Full Moon Series: Lunar Soul - Chapter One.
#2 of Full Moon Series: Lunar Soul
Chapter 1
Zackery Thomas was a student at Talloaks College, a campus settled in the middle of the city Trent, which itself was settled in the middle of the mountainous regions of the large country known as The Free States. Normally, to those that knew him, he just went by Zack. To those that knew him on a more personal level, he went by the name Silver.
Zack was born in the northern parts of the world, but his parents moved to the middle regions as there was not much civilization in the north. They ended up settling in Trent, a welcoming city in the mountains that catered towards tourists. The mountains provided scenery while the city provided the comfort and attractions. The tops of the mountains were lined with snow, but at the ground level where the city lay, the air was warm and tropic. It served to make the city a prime vacation spot for those furs that did not know what snow was. There were plenty of lodges built at the tops of the mountains that cost a pretty penny to rent, and there were several cable car stations in the city that carried people up and back down the mountains to where those cabins were.
As an artic wolf living in a more tropic area, his white fur took on a darker tinge, turning it to a silver shine. It was a unique color that made him stand out among the others of his age. Zack often found himself the center of attention, either of affection, or of teasing for his odd color. He didn't back down for it though, he showed it off with happiness, glad for his individualism. As he grew up, he found his sexuality as well and realized he liked the company of other men. Though he wasn't at all the 'flamboyant.' gay male, he wasn't afraid to hit on those he found attractive or admit his sexuality if it was questioned. He was also quite proud of his size, having a nine inch cock, a good thickness and a thicker knot at the base that added another two inches to his length when it was out of his sheath. His balls were nicely shaped and sized too, and he was a rather productive wolf.
Zack took care of his body as well, he trained and played a few sports in highschool, and still hit the gym every so often now that he was college. He had a four pack and distinct muscle on his arms and legs, broad chest, and a handsome muzzle and face. His shining fur always made it seem like he was smiling even if he was just staring blindly into space. His eating habits might not have been the healthiest though, and he blamed that for his inability to go from the four pack to six.
His nickname didn't come from his fur but came from what he called himself online, in the forums of a gay canine chat site called Burythebone.com. He started on the site when another wolf showed it to him to get him to start 'dating'. Only a few times had Zack found and met a few of the members of the website there in Trent, but even then, he never gave out his actual name. To them he was just Silver. He would post pictures of himself online and just like in school, his fur gathered him the attention of several furs looking for a friend or just a good fling. Mostly, what he did was roleplaying through the forums and with others through private messages. When Zack did met up in real life with other members, he only ever offered and was willing to receive blowjobs. While he roleplayed more serious ventures, he wanted to keep his actual virginity for one he'd consider special enough to give to. While he had great friends on the site, he knew none of them were really "the one".
However, perhaps the strangest thing about Zack was his eyes. He had been born with blue, but when he reached the age of twelve, they suddenly changed color to bright green. His parents took him to several doctors, but none of them could fathom why his eyes had suddenly changed color overnight. It was unheard of, but nor did it seem like it had adversely affected his eyesight.
If anything it improved it. Suddenly, Zack felt like he could just see subtle motions, changes between images without a thought or second glance, and could read other people's body language easily. It helped him immensely in his sports career, making him a star catcher on the baseball team he played on in highschool. He also would have brief thoughts of the future that often enough would come true, but he believed he was just imagining what his intuition already knew was going to happen.
Right now, Zack was walking down the street of one of the main shopping districts of the city. Wearing a light, purple hoodie shirt with holes in the hood for his ears to perk up through and a pair of knee length jean shorts. His paws were tucked into the pockets of the hoodie at his stomach, but he kept his head held up high with a happy smile and his tail waving in the air behind him to show that he wasn't just some punk. Like most furs, he wore no shoes and walked barepawed along the concrete.
It was near the end of the day at about 7:00pm and the sun had started to set over the mountainous horizon. Soon the street lights would flick on as the shadows passed over the city. It was currently the fall holiday at school, so there was no classes or anything to worry about. Several others were walking around him, shopping or with family. A few would notice his coloring and stare, looking over their shoulders, one female cheetah with a few other female lions all not so subtly checking out his ass as they walked by him.
He grinned to himself, his left ear twitching as he could just feel the stare until they started to turn their focus back on walking, giggling to themselves suddenly. They wouldn't have been the first women he rejected or the last had they tried anyway, Zack thought to himself. He turned a corner into an alleyway between a general store and a busy restaurant, removing his paws from his hoodie, a phone in one paw.
