Festival Dance

Eaglefeather hummed quietly to herself as she softly padded along the path. The sun shone down from a clear blue sky, warm against the dark spots on her sleekly furred form. Slim of build, the leopard had inherited her mother's athletic shape, which did little to put curves into her short buckskin jacket, or into a skirt, when she chose to wear one. Today being one of the hottest of the summer however, she had decided on a somewhat masculine loincloth instead. Let some of the village elders tut if they would, at least it allowed the gentle breeze to cool more of her as she walked towards the forest.

"Hey, Feath, where you going?"

The leopard stopped, turning to see a wolf walking towards her. Silver-Rain, or just Rain to her friends, was about the same height as herself, a little heavier, a touch more rounded in shape, filling out her short skirt and top a little more than the leopard. Overall, Eaglefeather would gladly have traded her slimness of limb for the more rounded buttocks of the wolf.

"Um, nowhere..." she mumbled, finding herself blushing for no very good reason, the white fur of her cheeks taking on a distinctly pink tinge. She'd been doing that a lot around Silver-Rain recently, and wasn't quite sure why.

"How come you need a basket to go nowhere?" the wolf stuck her tongue out, her large blue eyes sparkling in amusement as she put a hand on her hip and regarded the leopard, which for some reason intensified the feline's blush.

Eaglefeather looked down, remembering she was carrying a small wicker basket. "Oh, um, I was going to look for wild strawberries."

"Hah, good luck, I think Tallgrass has eaten all of them within three miles," the wolf grumbled. "Still," she produced a basket of her own, which she had been holding behind her. "Since you ain't the only one who's dad has a regular hankering for something sweet, I guess we might as well look together, eh?"

The leopard smiled. She'd have been glad of Silver-Rain's company for any reason, truth be told. "Sure," she nodded. Together, they turned to follow the little path into the woods, talking amiably about the weather, which of the villagers had made most of an idiot of themselves recently, and the upcoming festival at full moon in two days time.

"I bet my father tries to get me to choose a partner for the dance again," the leopard grumbled.

"Well why don't you?" the wolf asked, hopping lightly over a small patch of mud.

"Because they're all jerks?" Eaglefeather made a face, and the wolf laughed.

"We do seem to have a prime crop of butt grabbers, don't we?" she giggled, causing the leopard's frown to break into a smile.

"I dunno," Eaglefeather sighed, looking resigned. "Maybe I'll ask Whitefur."

"Um, Feath, he's pushing eighty..." the wolf looked uncertain.

"I know, but at least if he makes a grab I can dodge before it connects," the leopard laughed, padding slightly off to one side of the track to peer behind a tree where she had found strawberries before. "What a lovely crop of leaves," she grumbled, returning to the path. Silver-Rain shrugged and they kept walking deeper into the trees.

"I suppose we could take a cart to the next valley," the wolf suggested. "See if they came up with any better males than our lot did."

The leopard thought for a moment. "I dunno, Rain. I'm not a one to go up to the first guy I like the look of and ask him to the festival with me. I want to know what he's like first, what he likes, what he doesn't like, what he's good at, what he's bad at..."

"Whether he'll make a grab for your boobs," the wolf interrupted.

"That too," the leopard confessed. "Just for once it'd be nice to be groped by someone I didn't consider an ass-eep!" she jumped about a foot in the air as the wolf rested her hand on the leopard's nearest buttock.

"Is that any better?" Silver-Rain's grin nearly reached her ears.

Eaglefeather eyed her friend critically for a moment, then relented and smiled. "Yes," she stuck her tongue out.

"Oh, I shall have to do that more often then. After all, what are friends for?" the wolf winked, making her friend blush again. "Hey," she continued, "We could go to the festival together. That should stop your dad pushing you to find a partner," she giggled.

The leopard joined in with the laugh after a moment of hesitation, trying to hide a brief spike of nervousness. Why should a silly suggestion like that make her nervous, she wondered. She watched the wolf scamper a few paces off the path, and bend down to poke a small strawberry plant, her tail raised in counterbalance. She looked at the gentle curve of the lupine's behind, and turned away, clearing her throat softly.

"Something tells me my father wouldn't be at all happy with that," she said, trying to pick up the conversation again.

