Enjoy.","content":"He had no idea where he was going,\ndid Edward Peterson. But he was feeling unusually joyous.  They had come through yet another near\ncatastrophe with their skin and limbs intact and they were on their way to\nwho-knew-where looking for a woman who seemed as nebulous are the night air. \nAs they drove through the city\nheading to the west, away from the ocean that had recently been their temporary\nhome, Maggie shouted for him to turn around. He made a few corners until they\nwere back to where she had shouted. It was an electronics store.\n\"Cell phones! We need to get a hold\nof everyone! We got so wrapped up in our own problems we forgot about the\nothers!\"\n\"True, but I think the lady would\nhave had the kindness to tell us outright if something bad had happened to\nthem.\"\nThey ran into a problem with\nlanguage right away. Edward had been able to understand some in the past, but\nhe was finding that the rings didn't solve everything.  Two of werewolf blood, knowing different\nlanguages, had to either transform to speak or use the rings. He had understood\nthe courier well enough from his surprised reaction. But learning a whole new\nlanguage wasn't something one could do outright.\nOr could they?\nThe salesman was a young fellow,\nwho was trying valiantly to communicate. Edward reached out and grabbed his\nhand. The man's eyes went wide before rolling up in his head. The next moment\nhe was on the floor.\nMaggie screamed, alerting others in\nthe store, who came running to his aid. Edward stepped back appalled. \nFor the next thirty minutes the\nstore was abuzz with employees and then paramedics and rescue workers. They\ntook him away in an ambulance, unconscious but breathing. But at the outset of\nthis to-do Maggie pulled him aside, as no one had yet connected the man's\ncollapse with them.\n\"What the hell did you do?\"\n\"Ik was gewoon een poging om de basis\nvan zijn taal te achterhalen!\"\nShe stopped and stared. \"Did you\njust rip his mind out?\"\nHe shook his head as if to clear\nit. \"Shit! All I wanted to do was to be able to understand him!\"\nShe stared at the unmoving body on\nthe floor. \"I'm beginning to perhaps understand what that term was that Brother\nCarcharoth used. It has to be based off of Latin. When we get our phones, I\nneed to look it up.\"\nEdward felt terrible. He hadn't\nwished to harm the man, just get the gist of his language. But as time ticked\naway, he became aware that the conversations around him were comprehendible to\nhim, and yet they weren't in English. They came to his brain as English, but he\nknew the words were not. He checked in his memories for anything out of place,\nbut found nothing. There were no odd bits floating around that he couldn't\nassume had belonged to Robert.  So\nwhatever had happened to this young man, if wasn't likely to be permanent.\nAs it was, another sales clerk\nfinally had the presence of mind to assist them despite the commotion. This\ntime Edward was able to make sense of what was being said, and about twenty\nminutes after the ambulance left, he and Maggie left each with a brand new,\nfully functional phone. He had paid them up for a year's time, with full\nfunctionality right from the start. They simple had to wait a little while for\nthe service to begin.\nThis time he headed out of the city\nand went south, towards Belgium and the city of Brussels. He had no set\ndirection in mind at the moment, finding only that he wanted to be out of this\ncity. His unintentional attack on the sales clerk had left him shaken and\nunsure of himself.\nMaggie was quiet for most of the\nfirst hour of their drive. She knew that he had done something unintentional,\nand yet, she felt that he had done no real harm to the man. She would have\nrather waited around to see what became of him, but Edward would have none of\nit. He was like a child who had done something he wasn't supposed to do who\nthen ran and hid to escape discovery.\nShe finally had enough and directed\nhim to pull over at one of the exits. He did so only reluctantly. He drove into\nthe town and parked across from an old stone and brick building that obviously\nhoused a tavern. He decided he needed a drink.\nInside, he was happy to learn that\nin Belgium, they spoke pretty much the same Dutch as they did in Holland. He\nordered two beers, one apiece, and took a table in the darkest corner.\n\"What gives?\" she asked, concern\nevident in her tone.\n\"I might have killed him you know.\"\n\"Like you killed Robert?\"\n\"Yes. All I wanted to do was to...\"\n\"I know. You said it already. I\nthink you went in a little too strongly. \" Just then a series of electronic\nnoises signaled that their phones were working.