Ash was moving before he even knew it himself, running toward the tent and   \n  \ndropping the water bucket he'd been carrying from the river they'd camped by last night.\n\n\"Dawn! What's wrong?\" Both he and Brock arrived at the same time, but not before   \n  \nPikachu, who quickly unzipped part of the tent's door and slipped inside. After a few   \n  \nseconds, the Electric pokemon was back, a look of shock on its face, Dawn's Piplup   \n  \nfollowed close behind. Ash quickly stooped next to the two pokemon, concern on his   \n  \nface. \"Pikachu, is Dawn ok?\" Pikachu gave him a 'who knows' kind of shrug.\n\n\"Pika, pika pika, pikachu!\" From the tent, Ash heard Dawn's voice.\n\n\"No, I'm alright Pikachu, it was just a shock...\" Everyone was shocked when Dawn,\n\n\u0026nbsp; now dressed as she usually did, stepped out of the tent. Her body had changed greatly   \n  \novernight; her hair had turned from its usual dark colour to a light brown, light brown fur   \n  \ncovered the rest of her body as well. Her face had changed shape, becoming more canine   \n  \nlike, just as her ears had lengthened and become more pointed. Her eyes had become   \n  \ndark pools of deepest black, and she now sported a bushy fox-like tail. She was human,   \n  \nand yet she now bore many of the features of an Eevee. Ash was completely stunned and   \n  \nsat on the ground hard.\n\n\"Whoa Dawn, what happened?\"\n\n\"I'm not really sure, I just woke up like this. I feel fine though, even if I had to leave out   \n  \na part of my wardrobe.\" Brock quickly closed his mouth and took charge. Ash turned to   \n  \nPikachu, trying to collect his thoughts. Dawn's sudden change had him worried, other   \n  \npeople might hurt her while she was like this, and he didn't want to see that happen.\n\nFor the time being though, there wasn't much the three friends could really do about the\n\n\u0026nbsp; situation, and breakfast was just about ready anyway. Ash quietly thought back to what   \n  \nDawn had said before while he ate, something about leaving a part of her wardrobe out.   \n  \nHe was more than a little curious about that, and so as soon as they were done eating, he   \n  \ndecided to ask her. His question made her look away in obvious embarrassment.\n\n\"If you really have to know Ash, I couldn't put on any of my underwear, ok? None of   \n  \nmy panties could handle this tail, and there's a tuft of thinker fur on my chest so...\" she   \n  \nstopped talking before she could go into more detail, something for which Ash was very   \n  \nglad. While he knew what girls had on their chests, he'd only ever really seen Misty's,   \n  \nand that had been the result of an accident at the hot springs of Cinnabar Island and had   \n  \nonly happened once. Though he had to admit, he was a little curious as to what Dawn's   \n  \nbreasts looked like now that she was more like an Eevee than a full human.\n\nDawn ate her breakfast slowly, contrary to what she told the others, her stomach was still\n\n\u0026nbsp; a bit queasy. Still, it was kinda nice to be as cute as an Eevee without even trying, and it   \n  \nmight even help her to win her next Contest. She felt her tail starting to twitch and wag   \n  \nat the thought.\n\n'Now that's going to take some getting used to, I mean, I've never had a tail before!' She   \n  \nthought. Everyone was finishing breakfast when she looked around, so she gulped down   \n  \nthe last of her food and settled her skirt and hat. Her hat didn't really fit over her new   \n  \nears, but she did the best she could. After that, she helped to clean up the camp and break   \n  \ndown her tent. Within about fifteen minuets, the three friends were back on the road, and   \n  \nheaded for Pastoria City. It turned out that while she had been in the hospital, Ash had   \n  \ngone to the Veilstone Gym to try for his next badge, but the Gym Leader had gone on a   \n  \nvacation and wasn't expected back for another two weeks at least.\n\nShe sighed and just kept on walking with her friends, trying to enjoy the trip. It was a   \n  \nfairly pleasant day, sunny, and warm without even a cloud in the sky. The road was clear\n\n\u0026nbsp; and easy to travel along, not only that, but there were plenty of trees and bushes for when   \n  \nshe and her friends decided to take a break in the shade. It all seemed so perfect   \n  \nsomehow, she was even starting to get used to the feel of having a tail and a body   \n  \ncovered in fur by the time lunch rolled around. She didn't see the eyes that watched her   \n  \nfrom the bushes, or hear the three voices talking about what they saw. She was too   \n  \nfocused on the story Brock was telling about his large family.