He sighed as he slowly started\nto make his way towards the front of the line. He adjusted his black\njacket and ran a paw through his hair, knocking off his hood. He\neventually made it to the front and smiled at the woman behind the\ncounter.\n\"How can I help?\" The vulpine\ngreeted him with a warm smile. Shane rubbed the bottom of his chin and\nlooked up at the menu of films sprawled above the counter. Before he\ncould say anything, he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned\nhis head, only to notice an Australian Shepherd standing behind him,\nbiting his muzzle.\nHe was a little taller than the\nbear, and appeared to be older than him aswell. His fur was gray, and\nspotted with black and orange. The shepherd adjusted his sweatshirt\nand smiled at Shane, \"W-Which movie are you gonna see?\" He asked,\nin a timid tone.\n\"I'm not sure, honestly,\" Shane\nresponded, smiling warmly at the taller anthro, \"Just thought I'd\nuse my day off to see whatever crap is on at the movies lately...\"\n\"T-There's a rom-com called; 'A\nMillion Ways', but I'm not sure what it's about...\" The shepherd\nchuckled nervously, \"Name's Eli by the way.\"\n\"Shane,\" The bear shook his\npaw and turned around to face the vulpine at the counter, \"Two\ntickets for 'A Million Ways'.\" He handed the woman some money. The\nvulpine took the money and handed the bear two tickets.\nHe glanced back at Eli with a\ngrin, \"Consider it a date, huh?\" Eli blushed heavily and nodded\nas Shane turned back around.\n\"Any food, drinks?\" The woman\nasked, her ears perking as Eli came out from around the bear and\nhanded her some money.\n\"Big popcorn! Oh! And two\ndrinks too!\" His tail wagged. Shane watched him with a grin as Eli\nwas given the food. Shane thanked the woman and ruffled the\nshepherd's hair.\nThey wandered into the theatre,\neventually finding their seats near the back. Shane took the popcorn\nand drinks out of Eli's paws and rested the drinks in the cup-holders\ninstalled in their seats, and the popcorn on his lap. \n\nEli's eyes were drawn to Shane,\nwho was staring at the blank screen with a warm smile on his face.\nEli bit his lip and looked down, catching the attention of the bear,\n\"You alright?\" Shane asked.\n\"Yeah, fine,\" Eli responded,\nlooking back up at the bear, \"Just...thanks. For this. I don't\nusually get to hang out with any other people...heh...\"\n\"No problem, Eli.\" Shane\nshrugged. The movie started shortly after their conversation ending,\nplunging the theatre into almost complete silence. Shane made himself\ncomfortable in his seat, while Eli shuffled closer to him.\nAbout ten minutes into the movie,\nEli couldn't keep his eyes off the other. Shane took a sip from his\ndrink and glanced at Eli, \"Popcorn?\" Eli nodded and thanked the\nbear as he was given the popcorn.\nEli ate some of the popcorn,\nbefore resting it on the floor in front of him. He grinned and slowly\npushed him the arm-rest separating himself and Shane. Shane glanced\nat him with a confused look before their lips met.\nEli pulled away, giggling cutely,\n\"As I said. Thanks.\" Shane stared at him, his face flushed pure\nred. Eli scooched closer, so that they were touching, and hugged him\ntightly, resting his head on the bear's chest. He sighed softly and\nstared at the screen, while Shane was looking down at him.\nShane pet him on the head and\nstroked his shoulder, kissing him on the forehead and hugging him\ntightly. Eli nipped Shane's paw and giggled as the bear retracted it,\nrubbing it a little as if he was hurt.\nEli grinned wider and closed his\neyes, eventually slipping into sleep."}
