Stoking the Flames
I'd like to say this second short story of mine was inspired by a good buddy of mine who actually does this kind of job for most of the summer at a wilderness park about an hour away from my hometown. Of course, the events that transpire in this story aren't true hehe. Still, it was a blast to write and I hope you all enjoy reading it!
Aiden had a substantial time to think. Actually, he had too much time to think. His job literally consisted of sitting on his tail in a wooden tower. The monotony was occasionally broken by walking around the vast national forest or chasing off wandering hikers in restricted areas, but even those tasks grew old. He had read every book he owned and his cell phone provided no entertainment whatsoever as there was no cell service for miles. The young red fox almost wished he had some kind of vice, such as smoking cigars or chewing tobacco, just to pass the time. Unfortunately he never got into one of those habits, and the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the job were strictly prohibited. Still, besides the monotony of the job, he still found himself signing up to spend another summer up in the fire watch tower. This was his fourth year on the job, and his outpost, outpost number four, was starting to feel like his second home. He had decorated the walls with his favorite movie posters last year, and this year he brought some knick-knacks from home to decorate his desk with. If he was going to be spending every day out here for five months, he might as well make the place as close to home as possible.
One thing that never grew old was the view. Aiden stretched and yawned from his desk as his watch beeped and flashed 8:00 PM. He stood up from his chair and walked to the door that lead to the wrap-around balcony of the tower. He exited the tower and leaned against the metal railing. The sun was beginning to set and cast a deep red and orange layer across the forest below. The sky was splashed with the same brilliant colors and was a spectacular view that Aiden never grew tired of. In the distance, the hazy outlines of mountains loomed on the horizon. The Timber National Forest was not the largest national parks in the country, but was one of the most popular parks to hike and camp. To the west was the vast and pristine Lake Cenci, which was such a sight during sunset as the light reflected off of the crystal clear water and made it look like the lake itself had caught on fire. To the east, you had the cragged rocks of Timber Canyon, which provided some breathtaking views from some of the higher bluffs. As for the north and south, nothing too spectacular besides endless amounts of trees. Aiden knew the area like the back of his paw, and had no trouble navigating no matter where he was. He barely used the map anymore, but still kept it tucked inside his backpack just in case.
The job was quite simple actually. All he had to do was basically keep an eye out for fires. Despite what others believed, a fire watcher's job was mostly lookout for forest fires, not prevent them. If a fire was spotted, the fire department was called in. It wasn't in his job description to go out into the wilderness and fight fires, unless it was some small campfire that could easily be stomped out. He had experienced some level one fires before, but never experienced a level three fire. A level one fire was a severe fire, but not one that the fire department couldn't handle. A level two was obviously a more severe fire, and one that was quite vast or was spreading quickly. A level three meant to get the hell out of the area immediately. The highest level the park had ever had was a level two, and luckily it was during a year Aiden had not been working.
"HQ to Outpost #4, status update? Everything okay over there?" The familiar voice of headquarters crackled through the radio on Aiden's hip.
"Outpost #4 to HQ, everything's fine over here." Aiden spoke into the speaker.
"Just checking up on you. Haven't heard a word from you all day."
"Yeah sorry. Just distracted." Aiden replied.
"I gotcha. Thinking about what you're going to do after you leave this place?"
"Pretty much. Man, this season went by quick." Aiden chuckled into the speaker. "What about you Vince? Any plans?"
"Nah. You know me, I practically live here, even when I'm not on the clock." Vince chuckled through the static. "Besides, I have to stay here until the park actually closes up for the winter season. It may be your last week here, but I have three more weeks stuck up here."
"Poor wolf. Must be tough with your reliable electricity, air conditioning, and cable television." Aiden said sarcastically.
"It is tough! I don't even get my favorite television channels."
"Oh shut your muzzle."
The wolf laughed over the radio. "Well I'm headed to bed early tonight. Don't stay up too late."
"Don't you worry about me." Aiden replied. "Have a good night."
"You too fox."
