Our First Year Chapter 5
#5 of Our First Year
Here's chapter 5 of Our First Year! Hope you furs enjoy! It's a bit long but there was a lot of info I had to add ;) y'all have a good one!
Shawn and Jake got in Shawn's car and drove back to the dorms. When they finally got home, it was about 10 at night. Jake walked in first. He sat down on the bed and stared at the floor.
"Shawn, are you tired?"
"Nah, not really. Why? Are you?"
"No."
"Well, there's only one thing to do!"
Jake looked very confused.
"What?"
Shawn grabbed his laptop from his desk, walked over to Jake's bed and laid down behind him.
"Netflix and chill!"
Jake laughed so hard he snorted.
"That sounds very nice. What do you want to watch?"
"Let's watch... Downwind Lake."
"What's that about?"
"It's a scary movie about a family in a house out in the woods."
"Oh... a single family alone in the woods... that sounds safe."
"You'll see what I mean when we watch it."
Shawn opened his laptop and opened Netflix. He played Downwind Lake. Approximately twenty minutes into the movie, Jake was wrapped around Shawn.
"Why would anyone want to watch this movie? It's the creepiest thing ever!"
"Yeah, it was rated the number one scariest scary movie of all time."
"You don't seem scared."
"I don't scare easily..."
As Shawn finished his sentence, a mask had suddenly appeared on the screen. Jake jumped and hid his eyes in Shawn's arm. Shawn looked down at him.
"You're such a wimp."
"And you're an ass."
"You mean I have a nice ass!"
Shawn winked at Jake and sneered. Jake pinched Shawn's arm. Shawn flinched in pain, but didn't move.
"What's wrong, you usually pull away and hit me."
"I'll endure any pain to make you happy."
"You're so corny."
Jake punched Shawn in the arm and Shawn laughed. After a few playful blows, the laptop was set on the floor and disappeared from thought as Jake and Shawn wrestled until they fell asleep.
Wednesday rolled around again. It was time for Shawn and Jake's computer programming class. When Shawn and Jake entered the room, the unexpected occurred. A cheetah threw herself at Shawn with no warning knocking him to the ground.
"HEY Shawn!"
Shawn grimaced in pain.
"Who are you?"
Shawn examined the cheetah with a close eye. She was thin and toned. What one would call a "pretty girl".
"Oh come on! You can't have forgotten about me! It's only been four years! You couldn't have forgotten your Princess Ellie!"
Shawn looked closely at her eyes. They were a golden amber color. They seemed to be glowing.
"No, I don't recall ever meeting you before."
"Awe! That's sad. Well... not really cause I never talked to you before. We were in the same class back in Trinity!"
"Is that so? I don't remember any people really back from school."
"That's okay. I don't blame you. No one stayed awake in English III."
"You do realize that was four years ago, right?"
Ellie began to pout.
"I can't believe you forgot me."
Ellie hit Shawn in the arm multiple times. She stood and walked into the computer programming class and sat down never even blinking.
Jake put his hand on Shawn's shoulder.
"What was that about?"
"I'm not sure myself."
Jake and Shawn entered the classroom and sat down in the back. Throughout the entire class, Ellie kept looking over her shoulder and smiling at Shawn. When the professor finally released them, Ellie bounded out of her seat and lunged at Shawn, who sidestepped just in time to miss the tackle. Ellie crashed on the floor and let out a loud scream. Everyone still in the room immediately stopped and looked at them. Shawn and Jake simply put their hands up and shook their heads.
"We had nothing to do with this."
The class shrugged and exited the room swiftly. Ellie got up and rubbed her forehead.
"That hurt Shawn. Why wouldn't you catch me?"
"Well first off, I don't know you and second, I learned my lesson the first time you tackled me. I'd rather not have my tail almost broken."
Shawn felt his tail, it was still slightly bent from when Ellie had landed on him the first time.
"It still hurts and it's been over an hour."
Jake kissed Shawn on the cheek.
"I told you, I'll fix it tonight. I'll give you a massage as well."
Shawn kissed Jake back.
"Thanks Jake, I know you'll take care of me."
Shawn turned back to Ellie who had a horrified look on her face.
"Is something wrong Ellie?"
Ellie stood in silence, jaw hanging nearly to the floor. She walked to her seat, gathered her things and exited the class without making a sound.
"Wonder what that was about."
"I dunno, but let's get you back so we can fix that tail of yours, although I'm kind of digging the crookedness. Makes you look different... hot to be honest." Jake batted his eyes at Shawn who chuckled a bit.
"Let's get going puppy. My tail hurts and you are gonna fix it right now."
Jake laughed as they exited the room. Shawn eyed a distraught looking Ellie leaned up against the wall outside.
"Shawn... can we... talk please?"
"Yeah." Shawn turned to Jake. "Give us a minute hun?"
Jake nodded as he walked around the corner to the bathroom.
"What's up Ellie?" Shawn had a confused look.
"Are you... and Jake..." She was cut off when Shawn nodded his head and replied knowing the rest of her question.
"Yeah, he asked me out yesterday. We've known each other for a little while now and i'm more than comfortable with him. I think I lov..." Shawn was cut off when Ellie wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a kiss. Jake walked around the corner and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Shawn pressed against Ellie. Jake let out a squeal and dropped his book he was carrying as he sprinted out the door into the courtyard then dashed into the library. Shawn broke out of the kiss and shoved Ellie back into the wall, anger enveloping him.