\n\"OK. First things first. If you're\ngoing to try and drown your sorrows, remember that you can't, so don't even\ntry. You're protected against it by the metal in your head. Secondly, I'm\ncalling Uncle Alexei first to see if they made it to the ground safely. After\nthat, you and I are having a talk.\"\nShe was already dialing up her\nuncle's number from memory, which was good, considering that their old phones\nwere probably at the bottom of the North Sea. The phone rang for a while before\nhe picked it up. He didn't sound pleased.\n\"Who is this and how did you get\nthis number?\"\n\"Calm down! This is Maggie. Edward\nand I are alright.\"\nShe could hear the phone clatter as\nit hit the floor.  There was a shout of\njoy and then a mad scramble to pick it back up. \"Niece! Is it really you?\"\n\"Duh! Who else? We've had one hell\nof a ride. Is everyone on your end intact?\"\n\"Yes, yes! We have been worried\nsick about you. Where are you?\"\n\"In a bar somewhere in Belgium. We\nhad a meeting with someone that we now have to find. Someone called Lady Lily.\"\nThere was silence on the other end\nof the phone. When the voice returned it was a little tight. \"Lady Lily is a\nmyth.\"\n\"She seemed pretty real to us. She\nsaved us by pulling our lifeboat to shore.\"\nAgain the strain in the voice on\nthe other end was quite evident. \"This cannot be. Even I, who know so little\nabout our kind, know the stories. Do you not know them as well?\"\n\"Not me. I haven't a clue who she\nis, but she saved us and directed us to find her. So now we're going to try.\nWhere are you?\"\n\"We limped the plane back to St\nPetersburg. We assumed there was no physical possibility of finding you and had\nonly hope to hold us together. Trust me when I say I had little expectations of\never hearing from you again.\"\nShe spent the next hour talking\nwith her family, leaving Edward to pour drink after drink down his throat,\nlonging for the numbing effect it should have. He was becoming something more\nterrifying with each passing day, all the while fighting what he was becoming\nwith every ounce of strength he could muster. Images of The Beast kept flitting\nthrough his head. He could see himself becoming some uncontrollable horror\nworse than anything he had heard of or had yet encountered. He had punched\nholes in steel plating one-armed. He could decimate someone with a single\ntouch. He was finding that his control over his life was slipping away.\nWhen the barmaid brought him his\neighth mug of frothy gold, he smiled at her and thanked her. She stood there\nadmiring his ability to hold his alcohol.\n\"You must have a hearty\nconstitution! Not many can quaff so much in such a short period of time and\nstill remain seated upright.\"\nMaggie was still chatting away in\nan animated fashion, so he decided a conversation would be nice, even with a\nstranger.\n\"I'm afraid that alcohol and I\ndon't react as we should. I can't get drunk if my life depended on it.\"\nShe raised her eyebrows. \"Is that\nso?\"\n\"It is.\"\n\"Let me talk to the proprietor. He\nlikes taking bets. If you aren't a liar then maybe you and he can make a little\nwager.\" Before he could negate her suggestion, she was off to the back room.\nShe came back with a hefty fellow,\nflaxen of hair and beard, and with a gut denoting his like for food and drink.\n\"This is him. He has been drinking\nfor an hour past, and has no more become bleary-eyed than you do when you\ndrink.\"\n\"Ho! A challenger!\"\n\"Now wait a moment. I didn't come\nhere to make a scene. I just needed to get off the road for a little while.\"\n\"But here you are, and what an\nappetite for beer! I'll tell you what. You and I have a contest - no? I win,\nand you pay for all of the rounds. You win and I pay. And I will even throw in\na night's rest to seal the deal. There are very nice rooms nearby for you and\nyour lady.\"\nThe man was in earnest.  Apparently he had a reputation in these\nparts, and while it would have been wiser to avoid a confrontation with someone\nwho might possibly out-drink him, he chose just the opposite route. \n\"If you insist. This seems like a\nnice place to spend the night.\"\nThe man laughed. \"Ho! So the man\nthinks he might win against me - the great Roedelleider!\"\nEdward paused momentarily. He\nlooked up at the man.  \"Fine. You have a\ndeal.\"\nMaggie was confused when she got\noff of the phone, for there was now a big man sitting at their table, and he\nand her husband were eyeing each other warily. The big man was asking if he should\nmatch the number of drinks that he, Edward, had already consumed, but the\nmatter was waived off. \n\"They don't matter in the long\nrun.