A letter to the furs like me who long for connection and understanding. I know I longed to know that I wasn't alone in this big world of ours. If I could I would tell you it's alright in your time of need. I know i needed to hear that.

I'm so sorry.  I should have been there for you.  I should have comforted you.  I would have been the person you needed me to be.  I would have given you everything I never had.  But I wasn't ready.  I wasn't prepared to love another.  I was dealing with myself.  I was my own worst enemy.  I'm so sorry I let you down.  I think I could have helped you.  If only I was not so self-absorbed.  You and I, I think we're alike.  Whatever we are, we are one and the same.  Sometimes it's so beautiful, other times it's a tragedy.  It's unfortunate that I can't pull myself together in time.