"What the hell Ellie? I don't even fucking know you and you just kissed me in front of my boyfriend!" Shawn ran to Jake's book and picked it up and sprinted out the door after Jake... the only problem... he didn't know where he went. Shawn scavenged the area for any sign of Jake, only to come up empty handed. He began to think Jake had gone back to the room when he heard a pair of female horse talking about a crying husky. Shawn dashed to them stopping them.
"What did the husky look like?"
One of the horse looked confused, but the other had Shawn's answer ready.
"He's about 5'9", white and grey, fluffy tail..."
Shawn cut her off before she could say anything else. "Thanks!" He darted inside, franticly searching around, diving behind book shelves and staircases before he slipped on a rug and hit his head against the floor, knocking him into a daze. In his fuzzy view, and pair of golden paw grabbed his arms, hoisting him up into a chair. A few figure danced around in his vision before he could finally focus, seeing Cindy there, he snapped back to panic mode and jerked his head around the room looking for Jake.
"Shawn... he's not here anymore."
"Where is he? I have to find him! I swear it wasn't what it looked like!"
"That's what they all say." Cindy sighed, a clear disappointed look on her face. "Shawn... I thought you were better than that. I thought you'd be the one who'd give Jake a good run. I've known you for a few years now, but this is just wrong."
Shawn felt a stab in his heart as he was accused of cheating. The scowl of disappointment he was receiving just made it that much worse. He felt as if he had dagger shoved into his heart and ripped out. "I'm telling you! She kissed me! Not the other way around! I would never hurt Jake like that! I love him!"
"Shawn, you've done this before. The girls you dated before... you just kept cheating... breaking hearts. I was happy when you found Jake and y'all hit it off. I thought you finally found someone you didn't have to cheat on... but i was wrong." Tears began to well in her eyes as she picked up her bag and stood up. "Don't talk to Jake or me anymore. He doesn't deserve to be treated like that."
Cindy blinked and a tear dropped on Shawn's paw. She turned to leave, ears flat and tail between her legs. Shawn sat in utter astonishment as he watched his once best friend leave him alone in the library. Again, he was clueless as to where to find Jake. He slowly bent down and straightened the run he slipped on and exited the library.
As if by miracle, the two horse from earlier walked by again, again talking about their recent sighting of the husky. Shawn listened close to the conversation to see if he could get a clue to where Jake was.
"...yeah... poor guy ran into the parking lot.... I heard from a few lioness that he's been sitting behind that big oak tree over there for a few minutes. I hope he's okay."
Shawn's eyes perked up at the reveal of Jake's location. In a dead sprint, Shawn raced to the parking lot as fast as he could, locating the big oak tree at the back of the lot. He slowed his pace to catch his breath as he neared the tree. He listened, hearing faint sobs from the other side. He rounded the tree and found Jake curled in a ball with his head between his knees. Shawn placed his paw and Jake's shoulder as he lowered himself down.
"Jake, please let me explain what happened. I promise you have nothing to worry about."
"I... I don't... want... to listen." Jake replied between sobs.
"Jake, I didn't kiss her. I don't even know her and better yet, I don't even like her. She's one of those ditsy chicks who think they can have whatever they want if they flash enough. She kissed me, not the other way around. I promise I would never hurt you like that. Jake... I love you."
Jake looked up at Shawn and saw the sincerity in his eyes. Gazing into them he sobbed and straightened his legs, opening himself up, indicating he was ready to listen.
"Like I said Jake. I did all that stuff on Friday to get you to go out with me, why would I turn around... not even a week later... and kiss someone else. I chose you Jake, I love you. I have since I first met you. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be with. No guy or girl would ever be able to fill the hole in my heart if you left."
A tear found its way out of Shawn's eyes as he finished his explanation. Jake unwrapped his arms from around his waist and wrapped them around Shawn. "For some reason... I believe you. Against all my judgement and thoughts, I know you're not lying to me." Tears finding their way to his eyes, Jake nuzzle his muzzle into Shawn's chest, staining his shirt with his tears. Shawn wrapped his arms around Jake and rested his chin on top of Jake's head. They sat like that for a good 20 minutes until finally the peace was broken when Randall approached from behind the tree.
"Hey Shawn, is Jake there with ya?"
Shawn blinked and looked up. "Yeah, he's right here, you need him?"
"Nah bud, just comin' to see if y'all made up yet. Cindy told me everythin' and I figured it was a big mistake. I heard some talk around campus of a white and grey husky behind a tree when I saw ya race to the parkin' lot. I figured I give y'all some time to make up 'fore I came and got ya."
"Did you need something?"
"Nah, just gonna let ya know that I talked to our professor for ya, let him know that ya had a bit of a problem on yer hands. He said not to worry and he'd give ya a make up assignment if ya swing by before five o'clock."
"Thanks Randall, I'll see about heading over in about an hour, I'm gonna talk to my puppy first. He's much more important." Shawn squeezed Jake. Jake reciprocated by squeezing back.
"It's all cool. Y'all don't stay out too late. Don't want y'all to catch a cold."