"What, he doesn't like little me?" the wolf stood, and looked over her shoulder, batting her eyelashes. She turned and sauntered back to the path, intentionally swaying her hips, three small red berries at the bottom of her basket. "And here was my mother telling me I'd make someone a perfect partner one day," she pouted, her eyes sparkling.

"I suspect your mother meant you'd make a good partner for a male," the leopard said, avoiding looking at the pout. "And a wolf, at that," she added as an afterthought.

"Hard to tell," Silver-Rain shrugged, sounding half serious. "She's very open minded about such things. I suspect she'd be happy as long as I was, male or female, wolf or not."

"Hmm, lucky you," the leopard sighed. "My parents aren't ones to hold with 'alternative lifestyles'..."

"I didn't think that would bother you," the wolf tilted her head to one side. "I always took you for being on the straight and narrow."

The leopard found a whole new level of blushing that she had hitherto been unaware of, feeling like her ears were joining her cheeks in reddening. "I - I am," she stammered. "I think... I mean... erm..." She thought? What sort of a thing was that to say? She mentally slapped herself on the forehead.

"That it would be nice to feel you had the choice," the wolf filled in for her, smiling. She wondered if that had just been a slip of the tongue, or something the leopard had said instinctively from her heart without letting her head think it over first.

"Er, yeah..." Eaglefeather found herself looking at her feet.

"It's nice to feel that way," the wolf smiled, bending down to put her face in her friend's line of sight again.

"Well, it doesn't matter anyway," Eaglefeather mumbled, still casting her gaze around the ground, trying to look as if leaf litter and mossy tree roots were actually interesting, her tail curling nervously this way and that.

"Maybe it doesn't, maybe it does," Silver-Rain said cryptically. "I think it's important to feel that you have a choice. It's a basic freedom." Seeing the look her friend was giving her, she giggled. "Don't get me wrong, I like males, ok? One day, I hope to meet one that I like enough to be more than friends with," she paused for a moment, then continued in a rush, "But in the mean time, I'm not going to rule out females altogether," she said, finding herself hurrying the words out so that she wouldn't back out of saying them, a sudden urge to admit this to the leopard overtaking her.

"Oh," the leopard failed utterly to find anything better to say, finding herself unable to meet her friend's gaze, her cheeks still pink, ears flattening back against her head. "Oh," she said again. "Ah..."

A brief silence fell, then, "I'm sorry, Feath," the wolf lowered her eyes. "I've made you uncomfortable, I shouldn't have said that..."

"No," Eaglefeather raised her eyes, forestalling whatever the wolf had been about to say. "No, not at all. Why would it make me uncomfortable?" she asked, smiling gently, feeling the heat receding from her face as her embarrassment was replaced by the realisation that her friend had just confided something very secret to her.

"You already said your dad wouldn't stand for it..." the wolf mumbled, suddenly finding it was she who was blushing, wondering if she should have spoken so openly.

"I'm not my father," the leopard stepped closer, gently resting a hand on the wolf's shoulder. "And it doesn't bother me, or make me uncomfortable," she smiled.

Silver-Rain looked up into the gentle smile, suddenly remembering that this was her close friend, and that of all people, the person she could speak candidly to. She returned the smile, nodding. "Thanks, Feath. I'm... glad I told you that now."

"I'm glad you told me, too," the leopard said softly, still smiling. She peered down into the wolf's basket. "I think we'd better get a move on," she said, raising her eyebrows at the three berries.

"Yeah, sure," the wolf turned and started along the path again.

About an hour later, they sat down on a mossy boulder and compared baskets again. Behind them, the stream that ran through the forest plummeted off a rocky outcropping, falling a dozen or so feet before it continued on its way. Years uncounted had worn the splash zone into a pool of considerable size, the crystal clear water shimmering in the dappled light that made it through the leaves of the forest canopy, the sandy bottom seeming to move like liquid gold.

"Not the best of days," Eaglefeather sighed, shuffling her feet in the leaves and twigs that had collected around the boulder. "I think you were right about Tallgrass eating them all..."

"Ah well, it's something at least," the wolf shrugged, carefully sharing out the contents of the two baskets equally.

Eaglefeather nodded, still a little disheartened by the feeble harvest. She stood, pacing over to the edge of the pool, away from the waves of the fall where the ground became grassy in the absence of nearby trees. She dipped the toes of one foot into the water, stirring them around. "Mmm."

"Nice?" the wolf looked over her shoulder.

