# Fur-iday night lights... Author: Jiblits Tags: Poem, Poetry, Short-story, slice of life A hopeful thought full of heart-felt learning taken half-way To the darkest of nights, the lighting nowhere to be found To the fearful noises, & shadows about, not making a sound I give in enough to remain sane before what happens takes place My imagination always on, my common sense forever giving chase ... Ready for what's to come or not, an ending expected is enough To want the best, is without doubt, to get the worst, tough... Either way, before and after each day, life, chance, fate, all will sway Upon the choices made, & our reasons coming to be I look toward the in between of it all, what we know for now, what we can see =] Mythic or legendary being told in tales ever-changing of times we'd like to believe were somewhat true I turn down no option for the future, as amazing as it could, should, would, & may not turn out, it is time, & time is said to be a virtue.  Said to be an illusion & a must for everything that's known It seems life is by it's own right, a fantasy of sorts, one were each differently shown Stride on Give no grip to something light as air Learn to be in symmetry with opinions that can be one-sidedly fair Words of wisdom?... maybe not, but that's okay =p I shared something already known, just somewhat re-reasoned in my own way =] ---Thanks for Reading--- ---Always--- Source: https://sofurry.com/s/k1VdJzbm
