Was this an out-of-body experience? I tried to lay down into my body, mimicking the position I had left it in, but it was no use. I couldn't return to my body. I guess I really was dead. Then I heard a knock on my door.

"Who is it", I said.

"It's me honey", a familiar voice said.

"Tim?!", I said. I couldn't believe I was hearing his voice again.

"Yep it's me. I've come to take you to the afterlife", he said.

I gasped. Was this really happening? I opened the door and there he was, my handsome Tim. I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug and said, "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too honey. I'm glad you kept your promise and didn't kill yourself, but I can't help but be sad that you're dead too", he said, with a mournful expression on his face.

"I know and I'm still sad that you're dead, but there's a silver lining to all this. We're finally reunited", I said.

"That's true", he said. He kissed me on the muzzle and then a wooden door appeared.

"That's the gateway to the afterlife", he said. We held paws and walked through the door together.

When we got to the other side we were in a living room with a green couch, an old TV and a silver boombox..

"This is my house. Everyone gets one in the afterlife", he said.

"Cool", I said. Tim then turned on the boombox and pressed play on the tape deck. The song that played was "Heaven" by Warrant.

"How fitting", I said.

"This is our song, remember?", Tim said.

"Of course I do", I said.

I then laid down on the couch and asked, "Wanna cuddle? I've been waiting so long to do that with you again."

"Sure thing handsome foxy", he said. We then cuddled together on the couch. This is going to be a great eternity.

The End

"}
