Yes, my house smells clean now.  \nOh gosh, I love planned visits so.   \n  \nPS: Writing as my Mind sees fit, unedited. i wonder how it will trun out.  \n[Furrific](http://www.furiffic.com/Uluri/info)|[Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/CandleFox)|[DeviantArt](http://uluri.deviantart.com/)|[Weasyl](https://www.weasyl.com/~uluri)_  \n\n* * *\n  \n  \n[Trace](http://candlefox.weebly.com/trace-mango-tide.html) invites [Kindling](http://candlefox.weebly.com/kindling.html) and his cousin [Cosmo](http://candlefox.weebly.com/cosmo.html) over for the morning to  \nhelp be rid the house of various smells that a accumulated from strange cookings  \nand socks thrown about. Trace doesn't even wear socks. It's a mystery/  \nas to where they come from. She always thinks sock gnomes might   \nkeep their stash of left socks from various lands at her house.  \n  \nThe two Candle Foxes arrive at Trace's Burrow, a nice little hole underneath  \nquite a large and ancient tree. Kindling turns to Cosmo and smiles. Cosmo  \nseems a little nervous. \"Don't worry Cosmo. It's a really easy job to do,\" Kindling say.  \nTheir job is to be the smell that be rids all other scents in the house.   \nThis is Cosmo's first time taking on this type of work with Kindling being his mentor.  \nKindling is one of the best Scent Exorcists around, and Cosmo doesn't  \nwant to make a bad impression on him.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Trace Answers the door, and invites the two inside. The house is quite clean.  \n\"Hello there guys, I know that the place seems pretty well off as it is on its own,  \nbut I just want to make sure that their aren't any smells hanging around   \nthat I'm blind to,\" Trace explains to the two. Kindling nods, \"That won't be a problem.  \nCosmo would be glad to take this job himself.\" Kindling nudges Cosmo.  \n  \nCosmo grabs his arm nervously, so unsure, \"I-I will try my best.\"  \n  \nTrace smiles at him, \"Thank you Cosmo.\" Then she leaves the house  \nto leave these two Candle Foxes to their Business.   \n  \nCosmo, so tense, takes a deep breath as Trace leaves. He nearly  \npasses out from the nervousness. Kindling goes to hold him up.  \n\"Alright, alright. Calm yourself Cosmo, your Fine.\" Kindling sets  \nCosmo on one of Trace's wooden Kitchen Chairs. A chair much smaller  \nthan the rest. It was made just for Kindling, so it fits their short stature.  \nTrace has her home Exercised of scents often, and thought a chair  \nmight be a great addition for her guest's comfort. Cosmo calms himself   \ndown finally and looks up to Kindling, \"Kindling, I'm alright now.\"  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; \"That's good Cosmo. Would you like to begin?\" Kindling holds out his hand  \nto help Cosmo back up to his feet. Cosmo then pulls out two small paper fans.  \nHis stance starts of on one food, the two fans above him. He sparks his purple flames  \nand a wafting scent of Flowers flows into the air. Cosmo then swipes the fans gently,  \nand moves himself across the room gracefully. Each swipe of the fan Casually  \nscooping the scented air from his tail across all parts of the room.   \n  \nThe scent that housed itself before begins to react to the scent of Cosmo's flame.  \nThey become visible, and intertwine with one another. \"Cosmo,\" Kindling spoke up,   \n\"your doing good. Let the scents dance with you. Draw them out as best you can.\"  \nCosmo closes his eyes. He's very nervous, though his Dancing is so graceful and flawless.  \nThe two scents intermingle, and pull at one another as he moves. The house soon  \nhas all of its scent drawn out; a great ball of of colors swirls in the Kitchen.   \n  \n\"This is it,\" Cosmo thought, \"This is the moment!\" Cosmo opens his eyes,  \nhis face becomes a bit more serious, but soon becomes too overwhelmed.   \nThe slightest ting of weakness shown to the other scent begins to pulls Cosmo's  \nflowerful gust into itself. \"This isn't good,\" Kindling mutters to himself.   \n\"Cosmo, Don't worry, I'll help you out!\" Kindling shouts out to Cosmo as  \nhe sees him stepping back.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Kindling Jumps out in front of Cosmo to finish the Exorcism of these smells.  \nCosmo begins to tear up a little and thinks to himself, \"I made a mess. I made a big mess.\"  \nHe sat their in tears as Kindling pulled the scents out from one another, and  \nturned them into a fine odor of fresh air. Cosmo Stutters through tears, \"K-Kindling, I'm.. I'm Really Sorry!\"  \nKindling turns to Cosmo and put a hand on his shoulder.   \n  \n  \n\"Don't worry, you did really good. This was the really tough part.  \nYou almost had it. I'm sure you will be able to get it the next time,\" Kindling reassures Cosmo.  \n\"We can come back next time and try again.\"  \n  \nCosmo looks through teary eyes, \"I don't want to. I'll mess up again. I'm bad at this.\"  \n  \nKindling puts his arms around Cosmo and hugs him tight, \"I'm sorry Cosmo,  \nyou can try when your ready again. Even if it's not for a while.\" Kindling looks   \nat Cosmo's runny nosed faces, and wipes off the tears and snot, \"But, in the mean time,  \nwould you like to try to finish the scent ritual? I know this is your favorite Part.\"  \nCosmo wipes his own face of and nods. He stands up wobbly, and slowly   \ncircles around the house letting his fire spark. The house's scent now smells  \nof a flower field as his Candle's scent descends. He then walks back over to Kindling.  \n\"I'm done,\" he says with a half smile.   \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; A knock at the door, and a female voice shouts, \"I'm home guys! Is it safe to come in?!\"  \n\"Kindling shouts back, \"Yeah, we just finished.\"  \n  \nTrace plows through the door with large bags in hand, and sets them out  \nonto the kitchen Table. She breaths in the air of the newly scented home.  \n\"My, this is such an open fragrance. It reminds me of when I went Cloud Gazing\"  \nTrace walks over to Cosmo and Crouches down to give him a hands shake.  \n\"Thank you so much Cosmo, you've done an amazing job. Would you like   \na sandwich for your troubles? I just bought some Bread and Jellies to Celebrate.\"  \nCosmo looks at Kindling, who shrugs with a smile on his face, then back at Trace  \nwho has an even more excited smile on her face. Cosmo Nods with a smile of his own, too.  \n  \nThe three spent the afternoon making PB\u0026J's of many kinds, and setting  \noutside to talk about all sorts of strange stories and tales. They had a really great  \ntime together. It soon became time for the two Candle Foxes to be on their way.  \nKindling looks at Cosmo, \"Even though things might not always turn out the best,  \nI always think it's worth it to get through those tough times to see those smiling  \nfaces at the end.\" Cosmo looks back at Kindling, \"Even though your scared?\"  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Kindling smiles, \"It just makes times like this even more worth while, I think.\"  \n  \nCosmo looks back at Trace's house as he leaves. Trace waves goodbye to them.  \n\"It does,\" Cosmo said happily. He giggles at himself a bit. \"When can we go again?\"   \n  \n\n"}