"Very," the leopard said, sitting down on the grass, letting both feet dangle beneath the shimmering surface.

"Well, that's them shared out," Silver-Rain stood up, padding over to stand next to her friend. She looked up at the soft light filtering through the trees on the sunward side, at the patch of clear blue sky above the clearing. Even in the shade of the forest, the day's heat was daunting, and the lack of a breeze among the trees made it all the worse. "I could do with a bath," she announced. Without further ado, she unbuttoned her top, and tossed it onto a relatively clean rock nearby.

Eaglefeather's eyebrows rose a little as the wolf continued, unbuttoning her skirt, sliding it down her silver grey legs, adding it to the pile with her top. Standing naked by the water's edge, the lupine stretched luxuriously, hands reaching for the sky overhead as her toes curled. Catching her friend's eye, she raised an eyebrow. "What, you think I'm gonna wear underclothes in this heat?" the leopard blushed slightly, not sure where to point her eyes.

"Something wrong, oh straight 'n' narrow one?" the wolf chuckled, her eyes twinkling. "It's ok to look at another female you know, and if I had a problem with you seeing me, I wouldn't be standing here."

The leopard made several false starts, finally meeting her friend's gaze, finding herself drawn by the wolf's liquid blue eyes. Eaglefeather's eyes ran almost automatically down the wolf's body, across the silver grey fur of her limbs, the white fur of her front. The slender curve of her neck, the gentle slopes of her shoulders, the fur under and around her armpits a little dampened from sweating in the heat, showing up as the wolf stretched her arms over her head as if on show, unashamed and confident.

The soft breasts, a little rounder and fuller than Eaglefeather's own. The smooth stomach, and like the breasts, just a little more here than the leopard had, but still pleasant to look upon. A ring of sweat dampened fur above the wolf's hips where her skirt had pressed. The hips, slightly wider and rounder than the leopard's, the smooth v shape between them, the fur a little longer and thicker here. Smooth thighs, the wash of white fur continuing from her stomach, down the insides of her legs, almost to her knees. Gently curving shins, leading to slim ankles and soft feet with the typically broad toes of lupines.

Eaglefeather swallowed, letting her gaze return to her friend's eyes. The wolf smiled, winked, turned, and performed a shallow dive into the water, emerging seconds later on the far side.

"Coming in?" she called out over the sound of the falling water. The leopard hesitated, queried her own hesitation, then shrugged and began to unbutton her jacket. As she let the soft leather fall from her shoulders, she sighed at the cool feel of the air against her sweat-dampened fur. She became aware of the wolf watching her, treading water at the centre of the pool, and found herself blushing, wondering why it was that her friend had so little trouble in being naked in front of her, and yet she herself felt so embarrassed to do the same. Somehow she felt so gawky and angular with Silver-Rain watching.

The wolf looked at her friend, wondering what was going through her head. Surely this wasn't the first time she'd have seen another female naked? Yet she did seem very uncomfortable, so self conscious and nervous.

"What's wrong, Feath?" the lupine paddled across to the side of the pool next to her friend.

"Nothing..." the leopard mumbled, folding her jacket and setting it to one side, but making no move to remove her loincloth, or to enter the water.

The wolf looked at her for a moment more, then hoisted herself out of the water, kneeling down next to the leopard, leaning forwards to put her nose a few inches from the feline's ear.

"Feath, you're not embarrassed to have me see you, are you?" she asked softly.

The leopard looked at her friend's eyes for a moment, then lowered her gaze. She nodded slightly.

"Why?" Silver-Rain sounded genuinely surprised, sitting back on her heels. "There's nothing wrong with the way you look." The leopard said nothing, and the wolf continued. "This isn't because of what I said earlier, is it?"

The feline's cheeks went pink again. "N-no," she stammered. "It's... Well I'm not... not much to look at..."

"What are you talking about?" the wolf admonished. "You're beautiful."

"I'm all straight lines," the leopard protested, hanging her head.

"Rubbish," the wolf snorted.

"It's true," Eaglefeather mumbled unhappily.

"Says who?"

"Some of the guys in the village... I can hear them sometimes when I pass."

The wolf's expression softened. "Feath, there is nothing wrong with the way you're built. You're not so different from me, do I seem bothered?"

"You do have more though..."

"Barely," the wolf protested.

"It's enough," the leopard folder her arms self-consciously across her small breasts as she spoke.

