The gods, leaded by Thor, arrived at Fenrir's cave. The wolf was doing some exercise by lifting his body upside-down with only one of his hands. The gods could see his perfect well-built body and felt intimidated by it. When Fenrir saw the ruckus, he instantly jumped down, almost frightening most of the front gods, and cleaned his hands.

"Good morning! Is it the time for the challenge already since I see other gods here as well to see my mighty power?" asked the wolf while looking towards the gods, one by one. His eyes then locked on the chain that the gods brought. "Ah I see that I am right."

"Good morning, Fenrer. It seems you are ready as well. Should we start the challenge now?" Thor asked while showing a demeanor towards Fenrir.

The wolf stretched his muscles. "I think so. I had a good exercise, so let me break some chains today!"

The gods looked each other and smiled. They whispered and also relieved that the wolf was so willing to be bound easily, which would made their plan worked quickly. Thor also smirked and nodded in satisfied look.

"Alright good." Thor pointed one of the gods to Fenrir. The pointed god seems hesitant at first, but he slowly went infront of Fenrir while bringing up a piece of cloth. His eyes looked up in fear when their eyes met, which made Fenrir half-hearted to frighten him.

"What's up? You won't chain me or something?" the wolf stared down and smirked against the frightened god with the height lower than his shoulder.

Thor sighed. "We are going to put a blindfold on your eyes. Put your head down."

Fenrir pulled his head back. "Huh? I never heard of that one."

"Oh, Fenrer. You said you wanted more challenge right? We just made another decision to make this more challenging for you. We blindfolded you so you cannot see how we bind you. Isn't it challenging?" Thor lifted his eyebrow.

Fenrir scratched his head. "Well... fine. Let's get this over with." Fenrir then lowered his head so the god can blindfold him. The god slowly put the cloth and tied it behind his head tightly.

"Alright. Good. I can't see nothing. Great" The wolf clarified to vent his unpleasant feeling, but it just made the gods smiled.

"Now let's start this. Are you ready Fenrer? You can just relax and let us bind you. No fighting back, until we done chaining you up. Understand?"

Behind his blindfolds, Fenrir spun his eyeballs. "Yeah, yeah, just hurry and bind me already."

Thor nodded. He commanded some gods to bring the shackles towards the wolf.

Fenrir was told to sat down, elbows over his knees. The gods wasted no time getting on his knees himself so that he could lock two heavy steel manacles over the wolf's big wrists. The gods stretched the chains so that other two manacles could reach his ankles and soon, they are locked as well.

The wolf did nothing but observe. His ears flickering for the heavy clang of the chains and how hard it would be. Fenrir gave them a tug. His wrists were bound very closely to his ankles that he couldn't pull one without pulling the other as well. It made him to be kept in an uncomfortable position where it didn't allow him to spread his limbs at all.

Fenrir was ready to start to break the shackles that restraining his limbs when one of the god commanded him.

"Put your neck down please."

The wolf at first looked at the source of the voice, confused. Then he obediently put his head down, until it was low enough for him to stretch it. He felt another manacles locked around his neck as well, forcing Fenrir's back to stay arched forward close to the rest of his limbs. It was truly a terrible position to be in. The wolf tested the length of the chains holding him down and was surprised of how little movement it allowed. He also surprised of how tight the manacels felt around his limbs and neck. Like it was measured carefully just for him as it was really tight enough to fit in. There was no room for him to slip out from them to get free.

Fenrir was surprised for the third time when he felt something forcefully forced inside his mouth. He instantly pulled his head back again while trying to keep his balance from falling.

"What is that? What are you gonna do with my mouth?" Fenrir asked.

"Relax, Fenrer. It's just a bridle. It was where we finished the bindings and a start mark for you. Also it is the part of the bindings as well. So get on it," Thor explained kindly.

Fenrir paused. "Can we not use such thing? Then how can I talk?"

The gods giggled in amusement of how the wolf showed an displeased looks. Fenrir twitched as he heard their giggle and took a deep breath.

"Fine! I'm not a coward! Give me that!" Fenrir opened his mouth wide.

Not in a long time, his muzzle now locked as well by a bridle that usually used by horses, much to Fenrir's displease. It disables his teeth to be used as well from talking clearly. The wolf only bit it while growling uncomfortably.

Once the bridle was strapped on and the gods had done checked the shackles, they stepped back and Thor declared, "Alright, Fenrer. We are done. You are welcome to try to break free now. Anything would use."

Fenrir responded with a low muffled voice.

