poem about fear of thunder

i see the clouds rolling over the horizon, i smell the humidity in the air  
i say the storms coming and i shiver  
others ask "why do i care?"  
the clouds get dark, the sunlight begins to fade  
still i keep up the facade  
the wind begins to pick up, and my nerves begin to scream  
i wish you were here to keep me calm  
i reach for a hand but it jerks another way, a funny look and some one else walks away  
the clouds are now over head but no one seems to care  
i swallow my pride and keeps going, soon the wind gets cold  
and i begin to feel not so bold  
i keep walking when it happens, a loud sound  
the thunder clap.  
i jump and shout and begin to panic  
the secret is out  
im afraid of thunder and no one cares  
i wish you was here, to hold me close  
i wish you was hear to keep me calm and safe  
when the thunder sounds, i whimper and pout.   
it keeps up and i begin to cry, soon my pants are drenced  
and i cant look any one in the eye.