"It's unimportant is what it is," the wolf said gently. "Nobody worth caring about would give a damn. I think you're beautiful as you are," she found herself blushing as she said this.

The leopard looked up at her friend, a trace of the usual spark returning to her eyes. "Really?" she asked, hopefully.

"Of course," the wolf chuckled. Leaning forwards again, she put her arms around the leopard, dripping water down her back as she did so.

"You really don't think I'm..."

"I think," the wolf pronounced gravely, not letting her finish. "That you have just the right amount of curves." She ran a hand over the soft fur on the leopard's hip. "Here."

Moved the hand to stroke gently along the feline's spotted thigh. "Here."

Moved the hand back to lie on Eaglefeather's nearest buttock. "Here."

Moved her other hand to rest on the leopard's flat stomach, fingers gently stroking through the soft white fur. "Here."

The wolf paused for a moment. "And here." The hand on the leopard's stomach slid gently up her chest to cup one of her small breasts, Silver-Rain watching her friend carefully for any sign that she wasn't happy at the action.

Eaglefeather purred, closing her eyes, and raising one hand to rest upon the soft white hand the wolf had laid on her chest. The wolf smiled.

"Overall verdict," the wolf whispered softly into the feline's ear. "I think you're very attractive," she giggled quietly.

Eaglefeather opened her eyes and turned her head to face her friend, finding Silver-Rain's face only a few inches from her own.

"Rain..." she said in such a quiet voice the wolf could barely hear her. "I think I have a confession to make..."

The wolf tilted her head slightly, smiling gently in encouragement.

"I... I think you're v-very attractive, too," the leopard said, stuttering a little, the colour rising to her cheeks again, clasping the wolf's hand tighter to her chest.

The wolf's smile broadened. "What happened to little miss straight and narrow?" she asked playfully.

"I think she's been around you too long," the leopard murmured. "I've suspected for a long time you know."

"Me, or you?" Silver-Rain raised an eyebrow.

Eaglefeather giggled. "Both of us, to be honest," she found herself unable to meet her friend's eyes. "I'd noticed you tended to look at girls the same way you look at guys..."

The wolf flushed, her white cheeks going pink. "I make it that obvious?" she asked.

"Not to anyone else, but I've known you long enough to spot these things," the leopard chuckled, looking up at her friend again. "Most people focus on the faces of the same gender, you tend to take a good look at everyone, from head to foot. As for me... well, I think one day I would like a male, a husband, but..." she trailed off.

"But you're open to alternatives until you find one you like?" the wolf supplied softly.

Eaglefeather nodded shyly, her eyes meeting and holding those of her friend. Silver-Rain looked back into the leopard's gentle green eyes, her breath short as she leaned forwards slowly until their noses touched.

They kissed.

Slowly, gently, with both affection and passion, their lips sliding together smoothly. Eaglefeather closed her eyes as she felt the wolf's tongue pressing against her teeth, opening her mouth to allow access. She sighed softly through her nose as the lupine's smooth tongue touched against hers, feeling as if all her troubles and worries were melting away as the intimate contact continued.

The wolf watched the leopard's eyes close, smiling into their kiss, pressing her tongue into the feline's mouth as she felt her teeth open, beginning to realise as she did so that she had wanted to do this for a very long time. She slowly ran her hand up the leopard's back, caressing the soft spotty fur, until she could press her palm against the back of the feline's head, drawing her deeper into the kiss.

Eaglefeather felt a shiver run through her as the wolf's hand ruffled her fur, purred softly as she felt the lupine run her tongue around her teeth, exploring the warm confines of her mouth without hesitation or reservation. She felt like she could just melt against the wolf, and stay there, warm and comfortable.

Silver-Rain watched the leopard's face as an expression of contentment stole across it, softly stroking the back of her head. She tickled the roof of the feline's mouth with the tip of her tongue, feeling the leopard shiver slightly. Slowly, she allowed the fingers of the hand that rested on the leopard's chest to spread, a gentle sensation as the fur flowed across her soft pads.

The leopard purred more deeply as she felt the wolf's gentle caress. She opened her eyes as the tongue slowly withdrew, and found an expression of such gentle affection looking back at her that she felt physically weak. She giggled softly as the wolf moved the hand from the back of her head to caress the tickly places along her sides.