Aiden clipped the radio back onto his belt and turned his attention back towards the setting sun. Vince was his boss, a nature-loving cheerful wolf who Aiden liked right from the start when he first joined. He had only met the wolf face-to-face once before, and that was when he first started four years ago. Like him, Vincent was mostly confined to his own outpost, which was quite bigger and much nicer than the other outposts. The only downside to being the big guy in the castle was not being able to leave and explore the park.
It was quite pleasant for a late August night, and was still warm enough to sleep without any clothes on. Sometimes Aiden would drag his sleeping bag out onto the balcony and spend the night underneath the stars. He loved how the starts were so bright and you could see every single one clearly without the distraction of city pollution or artificial light. Aiden looked up at the sky and deeply inhaled the fresh air. He was somewhat sad the season was ending, but was also glad to get back home and see his family and friends. It was a lonely job, definitely not for one who couldn't stand not being with someone for more than a month.
He was often asked how he came across such a job and what made him make the decision to spend five months in solidarity. Well, he mainly had a relationship gone bad to thank for finding such a job. His ex-boyfriend, another red fox, used to do the same thing at a different national park. Aiden had actually ended the relationship because he was tired of not seeing his beloved for five months every year. It was when he graduated college and started looking for jobs to be a park ranger, did he discover the fire watch occupation at Timber National Forest. Not exactly what he wanted to do, but at least it would give him a well-paying job that was close to what he actually wanted to do. Aiden did have to admit though, he felt guilty about ending the relationship with the fox, and then taking the same job that he hated the fox for doing. Hypocritical of him, but the past was the past.
The sun had almost completely set and the night chill started to settle in. Aiden walked back into his confined shelter again and glanced at the calendar hung up on the door. Just four more days. Four more days and he could be back home at his favorite bar with his best friends. Aiden licked his muzzle at the thought of having his first beer in five months. He was definitely getting plastered on the first night back home.
Aiden yawned widely and sat down on the somewhat firm mattress that made up his bed. He looked forward to sleeping in his own bed, taking hot showers, having internet and cable television back, and eating some greasy fast food once he came home. Aiden pulled out a box of chocolate chip granola bars and a jar of peanut butter from the cabinet next to his bed. Peanut butter and granola bars were staple foods in the fire watch community, and two boxes of the snacks and one jar of peanut butter was delivered to the designated outpost mailbox every two weeks. They were filling and gave Aiden energy, but he sure was sick of them. He teared open one of the bars and scooped some peanut butter onto the end. The fox reclined back in bed and munched on the delicacy, his soft hazel eyes staring straight up through the ceiling's windows. The weather was supposed to be nice and warm tomorrow, according to Vince, so maybe he would start the day off right with a nice hike through the canyon. It wasn't like he had anything better to do anyways. If it was warm enough, he could sneak down to the lake and take a quick swim. Swimming was prohibited though, but he hadn't been caught yet.
Aiden finished his stale snack and washed it down with some water. He yawned again and settled into bed. Sleep came almost instantly.
The crackle of the radio was what slowly brought Aiden out of sleep. He thought it was just a dream when he heard the crackle again.
"Aiden? You awake? Pick the radio up."
Aiden blinked slowly and groaned as he tried to ignore Vince's voice.
"Come on you lazy fox. I know you're there. Get your ass out of bed and answer."
He reached over lazily to the nightstand by the bed and fumbled for the button on the radio.
"What?" Aiden mumbled into the speaker.
"Christ, about time you answered. You had a wild night or something?"
"No. I usually don't get woken up before the sun even rises." Aiden replied grumpily as he glanced out the window.
"Well it's important. Look out towards Lake Cenci for me."
"Okay..." Aiden sighed as he sat up in bed and looked out into the dull light of dawn. "What am I looking for?"
"Smoke trail. Really small and thin, probably from a campfire. Looks like it's coming from the edge of the lake closest to you. I can't really get a clear view on it. You mind checking it out for me?" Vince asked.
"Do I have a choice?" Aiden asked as he stood up and stretched.
"Not really, but I like making you think you do."