\n\n\\*\\*\\*\n\nThe three in question were none other than Team Rocket. James lowered his binoculars   \n  \nas the group of friends approached, his eyes locked onto the altered form of Dawn.\n\n\"Hmmn, it looks as if one of the twerps is having a bit of an identity crisis.\" He mused.   \n  \nJessie also lowered her binoculars, a slight grimace on her features as she looked the   \n  \nother girl over, noting the various changes and how they made her look.\n\n\"She's got some nerve, trying to make herself look like an Eevee since she can't hope to   \n  \ncompare to my beauty...\" Meowth glanced over at the humans he called his friends and\n\n\u0026nbsp; teammates. Privately, the scratch cat pokemon thought that Jessie was too conceited for   \n  \nher own good, and James was definitely an idiot of the first order, but they were his   \n  \nfriends, and he still sort of like them. Most of the time anyway.\n\n\"Would you two pipe down?\" Meowth took careful notice of the way Dawn's tail and   \n  \nears moved. There was no way they were fakes like Jessie seemed to think, but how was   \n  \nthat possible? Meowth lowered his binoculars and considered for a few moments, but   \n  \ncouldn't come up with anything since his two human 'teammates' couldn't seem to stop   \n  \nbickering with each other for more than ten seconds. Though this time they were sticking   \n  \nto the topic of how to swipe Pikachu for the boss. Lately Meowth hadn't really taken any   \n  \njoy in this job, he had missed so much! At least twenty breeding seasons had passed   \n  \nsince they first started chasing after that electric rat, and he hadn't been able to get away   \n  \nfrom work to find a mate even once.\n\nMeowth had considered asking Jessie to help him with his sexual needs once or twice,\n\n\u0026nbsp; but knew she would never go for it, being human and all she'd want to be with a human   \n  \nand not a pokemon. Still, it was a thought that had persisted in Meowth's mind for   \n  \nseveral months now.\n\nShaking his head firmly to dispel all thoughts of sex or mating, Meowth turned back to   \n  \nthe task at hand. Looking through his binoculars again, he tried to focus on Ash and   \n  \nPikachu, but time and time again found his gaze shifting back to Dawn. Her light brown   \n  \nfur and hair, perfectly blending human and Eevee into one, and that tail...it looked so soft   \n  \nand inviting, the way it... angrily Meowth tore his eyes from their study of Dawn, he had   \n  \nto try harder to block her out! He was after a Pikachu, not an Eevee-human hybrid!   \n  \nEven if she was kinda cute like that, with her sweet little muzzle and...there he went   \n  \nagain! Meowth finally just lowered the binoculars.\n\n\"Meowth, what do you think?\" Jessie's question caught him off guard, and then he   \n  \nrealized that he'd already been asked several times by both Jessie and James for his\n\n\u0026nbsp; opinion of something.\n\n\"About what Jes?\" It was a fairly safe question; Meowth knew that Jessie loved the   \n  \nsound of her own voice, so she would gladly answer it.\n\n\"It's ridiculous the lengths that little twerp of a girl has gone to in order to try and match   \n  \nme in looks, that costume is...\"\n\n\"That ain't no costume Jessie, it's all real. Hey! I just got a great idea of how to get into   \n  \nthe boss's good graces again!\" Both humans leaned closer to the pokemon, James   \n  \nnodding for Meowth to continue.\n\n\"Lay it on us Meowth.\"\n\n\"If we were to bring that girl to the Boss, he'd be the only one in the world to have an   \n  \nEevee like her. Imagine him walking into the room with the special Eevee girl we gave   \n  \nhim at his side, he'd instantly gain the kind of attention he craves, and then he'll say 'it   \n  \nwas awfully nice of Meowth and his friends to give me this unique Eevee, and I'm going   \n  \nto see to it that they're rewarded handsomely for their generosity!'\" It was more than   \n  \nenough to set off the human's greed for money and power, but Meowth had a secret\n\n\u0026nbsp; reason for wanting to grab the transformed human. One that he kept to himself as the   \n  \nthree formed their plans to capture Dawn.\n\nPikachu was feeling very confused, on the one hand, Dawn seemed to be adjusting well   \n  \nto being a human-Eevee hybrid, but on the other, he was greatly concerned for her safety.   \n  \nHe really didn't know what to do, or even if he should do something. He considered   \n  \nDawn to be a good friend, both to himself and to Ash even though the two of them got   \n  \ninto more arguments than the electric mouse thought possible.\n\nTrying to keep it casual, he glanced at Dawn to see how she was doing, and what he saw   \n  \nwasn't very reassuring. She had her tail raised enough to hike up her skirt, unknowingly   \n  \ndisplaying the cleft of her ass every time she took a step. He'd have to caution her about   \n  \nthat, before she embarrassed herself in front of a full human. Pikachu didn't really   \n  \nunderstand why they covered themselves all the time, despite all the time he'd spent with   \n  \nAsh, but he knew enough that exposure like that could get Dawn into a lot of trouble with\n\n\u0026nbsp; some humans. As the group stopped for a little break, he felt that he wouldn't get a better   \n  \nopportunity to get Dawn alone for a little talk today, and there really wasn't any way to   \n  \nmake it any easier on either of them. Hopping over to Dawn, Pikachu took a deep breath.\n\n\"Dawn, I need to talk to you for a minuet. It's really important.\" Dawn looked down at   \n  \nPikachu and nodded.\n\n\"What's up Pikachu?\" Pikachu coughed a few times, scratching his head to try and get   \n  \nhis thoughts together.\n\n\"I don't know any delicate way to say this Dawn, but your tail was hiking up your skirt   \n  \nwhile we were traveling. I wasn't particularly bothered by you showing yourself, but   \n  \nother humans might be. I just thought you'd want to know.\" Dawn's cheek fur fluffed in   \n  \nembarrassment. Quite clearly, she hadn't known she was exposing herself.\n\n\"Thanks for telling me Pikachu, I'll work on getting better control over my tail.\" Pikachu   \n  \nnodded to her, but an odd smell was invading his senses. He found it very distracting,   \n  \nlike a nagging itch that was just beyond reach. It was also strangely familiar, but he\n\n\u0026nbsp; couldn't quite remember where he had smelled something like this before.\n\nPutting the matter out of his mind for the moment, Pikachu hopped back to Ash as he and   \n  \nBrock looked ready to continue. Before any of them could move though, a clamp like   \n  \narm grabbed Dawn around her waist and lifted her screaming into the air.\n\nAsh looked up as he heard Dawn scream, but he was helpless to stop her from being   \n  \nlifted off the ground.\n\n\"What's going on?!\" A trio of laughing voices seemed to answer him as he spotted Team   \n  \nRocket's balloon hovering overhead. \"Not you losers again!\" Without missing a beat,   \n  \nthe three crooks launched into their motto:\n\n'Listen, is that a voice I hear?'\n\n'It's coming to me loud and clear.'\n\n'On the wind!'\n\n'Past the stars!'\n\n'In your ear!'\n\n'Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace,'\n\n'Dashing all hope and putting fear in its place.'\n\n'A rose by any other name's just as sweet,'\n\n'When everything's worse, our work is complete.'\n\n'Jessie,'\n\n'James,'\n\n'Meowth, there's a name,'\n\n'Putting the do gooders in their place.'\n\n'We're Team Rocket,'\n\n'And we're in your face!'\n\nAsh just groaned, he'd heard Team Rocket spouting the same kind of gibberish for years\n\n\u0026nbsp; now, and it was really getting old. Right now though, he was more concerned for Dawn   \n  \nthan anything else. He knew Pikachu's Thunder Attack could make quick work of that   \n  \nballoon, as it had in the past, but that would put Dawn in danger since she would get   \n  \nshocked too. In half a second, he'd made his decision.\n\n\"Staravia, I choose you!\" Tossing a Pokeball into the air, Ash didn't have long to wait   \n  \nbefore the Bird-type pokemon appeared in a flash of light. \"Staravia, use Quick Attack   \n  \non that balloon!\" The pokemon nodded and launched straight for the balloon, ripping a   \n  \nlarge hole and grounding Team Rocket again. He and Brock rushed in to help Dawn get   \n  \nout of the grasper. Working quickly with Pikachu doing what it could, both boys   \n  \nwrenched the clamp open.\n\nDawn seemed unhurt by her fall, but her shirt had been torn open a little by a low branch,   \n  \nexposing her fury chest. Ash couldn't really resist a quick peek at Dawn's breasts and   \n  \nfelt his pants bulge a little at the sight. She had an undeniably nice rack, at least a C cup,\n\n\u0026nbsp; her fur seemed only to enhance the lovely swells until Ash felt the need to cup one of   \n  \nthem in his hand, but he squashed the feeling for now, his concern for Dawn's safety, as   \n  \nwell as knowing from experience that Team Rocket wasn't quite out yet, overrode the   \n  \nrising hormone levels in his body.