Bueno \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \nActions speak louder than words is something I didn’t used to fully believe\u0026nbsp;  \nFelt too simplistic for my liking\u0026nbsp;  \nBut actions definitely speak louder nowadays  \nAs the truth has become so much harder to discern\u0026nbsp;  \nWhen those we gave power to no longer feel the need to cover up their lies  \nEmboldened to the point they tell them freely and without consequence\u0026nbsp;  \nBarely bothering to hold their tongues or even rage against those they despise  \nInstead bothered by every time they’re questioned or challenged in any way\u0026nbsp;  \nTheir contempt for supposed opposition is blatantly clear\u0026nbsp;  \nBut they’re so comfortable spinning it so they’re the ones we must hear  \nAnd trust them that they’re doing their best to keep all our interests in heart\u0026nbsp;  \nWhile they threaten and call for violence against those who won’t bend\u0026nbsp;  \nOr those who instead of falling in line choose to stand apart\u0026nbsp;  \nThey expect us to be content as they test and break every rule they wish\u0026nbsp;  \nUsing the status quo to their advantage  \nIn ways it doesn’t feel like we’ve seen before\u0026nbsp;  \nOf course that’s contentious but at this point semantics shouldn’t matter\u0026nbsp;  \nWhen they keep pushing and pushing in their attempts to gain even more\u0026nbsp;  \nThe ones who think they deserve to be unquestionably on top of the world\u0026nbsp;  \nAnd ignore the widening gaps\u0026nbsp;  \nTo make it seem like we’d be there too if we were better or just tried  \nBut really it seems like they’d rather the less privileged of us up and died\u0026nbsp;  \nAnd I wish that some type of alternative to all that was true  \nBut with all the mixed up messages and the effects of their ill thought out actions  \nI couldn’t in good conscience say that though they’ll keep saying\u0026nbsp;  \nWhat they’re doing is best for the country and me and you\u0026nbsp;  \nBut in a country many people no longer want to come to with all its dangers  \nAll the misinformation and betrayals of trust and faith, the bullying threats\u0026nbsp;  \nAnd the indefinite holdings and the tragic, brutal deaths\u0026nbsp;  \nWhat trust is left unbroken at this point and what good faith and dignity are left  \nI’m not sure anymore but I know I’ll try to live by what I believe to be true\u0026nbsp;  \nIn contrast against people who will say and do anything\u0026nbsp;  \nTo justify the cruelty they or others on their behalf do\u0026nbsp;  \nThe despicable acts they hide and let slide\u0026nbsp;  \nNo wonder they want us to believe so hard what they say is or isn’t true\u0026nbsp;  \nBut regardless of what they want there are still facts and the truth out there\u0026nbsp;  \nSo while waiting for those to win through and goodness to eventually win  \nWe’ve got to do what we can and endure  \nAnd hope the dawning of better days will once again begin\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;  \nFor pain and lies and emboldened tyranny can’t and won’t always be in store  \nWhat we can’t do is give too deeply into despair\u0026nbsp;  \nOr fall for or give leeway to their detestable trickery\u0026nbsp;"}
