You were never real. Never were and never will be.

But for today, I'll sit real still, and close my eyes.

If I shut them tight enough, I can see you there.&nbsp;

I can remember you clearly, and I can smile. I can love again.

If I open my eyes, a single tear will shed, going down my face.&nbsp;

It's sort of beautiful, even though it ended in disgrace.&nbsp;

As long as I close my eyes, you are there.

But when I open them, you're gone.

You were never real. Never were and never will be...&nbsp;