Shawn and Jake chuckled a bit and closed their eyes again. Hearing the footfalls fade, they heard a new set approach. Shawn figured it was Cindy coming to say something. Instead, they was a harsh clearing of throat and an all too familiar voice spoke.
"Shawn... I'm sorry I caused you so much pain. I didn't know it would go that far."
Shawn refused to say a word. His anger had returned and his eyes were starting to sting being he forgot to blink. "You have every right to be angry with me. I jumped too far and I hurt you and your boyfriend. I know sorry isn't enough to fix it, but I hope I can make it up to you eventually."
Shawn opened his muzzle to say something but was cut off when he heard Jake's voice.
"Ellie... I know you didn't mean to hurt either of us, but you can't just kiss someone. Especially someone you haven't seen in four years."
Shawn was astonished by the softness of Jake's voice. As he spoke, it seemed to drain away every bit of anger Shawn had and replaced it with acceptance and understanding. A few sobs rolled out of Ellie's throat. Shawn suddenly felt the urge to apologize, but he held fast as he wasn't about to give in to her emotions.
"I think it's best you leave now Ellie. I don't want any more conflicts to arise."
With a few more sobs, the sound of Ellie's light footfalls vanished from existence. Shawn turned back to Jake and again squeezed him tight, not wanting to let go when his phone buzzed. He shifted slightly to pull it out of his back pocket and read the message.
"Shawn, it's Cindy. We need to talk. Bring Jake to the chow hall at 6 so we can get some dinner."
Shawn clicked the button on the side of his phone to lock it and slipped it back into his pocket.
"Who was that?"
"Cindy wants to talk to us. She wants us at the chow hall at 6."
Jake checked his watch, noting the time being 16:24. "Well you gave to head to your class to get the make up assignment. I'll walk with you if you want."
"That sounds amazing. I'd appreciate it."
Shawn stood first, extending his paw for Jake to take and lifted him up. They walked paw in paw to Shawn's class to get his assignment. He wasn't in their long when he stepped back out, and large envelope in his hand.
"What's the assignment?"
"I have to write a letter addressed as the president as to what I would change about the world."
"That sounds like fun! I wish I had assignments like that!"
Shawn put the envelope in his pocket and wrapped his arms around Jake, pulling him closer.
"Listen..." He shook his head. "Never mind, I'll talk to you about it later." He pressed his lips against Jake's and closed his eyes, enveloping himself in the moment. Jake ran his paw up Shawn's shirt and felt his stomach. Raising it a bit higher, he felt his way to Shawn's peck and squeezed. A slight moan escaped Shawn's throat. Soon enough, Shawn found his own paws grabbing Jake's behind. Jake broke from the kiss, panting to regain his breath. Shawn nibbled the tip of Jake's ear, finding his puppy enjoyed it as a quiet moan broke the silence.
"I want to do more with you Jake." Shawn whispered in his ear, his breath brushing across his sensitive ears, causing him to shiver and moan. Shawn raised his paws and lifted Jake's shirt, feeling around his boyfriend's body, feeling every curve and bump. Shawn's thumb lightly brushed Jake's nipple, causing him to shake.
Just as Shawn was getting into it, the door behind him opened as his professor came out. Shawn quickly slid his paws out of Jake's shirt.
"OH! Shawn... I... I didn't know you were still here." Mrs. Flash said, eyeing Jake curiously. "And whom might this be?"
Jake straightened up. "I'm Jake. I'm Shawn's boyfriend. Nice to meet you!" Jake extended his hand in greeting. Mrs. Flash accepted Jake's paw graciously.
"Well Shawn, I didn't know you had a boyfriend. I'm curious as to if this was the reason you couldn't make class today?"
Mrs. Flash eyed Jake one more time before shifting her glance to Shawn.
"Yes ma'am. We had a bit of a problem. I understand school comes first, I promise it won't happen again."
"Oh nonsense!" Mrs. Flash beamed. She leaned over to Shawn and whispered in his ear. "He's quite the looker. You don't need to concern yourself with my class if you two are having problems. Feel free to send me a text and let me know before hand."
"Thanks Mrs. Flash, I'll keep that in mind."
Mrs. Flash departed, leaving Shawn and Jake alone yet again in the hallway.
"You have such cool professor! Wish I had some like that."
"She's the only one who will do that. She feels that since she hasn't gotten her own relationship yet, she doesn't want to stand in the way of other potentially finding their mates."
Jake snickered, "I'm totally jealous. Well, we have to meet Cindy in a few minutes at the chow hall. It's gonna take us a second to get there so we should probably go."
"Awe! But I liked our session we were having. I wanna continue!"
"After our talk with Cindy then we can head back to the room..." Jake leaned up to Shawn's ear, "and we can do whatever you want to do." Jake nibbled Shawn's ear for a split second before setting back and running out the door hollering back, "That is... if you can beat me there!"
Lust set in Shawn's eyes as he was determined to win. Ears flat, tail straight, Shawn surged forward in a burst of speed.
Rounding the corner, Shawn was right next to Jake. Only a few more feet and the race would be determined. At the last second, Shawn lunged forward and took the lead. Slowing to a stop at the door to the chow hall, Shawn and Jake hurled over catching their breath.
"I haven't... ran... that fast... in over a year!" Jake wheezed out between breaths.
