I'm also taking a \"Monsters in Literature\" course at the moment, so that may have been some inspiration.\nI hope all who reads this enjoys my attempt at stringing a simple narrative in this well-known form of poetry.","content":"# Never Endeavor\n\n**By Keskron**\n\nEndeavor not the moon that glares above.\n\nDo not walk into spectral woods unplanned.\n\nhis haunt is there, he'll take you where\n\nsharp shadows loom, macabre and grand.\n\nBecause of this, I warn you now to keep\n\nyour children safe, your flock secure from harm.\n\nDon't taunt his nose, for he likes those\n\nthat smell of concern and alarm.\n\nBut please, don't think it wrong of him to hunt.\n\nHe's just like you, or me, a hungry one\n\nwhose life departed, coal-black hearted,\n\naccursed from heaven's light: the sun.\n\nSo please, tell everyone you know and love\n\nthat there is nothing much to see or fear.\n\nFor he is kind enough, at least.\n\nNow bow your head and let me feast.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
