It was given to me by RobTheBunny about his character and KaloTheSkunk. This story is mostly clean but tagged adult for a short masturbation scene. Instead of being a sexual based story, it's entirely based off friendship and a slow building romance. It was very fun to do and I even wrote a lot of this one on actual pen and paper. It really helped with the whole process, especially doing some of the writing in parks and other on scene locations.\nI really hope you all enjoy it, it was a pleasure to work on :) And who knows, maybe there'll be more to come.","content":"All characters\ndepicted in this work are purely fictional and over the age of 18. Any\nsituation is meant as parody and does not represent any child, living or\notherwise.\n...\nKalo\nlet out a long, comfortable sigh as the fresh spring wind tickled his fur, the\nskunk adjusting his glasses as he looked up at the warming sun. He had decided\nto take one of his usual strolls, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature as\nhe cleared his head. He felt at peace with the world as he immersed itself in\nits rejuvenating season, taking a quick trek over to the park to keep the good\nfeeling going. He walked along the beautiful tree lines when he arrived at the\npark, watching as the leaves would rustle with the gentle wind.\nOverall\nhis Zen was not too disturbed until he suddenly heard the faintest sound of\ncrying. He couldn't help but drawn to the noise as curiosity arose in him,\nespecially when he began to tell the voice belonged to a younger critter. He\nstepped slowly towards the figure when he was finally in view, the young rabbit\ncovering his face with his paws as he sobbed away. \"H-hey,\" Kalo said calmly as\nhe stepped a little closer, \"Is everything ok?\" When the rabbit looked up Kalo\ncould tell he must have only been a few years younger than him, the cute\nbunny's lip quivering as he scratched awkwardly at his mahogany red hair.\n\"Uh,\numm, I-I'm fine,\" the rabbit lied so obviously, still sniffling, \"J-just umm...\"\n\"Hey\nyou don't have to tell me if you don't want to,\" the skunk said gently, setting\nhimself down on the park bench next to the bunny as he took a spare Kleenex\nfrom his pocket, \"Looks like you may need one of these.\"\n\"Th-thanks,\"\nthe bunny said in his washy tone, wiping his eyes a little before blowing his\nnose, \"Wh-what's your name?\"\n\"Kalo,\"\nthe skunk said with a smile, instinctually rubbing the bunny's back for the\nsake of comfort, \"What's yours?\"\n\"Rob,\"\nthe rabbit said, giving a weak little smile from the skunk's gentle touch, \"Umm\nK-Kalo, why are you being so nice to me?\"\n\"What\ndo you mean?\" the skunk asked curiously in response to the boy's strange\nstatement.\n\"Well\nyou see,\" the bunny began, \"No one's ever really been nice to me, unless they\nwanted something from me... is there something you wanted from me?\"\n\"What?\nNo, I just couldn't leave you all by yourself crying, what sort of guy would I\nbe if I did that?\"\nThe\nbunny looked a little confused as he shuffled his legs back and forth anxiously\non the bench, \"I don't know, I just... it's just, everyone has always been so\nmean to me, and you seem... so nice Kalo.\"\nThe\nskunk blushed a little as he was given such a nice complement, scratching the\nback of his head as he said, \"Well, I try... you umm, you sound like you could\nuse someone to talk to... do you want an ear to listen Rob?\"\nThe\nbunny was unsure at first, having just met this new fur, but eventually decided\nto nod, smiling gently to the skunk, \"Yeah, I-I would.\" The bunny scooched a\nbit closer to the skunk as he began to tell him about his troubles, regaling past\nmemories of lost friendships and bullying, the rabbit seemingly letting go of\ncountless stored up tension. After the rabbit was done his tales he broke down\nagain, clutching to the skunk suddenly in a tear filled hug. \"I'm sorry,\" he\nsobbed as he squeezed the skunk, \"It's just, I feel like I can trust you, and\nyou're so kind...\"\nKalo\nsqueezed the rabbit back as he whispered to him gently, \"Shh, it's alright Rob,\nI'm glad you trust me.\" He pat the boy's back as he let him regain his\ncomposure, eyes closing as he felt another nice breeze travel up from the grass\ninto his face. As time went on, the sun began to crawl down over the horizon,\nKalo realizing just how long the pair had sat in the park together. \"Rob,\" the\nskunk said finally, scooting up a bit, \"It's getting pretty late, I should\nprobably take you home.