"Much appreciated. Yeah I'll go check it out. I'll report back to you once I get there."
"Aw such a sweetheart. Let me know if you run into any trouble."
"Acknowledged."
Aiden clipped the radio back on his hip and grabbed his backpack off of the table in the middle of the room. He opened the door, secured it, and quickly clamored down the metal steps to the ground below. The sun was slowly starting to rise and provided enough light for him to see a small trickle of smoke above the trees. Lake Cenci was about five miles away, definitely not a quick trek through the wooded area. Aiden knew some shortcuts though that turned the five mile hike into more of a three mile hike.
Aiden's auburn fur was damp with morning dew by the time he reached the edge of the lake. He sniffed the air and could definitely smell the aroma of burning wood. The smoke trail was rising from a small clearing beside the lake, a popular place for tourists to set up an illegal campsite. Campsites were prohibited around the lake area, and fires were definitely prohibited anywhere besides the designated campsite areas.
The splashing of water caused Aiden's ears to perk. Someone was definitely behind those bushes that led into the clearing. On quiet paws, Aiden snuck up to the bushes and gently pulled the shrubbery apart so he could take a peek at whoever was there. Aiden's eyes suddenly went wide as he gazed upon a muscular, and quite naked, black jaguar standing in waist-deep water. Aiden's muzzle hung open as he stared at the feline's muscular stature, the black fur sleek with moisture. The jaguar hadn't noticed Aiden's presence yet as he continued to bathe himself in the water.
"Holy shit." Aiden muttered to himself.
He couldn't tear his eyes away from the feline. In all his years of working here, he had never stumbled upon such a sight as wonderful as this.
"Hey Aiden? You good? You figure out who made that campfire?"
Vince's voice squawked through the radio, causing Aiden to snap out of his perverted trance. He cursed loudly and fumbled for the radio as he tried to cover the speaker. It was too late though. Aiden's heart seemed to stop as he watched the jaguar snap his head over in Aiden's direction and look straight at him. Aiden wondered if it was the better option to throw himself into the lake and drown instead of having the jaguar ask him why he was hiding behind bushes and watching him bathe.
"Uh...hello?" The jaguar called out as he waved a black paw at Aiden.
Aiden regained his professional demeanor, or whatever else was left of it, and stepped out from behind his hiding spot.
"Hi. Is this your campsite?" Aiden asked sternly as he pointed to the red tent and smoldering campfire.
"Yeah, it's mine." The jaguar replied with a small smile. "Is there a problem?"
"Campfires are strictly prohibited unless they are made and attended to in the designated camping areas. Also, setting up campsites around the lake is also prohibited."
"Oh. I-I'm sorry. I didn't know about those rules." The feline replied sheepishly.
"Well those rules are printed in bold letters at every entrance to this park." Aiden replied as he crossed his arms across his chest. "I'm afraid you're gonna have to pack up and move somewhere else."
"Oh, no problem sir. I'll do it right away."
Aiden felt the blood drain from his face as the jaguar strolled out of the water, revealing his naked midsection. Aiden coughed and averted his gaze, even though his brain was practically screaming at him to sneak a quick peek at the jaguar's lower parts.
"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." The feline said as he dried his fur with a towel.
"It's Aiden. I'm part of the fire watch crew here for the park." Aiden replied, his head still turned away.
"Firewitch crew? That's pretty cool!" The jaguar replied as he finally pulled on a pair of red briefs. "My name is Tristan, by the way."
"Very nice to meet you." Aiden replied dryly as he returned his gaze to the jaguar.
He was glad Tristan had covered himself, but the tight spandex of the briefs left little to Aiden's imagination.
"So are you like a ranger or something then?" Tristan asked as he slipped a white t-shirt on over his well-toned chest.
"Not really. I keep an eye out for fires. Like that one there." Aiden said as he motioned towards the campfire.
"Right...again I'm really sorry about that." Tristan replied as he rubbed his neck with his black paw. "I'm not...I'm not gonna be kicked out of the park, am I?"