\"\nMaggie noted that he had taken his\nring off, though whether to try and get some effect from the alcohol or for\nsome other reason she didn't know. Apparently this was going to be a macho\nlittle contest, with the winner the one who hit the floor last. This big fellow\nhad no idea what he was getting himself into.\nFood was served with their drinks,\nand Maggie ordered another glass for herself, since her original one had\ndisappeared while she was talking with her family. She had taken care to talk\nwith his side as well, since he seemed preoccupied at the moment. She alluded\nthat he might be experiencing some difficulties, but otherwise left the matter\nopen to interpretation. \nThe blonde made a show of his\nemptying of his glasses, while Edward seemed more blasé. It wasn't his idea to\nhave this contest, much less wasting so much good beer when it could be enjoyed\nby others. But he was soon intrigued. While he had no doubt that this man had\nextraordinary powers when it came to drinking, he had no idea just how much he\nwas capable of holding. \nThe only interruption for either of\nthem was the occasional trip to the bathroom. The patrons soon crowded around,\nwatching in fascination as glass after glass of brew slipped down their gullets\nwith nothing to show for it. There was no red eyes, no rosy cheeks, nothing.  The knot of men seemed intrigued by this\ndisplay, and each picked a spot from where to watch and couldn't be budged from\ntheir perches..\nThe blonde finally called it a\ndraw. \n\"I declare you the winner! I am\ncutting my losses now since I am paying for it. You sir, are the new Roedelleider!\"\nMaggie narrowed her focus to\nEdward. \"What?\"\n\"His title I guess. I'm the new\nchampion. I probably get my name on the wall somewhere.\"\nThe blonde man shook his head to\nsay otherwise. \"No young lady, he is now the leader of the local pack.\"\n\"Pack of what? Drunkards?\"\nThe man might have taken offense,\nbut he understood more than he was letting onto to. \"You Americans think you\nknow so much. Bah. There are hundreds of werewolves who are older than your\nfledgling little country. You have much to learn.\"\nShe sat up. \"Werewolves? What the\nhell do you think we are?\"\n\"That would be impolite for me to\nsay. But if you are not of The Kind, then what are you?\"\nEdward rose. \"I don't know how this\ncame to pass, but I am in charge of no one. I am trying to find someone and so\nI have no intention of sticking around here.\"\n\"You have no choice. You are the\nleader now. To be honest, I have had it for far too long. It feels good to be\nrid of it, at least for the time being.\"\nMaggie was still stuck on the\nwerewolf bit. \"I take it you're of The Kind as well?\" She was aware that the bar\nwas filled with people who might or might not take their bantering for being\nnothing more than drunken stupidity. \nFor an answer his hair darkened and\ngrew out as his face lengthened. But then, just as quickly, he resumed his\nhuman appearance.\nEdward leaned back and cracked his\nshoulders. \"What gave us away?\"\n\"One does not drink like you drink\nwithout attracting notice. The lady who served you knows that I am always\nlooking for a challenger. It is good to finally be beaten.\"\nIndicating the crowd, Edward\ninquired. \"Is this those I am in charge of?\"\nSeveral men roared with laughter.\n\"No one is in charge of these men except for themselves. But if there is a\nneed, they will fight behind the one who leads. That is now you.\"\n\"Fight? Do you know something that I\ndo not?\"\n\"No. But the need does occasionally\nrise up where we are called upon.\"\nEdward sat back, looking both\namused and perturbed. \"How did you know I was coming here? I didn't even know\nit until I was ordered off the road.\"\n\"Son, I didn't know a thing about\nyou until you arrived. If you weren't coming here to issue the challenge, then\nwhere are you going?\"\n\"I seek someone called Lady Lily.\"\nThere was a murmur that ran through\nthe bar. \"Lady Lily you say. You realize that you cannot ever find her. She will\nfind you if she wishes to, but finding her? That has always been an\nimpossibility.\"\nMaggie morphed claws on her\nfingertips and ran them across the tabletop. \"She said we had to find her. Her\nwords. And now you say she can't be found? Have you ever gone looking for her?\"\n\"Now young lady, don't get hasty\nand ruin my good furniture. That is what the stories say. If she sent you\nlooking for her, then she must have a reason, unless you have been duped by an\nimposter.\"\n\"I sincerely doubt we have been\nduped.