\"\nThe\nrabbit looked suddenly disheartened, but nodded anyways, getting to his feet,\n\"Yeah, I guess I should start heading home before Vicky has a heart attack.\"\nThe\ntwo started the trek back to the rabbit's home, still chatting away as they\nmoved along. Kalo's spirits remained rather bright, but he couldn't help but\nnotice that his companion seemed rather down. \"Is everything ok Robbie?\" the\nskunk asked, trying to cheer him up with a little pet name.\n\"Oh,\nI just really don't like my babysitter,\" the rabbit grumbled, looking to the\npavement a she walked, \"She's really mean to me.\"\nThe\nskunk rubbed his friend's back as they walked along, noticing a dark expression\non the bunny's face as they were clearly almost at his house, \"what kind of mean?\"\n\"There\nyou are you little shit!\" a voice suddenly growled nearby. Kalo's head\nswivelled over o the direction of the voice, Rob cowering and looking away,\nknowing he had reached the inevitable outcome of his actions. \"Where the hell\nhas he been?!\" the tabby cat harped at Kalo.\n\"He\nwas at the park...\" the skunk replied, a little dumbfounded at the sudden\noutbursts of the angry babysitter.\n\"Well\nwhat was he doing there so late?!\" she growled, \"If his parents had come home\nthey would have killed me!\"\n\"I-I'm\nsorry Vicky,\" Rob whimpered in his hunched cowardice, \"I-I didn't mean to worry\nyou, I just w-wanted to go outside and-\"\n\"Oh\nplease!\" the feline spat, \"You don't even have any friend to go outside with!\"\n\"Yes\nI do!\" the rabbit boomed out triumphantly, clutching the skunk tightly, \"Kalo\nis my friend, and I went to go see him!\"\nThe\nolder female seemed sort of taken back from the rabbit's out of character\ndefiance, shaking her head as she rethought her argument, \"Ok... and did you ask\nme if you could go to the park?\"\n\"Well,\"\nthe rabbit's ears drooped back down, \"I, umm, guess not.\"\n\"You\nknow what,\" the cat said with a shake of her head, \"Just go to your room, I'll\nlet your parents deal with you when they get home!\"\nThe\nrabbit followed his superior's instructions, looking very sad as he walked\naway, smiling weakly to the skunk, \"Goodbye Kalo, it was really nice meeting\nyou.\"\n\"Good-\"\nthe door slammed shut before he could finish, \"-bye...\" Kalo sighed to himself as\nhe felt helpless to better the rabbit's situation, turning to start his own\nwalk home.\n...\nThe\nfollowing day Kalo had returned to the rabbit's home, this time biking over\ninstead of walking. He felt a great deal of anxiety as he knocked on the\nrabbit's door, assuming the bitter babysitter would be the one to answer. Much\nto his pleasant surprise, a seemingly sweet rabbit answered the door,\npresumably the boy's mother. After a quick exchange of pleasantries, Rob came\nbounding out of the backyard with a bike and helmet, clearly too excited at the\nidea of Kalo's activity to wait.\n\"Kalo\nyou came back!\" the bunny nearly cried in happiness, pushing out the kickstand\nof his bike so he could give the skunk a big hug, \"How did you know I love\nbiking.\"\nThe\nskunk shrugged as he smiled gently to the boy, \"Just a hunch, you ran to the\npark when you were upset so... I got the feeling you liked outdoor activities,\nwas just lucky that you also already owned a bike.\"\nRob\nnodded furiously before nuzzling the skunk's side, \"Well you guess right!\" He\nquickly hopped onto his bike and gave it a quick test peddle, feeling quite\nsatisfied with the quick ride up and down his driveway, \"Ok Kalo, where did you\nwanna go?\"\nThe\nskunk grinned as he got onto his own bike, \"I have just the place in mind!\"\n...\nTheir\njourney seemed faster than it actually had been as Kalo led his new friend\nalong the familiar paths, the skunk rather impressed with how easily the\nyounger cub could keep up.\nRob\nfound himself peaking at the skunk's butt a few times, the slight firmness of\nit and the wind running through his tail making the boy feel quitter funny. He\nquickly shook the thoughts away though as they confused him, making him feel a\nlittle uncomfortable. Otherwise the bike ride had proven to be tons of fun, and\nthe rabbit was more than excited when they reached the destination that Kalo\nhad had in mind.