The stallion opened his mouth and then paused before shaking his head. "I'll never understand you warrior types. You hold death off with your own paws while it snaps its jaws in your face." He turned around and walked back to his work. The metal was still hot but not radiant like he wanted. His eyes glowed once again and the material turned to a cherry red.

Blizzard gave a paw gesture for his team to move into the room. All the sleds were lined up nice and neat, side by side in the back, the gold bricks shinning from the light that was reflected from the snow.

Keith was one of those admiring the stacks and sighed. "You fight with hell every mission and bring back heaven."

Blizzard shrugged as he began to pull away his armor, the heavy locks and bolts being undone and then stored on a reinforced rack that was meant only for them. "It's worth it, you know?" Blizzard began and turned to the horse. "This bounty is the biggest our town has ever had. It'll bring whatever we need in for a nice long time." Keith nodded in agreement and continued to strike his metal with the hammer.

Blizzard and his team stepped back out into the sun once all of their protective covering was removed, showing them in tight fitting clothes. They were so far north the cold never really bothered them much since it was so abundant. With the load off their bodies they each stumbled into a small group and headed for the heart of the settlement.

Local Terveta that worked outside stared at the greatly trained warriors, smiling and waving whenever they'd glance at each other. All the Terveta had special abilities, some more so than others, but they all incorporated them to their work or to help others when they would be needed. "Go home and get some sleep," the Alpha grunted. The others nodded happily and complimented each other on their work well done before they each headed off in different direction--except for Crystal.

"Where are you going? You passed your home just a moment ago," The German shepherd trotted up to his side and peered at him curiously.

"I'm just going to see my mate for a little bit before I rest," Blizzard said, "Speaking of, you should get some shut eye as well," he breathed lightly. The Delta only nodded her head and turned to walk back to her own housing.

He was left alone then, wandering the narrow walkways, headed for the biggest structure of them all in the settlement: The capital. Two guards stood at the entrance of the building, the Alphas of Beta and Gamma squad who weren't sent on any mission were lazily leaning against the outside walls in nothing more then very lightweight, thin, steel armor.

"Blizzard!" the Alpha of Beta squad exclaimed, pushing himself from the wall and held his paw to the other. Blizzard grinned and took the outstretched appendage in a tight grip. They tested each other's strength, arms bent and flexing. They were about equal in physical status, but slowly Blizzard began to bring the little arm wrestling match to an end. The Beta squad's Alpha lost his might and was pulled towards the blue husky. Blizzard wrapped his other arm around his neck in a playful headlock and ruffled his hair while he tried to pull away.

"Back so soon?" Gamma squad's Alpha said stepping up and giving Blizzard a nudge on the shoulder with her fist. He let go of the head and puffed his chest up in front of the small mouse.

"Why yes. Miss me, Natasha?"

She giggled and pushed her finger into his rock hard stomach. His chest deflated in a long sigh and then smiled.

"Why are you so early anyways, Blizz?" Ice asked, stepping around to Natasha's side.

"The hostiles decided to attack three days earlier then what we had thought, so we we're three days earlier then what were expected," he answered, shrugging.

The two Alphas nodded at the same time. "So I take it you're here to see your mate, right?" Ice chuckled and crossed his arms over his strong chest while his fluffy red fox tail swished from side to side.

"Yeah, I thought she might need to know that I'm back."