"I ran track last year... but that still kicked my ass... phew." Shawn wiped some of the sweat out of his fur. "Where did you learn to run like that pup?"
"My dad wanted me to be in track in high school. I ran for the team my junior year, but I didn't have time to my senior year because of my job."
"Well... been friends for a few months now, boyfriends for almost a week and neither of us knew the other used to be in track..."
"Guess not foxy." Jake grinned at Shawn, finally calling him the nickname he'd been holding back for a while now.
"Why did you just call me foxy?"
"Cause you're my foxy man." Jake gave Shawn a wink.
"You..." Shawn was cut off when the door opened, revealing Cindy, eyes red with distraught.
"Cindy! What's wrong?" Jake grabbed her paw and began to rub it."
"Shawn... I need to say this now... and I need to say this in front of Jake. I'm so sorry for the way I treated you. I didn't even try to give you a chance. You didn't give up and you went and found Jake after I told you to leave us alone. I don't deserve to call you my friend!" Tears began to trickle down her muzzle as she began sobbing uncontrollably. Shawn wrapped his arms around Cindy and pulled her into a giant hug, almost crushing her.
"Cindy... it's okay. You were looking out for Jake, which means so much to me that you could never understand. I know that if i'm ever gone, I can count on you to take care of him. You've known him just as long as I have... and you're willing to sever friendships to protect him. Thank you so much Cindy!" Jake looked bewildered. Confused at the current situation.
"What are y'all talking about?"
"Crap... I never told him about what I said to you Shawn... he didn't even know we had that fight, i'm so stupid."
"You two had a fight? Over me?"
"Yeah, I thought you knew hon."
"I know that after I ran into the library, I saw Cindy sitting in there. She saw me and asked why I was crying so I told her what I saw. She told me to go to the tree in the parking lot, that I would be safe there."
"And it obviously wasn't a very good hiding spot... considering you still found him."
Shawn chuckled. "I had some involuntary help when I overheard two horse talk about hearing about a white and grey husky crying behind a tree in the parking lot. I would have never thought to look there otherwise."
Cindy grinned. "It was the only spot I could think of. I go there when i'm upset and need to just think."
"Well, anyways... thanks Cindy. I appreciate you looking out for my puppy." Shawn winked at Jake.
"Wait, you yelled at Shawn and tried to end your friendship over me? Why?"
"I don't know. I kind of just snapped. Never had a good relationship where a guy didn't cheat on me with some other girl. So I saw it in him and it made me disgusted... but I feel better now knowing the truth."
"Speaking of... how did you find out Cindy?" Shawn finally releasing her from his hug.
"Randall told me you made up after he left you under the tree. Sent me a text." Cindy pulled out her phone to show them the text. It read "Hey Cindy... just thought I'd let ya know that the boys made up, no need to be mad at Shawn. It was a misunderstanding. He never kissed anyone. She kissed him." "So I felt a churn in my stomach when I remembered what I told you. And I felt utterly horrible. So I decided I needed to apologize for my behavior."
"It's okay Cindy. We still love you all the same!" Jake grinned as he wrapped his arm around Cindy's neck, pulling her into a hug.
"Thanks Jake... but i'm tired. I'm ready to go to bed. I have class early in the morning. Night guys!"
Cindy dipped out of sight. Shawn grabbed Jake's paw in his. "So I distinctly remember a little puppy telling me I can do whatever I want if I beat him here... and I distinctly remember reaching the door before you..." Shawn had a wicked grin on his muzzle.
"Oh... I... I guess I did say that... didn't I?" Jake scratched the back of his head.
"Yeah... and let me tell you pup... you'd best believe i'm doing what I want to tonight."
The walk back to the dorm was a nice cool walk. The sun had already set, leaving the moon shining bright and the air a brisk cool. Shawn and Jake walked, paw in paw back to the room.
Pushing the door open, Shawn furiously shoved Jake in the room in the midst of a powerful kiss. Jake fell back on the bed and Shawn fell on top of him. Jake was already missing his shirt and Shawn had his pants unbuttoned. Shawn's thumb brushed past Jake's nipple again causing him to exhale a moan. Shawn's other paw quickly found its way down to Jake's bulge, cupping it in his hand he got a good feel for the size. It was pretty big, ever so slightly smaller than his own. Jake suddenly froze. Shawn pulled away, confused by the abnormal act.
"What's wrong Jake?"
"I thought you wanted to take this slow... I just feel like we might be moving too fast."
"Jake, I'm ready to do anything you're ready to do. If you're not comfortable with this then I'll stop, but if you want to keep going then I'm ready to take that next step with you."
Jake's eyes gleamed with passion. "Thanks Shawn. I'm ready, but I don't want to go that far tonight."
"I understand and I'm willing to wait for you. I love you Jake."
Jake's eyes lit up even more, a tear threatening to slide down his muzzle. "I love you too Shawn."
Shawn placed a kiss on the side of Jake's muzzle and stood up, buttoning his pants.
"Shawn...?"
"What's up puppy?"
"I was wondering if we could push the beds together, then we can sleep together. And not be so cramped."