\nIt\nwas the most magnificent park Rob had ever seen. Inside it was three areas as\nbig as the park where Rob lived, left alone for wildlife to grow in. There were\ntwo rather large playgrounds, a public swimming pool, a basketball court,\ntennis court and a hall that could be rented out for special events. \"This is\nmy favourite park,\" Kalo said to his friend as they set their bikes up gently\nby the first playground, \"There's a little bit of everything here.\"\n\"It\nlooks wonderful!\" Rob said with his eyes wide and sparkly, \"I'm so excited\nKalo, how do you know me so well already?\"\nThe\nskunk shrugged again as he giggled gently, \"I don't know Rob, it just feels\nlike I've known you for a long time, weird right?\"\nThe\nrabbit shook his head as he hugged Kalo, feeling that funny feeling again, \"Not\nweird Kalo... it's nice.\"\n\"So,\"\nKalo said with a grin, \"What do you wanna do first?\"\nRob\npatted his feet excitedly on the ground as he looked around the vibrant display\nof the rather impressive park, \"I know, the swings!\"\n\"Ok!\"\nthe skunk replied brightly, scampering over with his friend over to the nearby\nswing set. The chains on them went up fairly high, and it didn't take too much\neffort to get some air once the two kicked off from the sandy pit under them.\n\"Betcha I can go higher!\" Kalo called out to the rabbit playfully, swinging\nhard to gain as much momentum as possible.\n\"You're\non!\" Rob cheered as he kicked his little feet as hard as he could, swinging\nhigher and higher into the air. For a moment it looked like he was about to win\nthe competition, but only managed to roughly tie with Kalo a couple of times,\nthe slightly older boy gaining a natural advantage.\n\"Don't\nworry too much,\" Kalo said before the bunny even had time to pout, \"My old\nhouse used to have a swing set in the back backyard, so...\" he gave the bunny a\nplayful wink, \"You were doomed from the start!\"\nA\nmoment later the rabbit hopped off the swing, stretching his legs back out,\n\"Eh, my legs were getting tired anyways, how about we take a quick walk around\nthat little forest area?\"\nKalo\nsmiled as he hopped off his own swing, \"That sounds like a great idea!\"\n...\nDays\npast and the two had become closer friends than ever, choosing to share each\nother's company with as many activities as possible. After two weeks of a\nquickly growing bond, the two found themselves back at their favourite park,\nsplashing around in the cool waters of the outdoor pool. The two seemed to be\nhaving a vigorous splash war in the afternoon sun, the bunny letting out the\nloudest laughs as Kalo had begun tickling his belly. \"Ah, no fair!\" the rabbit\nhowled as he kicked and splashed.\n\"All's\nfair in love and war!\" the skunk roared as he kept up the tickling assault, an\nodd feeling stirring in Rob. He knew his friend's statement was nothing more\nthan a saying, but something about the word love\nmade him feel all funny like before.\nHis\ncheeks reddened a little with a blush as he paddled away with his arms,\ncrossing his legs as he felt his little member get stiff. \"W-we should probably\nget going,\" the rabbit said as he tried to hide his reaction to the skunk's\nfingers, \"Vicky will be pissed if I'm home late again!\"\n\"Oh\nyes her...\" Kalo muttered in a cranky tone, hopping out of the pool and stepping\nover to his towel, \"Probably a good idea Robbie, we can have another race\nhome!\"\n\"Yeah!\"\nthe rabbit said with sudden excitement, shooing away his negative thoughts for\nthe moment.\n...\nRob\ngave Kalo a very disheartened wave goodbye when he finally arrived back to his\nhome, the skunk feeling rather melancholy as he watched his new friend mentally\nprepare for what would likely be stressful. Inside the rabbit slowly stepped\ninside, his eyes clenching tightly closed as he heard the all too familiar\nscreech of his cubsitter's voice, \"Late again? What the hell?!\"\n\"I-I'm\nsorry,\" Rob began to whimper out as he shrivelled down in front of the cat, the\nangry feline ready to swat.\nShe\nraised her paw as anger seemed to rise up in her, letting one heavy smack\ncollide across the rabbit's cheek, \"Enough of your excuses, you are just a\nspoiled brat!\"\n\"Th-that\nhurt!\" the rabbit cried as he rubbed the now sore spot of his cheek, tears\nfilling his eyes as he back away.