There were other forms out there, but I am only a beginner on poetry so I don't feel ready to do those kinds of forms.","content":"cinquain form  \nWhen you flatten, you're like a boss  \nor when you mold someone into something more  \nI take pleasure as I spy  \nThough you can be scary, I want to cry  \nbut I won't, lest I be a mat upon your floor  \n  \n  \nAn attempt at a sonnet  \nWhen you put on your fierce face  \nall know to scatter to get some place safe  \nWhen they scatter, it's like a race  \nEven if they experienced a bad chafe  \nYour hammer swings without hesitation  \nthough it seems it's heavy, you act as if it were light  \nOh how it slams down without resignation  \non those you want to smite  \nThough you mold them, it's a fate  \nI do find grim  \nWorse than the word exterminate  \neven if it is your whim.  \nAs you get closer to me, I cannot flee  \nI see you dropped a safe on me  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nRondeau form  \nWhen you're angry, we go and run  \nBecause we know there weren't be fun  \nYour mighty hammer will slam down  \nYou make everyone scatter around town  \nEven those who were getting things done.  \n  \nWhen you take the ones you've flattened  \nYou sometimes stuff them 'til their fattened  \nAnd use them as a cushion for your bum  \nWhen you're angry.  \n  \nIt fills us with dread, and we look up  \nTo see if something's upon us, you pup  \nTo avoid anything falling on us  \nNo tanks can stop your mighty fuss  \nWhen you're angry.  \n  \n  \nTanka Form  \nWe run when you're mad  \nWe fear your mighty hammer  \nThough you are so cute  \nYou are like a baby pup  \nIt's best to keep our guard up  \n  \n  \nAbecedarian Form  \nAdmittedly, you are scarey  \nBut your demeanor says otherwise,  \nCreating an unsuspecting air about you  \nDoing nothing more than acting silly  \nExterminating any suspiciousness  \nFooling everyone that you're not up to anything  \nGrunts are unheard from you as you squash them down  \nHowever tall or short they be  \nIce cream shops get new toppings  \nJello with flabbergasted expressions inside of them are now on stock  \nKids look to you for inspiration  \nLearning of your ways to fool the rest  \nMothers are those fooled most by you  \nNothing can stop you once you're mad  \nOh joy! The tanks are here!  \nPeople who know you know the tanks are doomed  \nQuietly, people try to sneak by  \nRunning seems to be no good  \nStores are empty  \nToy shops have new toys  \nUnderneath your cuteness lies a prankster  \nViewing who will be your next target  \nwaiting  \nyearning to have more fun  \nzest waiting to be added to the day.  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/939187-a-poem-nightmares.json"}}