"I was thinking the same thing. You're much more brave than I am. You can ask before I do." Shawn chuckled to himself, effectively infecting Jake with his laughs. Together, Shawn and Jake moved the nightstand out of the way, pushing their beds together in the center of the room, placing their respecting nightstand on their sides of the joined beds. Jake pulled his pants off and laid down on his side, Shawn scooted up behind him and wrapped his arms around Jake's waist, hugging him tight. The heat and soft beat of Shawn's heart made a rhythm, lulling Jake into exhaustion. Within a few seconds, Jake was fast asleep. His soft breath slowly infecting Shawn, Shawn found himself unable to resist the temptation of slumber.
Jake sat up in a rush, looking around him, finding himself back in his old room in Trinity. A knock came on his door.
"Come in!"
The door opened to reveal a silhouette. Upon closer evaluation, Jake recognized the individual as his father. There was a slow dripping sound in the background.
"Hey dad, what's up?"
The silhouette did not reply, instead, dropping to its knees. The small amount of light entering from behind was enough to portray faint details of his father. There were red splatter marks across his chest and face. Jake's father opened his eyes, emitting a deathly glow.
"Dad, what's wrong?"
Jake stood up and walked to his kneeling father. The powerful odor of blood finally reaching his nose was almost enough to make him puke. Covering his mouth, Jake put his paw on his father's shoulder, falling backwards, there was a reveal of slash marks all over his chest and arms. Gasping in horror, Jake dropped to his knees, hovering over his father's now lifeless body. Through his cries and sobs, a loud screech penetrated Jake's ears from down the hall. Jake immediately depicted the sound emanating from his mother. Jake rushed to his parents door, shoving on it, it didn't budge. There was a bang on the other side of the door. Vigorously shaking the knob, the door finally clicked free and flew open. The scene inside was enough to make Jake double over. A stream of blood trickled down, reaching his paw, staining it red. Jake lurched in pain, heaving to release the empty confines of his stomach. Jake looked up. Through glassy eyes and tears, he managed to make out a silhouette on the other side of the room. In an ever so slight contrast to the darkness of the wall, the silhouette lunged forward, light shining across the blood stained blade in its paw. The feeling of the dull blade penetrating his flesh was too much. Jake cried out in pain, grabbing the hilt of the blade, he pulled it out of his chest. The gash was bleeding profusely. Another few minutes and Jake would die from blood loss. Clutching his chest, he noticed movement in the corner of his eye. A paw grabbed him by his chin, forcing him to look up at the being controlling it. The facial features were still too dark to distinguish. The creature's lips parted, as if saying something, but no sound was present. The ringing in Jake's ears grew louder as his vision tunneled, darkness consuming him slowly. His arms and legs were heavy. His vision was almost consumed when a bright light shone behind the creature, causing it to evaporate instantaneously. Jake's vision began to return, his limbs feeling lighter by the second, the ringing fading to a dull roar, and the pain in his chest subsiding. The light centered around what appeared to be a fox. Eventually, the light faded, leaving behind Shawn, rushing to Jake's side, scooping him into his arms.
"Jake! Jake...! Wake Up...! Jake!"
Jake's eyes shot open, sweat trickling down his forehead.
"What's going on?"
"You were tossing and turning all night. I think you were having a nightmare."
"Yeah... it was horrible." A tear emerged from Jake's eye, gliding down his furry cheek. Shawn put his paw on the sides of Jake's face, wiping away the tear with his thumb.
"Jake, I promise you I won't let anything hurt you. I love you."
"That's the thing Shawn... you did protect me in my dream, but you were too late to save my parents."
"What happened?"
Jake explained his nightmare to Shawn, pausing when the picture of his father and mother returned to his memory.
"Jake... There's no way anything like that will ever happen." Shawn drew Jake into a tight hug, pulling back only to kiss him on the side of his muzzle.
"I know. Thanks hon."
"Anything for my puppy." Shawn winked. "Now let's get back to sleep... and this time no more nightmare, kay?"
"Alright." Jake laid down again, assuming his natural little spoon position as Shawn pressed himself against Jake's back. Sleep quickly overtook Shawn, leaving Jake to reside in the darkness alone. Shawn's arms squeezed tight, snapping Jake to his senses. The warm embrace of his boyfriend filled his heart with happiness. Exhaustion finally consuming him, Jake closed his eye, allowing sleep to whisk him away.
The alarm clock sounded, the buzzing ripping Shawn and Jake from their slumber. Thursday had finally rolled around. Meaning Shawn and Jake finally had a free day. Shawn's phone buzzed. Rolling over to check it, he noted it was a message from Cindy. He slid his thumb across the screen, unlocking it. The message read, "Hey, thought I'd let you know, Mrs. Flash sent an email to our student email address. We have a mandatory conference at noon. She said she wants to explain something to us." Shawn groaned.
"But it's my day off! I don't want a conference!"
"What's going on?"
"Mandatory conference for Mrs. Flash at noon today."
Jake's eye drooped. "Well, you'd better go since you missed her class yesterday."
"But she said if it had to do with you then she didn't care if I skipped!" Shawn kissed Jake's muzzle.
"That doesn't matter, it's the right thing to do. Now be a good foxy and get read... but do it all slow like so I can watch." A smile broke across Jake's lips.
"You're such a perv!" Shawn punched Jake's arm lightly. "I guess I can put a show on for ya."