\" But her voice was less sure than it had been.\nEdward was still convinced there\nwas no treachery involved. \"Since meeting her just a few days ago, I have come\nto the conclusion that she is very wise and probably very old. I don't think\nanyone could make that kind of impression on me if they weren't for real.\"\n\"You saw the lady?\" the man asked\nincredulously.\n\"No. We just heard her voice.\"\n\"I see. Well, let me just say that\nI have had dealings with her in years past, and that you will never know it was\nher until after the fact. Be on your guard. I won't say she is dangerous, but\nshe has her own mind and her own methods of doing things. They might run\ncounter to what you think or believe, but in the end, her will is the one that\nwill win out.\"\n\"Really?\" asked Maggie\nskeptically.\"Evidence?\"\nThe man pointed around to the bar.\n\"I never in my life ever expected to own a place like this. And here it has\nbeen going on fifty years, and I'm still running it.\"\n\"You don't look a day past sixty!\"\n\"No I do not. But let's just say\nthat before I became the owner, a full seven ordinary men lived their lives\nunder the roof as caretakers of the tap. I remember each and every one of them\nquite well.\"\n\"And no one has caught on to how\nold you are?\"\n\"None that live. It is good to have\nyour friends about you. But overall, the cover story I have is manageable,\nunless some idiot from some magazine comes looking for something interesting to\nwrite. Normally, a few extra beers and a lot of tall tales makes for a good\nwrite, and they leave before uncovering the truth.\"\n\"I see. So you still think that\nwe'll never find this lady?\"\n\"I cannot honestly say. All I know\nis what I have been told. No one finds her; she finds you.\"\nMaggie dipped back down to her\nphone, still intent on finishing her tasks. That these men were all of The Kind\nwas obvious, and since they meant them no harm, she let Edward deal with them\nin his own way. She had bigger fish to fry. She clicked on the browser and put\nin several permutations of the words the old man had used, since she was unsure\nof the spelling. After a few tries, she stared at the screen before clicking\nher nails on the table. \n\"Edward?\"\nHe turned, attracted by the tone in\nher voice. \n\"What is it?\"\n\"You're a soul eater.\"\n\"What?\"\nAt that very same moment everyone\ngathered around them pulled back.\n\"A soul eater. It makes sense. You\nremoved Robert from his body. You killed him by eating his soul.\"\nThe big blonde, whose English was\npretty good, leaned in carefully, like a man leaning over a pool of sharks.\n\"Robert who?\"\nMaggie shrugged. \"Robert Louis\nStevenson. You know; the guy who wrote about Mr. Hyde.\"\nThe blonde gave her a look that\nspoke volumes. \"Hyde was not to be trifled with. I never had reason to tangle\nwith him, but I know the tales from the war days.\"\nEdward took a pull off of the one\nremaining full glasses of beer on the table. \"Hyde is gone.\"\nEveryone stepped back a little\nfarther. \"Seriously?\"\nEdward was growing disillusioned\nwith this group. First he was hailed as some sort of new leader and then he was\nsuddenly being treated like he was a pariah. \n\"Yes. And yes, I guess I sort of\nabsorbed what made him who he was into myself. I had no idea I could even do\nthat until I tried it. It was the only way to separate him from Hyde.\"\nThe blonde moved in closer. \"So do\nyou control the power, or does the power control you?\"\n\"How can I tell?\"\nThe man put his arm out. \"By\ntouching me. Tune out anything and everything but a simple touch.\"\nEdward did so only with much\ntrepidation. He hardly needed another person down on the ground. He closed his\nmind and touched the man. Nothing happened.\n\"See! Like every other aspect of\nyour essence, you have the ability to choose how and when you use your power.\nTapping something heretofore unused has its risks. I can see why the lady might\nwish for you to find her. You pose a significant danger to yourself and to\nothers.\"\n\"At least there's an upside to it.\nI hardly like the idea that I can remove people from their bodies. That's a\nrather unsettling thing to be able to do.\"\nThe blonde stuck out his hand\nagain. \"My name is Reynaud. And yours?\"\n\"Edward. And this is my wife,\nMaggie. I don't mean to be rude, but how is it that the first place I stop\nhappens to be run by someone akin to what we are? I not only find that to be\nunlikely, it smacks of being a set up.\"\nThe big blonde laughed. \"Have you\nnever heard the saying that like calls to like?\"\n\"I know that all too well.