He swiped it unlocked and opened up a text message that was from a new contact he had met on Burythebone, saying, 'met me at the alley between Great Sales and Rettles, I'll wait up for ya.'
Quickly, he texted a quick 'okay, I'm here, where are you?' before returning his paws to his pockets and starting to walk more down the alley.
Thankfully, the city was fairly clean here in the market area, and there were so many people this time of day that Zack wasn't worried that this was some trick and he was going to be mugged, not that he was carrying his wallet on him or anything right now. This was just a simple hookup with a dalmatian he had met online.
Just then a dalmatian stepped out from a door leading into the alley from the restaurant. He looked to the left first then to the right towards Zack and he paused before stepping out further. His body looked like the athletic build, lean and slightly taller than the wolf was.
"Y-you must be Silver..." He said softly, a shy grin on his muzzle. "I uh, didn't expect you to be here so early. I still have an hour left in my shift." He reached up and rubbed the back of his head a bit.
"That's me, and you must be Spotty." Zack answered, steeping closer, keeping his paws in his pockets. He wasn't fooled, the canine's body language gave it away. Spotty hadn't even expected him to show up at all. "You didn't really specify a time, I was on my way back to campus and stopped here, but I can't afford to stay."
"You're a college student huh?" He said lightly, clearly just trying to make conversation and he looked back behind himself at the door he just came out of. "They just think I'm on a restroom break, maybe we should reschedule."
Zack grinned, the dog's voice betrayed his nervousness, and his keen eyes could tell based on the way the dog's tail was laying quite flat between his legs, pointed straight at the ground. "That's okay, how about I just give you a little quick treat for now and you can go back to work. We can met up another time for more, but you'll owe me, okay?"
Suddenly, the other male perked right up, his tail rising and whipping back and forth. "R-really? Sure!"
Zack stepped forward and he gently pressed his paw against the other canine's chest and pushed him back towards a dumpster. "Sit down there where we won't be seen from the street, and drop your pants." He added with a playful growl.
____________
About fifteen minutes later, Zack left the alley and rejoined the river of people flowing back and forth along the sidewalks, going east towards campus and his dorm. Spotty was still slouched behind the dumpster, panting, recovering from the most intense orgasm he had ever experienced. Given that it had been obvious to Zack it was his partner's first blowjob, he wasn't surprised. He had to slow down considerably just to make sure the dalmatian lasted as long as he did. He therefore wasn't too worried about getting any disease from him since it seemed he hadn't fooled around with anyone before at all.
Zack had tried to say goodbye, but he only got a low moan in response from the dazed dalmatian, so instead he sent a text telling Spotty to text him if he ever wanted to set up a new time and met up somewhere else, perhaps on one of his day's off when they had more time to enjoy it.
However, he couldn't stop the raging erection he had in his shorts now, pressed down his right pant leg. Thankfully they were baggy enough on his legs that it wasn't obvious as he walked, but it was uncomfortable and he was looking forward to getting to his room and some alone time to take care of it, perhaps he'd hop on Burythebone and find one of his recent roleplay partners to help out.
He left the market area and walked down two more blocks, catching yet more stares from several furs as he did and then turned through a wide open gate to an enclosed college campus. Here, several buildings rose to tower above the rest of this market area. Many of them were buildings for classes, a large library, a cafeteria and student lounge, and then a few dorm buildings.
Zack made his way to the building in the far left corner of the closed off campus, pushing open the door and taking his hood down as he entered the air conditioned interior. There were several other students in the lounge ahead of him, playing on a system they had hooked up to the TV and shouting at each other as they fought whatever is was they were fighting against in the game, but he ignored them and made his way to another door across the room to the hallway and staircase leading up into the rest of the building.
He marched his way up to the top of the three story building and went down the hallway, stopping at the farthest room. He had requested the farthest room he could from the rest of the students. The room beside his and opposite were empty so that if Zack had company or he got too loud, he wouldn't have to worry about bothering anyone.
Stepping into his room he shut and locked the door behind him. It was a typical dorm room, starting with a bed up against the far wall under the single window, a desk along the far wall, leather chair, computer, and a TV perched to the side where it was still viewable while facing the computer screen. Zack didn't have enough spare cash to buy decorations, so the walls were bare, but he didn't mind that.
This room was also all his, it had cost an extra fine to have a room to his own but he had paid it willingly. He didn't want a roomy, he liked his privacy. Given that he spent most of his time online when not exercising having a roommate would've felt constricting.