\n\"You're\nlucky that's all I did,\" Vicky hissed as her hair stood on end, \"Your parents\nshould have started disciplining you a long time ago!\" She squeezed her paws\ntogether as if to scream, but suddenly stopped as she had the feeling she was\nbeing watched, the cat turning to look over anxiously at the skunk standing in\nthe doorway. Kalo had entered shortly after his friend, wanting to make sure\neverything would be alright. He had inadvertently caught the bad babysitter red\nhanded and intended on telling the boy's parent's everything. \"Wait, it's not\nwhat it looks like, kid, wait!\" Vicky pleaded, trying to rush towards the\nskunk, but failing to stop him in time.\n\"Shit!\"\nthe cat growled as she paced the hall anxiously, looking at the rabbit with a\nglare, \"I swear to god kid, if I get in shit for this!\"\n\"What\nthe hell is going on here?\" an older voice called out as a larger male rabbit\nstepped inside, seeing his boy cowered in the corner as Vicky raised her paw\nabove him. Little did Vicky and Rob know but Kalo had been secretly pleading\nwith the boy's parents about the current situation, eventually concerning the\nboy's father enough to sneak home early one day. Sure enough the decision had\nproven to be the right one, the boy's father fighting back a rage as he saw\nwhat his son had been forced to go through.\n\"Please\nMr. Myer, I can explain, I promise this all just a big misu-\"\n\"Get\nout.\" The older rabbit said plainly at first, going to his son to pick him up, \"I\nsaid get out Vicky, you're fired!\" At first the cat wanted to stay and defend\nher point, but quickly realized losing a part time job was better punishment\nthan the boy's father deciding to go further. She nodded silently as she\ngrabbed her things, leaving the house awkwardly in defeat. \"I am so sorry son,\"\nthe rabbit said as he hugged his sobbing cub, \"I'll never let that horrible\ngirl hurt you again!\"\n\"D-dad,\"\nthe smaller bunny sniffled, \"Can Kalo stay here tonight?\"\nHis\nfather nodded as he clutched his son tightly, wanting to do something more to\nmake it up to his son, \"Sure kiddo, your friend can sleep over tonight if his\nfolks let him.\"\n...\nRob's\nfather was left with a bit of a dilemma now that he had fired the terrible\nsitter. He still had to leave for work again that night and would be unable to\nwatch his son. It took a bit of convincing but considering how much of his\ntrust the skunk had gained in such a short time, he reluctantly agreed to let\nKalo watch over Rob that night.\nThe\ntwo decided that video games would be a fun activity to start off with, and\neach started battling through various multiplayer challenges. Around nine Rob's\nfather finally departed giving the cubs some last minute advice, \"Don't\nstay up too late, love you Rob!\"\n\"Love\nyou too dad!\" the rabbit called back, grinning to his best friend. He\nreached over as soon as that round was done, clutching the skunk in a big, warm\nhug. \"Thank you for saving me from that wretched witch!\" he said with\nmuch enthusiasm.\n\"Heh,\nno problem Robbie, I'm just so sorry she hurt you.\" The skunk rubbed the\nbunny's back with his paws, digging his claws in just deep enough to be\ncomfortable.\nRob\nsighed as he nuzzled into Kalo, feeling safe as could be in his arms. He\nblushed suddenly as his little member stiffened again, the rabbit still not\nquite sure what that meant. \"Hey, it's alright Kalo, I'm just glad you're\nhere with me now.\"\n\"Don't\nworry yourself,\" Kalo giggled as he rubbed his nose against Rob's, \"I\nain't going anywhere silly.\" Rob nodded as he looked away, wanting to believe\nKalo's words, but deep down knowing that happiness never seemed to quite work\nout for him.\n...\nRob\nsighed as he lay in the warm water of his bath, letting the soapy water soak\ninto his fur. He rubbed the bubbly solution over his arms, mumbling to himself\nas he got nice and comfortable. He felt the slightest tinge of dread in his\nheart as he thought about his best friend, trying not to shed a few tears as he\nrealized just how attached he had grown to Kalo. He feared the very thought of\nlosing the skunk, begging in his mind that he would stay and not just be\nanother staining statistic.