\"\n\"Then what more do you need to\nknow? You arrived here because you were called to us. You will find that\ncoincidences are far less that than they are fortuitous meetings meant to be.\"\n\"Something about this doesn't sit\nwell with me. Are you trying to tell me that everything we do is predestined?\"\nAgain the man laughed. \"Not at all,\nthough the lady can see what is to come, so they say. \"\n\"I haven't had much luck with\nthat.\"\n\"What? You can see the future as\nwell?\"\n\"No so well. It's like everything I\nsee may or may not happen, or may or may not have relevance.\" \n\"Hmmm.\" Reynard rubbed his chin. \"I\nsee. You are still very young. I suppose you might lack the conviction and\nexperience necessary to control what you have available to you. I for one\ncannot see into the future. I would think that would be a ghastly bore to deal\nwith.\"\n\"Bore? Not yet. I haven't seen a\nthing that has been overly helpful to me.\"\n\"Unlike the lady. She is said to\nsee things clearly. But yet, she does little to help or hinder. Your case\ntherefore must be very unusual. Legend has it she stays on the periphery of\nmatters until such time as it demands her attention.\"\n\"About her. Who is she exactly?\"\n\"Exactly? No one can say except for\nher. She is thought of as the eldest of us, even with all of the variations\nthat exist among us.\"\n\"Yes, there does seem to be a lot\nof variety. Maggie has different powers and abilities than I do, and I have\nsome that are beyond her abilities. I have no wings, but she does. Or at least,\nshe did.\"\n\"Wings? She is Kludde?\" \n\"Kludde?\"\n\"You do not know the term? That\nwill change very quickly. Kludde is what we are, this band of brothers. We are\nsomewhat unique, but if your lady has the ability to fly then she is very much\nakin to what we are.\"\nEdward swallowed and looked around\nat all of the eager faces. The emotions here were as rapidly changing as a\nNorth Sea front. \"And what is that?\"\n\"We will show you, but not here and\nnot now. There is a time and a place for everything.\"\n\"I don't understand.\"\n\"But you will.\" He turned to\nMaggie. \"Girl, where do you originate?\"\n\"America,\" was her reply.\n\"That is obvious. I mean, your\nancestry.\"\n\"My father is a Leeds, and my\nmother descended from the tsar's family.\"\n\"A reaffirmation then.\"\n\"A what?\"\n\"I don't know that I can explain it\nto you. It's what you would call genetics.\"\n\"I know what genetics is! What are\nyou saying about me?\"\nThe man sat down. \"I can only tell\nyou in a precursory way. Some traits dilute as they get mixed with plain blood.\nSome traits require two of the same; what do they call it? Oh yes, an allele.\nIt is too complicated for the likes of me to completely understand, but who and\nwhat you are gets passed down. What I wonder is how your parentage could have\nresulted in such a strong combination. The same goes for your male friend here.\nI sense that there is much about him that is very old. Where he managed to get\nthe combination of factors to allow for this is beyond me. \"\nEdward shrugged it off. He was what\nhe was, though truthfully, at the moment he was still left wondering what that\nwas. \"So what of you? What is a Kludde?\"\n\"I told you I will show you later.\nSometimes seeing is a better teacher than mere word of mouth.\"\nThe group of men dispersed to their\nformer seats, allowing Reynard to take them outside and around the corner.\nThere was a little inn which he also owned, and taking them inside, made a\nsweeping gesture. \"It is entirely empty at the moment, so I will make it yours\nuntil such time as you choose to move one.\"\n\"Are you certain?\"\n\"Am I certain? I owe fealty to you now\nas the leader. Consider this a token of my appreciation.\"\nWithout another word and to avoid\nan argument, he left, closing the door to the place behind him. It was old,\nwith rough hewn timbers aged dark with the accumulation of lamp soot and grimy\nhands. But despite this feeling of decrepitude, the place was clean and smelled\nas fresh as any modern hotel.\n\"I'm not sure I like this idea,\" he\nsaid to no one in particular.\n\"Why?\"\nHe started out of his thoughts.\n\"This feels like a set up.\"\n\"I know what you mean. I had no\nidea what we were going to be getting into when I told you to pull over. I just\nfelt the urge to have a talk with you. You've been a little morose since we\nleft Amsterdam.\"\n\"I know, but the funny thing is, I\nfeel a little better about it now, though I detest being referred to as a soul\neater. I have no desire to go around sucking people from their bodies.\"\n\"I should hope not. But you are\nwhat you are. And I am what I am. We can't make the same mistake Robert did by\ntrying to be something we 're not.