This is another piece of flash fiction I wrote in my university fiction class. Its short, but I like it better than that other story I posted as a journal, so I'm putting it here!

Hey,

I don't know why I'm telling you this. I mean shit, I got a mom, right? I got Emily, Jacob, Seth, and all them, but I'm telling you. Ironic, ain't it? Well, not much point keeping from the big news. I'm dead now. I know; sudden, unexpected, you never seen it coming from a guy like me. Don't beat yourself up about it. I'm happy, really, I am. That's why I came here. That's why I'm sending this to you.

So, the picture. That balcony I'm looking off? Stayed there one night when I was hitchhiking to Mount Rokko and had tea with this adorable old Korean couple. I couldn't catch a lick of what they were saying, and probably vice versa. We had a good time, though. Big game of charades. They invited me to stay the night. I couldn't help coming back for this picture

Fucking beautiful picture. Be careful with it. Only shot of it in the world. I deleted it from my camera after I got it printed. I mean, there's probably some other picture of the same area. But you'll never find this scene ever again, especially not after I'm dead. Japanese are all paranoid about places people died - bet they'll change the whole thing up. That means that this right here, the photograph on the back of this postcard, it's special, unique.

You know, fuck it. Go ahead and do what you want with the thing. It's not like I'll be around to stop you. Don't you think it'd be a kinda funny justice for you to tear it up?