Jake's cheeks seemed to glow red through his white fur. Shawn stood up, unzipping his jeans and pulling them down, making sure to bend all the way over. Jake had recently acquired a tent in his boxers. Shawn proceeded to pick out a fresh pair of light blue jeans and pull them on, stopping just below his butt. He slipped the jeans up and buttoned them. The jeans were definitely a size too small in the waist, because they seemed to want to burst with the size of Shawn's cheeks. Bending over to pick up a shirt out of his drawer, Shawn pulled it over his head. The shirt fit his physique perfectly, outlining his abs and biceps, it seemed to cling to him like another layer of skin.
"Was that sexy enough for you?" Shawn glanced down, seeing the sizable tent in Jake's boxers. "Well someone was fond of my teasing."
Jake glanced down and instantly became as red as a cherry. "I... I don't... I... what do you mean...?"
Shawn sent a kiss through the air to Jake. "I'll be back in a few hours puppy. Then we can do some more stuff."
Jake seemed to purr at the thought. Just as his mind clicked back to the present, the door clicked shut, leaving him alone. Jake shrugged and grabbed his laptop, opening it to see what was going on with the world. A news article caught his attention when it read "Major car accident in Trinity." Opening the article, the first line read "Major accident, two announced dead on scene, three currently receiving emergency medical care."
"That's horrible... I hope it wasn't anyone I know." Reading farther down the page, the names of the victim were displayed. "DOS: Cinthia and Jackson Inami. Currently in medical care: Sam Victor, Dan Chavez, and Alex Sizeman."
Jake's heart sank. Refusing to believe what he was reading, Jake frantically flipped through multiple new sites, all having the same headline, all reading the same article.
"No... no... no no no no... NO!" Jake flipped his laptop out of his lap and raced out of the door. Rushing to the English building, Jake spotted Shawn's classroom and burst through the door. Shawn jerked his head toward the door, noticing Jake tremble, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Jake opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Squeaks and whines escaped as Jake fell to his knees. Shawn rushed to Jake's side, grabbing his cheeks and forcing him to look into his eyes.
"Jake! What's wrong?"
"They... they... Shawn... they..." Jake closed his eyes, wanting to forget everything. "They..."
"Jake! Hon... look at me, tell me what happened. They who? What happened?"
"They got in... in... a crash..." Jake was barely able to speak between sobs. "Car... crash... they're... dead."
Fitting the pieces together, Shawn finally got a hold of what Jake was telling him. "No! That can't be true! Hon, look at me. Look at me Jake... what happened?"
"Car crash... mom... dad... dead on... scene. Sam and two... guys... in the... hospital."
Shawn's eyes widened when Jake made mention of Sam. "Sam who. Jake, do you know her last name? Jake tell me what her last name was."
Jake choked. "Victor..." Jake looked into Shawn's Hazelnut eyes, watching them as they grew with fear.
"No! It's... it's not possible!"
A shrill voice echoed behind them. "What's going on you two? Is something the matter"
Shawn stood and faced Mrs. Flash, tears welling in his eyes. "It's... nothing... i'm sorry Mrs. Flash, we have to go now."
"But..." Mrs. Flash stopped herself. "Okay, but when I see you next, i'll need an explanation. One from both of you."
The soft gleam in her eyes told her real words, "Go, be by his side. You two need each other most right now."
"Thank you Mrs. Flash." Shawn stood Jake up, supporting him from around his neck. "Come on Jake, we need to get back to the room."
Jake walked beside Shawn, clutching to his boyfriend's neck like a life preserver. "Shawn..."
"Jake... you don't need to say anything right now. I know."
Opening the door, Shawn noticed the shattered screen of Jake's laptop in the corner of the room. "I guess i'll have to find it myself then." Shawn laid Jake down on his bed. He curled up into a ball and sobbed. Shawn opened his laptop and searched for the news article. Bringing up the page, Shawn's heart sank farther and farther as he got down the page. His little sister was in a car with two drunk boys when they t-boned another car in an intersection, killing both individuals in the other vehicle... which just so happened to be Jake's parents. Shawn's sister received major damage to her chest and back, as well as her left arm and both legs. Both of the males had received very minimal damage being they didn't tense when they impact occurred. The driver is facing a DUI charge as well as involuntary manslaughter on two accounts. The other male is facing drinking underage as well as involuntary manslaughter on two accounts. His sister is currently facing involuntary manslaughter. Her bail is currently set at $10,000 while both of the male have no bail set.
"Sam!" Tears welled in Shawn's eyes, managing to drip down the side of his muzzle. Shawn closed his laptop and set it on the floor. He turned over to Jake and buried his muzzle into Jake's back. Jake flipped over and wrapped his arms around Shawn. Embracing each other, they both cried until they fell asleep.
A knock came on the door. Shawn's ear perked up. "Shawn... Jake... it's Cindy... can I come in?"
Shawn groaned. Opening his crusty eyes, he stood up and stretched, rubbing his eyes. Shawn opened the door. Cindy stood there, wearing casual cloths. Her eyes were red like she'd been crying.
"I heard what happened. I'm so sorry."
"You're not the one who needs to apologize. I should be apologizing to Jake. My sister took his parents from him." Shawn stepped out into the hall, taking care to grab his keys before he closed the door.