\"\n\"Yeah, I know. I just wish I knew a\nlittle more about where we're headed in all of this. I mean, Kludde - what the\nhell is a Kludde?\"\nShe held up her phone. \"They have\nwi-fi. Shall I look it up?\"\n\"No. I think that if he feels a\ndemonstration is in order, then we will allow him to show us.\"\n\"As you wish. As for me, I think\nthat a little rest is warranted, unless of course, you have something else\nplanned that requires the bed.\" She let her suggestion trail off.\nHe felt a rise in his groin. \"You\nknow, maybe I do.\"\nThey had their pick of rooms, and\nchose one on the second floor, overlooking the street. The sheets were as white\nas snow, and the feather pillows top of the line. Unless he had a lot fo guests\nstaying here, he went to an awful lot of trouble making this place comfortable\nfor the two of them. Maggie too had to pull her mind from the possibility that\nthis was some sort of trick. She just couldn't see any point in someone trying\nto pull something over on them.\nEdward undressed, feeling strangely\nout of place here. He was driving an old car, wearing old clothing, and was now\nstaying in a building that might very well date back hundreds of years. IT was\na sort of time travel, and he wasn't feeling all too settled about it.\nMaggie could sense his mild dismay,\nbut not the cause. The building was old, but the room was as nice as a person\ncould ask for. She thought about touching his arm, but was overcome with an\nunreasonable fear. She wanted no part of getting sucked into his body. It was\nhis job to invade hers...\n\"Husband?\"\nHe twisted up his face in a smile. \"Wife?\"\n\"It'll be alright.\"\n\"I hope so. I don't like feeling\nlike I'm not in control. It seems every time something new happens, I go off\nthe deep end.\"\n\"Yeah, I've noticed that about you.\nGood thing you have me around. Would you like to practice your soul sucking on\nme?\"\n\"No!\"\n\"Then how about something more physical\nand pleasurable? It's been a while since we had any real time alone.\"\n\"I agree. Let's just forget about\neverything and think about ourselves.\"\nHe emptied his pants pockets on the\nold nightstand and crawled into the bed. She followed, sticking with her more\nmature appearing body. He had voiced no negativity towards her maturing facade,\nknowing all too well that the person within remained the same. She might never\nhave Verona's attributes, but she had every intention of honing her own.\nHer hair was much longer now,\nhaving grown out to the point that she had taken to tying it back. Her breasts\nhad grown to a more respectable size while her crotch has erupted with a carpet\non fine soft fur. Not hair, but genuine fur. She didn't know if this was normal\nor if it were the result of her own mind playing tricks with her body, but she\nloved it regardless.\nSo did he. His cock was hard before\nhe hit the bed. When he tried, he found he could drive nearly everything but\nthe present from his mind. He had a clear slate upon which to work, and he\nintended to fill it with memories meant to last a lifetime.\nHis touch brought forth just a lit\nnervousness from her which dissipated when nothing  bad happened. She was careful too to keep her\nmind out of the present equation. Minds were wonderful, but there were times\nwhen they just got in the way.\nHe pulled her down, kissing her\npassionately. She sprouted pointy ears and a bushy tail, but he didn't even\nnotice. All he could sense was the warm passion coming through from her lips as\nshe pressed her face into his.\nShe wasn't being forceful, but she\nfound herself in a hurry to get going. She had hardly realized how much pent up\nenergy she had after their stressful voyage on the open sea. During that time\nthey had only had one real night together. The rest was spent watching and\nworrying.\nShe sat up, breaking their\nconnection, grabbed his cock and guided it between her legs. He could feel her\ntail slapping back and forth across his knees as she happily took him in. She\nsighed as she settled down slowly, making herself as tight as was practically possible,\nforcing him to part her insides like it was the first time. It was a trick she\nknew he loved, and it was one she intended to not overuse. From what she had\ngathered, they might very well be stuck with each other for a very long time. There\nwas no sense in using up her arsenal of ploys too quickly. On the other hand,\ntime meant that she was going to be able to learn a few now things along the\nway.\nWhat fun!\nAs she leaned back down he grabbed\nher ears gently and returned to kissing her. \"He broke off for a moment to gaze\ninto her eyes. \"So Mrs. Peterson. DO we consider this our honeymoon?