Silver-Rain smiled as the leopard giggled and gently slapped her hand away. Removing her hand from the leopard's chest, she doubled the attack on Eaglefeather's flanks, her fingers repeatedly finding all the tickly spots until the feline fell sideways away from her, giggling helplessly, fighting for breath. Following up the attack, the wolf sprang forwards, placing herself on hands and knees above the giggling leopard, one knee to either side of the feline's legs. Gently she nuzzled Eaglefeather's shoulder, letting her know that it was safe to get her breath back.

The leopard gasped for air, grateful for the respite. She rolled onto her back, looking up at the wolf. "Bitch," she giggled.

"Well, duh," the wolf stuck her tongue out, then licked the feline's nose, making her laugh.

Eaglefeather gazed up into the wolf's blue eyes, lifting her arms to place her hands on the back of the lupine's head, pulling her down into another gentle kiss, this time pushing her tongue into Silver-Rain's mouth. The wolf hummed softly, wishing she was built to purr as she felt the leopard's tongue press against her lips, explore her front teeth, touch against her own tongue.

As they broke from the kiss, Silver-Rain leaned her head down until she could whisper into the leopard's ear. "Feath, I'd like to do more than just kiss you, if you're OK with that," she murmured.

The feline shivered at the words, an electric thrill running through her body as she nodded, pressing the side of her face against the wolf's, the silver grey fur still damp from her swim. Silver-Rain hummed again, gently licking the leopard's ear before raising herself up again. Gently kissing the feline's muzzle, she began inching her way down the leopard's body, planting delicate kisses over her chin, down her neck, along her sternum.

Reaching the leopard's soft breasts, the wolf nuzzled the fur between them, inhaling deeply, the warm scent of her friend strong in her lupine nostrils. Lifting one hand from the ground, she rested it lightly on one of the soft mounds, almost able to encase it completely within her spread fingers, the leopard's pink nipple pressing gently into her palm.

The leopard purred richly as the wolf stroked her chest, her touch feather light as she moved her hand across the feline's breast, the small pink nipple standing to attention as the soft skin passed over it.

After a few moments, the wolf pulled her hand away, leaning down to gently nuzzle the leopard's other breast, circling around the nipple, planting occasional kisses upon the soft white fur. Eaglefeather gasped softly as Silver-Rain's lips zeroed in upon the pink circle at the centre, descending gently to take the nipple into her mouth, her tongue softly licking at the tip as her teeth grazed the bare flesh around. The leopard's hands searched the ground for a moment before locating the wolf's wrists, holding them tightly, urging her to continue.

Smiling, Silver-Rain lifted her head, blowing gently across the tender pink flesh, making the leopard moan at the tickly cold sensation. The wolf moved her head, treating the leopard's other breast to the same tender treatment, not releasing her until she felt the feline begin to squirm beneath her, her hips shifting across the soft grass as the tension built within her, legs instinctively trying to spread but being contained by the wolf's knees.

Gently disengaging Eaglefeather's hands from her wrists, the wolf resumed her slow movement down the leopard's body, nuzzling gently here and there, poking her nose into the feline's navel and snorting, making her shake with laughter. As she moved, she lifted and carefully centred one of her knees, bringing it down gently against the leopard's legs, the feline instinctively moving them apart to make room. Smiling, the wolf nuzzled slightly below the feline's navel, moving the other knee so that the leopard's legs spread out to either side of hers as she crouched over her friend.

The wolf paused for a moment, then shuffled forwards again. "Of course, there is one small matter to deal with, if it's ok..." one hand gently tugged at the cord holding the leopard's loincloth around her waist.

"You really need to ask?" the feline enquired softly, her green eyes sparkling.

"Not really," the wolf moved the hand to rest between the leopard's soft breasts. "But it seemed polite," she grinned, dropping her head and nuzzling the small mounds again, before working her way down again, lifting her muzzle, moving as slowly as before, but without the contact.

Eaglefeather squirmed under her friend, in a delicious agony of anticipation. She desperately wanted her friend to touch her, anywhere, everywhere, and she bit her lip, panting slightly. She soon felt the wolf's fingers gently untying the knot that that held the string of her loincloth in place, and leaned her head back against the soft grass, purring as she felt it tugged out from under her and tossed to one side.