\nHis\npaws roamed over his legs, making sure they were good and clean. They stopped\nhowever at his waist, roaming over his crotch as he noticed that he was once\nagain hard. He moved his paw over his stiff little member, slowly rubbing it\nuntil he felt good. His eyes closed as he let out a little whimper, his legs\nshaking in the tub as he thought about the skunk he had grown so attached to.\nHis grip tightened as the paw slid up and down, the bunny's breath tightening\nas the peculiar motion seemed to make him feel even funnier.\nHe\nkept up the motion until it all became too much for him, the rabbit stopping\njust as soon as the feeling became mildly overwhelming. He poked the slit on\nhis tip when he saw a little drip of liquid on the end, moving it up closer to\nhis eyes to get a better look at it. He wasn't sure what it was or how he made\nit, but the solution seemed to be colorless and sticky. He decided to stop\ntouching himself in that are soon after, not quite sure he was comfortable with\nthe feeling or the fact that his best friend made him feel it.\n...\nRob\nhopped into the bed with Kalo after they had both changed into their jammies,\nthe skunk having made a quick trip home before Rob's father had departed. The\ntwo snuggled together nice and close as they waited for slumber to descend upon\nthem, Rob blushing as he would occasionally get the strange stiffy. \"I'm glad\nyou're here\" the rabbit said gently to Kalo, rubbing his cheek against the\nskunk's as he breathed a sigh of relief.\n\"I'm\nglad I'm here too,\" the skunk said as he smiled at the adorable young rabbit, \"My\nfavourite place to be is around you Robbie.\"\nRob\nsmiled weakly as he poked two of his fingers together, a bashful look on his\nface as he whispered out, \"You p-promise to never leave me right?\"\nThe\nskunk looked back a little confused as he thought over the words his friend had\njust used, \"Yeah of course, why would you think I'd ever leave?\"\nRob\nshrugged as he pulled away, trying to hide a couple tears from the skunk, \"Oh...\nno reason.\"\nKalo\ndecided not to push the issue, and the two young boys slowly drifted off to\nsleep. Rob continued to stir throughout the night, tossing and turning as he\nfought with dream fueled restlessness. Eventually the rabbit woke up with a\nlittle squeak, his eyes full of tears as sweat poured from his forehead. The\nskunk had woken from the little shriek that Rob had made and he turned over to\nlook his friend in the eye, \"Are you ok Robbie?\"\nThe\nrabbit shook his head as he looked at the skunk with tear filled eyes, \"I had a\nreally bad dream.\"\n\"What\ndid you dream about?\" the skunk asked, his paw rubbing the rabbit's back\ngently.\nThe\nsmall lapine boy was silent, showing just how powerful the nightmares were. \"I...\ndreamt I had lost you\" Robert lied, not wanting to share the true nature of his\ndark, painful dreams. The black figures were still fresh in his memory as he\nbegan to sob into Kalo's chest. \"Please don't leave me Kalo!\" the rabbit cried\nas he nuzzled the boy over and over.\n\"I\nkeep telling you Robert, I'll never leave you!\" Kalo said with a bit of a\ntriumphant tone in his voice, gripping the boy by the cheek's as he looked into\nhis eyes, tearing a bit himself, \"I re-really like you!\"\n\"Wh-what\ndo you mean?\" the rabbit asked, dumbfounded as he shook a little.\n\"I\nlike like you...\"\nRob's\nlips quivered as he tried to find the right words to reply with, but instead\npushed forward, pressing his lips to Kalo's as he gave the skunk a long,\npassionate kiss. The two boys weren't sure exactly what they were doing, but it\nstill managed to be long and sensual. At that moment there was no thought of consequences,\nno tomorrow, no other factors but how they felt about each other.\nWhen\nthe kiss finally broke Rob whispered back to his friend, \"Kalo, I like you too,\nI've felt funny around you since we first met at the park... but I was scared to\nadmit it, because we're both, and, and I-\"\n\"Shh,\"\nKalo whispered, hushing the boy as he placed a single finger onto his lips, \"All\nthat matters is we both feel it.\" Rob was stunned at just how poignant and beautiful\nthe other boy's words were, closing his eyes as their lips met again for another\nkiss. The two clutched each other tighter than ever before, feeling each other's\nhearts race as they finally admitted what they had known all along. Rob felt\nhis member stiffen again, but for once it didn't bother him. Like his heart, it\njust felt oddly... right."}