The wolf checked how his bindings was by pulling them lightly. Indeed, it was so close yet so sturdy that the wolf felt like he was a prisoner in full confinement. His position didn't make it better. He had to hold himself in arch without any little room to stretch himself out. Even his mighty muscles would get hurt if he spent a hour within the shackles.

The wolf started his struggle by trying to shake his limbs out, strongly trying to find an opening for it, but he couldn't find any. He then tried to forcefully spread his limbs and neck at once to break the links and freed himself from the uncomfortable arch position that keeping him in. But after several tries, the chains didn't give up. Everytime Fenrir tugged on the chains, all he managed was to drag his neck down or pull his legs up. The short chains and an awkward position started to give him a huge pain, keeping his back in a strange uncomfortable arch.

His frustation started to swell. For the first time of his life, he experienced of being bound, blinded, and muzzled at once, made him felt disoriented infront of many people that was watching him being helpless. The wolf's movements became less about precision and getting more of brute strength. His mind now focused much more to break free from his predicament. He started to struggle more by pulling his neck up, then his arms and legs apart with more efforts, even though still, the chains didn't seem that it will crack soon. The wolf stopped his brute struggles and growled in frustation.

Watching how Fenrir seems had a hard time to break loose, the gods began to smile.

"Laeding was made for utmost resistance. Do you able to break out from those chains?" Thor asked, amusement and confidence overflowing from his tone.

Fenrir didn't respond, instead he was preparing his last attempt. The wolf took a deep breath. His muscles bulged hard, for the first time the gods had seen, as he brought his true strength forward. The wolf let out a single short growl as he pulled his neck, wrists and ankles all apart at once again with a fast and strong tug. It took but a fraction of a second for the metal to slowly stretched and eventually cracked. All of the connecting chains that keeping the wolf in control snapped one by one, freeing the wolf from his restraints as his strength broke them hard. After he broke free, he stood on his paws and threw the bridle straps and blindfolds that he broke to Thor's feet, enabling him to see and talk. The manacles were still closed around his wrists and ankles, as well as the steel collar around his neck, but the heavy metal ring that was holding the chains together lay down on the scattered pieces of chains on the ground.

"That was the hardest chain that I had ever broke. But, I can do that better next time," the wolf boasted and smirked.

The gods, specially Thor, stunned for a moment.

"Well, that is... a good show of your strength, Fenrer," praised Thor while surpressing the disdain. "But that is just only one challenge. There are other challenges awaiting for you. Be prepared, we will back tomorrow."

"Come back if you have stronger chain for me to break. It better be harder!" Fenrir mocked while stretched his stiff body from the strict bondage.

Thor didn't respond. He commanded few gods to clean up the broken links before leaving in suppressed anger. Fenrir watched him leave while going inside his cave to feast on his first victory.

"I see that you've failed, my son."

Odin's words alluded Thor a bit, that he, the most praised and powerful god, failed the mission miserably.

"He has grown terribly strong," Thor admitted. "But, do not underestimate me, father. For you, for Asgard... I would not stop up here."

Odin stared at him with a stern look silently.

"I will forge another stronger chain that would never break. We will see."

This time, he called the best blacksmiths to help him forge it. They ordered a very rare ore that they will smelt and form it to be a stronger chain.

"Fenrir has an outrageous strength," Tyr said as they arrived at the forge. "We need a very strict and immobilizing bindings to subdue him. As well as a very strong chains."

Thor nodded. "I underestimated his power. Do not worry, this time, he will be bound for good."

Again that night, the smith was roared and enveloped with a higher fire and louder sounds of smashing irons. No other busy night that they would seen of how Thor very determined to make this come true. His pride was scarred and he never going to forget about what Fenrir did today with his creations. He never known failure. Only glorious victory that he had achieved. And with the spirit, he tempered more and more irons with all of his skill. Vowing that Fenrir would never going to break this.

All night, Thor and the Blacksmiths focused inside the smith until morning, Thor wiped his sweats and smiled. He presented the newly forged chains with another proud look to the other gods at the court. It might be just look as a normal platinum-colored chains, but All of the gods could feel the imperial and stronger spirit resides within it. The chains was stronger more than twice compared to Laeding, giving another confidence and hope among the gods. Thor named it Dromi, the All-Metal Chains.

"With these chains, Fenrir will be bound forever and Asgardian will be safe. It made from the mixture of all hardest metal over the Yggdrasil Tree. Nobody would ever break these anymore."