Zack sunk into his leather chair and spun towards the keyboard of his computer, tapping it awake. The screen jumped open to Burythebone.com and he started to scan through it for updates to his profile. He hadn't received any messages from any of his roleplay partners yet. He checked into the live chat rooms and there were only ten users on, much less then the usual fifty or so.
The wolf frowned. Was everyone busy with the holiday? He supposed that was possible and he sighed, leaning back and staring up at the ceiling. His parents had told him he could stay here for the holidays and he accepted, he was enjoying being out on his own, kind of. His parents gave him an allowance, paid for the college and he didn't have a job. College was his job in a way. He was only a year and a half into it, but he had been handling himself well enough and finding time to met up with furs from online for some fun was his way of reward.
Of course, his folks didn't know about that, telling them he was getting blowjobs from strangers on the internet probably would have set them off.
"Well, guess I'll just paw off then." He sighed to himself and wiggled in his chair, pulling his pants down along with his boxers under them just enough to let his now half hard redish cock free. A small bit of pre was on his tip from his earlier arousal from giving Spotty his blowjob and he rubbed it in with his thumb on his tip, shivering softly and giving a soft growl as his cock throbbed back to life and started to swell back to its full size.
Unfortunately, just then, a knock came to his door. Stifling a curse of annoyance, Zack grunted and pulled his pants back up as he called, "One moment." He said, thought still with a hint of anger at being interrupted before even starting. Shoving his cock back down his pants he approached the door and swung it open.
A well built lion stood in the hallway and Zack rolled his eyes, "Linus, what is it now?"
"Hey man did you hear?" Linus asked excitedly, bouncing on his feet in front of the wolf. Linus had quickly attached himself to Zack, although Zack never really hung out with the lion, Linus often would join him at lunch and talk idly about different topics of interest that was going on throughout the school. He was a huge gossip in Zack's opinion. He also worked out with the canine and while Zack wouldn't consider them friends, that's what he believed Linus thought of the two of them. However, the lion was friendly enough that he wasn't willing to break that illusion and hurt his feelings.
"Hear about what?" Zack said with a sigh, knowing the lion wouldn't leave him alone until he heard him out.
"Someone swears that they saw some kind of monster near the outskirts of the city." Linus said, "They want to take a search party to find it, tonight!"
"And?" Zack said while raising an eyebrow.
The lion's face fell a bit, "I was thinking you'd want to come along."
Zack sighed inwardly, closing his eyes calmly as he took a breath. Of course the lion thought he'd want to come for no other reason than that he thought so. Should he just tell him no? The wolf made a face to himself as his heart twisted at the thought. As much of an introvert he was, Zack couldn't out right disappoint others and crush their hopes.
"Yeah. Sure." Zack sighed as he reopened his eyes, "What time?"
Linus lit back up and he smiled, "It's at midnight! It's meant to be spooky and stuff."
A wild goose chase while someone probably pulls a prank on everyone that showed up, Zack thought, sure.
"All right. Where?"
"They said it was at the old warehouse on the edge of the city, ya know the one?"
The old abandoned warehouse, where once upon a time, when the city was just being built, raw building materials and the like had been stored. When it was deemed the city was large enough, the warehouse was emptied and closed down. Though the building still stood to the test of time, it was certainly the creepiest place of the city.
Zack couldn't help it, if it kept him from having to go out and got him some time alone he had to say it, "You realize this is probably a prank right?"
He was surprised Linus nodded, "Yeah, but that's what makes it fun right? Get the adrenaline going!"
The wolf shook his head and chuckled, "Fine then, I'll met you there. Now scoot, you interrupted something important." He said jokingly and started to close the door.
"See ya there bud." Linus said happily and jogged away down the hallway.
Zack sighed and closed the door, leaning against it and staring down at his pants. His erection had completely faded and the drive to paw off had faded as well. The thought of going out in the middle of the night to where some beefed up jock was hoping to scare the pants off some little girls or nerdy boys wasn't helping.
He shook his head and returned to his computer to look up the exact address of the warehouse, it was on the other side of town and he didn't have a car so he'd have to walk.
________________________
"Linus!" Zack called out as he was walking just outside of the warehouse, "Ya here?!"
It was the middle of the night now, with a full moon up in the sky, but it was cloudy, hiding the glowing circle slightly and keeping the area bathed in half darkness and half light. There were no street lights here, the warehouse was just outside the city.
"Linus!" Zack yelled out again, cupping his paws on his muzzle to try and project his voice, knowing that he was probably making himself known to whoever was waiting to pull the prank he believed was going to happen. "Come on man I came out here!"