"What are you going to do?"
"Obviously I'm going to buy us plane tickets to go to the funeral. There's not much I can do for Sam except visit her."
"Shawn... the tickets are pricey, especially around this time of year. You're looking at over $1000 per person just to fly back."
"And I have enough in my savings account to get us there and to live comfortably. Jake obviously won't stay at his house... and I doubt my parents will want me home right now."
"Is there anything I can do to help?"
"All you need to do is be there." A sob found its way to Shawn's throat, escaping as he finished his sentence. He unlocked to door and slipped inside, closing it without another word.
"I hope you guys are okay." Cindy turned to leave, spying Tyler walking down the hall.
"Tyler!" Tyler shot upright, dropping his book.
"Cindy! What are you doing here?"
"I came to check on my friends, they got some terrible news. Jake's parents were hit by a drunk driver. They didn't make it."
"That's terrible! Is he okay?"
"He's still shook up, he's asleep with Shawn right now. The bad part is... Shawn's little sister was in the car that hit them."
"Oh my God! What the fuck was she doing in a car with a drunk driver?"
"I don't know. But she's looking at prison time right now."
"That's horrible!"
Tyler cupped his paw on Cindy's cheek. "There's no need to be upset. There's nothing you can do."
Cindy inhaled deeply. "I know, but they are my best friend! I can't sit idly by and watch them suffer!"
"When are they going to leave?"
"I don't know, Shawn hasn't booked any tickets yet."
"Then let's make their time here amazing until they leave!"
Cindy looked into Tyler's eyes. They glistened with determination. "Okay, anything we can do, I want to do to help."
"Alright, I'll get in touch with Randall and Josh. How about we take them out to dinner or a movie?"
"That sounds good!"
Shawn and Jake's door opened. Jake stepped out, his muzzle stained with tears, his eyes bloodshot and crusty. Shawn stepped out behind him, holding two towel and a few bottle of shampoo. They quickly walked to the dorm showers, Jake leaning on Shawn the entire time.
"Damn... he looks terrible."
"Of course he does! He just lost both of his parents yesterday! Wouldn't you be distraught?"
"I guess you're right Cindy, I'm sorry." Cindy said nothing, instead cupping her paw together in front of her chest.
"I hope he will be okay."
Inside the shower, Shawn sat Jake on the bench.
"You're gonna have to help me here pup... I can't take both of our shower."
Jake looked up at Shawn, the light in his glassy eyes seemed to be fading.
"I know Shawn... I just can't seem to move my body well."
"Then take a shower with me. It'll be fine."
Jake glanced down and back up. "I'd like that."
"You're undressing yourself."
Jake chuckled to himself. "I know."
Jake pulled his shirt and pants off, stepping into the shower after Shawn. Jake's knees trembled, but Shawn kept his arms around Jake to make sure he was okay. Shawn placed a kiss on the side of Jake's muzzle, causing Jake to calm down a bit. The warm water running down through their fur replaced the soreness and exhaustion with comfort and content. Jake wrapped his arms around Shawn's waist, pulling Shawn closer to him.

Jake gazed into Shawn's eyes, mesmerized by the rich hazelnut color. Jake leaned forward and kissed Shawn. Allowing his paw to fall to Shawn's behind. Jake gave him a little squeeze, heat rushing through him. Shawn rest his paw on Jake's thighs, pulling them slowly toward him until they cupped Jake's sheath.
"Is this okay puppy?"
Jake had an internal conflict battling in his head, the passion he currently felt for Shawn and the sorrow he felt for his parents. Remembering what his parents always told him "Keep your mind in the present" Jake stopped trembling and surged forward, pressing his lips against Shawn's with fiery passion. Jake dropped his paw down to Shawn's sheath and began to stroke it. Shawn released steady moans of pleasure. Shawn was dazed by Jake's advancement, in turn allowing himself to be manipulated by Jake.
"As long as it is with you foxy." Jake smirked, dropping to kiss knees, he observed Shawn's tip peer over the edge of his sheath, stroking with vigor, yet at the same time care. Shawn gasped, trying to find his breath, his member rising with every pump by Jake's paw. A few hot breaths later, Shawn had reached his full length, pulsing in front of Jake's muzzle. Jake took the whole thing in his muzzle, rubbing his tongue on the underside of Shawn's member. Shawn set back against the wall, feeling Jake's tongue made him weak in his knees. Shawn put his paw on the back of Jake's head, scratching behind his ears. Jake bobbed back and forth, Shawn's member between his lips made him feel like he was in heaven. Jake pulled away, gasping for breath.
"Shawn... I want you... to..."
Shawn cut Jake off by putting his paw over Jake's muzzle.
