{"sf1_id":931457,"sf2_id":null,"title":"Freeverse Poetry I","author":"EmoCat","words":370,"posted_at":"2015-11-07T22:39:00.000Z","tags":["Emotional","Poetry"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/931457-freeverse-poetry-i","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/931457","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=931457\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"Some verses of poetry, created in the shadow of a bad mood.","content":"the metal is tiny\n\nto hold it in your fist is to risk cuts before you are ready\n\nbut to hold it out is to risk discovery\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nstatic breaks apart\n\neverything will break and there is nothing that will stay\n\nif only we could stay, one more day, i have finally found my buoy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\na sigh strains from the mouth like water from a sponge\n\nlife drains like water from a mop, wiped away on each point of contact\n\nsoul refrains from showing itself and it is scratched away from inside.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\ndiscolouration is common on my vessel\n\ndull patches here and there from scrapes\n\nand then the lines which will never fade\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nmy teenage feelings?\n\nit feels like i have grown before i am grown\n\nand there is no counter to how it has left me\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nthis raccoon is more deserving of life than this filthy cat\n\npull blood from me, it would not matter\n\ni would gladly donate to a worthy cause\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nwhat makes us scared is what gives us chance\n\nfaint on the sight of blood, fainting cannot be without blood\n\nwithout blood there is darkness and this cannot be undone\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\ncough, cough\n\na little jump and quick paws\n\nbam! and the cat is gone\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\neverything is suicide but most choose not to see it that way\n\nmost suicide can be countered: drinking water is countered by releasing water\n\nwater intoxication is a suicide attempt\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n7 hours per fortnight, for 600 fortnights\n\nwe learned how to deconstruct novels to find the 'hidden meaning' supposedly\n\nexactly what educational benefit was gained?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nall that matters is what is done towards the future\n\npeople do not forgive mistakes made but they should learn to\n\nbecause those mistakes can be keeping people up at night.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nmore life, because it has to happen\n\nmore blood, because the body makes it\n\nmore time, because that's what's needed\n\nto find the reason that i still sit in this chair\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\ntomorrow will be dangerous\n\nforecast says: high risk of suicidal thoughts\n\nX% chance of making it to work alive\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nit is cold, i am cold\n\n\"going to bed soon?\"\n\neh. i cough again.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
