This is my first story and it might\nsuck a lot so please give some constructive criticism! :3\n\n\nIt was a bright, shining day\nin the region of Unova when 5 year old Landon burst through the door\nof his house in Nuvema Town.\n\n\n\n\n\"Mom! I'm going to the\nforest to explore!\" yelled Landon.\n\n\n\n\"Landon! Come back here\nright now\" his mom yelled back.\n\n\n\n\"No!\"\n\n\n\nLandon's heart filled with joy\nand adrenaline as he sprinted out to Route 1. He then took a sharp\nright and jumped straight into the forest. Landon had always dreamed\nof exploring the forest one day and while his mom was cooking lunch,\nhe took the chance to go on an adventure. Little did Landon know\nabout the dangers lurking in the forest...\n\n\n\nAfter a couple of minutes of\njumping into leaf piles and throwing sticks, Landon came to a\nclearing. In the middle of the clearing was an egg. Landon's face\nsuddenly brightened up and thought: Wow, I want that egg! Maybe\nsomeday it will hatch into something cool!\n\n\n\n\nAs Landon picked up the egg,\nhe almost dropped it because of how heavy it is. The egg was almost a\nthird of Landon's full height. Landon thought that it was getting\ndark, so he headed home. As he was walking through the forest, he\nheard growling. All of a sudden, a wild poochyena jumped out at\nLandon.\n\n\n\n\"Uh oh, mommy! Daddy!\nSomeone help me!!!\" Landon screamed as he ran through the forest as\nfast as he could while holding on to the egg. Suddenly, Landon burst\nonto route 1 and straight into his mother's arms.\n\n\n\n\"Landon, I told you not to\ngo into the forest alone!\" Scolded his mom, \"And what is it that\nyou're holding?\"\n\n\n\n\"Oh, it's a pokemon egg I\nfound in the forest! Mom, can I keep it please?\"\n\n\n\n\"Ok fine, but promise me not\nto ever go into that forest again, ok?\"\n\n\n\n\"Alright mommy!\"\n\n\n\nLandon was actually quite\nsurprised that his mom let him keep the egg. His parents have always\nbeen against owning pokemon because they thought that they were\ndangerous and harmful to their son. Regardless, Landon was very glad\nthat he got to keep the egg.\n\n\n\n\nThrough the next year, Landon\nhad the egg by his side at all times. Everywhere he went, he took the\negg with him. Landon's parents were also getting quite annoyed at the\negg because it was Landon's only friend.\n\n\n\n\nOne morning about a year\nlater, the egg began to crack.\n\n\n\n\"Mommy!\nDaddy! The egg is hatching! Come look!\" Landon\nyelled excitedly.\n\n\n\nEveryone gathered around the\negg to see what it would hatch into. All of a sudden, the egg burst\nin a huge wave of heat and light. Everyone in the room was blinded\nfor a second. When everyone regained their vision, all were shocked\nto see what it is except for Landon. It was a small, fluffy white\ndragon-like pokemon with a big, blazing tail and a flowing mane. It\nhad bright-blue eyes and had tiny claws on its wings. Baby reshiram\nstarted to whimper because of all the people looking at it. When it\nfound Landon's face, he recognized it from the time it had been in\nthe egg and waddled over to him.\n\n\n\n\"Look mommy, daddy! Look!\nWhat is it?\"\n\n\n\n\"No, this can't be true...\nSon, it's the legendary pokemon reshiram!\" Landon's dad said with a\nshocked look on his face.\n\n\n\n\"Awww, he's so cute! Mommy,\ncan I keep him?\"\n\n\n\n\"Landon,\nuh,\" Landon's mom suddenly broke out into rage, \"NO! That thing\nis dangerous. You can't keep him!\"\n\n\n\n\"No mommy, he's my friend!\"\nLandon said with tears in his eyes.\n\n\n\n\nLandon\nsuddenly scooped up the baby reshiram and ran out the door, never to\nbe seen by his parents again...\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n"}