Zack grumbled as he lowered his paws from his muzzle and his tail flicked in annoyance. Bloody lion probably chickened out without telling him. He leaned against the wall of the warehouse by the giant closed off doors that trucks used to pull through in and sighed.
The light grew around him and he stared up at the full moon with his green eyes and his body froze up. Suddenly, images flashed before him, rapidly and without sequence. A lumbering wolf like creature, that he could only say was a werewolf, leered over him, staring down at him with eyes green like his own. He heard a shout of agony, although the creature's mouth did not move, he realized it was beyond what he was seeing. Someone called out his nickname, followed by a shout of anger, and someone telling him he was an idiot.
He blinked, the vision fading and his head suddenly throbbed and he tore his gaze from the moon. With a hissing gasp, he gripped his head and shut his eyes tight.
"What the heck..." He panted, suddenly finding himself sweating and he opened his eyes slowly. The vision was gone, and he realized he was on his knees on the ground. With a paw on the wall next to him, he shakily got back up onto his feet.
Feeling dizzy, Zack decided to just go back to his dorm. If Linus wasn't going to show up there was no point in staying here. He pushed off the wall and took a few shaky steps before his head throbbed again and another vision past over his wide eyes.
He saw a werewolf surrounded by a few others. All but two of them kneeling at his feet while the one in the middle seemed scared and confused. The smaller of the two still standing was talking, but he couldn't hear any words coming from his moving muzzle.
With another throb, the vision passed and he yelled out from the pain, catching himself from hitting his muzzle into ground. He panted rapidly, his entire body shaking and he gave out a howl of pain as his eyes burned.
A sudden, rumbling growl made him look to his right and he shouted out. He fell to his side onto his rear, scrambling backwards along the ground as the creature came towards him, eyes glowing bright red and its elongated, shapeless body covered in pure darkness. It appeared as a mass blob except for a reptilian like head. For a moment, as he scrambled away, the creature stared at him, head tilting as if it was surprised, before its mouth opened and it let out a awful wail.
Zack reached and held his ears tight over his head as the sound hurt his throbbing head to hear. His eyes shut tight before the creature let out a startled shout of its own and Zack heard a grumbling roar in return and the sound of scuffling.
Not even looking, the wolf turned and rose, opening his eyes only once he was sure he wasn't looking at the creature and he started to run along the warehouse. Only when he was halfway across the building did he dare to look back. A werewolf, the white one from the vision he just had with bright green eyes like his own, was fighting the monster back. He could see the shining irises in the moonlight even from the distance between him and them.
The same loud screech from before made him wrench his head back and he yelled out. Another black creature like the first was in front of him. He wasn't able to stop in time and the beast lashed out with a tentacle of darkness and it wrapped tightly around his neck. Zack chocked and gagged, ears pinned back as he felt himself lifted up into the air.
A feral roar answered the loud screech, a clawed paw slashed between himself and the beast, cutting the tentacle. Released, Zack fell to the ground just as another, red furred werewolf engaged the shadowy creature. Zack remained paralyzed and watched as the werewolf grappled with the tentacles. But it was getting overwhelmed and soon tentacles had lashed around each of his arms and legs and lifted him up into the air. The werewolf snarled and bit at the air, making rapid, guttural sounds and growls.
The shadowy demon flung the werewolf to the ground towards Zack. The lycanthrope slammed against the ground head first, bounced forward and skidded across the ground limply. It's head slammed down between Zack's legs.
Zack screamed out in pain as one of the werewolf's fangs scratched his kneecap. It wasn't very deep, but a searing pain from the sharp cut lanced up his body and shook him from his stunned state. Scrambling up, Zack darted away along the wall the opposite way just as another, brown furred werewolf engaged the second creature.
Looking back to where the first creature had appeared, it seemed two werewolves had joined the white furred one, one black furred and the other a mix of black and gray. Together they were slashing at the darkness and as Zack found a doorway into the warehouse, he slipped inside quickly and ran as deep into the building as he could.
He stopped at a large box and moved up behind it and crouched down, shivering in fright. Never before had Zack actually let himself show fear. His eyes wide and wavering, his chest heaving with each breath. His ears flicked rapidly as he heard the howls and roars of the werewolves and creatures outside while he tried to take focus back from his fear.