Silver-Rain smiled, shuffling a little further down, planting a soft kiss on the last inch of fur above the leopard's last remaining clothing. Playfully taking the edge of the soft cotton in her teeth, she tugged on it, slowly peeling it away from the soft white fur. Sitting back on her heels, watching the leopard's face intently, she tugged the cloth away entirely, pulling it up from under her friend's bottom, flicking her head to toss it to one side as the leopard raised her head to look at her. They held the eye contact for several moments before the feline nodded, a little shyly, a pink flush in her cheeks. The wolf shuffled back a little further, lying forwards onto her stomach, dropping her muzzle until her nose was a few inches away from the leopard's softest places, and lowered her gaze.

The white fur of the leopard's stomach continued back between her legs until it reached her tail, glistening a little with a slight sheen of sweat, and separated by soft, pink skin. The feline's softly furred outer lips were parted slightly, giving a clear view of the deeper pink folds of tender flesh behind. At the top of her delicately pink entrance, a tiny bump of flesh, standing up as if in anticipation. Below, just before the leopard's thick tail emerged, the delicate pink pucker of her tailhole.

"I told you you were beautiful," the wolf smiled, looking up the feline's body, meeting her friend's gaze as the leopard peered down, looking slightly anxious.

Silver-Rain closed the remaining distance, gently kissing the soft pink lips before her. The leopard moaned softly, her head falling back to the grass as the pleasure of her friend's words and actions coursed through her.

The wolf grinned at her friend's reaction, gently running a finger along the edge of the leopard's outer lips, running the full circuit around the tender skin, rewarded by a soft cry. She moved the finger inwards slightly, tracing the darker pink edges of the feline's inner lips, top, to bottom, to top, smiling as the feline pulled up a considerable amount of grass as her fists clenched. She leaned her head forward, and began gently lapping at the soft folds of flesh.

Eaglefeather purred warmly, moaning now and again as that soft lupine tongue explored the most private places of her body, sending little tingles of pleasure shooting through her. She whimpered as the tongue slid over her little nubbin, the most sensitive place on her entire body, her hips instinctively pressing against the wolf's muzzle.

The lupine chuckled softly as the leopard arched her back, trying to prolong the contact. After a few more licks, she shifted her attention, determined to draw out the feline's pleasure. She ran a finger around the leopard's inner lips again, allowing her finger to press in up to the first knuckle, making the feline squirm.

"Someone likes diddling herself," Silver-Rain chuckled gleefully in a sing song voice, the lack of any maidenhead and the firm knowledge that the leopard had never been with a male giving her a kick of amusement. The leopard raised her head, her cheeks burning, her mouth open as if to comment, but the lupine cut her off. "Well I suppose that makes two of us, eh, Feath?" the wolf smiled warmly and winked. Eaglefeather grinned sheepishly, her head dropping back to the grass with a soft gasp as the wolf pressed her lips to the feline's heated flesh again, kissing her intimately before pulling back once more, running her fingers across the warm skin.

Eaglefeather mewled softly as the wolf explored her with her fingertips, the feline's hips shifting as each little touch seemed to send jolts of pleasure through her, leaving her panting for breath. She stifled a shout as she felt the wolf's finger press into her, as deep as it would go, wriggling slightly and tickling her inner walls.

The lupine gently licked the small nubbin at the top of her entrance, twisting the finger she held inside the feline so the soft pad would brush against that sensitive place along her front wall. Eaglefeather did shout this time, coming out with several words that made the wolf giggle, and the feline clap her hands over her own muzzle in shame. Smiling, the wolf decided to let her finger stay still, and bent to the task of regularly licking the leopard's most sensitive spot, making her moan softly in time with the licks.

It didn't take to long before Eaglefeather was squirming continuously, her legs spread wide, her feet kicking across the ground. "R-Rain!" she gasped, her head pressed back into the grass, her back arching. "I'm-I'm g-gonna..."

"You go for it gal," the wolf chuckled between licks. She reached up with her free hand, finding the leopard's own, and gripping it tight, their fingers lacing together. Eaglefeather's other hand gripped her friend's ear lightly, pulling her tighter against her sensitive areas.

"I-I... AHH!" whatever the leopard had been about to say was lost, as was her control as her climax blossomed within her, sudden and intense, her legs trembling, her hand squeezing the wolf's as if her life depended on not losing the contact. Silver-Rain smiled as the leopard's hips pressed up to meet her lips, continuing her diligent licking, twisting her finger back and forth between the silken folds as the feline's inner walls rhythmically clenched down on it.

