# A fur at freddy's: Christmas nightmare (part 4) Author: nitro_wolf Tags: Fear, Fox, bully, friend, nightmare, person, puppet #5 of A fur at Freddy's: Christmas Nightmare! I keep forgetting Richard's name "Where the heck did the puppet come from?" I asked myself "and why didn't I dream him up before?" I ran to the door that it sounded like he went to, a flick of mt flashlight confirmed he was there and I slammed my door.  The sound of shuffling footsteps indicated that he left the left door, I ran back to the middle of my room, only to have to run to the right door and slam it shut.  It became a loop, going from left to right and closing the door, but my loop was interrupted when a deep laugh made me jump... I knew that meant he was in the closet or on the bed, I spun around and flicked on my flashlight and he wasn't there. I ran to my closet and closed the door, the lights flickered  and I heard the footsteps again, I followed the sound and shut the doors as needed. "Again with the laughter?!" I asked as I spun around... Before I could turn on the flashlight, a deep scream... Almost a roar sounded and the puppets face was no more than a foot from my face. I jumped back and found myself in the real world, in my bed but pressed against the headboard... I was shaking, sweating and had goose-bumps everywhere, making my fur stand on end. That day, at lunch: Richard came to me, he said "you look tired and on-edge" I yawned, tilting my head down so he wont see down my throat. I said "I had a nightmare and didn't sleep to well because of that" "what was the nightmare like?" he asked. "basically" I said "a **monster** was chasing me around my house" my ear twitched as I looked down in embarrassment. "Yeah, thats the worst" he said "makes ya **think** that something could be in your house" No longer embarrassed, I looked at him normally and said "at least someone understands" He gestured for me to follow him down the hall, I did. He asked "so, what do you want to do?" "well... Its too cold for you to want to go outside" I said "and there is _nothing_ that we can do in the gym" "They got ice cream in the cafeteria" he said as he turned to go the cafeteria. "I got money... do you?" I asked He nodded. Some **beast** of a tenth grader stopped us and demanded "GIVE ME YOUR ICE CREAM MONEY! I looked at him with a straight face, Robert was terrified.  The bully said "NOW!" as he swung a punch at Robert. I reached out and grabbed the guys arm, mid-punch... That stopped his fist only inches from Robert's face. "how the fuck did you stop that?" he asked as he put his arm to his side. "language!" I said as I pushed past him "I just know how to" he nodded. The three of us all bought ice cream, I ended-up confessing something to Robert that I didn't expect to say yet... I said "you know... I've never been friends with a person" "And I've never been friends with a fox" Said Robert. The bully said "me neither " I turned to face the bully, I asked "Whats your name?" He sighed "my name" he said "is Billy" That was the best day of my life yet... Hopefully a nightmare wont ruin it.