"Don't speak, just let whatever happens happen. It's more special that way." Shawn leaned down and gently nibbled Jake's ear, causing him to groan with pleasure. Jake peered into Shawn's eyes, drowning with passion. Jake stood, wrapping his arms around Shawn, holding him there. Shawn placed his chin on the top of Jake's head. They let the water run over them, feeling the warmth of each other as well as the water. Jake felt at peace, like nothing was wrong in the world. Jake turned around and pressed against Shawn. Shawn took the hint and lowered his paw to Jake's behind, slipping a paw finger into his crack. Jake gasped, but instead thrust himself further back into Shawn's grasp. Shawn pulled back, slipping his member into Jake's hole. Jake grunted, releasing his breath as Shawn slowly pushed inside him. The pleasure of Shawn's warmth in him made him swell with joy. Jake leaned forward, giving Shawn a better position to work his magic. Every time Shawn slid in, Jake moaned, each time increasing in volume. Shawn licked Jake's collarbone, the taste of the water and Jake's fur managed to make him go wild. Shawn began to pump with more vigor, making Jake bounce with every thrust. Shawn bit down on Jake's collarbone, causing him to yelp. Shawn was nearing climax. Reaching around, Shawn took Jake's member and began pumping it. Jake, feeling the pressure rise in his hips, let out another moan.
"Shawn... I'm... close..."
"Ngh... me... too..."
Shawn thrust forward, his knot finally pushing past the Jake's backside. The knot swelled, locking the two together. Shawn thrust back and forth, the pressure in his hips proving to be too great. Shawn slammed forward into Jake, releasing rope after rope of cum. Jake moaned loud as he also reached climax, his white liquid covering every wall of the shower. Panting, Shawn and Jake sat in each other's embrace, waiting patiently for Shawn's knot to shrink. The warm water was rejuvenating, refilling them with the energy they just spent. Shawn's knot finally slipped out, releasing the new contents of Jake's behind.
END OF SEXUALLY EXPLICIT SCENE!!!!
Shawn kissed Jake on the side of his muzzle, filling Jake with more happiness than he had ever felt before. Shawn reached out of the shower and grabbed the two shampoo bottle he brought with him. Handing one to Jake, Shawn lathered some into his paw and began to rub it into Jake's fur. After hitting every spot, Shawn let the water run through Jake's fur, wiping the shampoo and water away, leaving behind the fresh scent of "Ocean Spray". Jake's eyes felt heavy. Shawn took the other bottle of shampoo from Jake. "Go ahead and dry off and sit down, you need some rest."
Jake snatched the bottle back from Shawn and poured some in his paw. "I'm fine thanks. Just getting tired... emotionally." Lathering the bubbles into Shawn's fur, Jake felt at peace. The faint smell of "woodlands" filled his nose. Shawn had arched his shoulders as Jake got down to just above his tail.
"Feel good foxy?" Jake scratched a bit harder, making Shawn moan. Jake moved on to the rest of Shawn's legs, leaving a disappointed look in Shawn's eyes. Shawn rinsed off while Jake gave him a couple kisses. Finally Shawn turned the water off, the steam of the shower still fogging the area.
"Let's dry off."
Shawn and Jake stepped out of the shower. Jake grabbed his towel and wrapped it around his waist. Shawn dried off and pulled a pair of boxer briefs on. They were red with a black band.
"Those a new pair? I haven't seen you wear them."
"Yeah, they are new. I got them to impress you."
"Well it worked." Jake hummed, grabbing Shawn's thigh, pulling him closer. Shawn planted a kiss on Jake's muzzle and pushed him back.
"You just got some, I need time to recover."
Jake laughed, pulling on the pair of boxer Shawn brought for him. "You should have grabbed a better pair."
Shawn glanced up, curious as to what Jake was talking about. Shawn then noticed the sizable hole in the back of the boxer.
"Damn that's a big hole! How'd you manage to do that?"
Jake's ears burned red. "I... may have... tried to use them to masterbate before... accidentally ripping a hole in them..."
Shawn laughed so hard he snorted. "I can honestly say I've never heard that before!"
Jake wrapped the towel back around his waist.
"I think it's sexy Jake... you're my sexy puppy!"
Jake kissed Shawn's muzzle.
"Let's get back to bed."
"First... I want to get on my laptop and find some tickets."
"Tickets to what?"
"Back to Trinity..."
Jake's mind slipped out of the present, remembering his parents. "Fuck!" Tears emerged from Jake's eyes. Shawn immediately threw his arms around Jake and pulled him close to him.
"It's okay pup... I'm here."
Jake latched his paws to Shawn's arms, the faint scent of woodlands reaching his nose again, effectively soothing him to a dull whisper.
"Please don't leave me Shawn."
"Never in a billion years!"
Paw in paw, Shawn and Jake walked back to their room. Grabbing his laptop, Shawn laid on the bed beside Jake, pulling up a few airline websites. The best tickets Shawn could find were from United. First Class seats, $1500 a piece.
"I refuse to let you spend that much money on a plane ticket! Put us in coach!"
"Sorry puppy, I already put my card in. Transaction is underway."
"Shawn! Why did you spend that much money on a ticket for me back home?"
"Because no amount of money in the world is enough for my puppy."
Jake froze. "Shawn..."
Shawn leaned over and kissed him.
"I'd go a million in debt for you without a second thought."
Jake teared up, throwing his arms around Shawn, burying his muzzle in Shawn's chest.
"How did I end up with someone so amazing?"
Shawn peeked at the screen, seeing the "Transaction Complete" notice, he closed his laptop and put it on the floor. Bunching up next to Jake, he was lulled to sleep by Jake's soft breaths. Jake soon found himself drifting off, Shawn's faint snores informing him of the weariness of his mind and body. Yawning deeply, Jake's conscious slipped away.