Aiden couldn't help but smirk. "Is this your first time being here?"
"Yes."
"Then I think a warning will suffice."
Tristan breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank you. Honestly, first time being here. I decided to take a small vacation out here to take some time off from work. Bunch of my buddies back home suggested this place."
"Well your buddies have good taste." Aiden replied as he started to relax. "But seriously, you do have to pack up and move somewhere else."
"Yeah I will." Tristan sighed in obvious disappointment as he looked at his tent. "I was just really hoping I could camp by the lake. There's nothing like a morning swim in some cold water to wake you up and give you energy!"
An idea suddenly wormed into Aiden's mind. A risky idea, that could possibly cost him his job, but he felt like the jaguar could keep a secret. Plus, if there was a slight chance of getting a phone number from Tristan, he was willing to do almost anything.
"Well, there is a certain place you can go to." Aiden said as he stepped closer to Tristan. "Pretty cool place actually. It's still right beside the lake's shore, and you can have a small fire as long as there's a breeze outside."
"Oh?" Tristan asked as he gave the fox a suspicious look. "Is this also against the rules?"
"Completely against the rules." Aiden gave the feline a coy smile. "But it's in a blind spot from any fire watch towers within the area. It's covered by a thick grove of trees, and there's a rocky overhang that makes a nice cave for you to take shelter in."
Tristan scratched his ears. "I'm listening."
"I can show you where it is, but you didn't hear any of this from me."
"Sounds like a good deal, Aiden." Tristan replied as he flashed a smile.
Aiden pointed across the lake. "You see those trees bunched up together. It's right beyond there. You can't miss it."
"Got it." Tristan said as he finally slid a pair of shorts on, to Aiden's relief.
Well I have to get back to my post. If you need anything, stop by. I'm sure you can see the fire watch tower from here."
Tristan nodded. "Will do Aiden. Thanks for...well you know, making this trip even better."
Aiden waved a paw at him. "Not a problem. Just don't get caught."
Aiden bid Tristan farewell and began walking the route back to the tower. He waited until he was out of earshot before he clicked the button on the radio.
"It's Aiden. Problem taken care of."
"About time you respond. Was about to send out a search party." Vince huffed from the other line. "Who was it?"
"Some virgin hiker. He somehow missed all the signs and didn't know he wasn't allowed to make campfires." Aiden replied as he ducked under a low tree branch.
"So he's packed up and moved on, correct?"
"Affirmative."
"Glad to hear it. Thanks for taking care of that."
"Wasn't like I had a choice." Aiden chuckled. "Anyways, I'm heading back to my post. Try not to bother me."
"No promises." Vince replied, then disconnected.
Aiden made it back to the outpost as his watch flashed 7:00 AM. He took a quick shower in the outhouse at the bottom of the outpost and scurried up the steps, shivering from the cold water. He pulled on a pair of shorts and prepared a breakfast of peanut butter sandwiches and apple slices. He ate his breakfast shirtless while he watched the forest start to wake up.
The rest of the day was spent walking around the park, pausing occasionally to make conversation with other hikers or to enjoy a nice scenic view. He was hoping he would run into Tristan on one of the trails, but didn't have any luck. The sun began to set as Aiden made his way back to his outpost. He panted slightly from exertion as he climbed the stairs, his back aching from carrying his backpack all day. He ate his dinner in gusto and ended up plopping down on his bed, exhausted. He thought back to his interaction with Tristan and felt his face burn as the images of Tristan's naked and gleaming body flashed through his mind. Damn, that jaguar was so sexy. His taut muscles under that sleek black fur was enough to drive anyone crazy. Aiden closed his eyes as he imagined running his paws over those tight muscles. His paw wandered down to the seam of his shorts as he felt his boxer briefs grow tight. His body temperature started to rise and he quickly shed his shirt and shorts, carelessly throwing them onto the floor. His erect member begged for release and he couldn't help but let out a small moan as he pulled the fabric away and allowed his manhood to spring free. It was a good thing he had privacy up here to paw off every night, otherwise he would probably go crazy.
