A little poem I did back in college years ago.
Over a small crush I had with a girl.

Night unwraps,  
Darkness our new enemy,  
Protection from the world,  
As I wrap her around my wings,  
Growling amongst evil.

By the door we stand,  
Thunder and rain pouring,  
Tips her feet,  
Our lips meet,  
Catching me off my feet,  
Holding her gently,  
Our eyes burning,  
A smile grew in me,  
Departing slowly,  
Locked away in a dream.