Before he even could begin to calm down, the searing pain shot up his leg from his knee again and he grasped it. He hissed as he stared at the wound, realizing his blood was glowing in the darkness. Before his very eyes as they adjusted to the dim light, the wound was sealing up. However, the pain continued and he gave another cry as a throbbing motion rocked its way from his knee and throughout his entire body. His entire body pulsed and he crawled over onto his and knees.
Eyes still wide in fright, another pulse racked through his body and his paws balled into fists on the ground under him. Sweat dripped from his fur under him and he panted heavily as the next pulse hit him harder and he fell flat onto the ground on his chest.
He shouted in pain as suddenly intense heat rose from his leg. His leg muscles began to bulge and grow, hair thickening out and shining in the light that came through the windows of the warehouse. The heat crawled up and down his leg right with the growing fur and muscles. The footpaw of his left leg began to thicken and into a bigger paw like that of wild wolves.
The heat spread over his groin and his sheath thickened and his balls swelled, and the burning continued to spread over to his other leg and began crawling down. The heat also moved up along his stomach, turning the four pack into a six pack and thick, tough muscle built over his sides, giving the middle of his body a distinct slim, though still thicker shape. His fur grew thick and fluffy around his body.
He yelled out in pain as a loud crack came from both of his left leg where the scratch was on his knee. He rolled on the ground as both of his legs began to elongate, his ankles following up with more cracks of their own as his body changed from plantigrade to digitigrade.
Arching off the ground and shouting out in the pain, the heat continued to build up his body to his chest, where his pectorals swelled out and broadened his already defined chest. Soon after, the crack of bone echoed from his chest as his ribs snapped and expanded as his lungs and rapidly beating heart grew. The fur of his chest became a big fluffy crescent, far bushier than the rest of his body.
A loud howl came from his new lungs, his paws slamming into the ground at his side and his back remained arched as the heat spread down his arms, fur growing thicker along them and as it reached his elbows, they started to elongate like his legs had and his elbow bent outward sharply. His forearm grew longer as well and the heat finally reached his paws, his fingers growing sharper, longer claws, dragging across the metal floor of the warehouse as the growth pushed them across it.
The heat spread up his face and this was the most painful part. His brain throbbed as those pulses assailed it and his eyes snapped open and he howled out in a ferocious snarl. His muzzle lengthened only slightly, lips curling up as his teeth, however, grew out long and sharp. His muzzle widened as well to make room for the growing teeth and his cheek bones cracked as it happened. His ears straightened out as they were flat against his head, getting marked with a tuff of his silver fur at the very tips. Fur grew down the back of his head down his neck like a mane, reaching halfway down his back along his spine, thinning and tapering at the end.
The heat faded, but the pulsations continued to race through his body as more muscle continued to grow and he rolled back over onto all fours. Zack tried to rise up but his body wouldn't obey him as it was shaking and twitching. His tail lashed through the air, much longer and bushier than before. His clothing strained to contain his form, tightly fitting his new body and barely doing so.
Another flash crossed his vision. The pain vanished as this vision seemed more deep and he glanced around, suddenly standing in a void. A werewolf with silver fur stood to his left, its tail wagging slowly and with deep green eyes, looking at him from the side. Slowly, he turned towards it, and it turned toward him as well. Zack stepped forward, and so did it.
Slowly, they took steps closer to each other, the wolf and the werewolf. Eventually, they stood just a few feet away, the wolf staring into the eyes of the werewolf. Not in control of himself, his paw raised up and so did the lycanthrope's. He pushed it forward and his paw met the werewolf's. He stared at where his paw met the others and he blinked. Suddenly, his paw matched the fingers of the werewolf, his arm as well and he realized that he looking at a mirror.
He blinked again and shouted as the pain returned, back from the void and on the floor again he arched his head to the ceiling with a loud howl. His tail lashed as a final pulse rushed through his body and added just a final bit of muscle all through out, his hoodie ripping apart and his pants popping open to fall under him, leaving him only in his fur.
His eyes drifted and his howl died down as he fainted, barely catching the shape of a figure in the darkness that was coming towards him before unconscioness claimed him.

Luran padded up to the newly transformed fur laying before them and his eyes widened. He had thought he had seen the flash of green eyes when he had seen the wolf, but now he was certain just from seeing the silver hair. White at the roots and dipped in gray at the tips.
Urie came up beside him, his own eyes fixated on the new werewolf as well and he breathed in surprise, "That is him. Isn't it?"
Luran stayed silent, the four werewolves behind him holding their breaths slightly as their leader kneeled slowly beside the silver furred lycanthrope and gently waved the fluffy fur atop his head out of his eyes. They were closed, but the picture of his face flashed across his eyes and Luran grunted as a soft throb traveled through his head.