Aiden reclined against the wall next to the bed and slowly started to stroke himself to the images of Tristan imprinted in his mind. He would much rather have the real thing, being able to gaze at that perfect body and explore every inch of it with his paws and tongue, but this would have to suffice. His breathing accelerated as his paw massaged his pink cock, the fluid running from the tip making things nice and slippery. He imagined the jaguar over top of him, feeling that powerful body against his smaller one. He imagined feeling Tristan's member sliding in and out of him, imagined how those strong paws would hold his body down as he felt the feline's hot breath against his neck. The fantasy playing in Aiden's mind caused his paw to move faster up and down his shaft, his paw slick and wet. He couldn't help but moan softly as pleasurable sensations ran through his body like electricity, causing his tail to thump against his bed and his toes to curl at each pump of his paw. Release finally came and Aiden stifled a yelp as his member throbbed in his paw, ropes of his musk streaked across his white chest and abs. He panted hotly from the release and let go of his sticky cock.
Aiden must have fallen asleep as he jolted awake at the sound of his radio going off. Vince's voice rattled something unintelligible over the line, but it was the tone Vince had to his usual calm voice that sent chills down Aiden's back. He sounded panicked.
"Vince? Is that you?" Aiden asked, slightly dazed as he tried to clear his foggy mind.
"Yeah of course it's me. Look towards the lake. Don't ask questions, just tell me if you see what I'm fucking seeing right now."
Aiden stood up from the bed and walked over to the window that face the lake. He let out a small gasp as he saw the blazing red and orange in the distance. An angry pillar of smoke boiled above the horizon.
"You see it? Vince asked.
How could he not? It was the biggest fire Aiden had ever seen in his entire lifetime.
"Yeah, I see it. How the hell did that happen?" Aiden asked.
"Guess it's from the storm that's rolling by. I saw lightning strike something over there but didn't think it would ignite anything. Fuck me Aiden, it's moving fast. That might make the category of a level three."
Aiden's heart skipped a beat. "A-are you serious? That bad?"
"Might be." Aiden heard the sound of papers being rustled in the background. "Outpost one has already been evacuated. Outpost two might be evacuated if the fire continues to spread in the direction its going now. Outpost three and you are safe for now, but there's no stopping a monster like that." Vince replied.
"So...what do we do?" Aiden asked as he stared at the billowing flames in the distance.
"Nothing we can do. It'll just have to burn itself out. It's about to reach the west side of the lake, so it should stop there."
Aiden felt his heart stop and splash down into the bottom of his stomach. Tristan was out there, right in the fire's path.
"Hey Vince? I-I'm gonna go." Aiden said as he tried to hide the fear in his voice. "I-I want to get a closer look at this thing."
"Are you crazy? You can see it fine from here. I don't need you wandering off during a level three fire. Stay at your post." Vince said sternly through the radio.
Aiden's stomach churned and he felt like he was going to be sick. He held back a gag and sat down on the bed.
"Understood." Aiden choked out.
"Good. I have to call the big guys and let them know what's going on. I'll update you if anything changes. Keep your radio close and stay awake."
Aiden didn't bother acknowledging the wolf's command. He felt numb, as if all the blood had drained from his body. Tristan was right in the path of the fire, and it was his fault.
"Fuck!" Aiden screamed as he kicked his desk chair over, causing the wood to splinter as it crashed against the floor.
He couldn't just stay here. He was going out there, even if it meant endangering himself or losing his job. He would not have Tristan's blood on his paws. Aiden threw his clothes back on, ignoring his dry and matted fur on his chest, and shouldered his backpack. He threw the door open and clamored down the steps, taking two at a time. When his feet touched the dirt, he took off in a sprint towards the lake.
