Freeform poem I just wrote. It came with many tears.

What do you make of a broken family?

A motherless home.  
Incompletion, separation, angst and longing.

Wonder, where is she?   
Did I miss her? Yes.  
Was she here? Only for a little.

To not have you in my life,   
I cry. Please just come home.  
And stay.

Having peace of mind, to a mother returned. If just a little.  
No wondering when you'll be next.  
If you're alright out there?  
No more, how do I find you.

I want to hold your hand again.  
To feel your love, and know that things will be alright.

Why did you leave?  
Why were we- was I, not important enough to keep you?  
Is my love not good enough?  
Am I not good enough?

I need a mom and dad in my life, to be complete, and with you not here, I can never be whole.

Wherever you are, whatever you do, just know, your boy still cries over you.
