Within the room, the comforts of her warm bed were enough to keep the young one fast asleep, drifting her away within deep dreams. Her body was lying down on top of the sheets, snuggled into the bed with content.\n\nThe sound of a creeping door broke the peace and quiet. A wet nose poking out from the door crack as it sniffed the air. More and more did the nose come out... the door opening wide open. Standing in its path is the wolf's little brother. The early sunlight shining some into his fur that glowed a bit of his color. He tilted his head up to hearing the snores of his sister.  \n  \n**(Pup)** owo ...  \n.w.  \n  \nTurning around, lying at his footpaws, was a little cupcake with a lit candle. With a little grunt, he picked up the treat... and walked on over to the sleepy wolf. Reaching the foot of the bed, he raised up the cupcake with all his strength, and tried to wake her up.  \n  \n**(Pup)** \\*Whispers\\* \"Sister...\" owo  \n  \nThe wolf grumbled in her sleep... and flips onto her back, nuzzling into the bed.\n\n\u0026nbsp;**(Pup)** owo ... .w.   \no:  \n\\*A bit louder\\* \"Sister.\" O:  \n  \nThe only response from her was her breathing.  \n  \n**(Pup)**... \\\u003e:I  \nHe tilted his maw up, and yelled at the top of his lungs.  \n\"SISTER!!\" DX  \n  \nThe wolf jerked back onto her tummy... panting wildly as she woke up violently, looking all over as fear consumed her. She took a few breaths... and calmed herself down. And looked down at the floor.  \n  \n**(Wolf)** OWO;; ... owo;;  \n  \n**(Pup)** D: o: ...  \n\"Hi.\" :3 \\\u003c3  \n  \n**(Wolf)**.w.  \n\\\u003e:I  \n  \n**(Pup)**\"Haaaaaaaaappy Birthdaaaaaaaay\" :D \\\u003c3   \nHe thumped his tail all over as he raised the cupcake near her face.  \n  \n**(Wolf)** :I ... -w-\n\nShe groans softly as she flopped her whole body back on the bed... her muzzle hanging over the edge.  \n  \n**(Pup)** :3   \n\"You need to blow out the candles for your special day!!\" ^^  \n  \nShe shakes her head in refusal   \n  \n**(Wolf)** =w=  \n  \n**(Pup)** o:  \n\"... But you gotta!!\" D:  \n\"Otherwise, the candle might melt on puppy.\" owo  \n  \n**(Wolf)** owo  \n... .w.  \nShe took a puff of air into her cheeks, and blew out the flicker of warmth.  \n  \nThe pup looked at the smoke with a happy squeak...  \nGently placing the cupcake down as he clapped his paws with joy.  \nHe carefully takes the candle out with one paw... and brings the cupcake near her lips.\n\n\u0026nbsp;**(Wolf)** OWO  \nShe nommed it down with one bite, the crumbs spilling all over as she chumped away at it.   \n\\\u003eW\\\u003c  \n  \nThe puppy jumped back with surprise.   \n  \n**(Pup)** OWO;; ... owo o:  \n  \nThe wolf leaned into her brother, and gives his cheek a lick.  \n  \n**(Wolf)** owo \\\u003c3  \n  \n**(Pup)** 8D   \nHe giggled softly as he placed the cool candle down, and hugged his sister's maw... panting happy- x3 \\\u003c3  \n  \nThe wolf nuzzled into her brother's chest... grinning ear to ear as she started off her day with a nice treat \\\u003c3\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Original Writing","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/888904-drifting.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/906004-our-night.json"}}