The smoke was thick and overpowering around the lake. Aiden's eyes burned and teared up but he pressed on. The water of the lake glowed an angry orange and red as it reflected the flames of the fire. He coughed against the smoke as he made his way towards the grove of trees where Tristan's campsite would be. He prayed to whatever god that was listening that he would find Tristan unharmed. The heat was almost unbearable as Aiden reached the trees, which were already up in flames. He did his best to shield his face as he pushed his way through the smoldering branches, causing hot ash to fall upon him. He ignored the minor burning on his clothes and fur as he pushed his way through the foliage. He busted into the clearing but froze at what he saw.
What used to be Tristan's campsite was fully engulfed in flames. The tent had almost completely burned up, along with the jaguar's duffel bags and clothes. There was no sign of Tristan anywhere. Aiden let off a string of curses as he tried to make his way over to the burning remains of the tent, but the heat prevented him from coming any closer. He let out a howl of anguish and rage, tears streaming down his face.
What about the cave though? Aiden looked beyond the flames at the entrance to the overhang. His eyes strained as he made out something in the dark corner. Aiden made his way around the burning campsite and sprinted through the flames that blocked his way. His foot caught a heavy piece of charred timber, and he let out a yelp as he hit the rocky ground.
"A-Aiden? Is that you?"
Aiden looked up to find the cowering figure of Tristan in the corner of the overhang. He felt the strong paws of the jaguar help him back on his feet.
"Y-yeah. It's me. A-are you okay?" Aiden asked shakily as he rubbed his bloody muzzle. "You're not hurt, are you?"
"I'm fine. Just scared." The jaguar replied back as he rubbed his arm. "It came so quick! I-I didn't even realize what was happening until..." Tristan trailed off as he looked at the trembling fox in front of him. "I can't believe...you came out here, for me."
"We need to go." Aiden said as he looked at the flames behind him. "We can talk when we get the hell out of here!"
He grabbed Tristan's paw in his and guided him past the flames. The two ran from the fire, paw in paw, and didn't stop until they reached the clearing around the outpost. Aiden had never felt so happy to see the lights of the outpost again, and he collapsed on his paws and knees when they reached the bottom of it. He sucked in clear air and coughed from exhaustion and the amount of smoke he had inhaled. His muzzle hurt from the fall, his auburn fur was scorched all over his body, and his clothes had charred holes, but he had never felt more relieved. He was alive. Tristan was alive.
Aiden was barely aware when he felt himself leave the ground by Tristan's paws. The jaguar helped him to his feet and stared at him with a look of disbelief.
"I...You...You saved me. I can't believe you came back for me." Tristan said softly.
Aiden wiped the grime and sweat from his face and gave the jaguar a wide smile. "I just couldn't leave you out there. It was my fault you ended up in this mess."
Tristan suddenly embraced the fox in a powerful hug, causing the air to rush out of Aiden's lungs.
"Oof! Easy big guy!" Aiden let out a choked chuckle as he patted Tristan's back.
"Sorry." Tristan replied as he loosened his grip.
"How about we go up where it's nice and safe?" Aiden suggested as he motioned towards the tower with his muzzle.
"Sounds good to me."
The two walked up the steps slowly and made their way into the shelter of the tower. Aiden closed the door behind him as Tristan sat on the bed.
"Aiden...I don't know what to say." The jaguar said as he looked at the fox. "I'm sincerely speechless. What you did...risking your own tail to go out like that to find me...how can I ever repay you?"
Aiden sat down next to Tristan as his ears flattened against his head.
"You don't have to repay me for anything. It was my fault I got you into this mess."
"How would you know something like this would've happened?" Tristan sighed. "Don't blame yourself, Aiden. You had no idea a wildfire would break out."
"I know, but what if you were hurt? Or even worse, killed?" Aiden replied as he shook his head. "I would never forgive myself."
"But that didn't happen." Tristan replied with a warm smile. He took his finger and gently tilted Aiden's muzzle up. "So chin up, fox. We're both alive, aren't we?"
