Maggie Pawsley

Name: Maggie Pawsley

Species: Mountain Lion

Gender: Female

Age: 32 Years

Sexuality: Bisexual

Family: Daughter of Arthur Pawsley

Relationships: Formerly with Hank Montane, Now getting back together with Tiffany Clawhauser

Maggie grew up with a father who worked in a library and a mother that died when she was very young from ovarian cancer. It was enough that Maggie decided she never wanted children and as she grew more her confused feelings regarding her sexuality meant that she often found it hard to talk to her father who tended to never take time off work and after school shed have to go to where he was working in the library. She was not an A student however and she started to find that despite being a puma, which are supposed to be great climbers and very athletic, Maggie was considered too slow and though she was not by any standards, her mind became fixated that the issue was her weight. Through her teenage years Maggie suffered anorexia and though her physicality dropped her grades improved and she conflated the two, which was not the case at all. She ended up going to hospital because she was so thin and going to regular meetings to help before being attached to a psychiatrist to talk about her issues and where she was finding herself lost under the pressure at school, the pressure of television and the general problems in growing up. Thankfully, she did well through her therapy and her work and though she has sunken in features and issues that mean she's not able to have children at all and she can't put on weight easily, Maggie is actually happier with herself.

She thinks most of it was because she ended up finding somewhere that she could sit and have shakes without odd eyes. She found the Bakery and Cafe of Tiffany Clawhauser, a cheetah who was quick to make friends with her and making a serious friend that supported her helped Maggie even more. In fact, Maggie and Tiffany realised they had an attraction and so got together, but when Maggie's father introduced her to the son of a friend, Hank Montane, Maggie found herself falling under the pressure to make her father happy and she broke up with Tiffany. Tiffany was going through a thing with the death of her father from an undiagnosed heart condition and so both of them were not able to give each other the time and so Maggie ended up starting a relationship with Hank. In fact, she moved into his place and things were going really well with Hank making all the notes he was aiming for an engagement.

Maggie was able to get a great job working as secretary to the Cat Council, a full time position where she needed to handle the communications and press releases and also working as an assistant to the presidential post, which was of course a part-time position taken by Milton Lynxley. But just as Maggie was doing well and starting to earn more money that Hank, who was a climbing instructor, cracks began to appear in their relationship, especially when she realised that Hank was of the opinion their relationship was open. So, as our story begins not only is Maggie having to deal with the fall out from Milton's arrest but going to do something she's feeling very nervous about living on her own in a Zootopia apartment and reigniting her relationship with giddy cheetah Tiffany.

It would be hard for anyone, but Maggie knows, she is stronger and more capable than anyone believes and she's managed to fight through the worst before surely this couldn't be worse surely.

_I doodled her on paper first then decided to draw on Paint but I'm not very good at drawing at the best of times. Still yes, she's supposed to looked sunken in and weaker, that's part of her history of being anorexic. I had been thinking about this character for a long time and a lot of things I wanted to work on and well, this ball of chaos just felt like the best place for it. I hope you will understand and don't mind her. Actually, when I made Maggie I was learning about my own eating disorders so forgive me if she becomes the main character more than might seem. _