\"\n\"I suppose we could. But you know\nhow our kind reacts to the moon!\"\n\"I do.\"\n\"I do too.\"\n\"IS that a matter of vows or a\nmatter of understanding?\"\n\"Perhaps it is both. You will have\nme, won't you?\"\n\"You have no idea how much I want\nyou. In all of my unsurety; all of my mishaps and misadventures, you have been\nthe one thing that has held me together.\"\n\"So then, you aren't angry at all\nthe things that have happened because you have met me?\"\nHe pulled her down, reveling in the\nfeel of her sharp nipples burrowing into his chest. \"Oh, I'm angry, and I'm\nhappy, I'm smarter and more stupid than before, I have never wanted adventure\nmore and yet have never been more homesick than I am now. I have never felt\nmore alive despite being nearly dead more than a few times. Knowing you has\nshown me want living ia all about. I may be one hell of a mess inside, but I\ncan never go back to being what I was, and I don't think I really want to.\"\nHis words struck her with such a\nforce that her body reacted in a most intimate and sensual way. Without warning\nshe tightened up in an orgasm and gasped just before biting down on his chest.\nHer hips were late to the party, but they began making up lost time by rapidly\nrocking back and forth with as much power as they could muster. A normal man\nwould have howled in pain.\nEdward howled with pleasure as she\nworked him over.\nShe collapsed few minutes later,\npanting so much her tongue had rolled out. HE suppressed a smile\n\"It has been a while hasn't it?\"\n\"God yes! Sorry about that.\"\n\"Sorry for what? I take no offense\nwhere none should be taken. However, I hope you know that just because you got\noff first doesn't mean were done.\"\nShe blinked her eyes fetchingly. \"I\nsure as hell hope not!\"\nHe could feel her giving him a very\npersonal squeeze. His response was to thrust in deeper. He reached down and grabbed\nthe base of her tail with one hand while the other found and rubbed her anus.\nShe licked his face ever more rapidly as his finger played with her back door.\nThey hadn't done a lot of anal play, but she was getting to like all sorts of\nthings. It he could just keep his persona under control things might go well.\nThe fact was, he had managed to\nsuppress everything but who he was at the moment. Essentially, he was back to\nbeing who he was to begin with, leastwise, before he had undergone his change.\nHe was just a simple, happy, sexually aroused man with an equally aroused\nfemale. In that, there were no limits to what they could do.\nShe let him work her for a while,\nrelaxing to allow herself to loosen up. She might be tough, but she knew she\nhad limitations. Having healed from his exuberance in the past, a little\npreparation went a long ways in avoiding a repeat misadventure.\nWhen she felt sufficiently\nprepared, she sat up again, slipped off his cock and guided him to her back\nhole. With a sigh, she impaled herself and relaxed as his length slid past her\nsphincter. It was a pleasurable feeling, but one distinctly different from her\ncunt. It lit an entirely separate set of nerve ending on fire, and it was a\nfire she didn't want put out too soon.\nEdward groaned as his cock went\nfrom one exquisite hole to another. HE let her do the moving, knowing his\npropensity for getting a little out of hand. She dropped down until her tail\nwas resting on the bed, and then, with a fluid motion, rose against until she\nwas nearly off. At the last second she dropped back down again.\nHe opened his eyes when she\nstopped. She was grinning impishly at him.\n\"You know, I could get to like this\nplace. The more I'm here, the more homey it feels. It's nice to be able to\nrelax and enjoy each other for a change.\"\nShe punctuated her statement with a\nlittle tight-assed pull on his cock.\n\"This place does seem to grow on a\nperson, doesn't it?\"\n\"Yeah. Can we stay a few days at\nleast?\"\n\"I don't see why not.\"\nShe leaned down and ran her tongue\nover his nipples. Then she sat back up and grabbed his hands, placed them on\nher own. \n\"Do you like?\"\n\"Very mush so.\"\n\"They aren't Verona's\"\n\"No they're not.\"\nShe felt a twinge of jealousy.\n\"No?\"\n\"No. Her's were her's and your's\nare perfect.\"\nShe felt a tear come to her eye. \"Are\nyou trying to seduce me?\"\nHis mouth twisted up in a grin. \"A\nlittle late to ask that, isn't it?\"\nShe kissed him again. \"Maybe. How\nmuch stamina so you have in you?\"\n\"Probably as much as you have cock\nin you right now.\"\n\"Then it looks like it's going to\nbe a great evening!\""}