Aiden's hazel eyes met Tristan's blue eyes, and suddenly a spark seemed to ignite in their gaze they shared. He felt the jaguar's paw rest underneath his muzzle, felt the hot breath against his tongue as he leaned closer. He felt the heat between them as their muzzles met and melted into a kiss, a kiss filled with heat and passion that Aiden had never experienced before. He felt the jaguar take control, the rough tongue rolling over his. Aiden hungrily pushed into Tristan's embrace, wanting to explore every inch of Tristan's muzzle. When the two finally broke the kiss to come up for air, they were both panting hotly.
"I...uh...wow." Was all Aiden was able to speak.
"We're just getting started." Tristan purred as his paws gently grabbed ahold of Aiden's shirt.
Clothes were quickly removed and soon Aiden found himself on his back on the bed, the muscular jaguar towering over him. Just like in his fantasy, Tristan gently placed his body on top of Aiden's smaller one. Aiden felt his cheeks flush as he wrapped his legs around the feline's waist, his completely erect cock rubbing against Tristan's.
"Someone is quite eager." Tristan growled as he nipped one of Aiden's ears.
"Oh, I've been dreaming about this since yesterday." Aiden replied bashfully.
"Have you now? Did I really make that good of an impression on you?"
"It's kind of hard not to when you're completely naked the first time we spoke." Aiden chuckled.
Tristan purred softly as he slid his body down and moved his head down to Aiden's member. Aiden huffed as he felt the feline's hot breath against it, and let out a moan of pleasure as he felt the rough tongue glide across his shaft. Aiden closed his eyes and gripped the bed as he felt Tristan's tongue lap at his sensitive member. Pleasurable sensations flooded his mind and he gritted his teeth as Tristan took his length into his muzzle. Warmness enveloped Aiden's cock and he let out small moans of pleasure as the jaguar's tongue swirled around the tip of his member.
"F-fuck..." Aiden huffed as he opened his eyes and watch Tristan suck between his legs.
After another minute, Aiden felt the pressure start to build up in his cock and knew he wouldn't last long.
"Oh Tristan...s-stop. That's enough." Aiden barely managed to get out as he pulled away from the feline's muzzle.
"What's wrong?" Tristan asked in surprise. "Was that not good?"
Aiden blushed hotly as he pulled Tristan back on top of him. "No, you were doing a fantastic job. I was just getting close."
"Oh. Well, what else do you have in mind then?" Tristan asked as he licked Aiden's muzzle.
"I want you to fuck me." Aiden said with a sly smile. "Show me what you can do with that nice cock of yours."
"A-are you sure?" Tristan asked.
"Absolutely." Aiden said as he wrapped his legs around the jaguar's waist. "Just like this."
"Do you have any lube though?"
"Nightstand. Top drawer."
Tristan smirked at him as he opened the drawer and pulled out a half-empty bottle of lube.
"It gets lonely up here." Aiden replied with a shrug.
Tristan smeared some of the lube on his member until it was nice and slick. Aiden moved his tail aside to give Tristan access to his entrance. He huffed and winced as he felt the cold lube against his entrance.
"You ready fox?" Tristan asked as he leaned over Aiden and gave him a lick on the nose.
Before Aiden could answer, he felt the jaguar push into him. Aiden let out a gasp and wrapped his legs tighter around Tristan's waist. The jaguar was huge. He tried to relax as he felt Tristan's length penetrate him. Tristan growled lowly above him as his claws dug into the mattress.
"Fuck, you're pretty tight." Tristan said as he slowly started to move his hips back and forth.
Aiden could only nod and moan softly. He was only aware of the sensations that ran through his body with each thrust Tristan gave. His paws groped the feline's chiseled muscles on his chest, moved down to his toned hips, and rested on the muscular glute muscles. Tristan's breath came out hot and heavy against Aiden's neck as he started pumping faster and harder. Aiden couldn't help as small yelps and moans of pleasure escaped his muzzle. He squeezed around the jaguar's member and was rewarded with a low moan of pleasure from him. His own cock throbbed against his abdomen, slightly stimulated by every thrust Tristan gave. He felt the jaguar's weight against his body, and tightened his legs around Tristan's waist to keep him steady from the powerful thrusts that racked his body. Tristan was practically pile-driving into him now, and he could tell by the irregular thrusts that the feline was not going to last long. Aiden's prediction was correct as he felt Tristan give one final thrust and let out a yowl as the warmness spurted inside him. Feeling the throbbing member inside him pushed Aiden over the edge, and he let out a bark as his own warmness was released onto his abdomen. Tristan's orgasm subsided, and Aiden felt the weight of the muscular body collapse gently on his own.