\n\nTrue to form, said Team crawled from the ruins of their balloon, pokeballs already in the   \n  \nhands of the human members as they prepared to fight it out.\n\n\"Dawn, you ok?\" At her nod, Ash let out a relieved breath, though he was slightly   \n  \ndisappointed when she closed her shirt enough to cover herself again. Ash quickly turned   \n  \nhis attention to Team Rocket though as Jessie called on her Seviper and James called out   \n  \nboth his Cacnea and Carnivine, both of which promptly attacked him as usual before   \n  \ntaking up their positions beside Seviper. Jessie looked completely outraged about   \n  \nsomething and she looked more prepared for battle this time, more focused, and that had   \n  \nAsh worried. Under normal circumstances, both human members of Team Rocket tended\n\n\u0026nbsp; to be more overconfident than anything else and so made a multitude of mistakes in   \n  \nbattle, but if Jessie was actually thinking her way though the battle, it could prove a more   \n  \ndifficult fight this time. Ash was all set to call on both Pikachu and Staravia and Brock   \n  \nwas all ready to back him up with his Crogunk, when Dawn simply stepped to the front,   \n  \ncarefully holding her shirt closed.\n\nDawn swallowed nervously, she wasn't sure what she was thinking stepping out like this,   \n  \nbut she was curious if she could talk to any pokemon or just those of her friends.\n\n\"Why are you three so eager to battle us all the time? For that matter, why do you listen   \n  \nto these guys in the first place?\" Seviper looked a little uncomfortable with the question,   \n  \nand glanced at its battle partners.\n\n\"You'd never understand, you're not a pokemon, you're human.\" Seviper's voice was a   \n  \nlittle husky, but had an undeniably feminine quality and that gave Dawn a few seconds   \n  \npause.\n\n\"Wait, you're a female pokemon?\" Seviper nodded, then did a double take, her eyes\n\n\u0026nbsp; growing wide.\n\n\"You...you understand pokemon words?\" Cacnea made a slashing motion with its arms,   \n  \nscowling at the snake-like pokemon.\n\n\"Don't be ridiculous Seviper, no human really understands when pokemon speak. They   \n  \nonly get the gist of it. Even James doesn't really understand, just ask Mime Jr. if you   \n  \ndon't believe me!\" The Grass-type also sounded female, and that explained a lot about   \n  \nwhy she was always attacking her trainer.\n\n\"I understand you perfectly Cacnea, I think it might have something to do with the   \n  \npokemon blood I was given after our last encounter.\" This time it was Cacnea's turn to   \n  \nstare. Carnavine chuckled at her confusion.\n\n\"Looks like that human just pulled out your roots Cac, you know, if you stopped   \n  \nattacking our trainer all the time, he might get to understand us a bit better.\" Cacnea   \n  \nscowled at the other pokemon.\n\n\"How many times have I told you that I hate that nickname? Anyway, you're one to talk   \n  \nabout me attacking James, \\*you\\* attack him even more than I do!\" Seviper rolled her\n\n\u0026nbsp; eyes as the two Grass-types started bickering.\n\n\"Oh brother! There they go again!\" Both Jessie and James just stood flabbergasted as   \n  \nDawn was talking to their pokemon. Jessie was the first to loose her temper though.\n\n\"Seviper! What are doing? Attack that twerp with Poison Tail now!\" Seviper flinched   \n  \nand looked apologetically at Dawn.\n\n\"Sorry I have to do this, but I have my orders, it's nothing personal...\" Seviper's tail   \n  \nbegan to glow as she charged Dawn. Dawn's reaction to the sudden attack was pure   \n  \ninstinct, she crossed her arms in front of her body and braced herself to try and fend off   \n  \nthe attack.\n\nAnd ther we go, the next chapter is done, but ive left some really burning questions this time havnt i? will Dawn ever get back to being human? will Team Rocket succeed in their efforts to capture her? and what the heck is really on Meowth's mind when he looks at her? comments always welcome and will receve an answer!\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: The Changing of Dawn","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/86177-pokemon-diamond-and-pearl-the-changing-of-dawn.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/87002-the-changing-of-dawn-part-3-in-the-heat-of-the-night.json"}}