That confirmed it for the Alpha, "This is him...it must be. He saw the demons."
"He saw the demons? I thought he was running from us?" The third werewolf, black furred, whispered slightly behind Urie said in astonishment.
Luran shook his head, "He saw the creature, and it reacted to his seeing it. That's why I jumped in to stop it from attacking him."
The fourth werewolf, bright red furred, groaned and was rubbing his head clear, "This is my fault...My fang slashed him when I fell on him..."
"No Tarn, Perhaps this was meant to happen." Urie said, "This could be the first good thing to happen in days for us."
"Yes..." Luran rose up and he nodded to the third werewolf, "Shade."
The Alpha didn't need to continue, "Yeah, I got him." Shade came forward and bent down to start picking up the silver werewolf. "Opph, he's a heavy one..." He stated, but he managed to wrest him up over his shoulder, arm up over the limp male's waist.
"And a big one too. His muscles are huge, and look at the size of those balls. " The fifth werewolf, the black and white mix, gave a chuckle and Urie gave him a bit of a glare that silenced him.
Luran shook his head with a bit of a grin with mild amusement from Raze's comment, "Let's get out of here quickly, someone will have heard those howls he gave off."
Luran turned and Urie stepped beside him as the other three followed him.
"Before he saw the creature, what was happening to him?" His mate asked softly, just only loud enough for the others to hear.
"He looked up at the moon." Raze thought aloud, "Then gripped his head and started yelling, he looked like he was in a lot of pain."
"He suffered through his first vision." Luran nodded as he walked.
"A vision? But he-"
"He saw the demons. He had a vision. He has the eyes of a werewolf. Of an Alpha."
Urie stared back and forth at the new werewolf slung over Shade's shoulder and back to his mate a few times, "He has eyes like yours? You didn't tell us anything about that." It was true, while Luran's visions had showed him the wolf with green eyes, he didn't tell anyone in the Pack about that detail.
"Because I didn't want you to doubt it." Luran returned, stopping just before the doorway out of the warehouse and turning back to his fellow pack members. "You all believe what I have, there's only ever one Alpha." Luran stared from Urie to the others, lingering for a second on each one to stare into their eyes. "Would you have followed me if I told you something as crazy that we were searching for a second Alpha?"
Urie instantly stepped forth, "Of course I would!"
"Of course you would, Urie." Loran said gently, "But the rest of you? How many did we start with?"
"There had been fifteen of us..." Raze said sadly.
"Out of the hundred and fifty strong the Pack was, only fifteen choose to follow me on this quest...We've lost so many to these demons." Luran continued. "I told you we were looking to find someone special to help us. Who is more special than a second Alpha?"
Shade stepped up, his red eyes gleaming, "I would have still followed, these demons need to be vanquished. They can't be allowed to rise up and start swallowing the world."
Tarn nodded as well, his blue eyes filled with wisdom. "Yes, you've never lied before, and I would've believed you had you said it to begin with."
Raze thumped his chest with a paw and smiled, his own blue eyes shining with excitement instead, "And I live for any adventure!"
Luran smiled and his tail wagged slightly behind himself, "Thank you, you four, I couldn't ask for better companions in this trying trail."
"We'll get through this." Urie said with confidence. Then he turned his head to the silver furred wolf again and he continued, "But...you said he had a vision. Does that mean that you feel that same pain whenever you have one?"
Luran nodded and turned back to the door and opened it to the outside night air. "Yes, but my training has taught me to block out the pain and endure, he has not had that training. I suspect perhaps this has been the first time he's looked up with his eyes on a night of the full moon."
"Are you going to train him?"
"All of us will train him. As Shade said, he is a big one. I do not think he will be a normal werewolf."
"I think you're right about that." Shade said suddenly, his voice full of surprise and the four others turned to him once more. Before the five werewolves' eyes, the silver furred, newly transformed wolf began losing mass, his body shifting and bones making snapping noises as they rearranged themselves.
In as little as ten seconds, the hulking werewolf Shade had been carrying was now back to being his normal fur wolf self. Shade moved him to cradle him in his arms instead of on his shoulder and stared in surprise. "He changed back..."
Raze gave a hum, "And he's still a pretty big boy..." this was followed up by Urie hitting him lightly upside the head.
"He can shift back and forth." Loran said, ignoring Raze as even his own voice filled with awe. "He's exactly what we need."