Aiden preferred to just lay there in the afterglow, but his tranquil moment was interrupted by the squawk of the radio.
"That your boss?" Tristan rumbled as he nipped Aiden's neck playfully.
Aiden sighed. "Yeah. I do have to answer that though. Might be important."
Tristan rolled off of Aiden and reclined on his back. Aiden picked up his radio off of the floor and keyed the mic.
"Hey fox. Uh...bad news. Just got word from administration. They want all of us to evacuate. They're sending a truck to come pick you up right now." Vince sighed.
"What? Right now?" Aiden asked. "Are things really that bad with the fire?"
"Not horrible. Could be worse, I guess. Fire is still spreading though. They're sending in the planes to help slow it down and crews are enroute now, but they don't want any park personnel in the area. Liability, I guess."
"Okay, so I'm being evacuated now?" Aiden asked as he glanced over at Tristan.
"Yep. Like I said, they're sending a truck over to you now. Should be there in the next fifteen minutes or so. I'd say pack up what you can and get the hell out."
"Right. Well...I'm guessing this is good-bye then?"
Vince chuckled from the other line. "Hell of a way to end the season, huh? I guess it is good-bye, at least until next year?"
"We'll see." Aiden replied as he looked at Tristan, who was in the process of cleaning himself up and changing into his clothes. "I might come back next year with someone."
"Well, you know you're always welcome here." Vince replied. "I gotta get going Aiden. Thanks for your work this year. Take care, fox."
"You too Vince. See you around."
Aiden disconnected the line and flipped the radio's power switch to the off position. He weighed the radio in his paw before he set it back in its charging station on the desk. It was always a somewhat sentimental feeling to turn that radio off at the end of the season.
"So...what now?" Tristan asked as he handed Aiden his clothing.
"Not much. We leave, I guess." Aiden said as he slipped his shirt on.
"To where?"
"Home. I'm done here for the season." Aiden shrugged as he pulled his shorts on. "What about you?"
"Well...I guess I'll go back home too." Tristan replied as he rubbed his neck.
Aiden grabbed his backpack and started to pack his clothes and other belongings. "Truck is on its way here now. I guess it will pick us up and drop us off at the north parking area. I'm assuming that's where you parked?"
Tristan nodded.
"Good. Well I guess we'll head down to the bottom and just wait." Aiden said as he shouldered his backpack.
"What about all this other stuff in here?" Tristan asked as he looked around the room.
Aiden waved a dismissive paw at him. "Don't worry about it. I'll get it next year."
The two made their way down to the bottom of the tower just as the sun started to peek over the horizon. The smell of smoldering wood was still heavy in the air, and the glow from the distant fire was still visible. Aiden set his bag down on the ground and turned Tristan.
"Well, looks like your little vacation was cut short." Aiden said with a small smile.
"No kidding. I still have a full week left." Tristan sighed.
"Well, I live about an hour away from here." Aiden said as his tail brushed against Tristan's. "If you don't mind spending the rest of your vacation in the city."
Tristan chuckled as he slipped his paw into Aiden's. "A vacation with you? I think I'll manage."
Aiden gave the jaguar a wide smile as their evacuation truck rolled out of the trees and parked in the clearing.
"Looks like that's our ride out of here." Aiden said. "At least they were kind enough to come pick us up."
"I feel like I'm at the end of some action movie." Tristan chuckled. "We're the heroes at the end and making our escape."
Aiden laughed and gave the jaguar's paw a squeeze. "So you're okay with spending the rest of your vacation with me?"
Tristan looked at the fox and smiled. "Yes. I think this will be the best vacation I've had in a long time."