Gradually the leopard wound down from her peak, her legs relaxing, her hands unclenching, releasing the wolf's ear and fingers from their grasp. With a final soft kiss to the feline's soft flesh, Silver-Rain crawled up her body, leaning over her, nuzzling her friends face lightly.

The leopard opened her eyes, looked deep into the wolf's, and grabbed her head, pulling the lupine into a passionate kiss. Caught a little off guard, Silver-Rain had to support her weight awkwardly, mostly by lying chest to chest with the leopard, their soft breasts pressing against each other.

"How come," Eaglefeather said, breaking the kiss and looking at her friend. "You never told me... you liked me this much... sooner?" she chuckled as she panted. "To think... I've been missing out... on this!" The leopard's head relaxed back against the grass, her eyes closing.

"Well, they say good things are worth waiting for," the wolf giggled, sliding off the leopard to lie next to her, working an arm under the feline's head and across her chest, hugging her.

"Well... this sure was," the leopard murmured, turning onto her side to snuggle up to the wolf, realising as she did so that she was now very hot and sweaty, but that the lupine was still just damp enough from her swim to be refreshingly cool to the touch. She took a deep breath, feeling very sleepy all of a sudden. Strange, she though, she had never considered herself a falls-asleep-after-a-climax person, at least she never had been when on her own, but there was something about being with Silver-Rain that made her feel so very warm, and safe, and secure...

"Feath?"

"Mmm?"

"Feath!"

"Wha...?" the leopard opened her eyes to find the wolf's face looking down at her.

"C'mon, Feath, you're gonna have to move or I'm gonna lose my arm," the wolf said, a slightly pained tone to her voice.

Realising how she was lying, the leopard sat up quickly, and watched the wolf do the same, wincing and rubbing her arm as the circulation flooded back into it. After a few moments, she stood up, stretching, a last few droplets of water falling from her silver fur. She exchanged smiles with the leopard for a moment, before sitting down at the edge of the water, dangling her feet into the coolness. Eaglefeather turned, shuffling until she sat behind the wolf, her legs stretched out to either side of the lupine's bottom, her arms around her. Yawning, she wrapped her arms around the wolf, resting her head on one silver furred shoulder.

"How long did you let me sleep?" she asked softly.

"Not long," Silver-Rain leaned her head against the leopard's. "Your head weighs too much to have it on my arm long term." She turned her head, gently kissing the side of the leopard's muzzle.

"Really?" Eaglefeather playfully dug her chin into the wolf's shoulder, making them both lean dangerously until she relented. "Must be all the brains I pack in there," she smiled.

"How about packing it with something other than clay?" the wolf chuckled, reaching behind her and hugging her friend.

"Touché," the feline sighed, hugging the wolf tighter, one hand roaming upwards a little, the fingers tracing the underside of the lupine's breasts.

"Thinking about something?" the wolf giggled.

"Thinking," the leopard said, pretending to look up at the trees on the other side of the pool as her hand fully cupped the wolf's small breast, exploring the soft roundness. Slightly larger than her own, perhaps slightly softer too, the nipple pressing firm against her palm.

The wolf shifted slightly, taking a deep breath, leaning back against the feline. "Don't think for too long..." she whispered, her head falling back onto the leopard's shoulder.

Eaglefeather nuzzled her neck gently. "Just thought I'd try to catch your interest with my well thought out choice of topic," she said coyly, her fingers moving to massage the wolf's other breast.

"You 'caught my interest'... a good... half hour ago," the wolf said, panting softly. "And it's still well and truly hooked." One of her hands found the leopard's free one as it rested on her stomach and nudged it downwards slightly. Compliantly, the feline allowed it to be moved, but stopped when she reached the wolf's lower belly, massaging the soft fur there gently, nuzzling teasingly at her friend's neck.

The wolf let out a small whine of frustration, pushing at the leopard's hand, trying to get her to go lower. Eaglefeather giggled quietly, but didn't make her friend wait long, sliding her fingers down to where the wolf most wanted them.

Silver-Rain sighed happily as the leopard's fingers made contact with the softness between her legs, arching her back and spreading her thighs slightly in encouragement. The leopard purred as the wolf leaned back against her, hugging her tight with one arm as her other hand gently explored her intimate areas, working slowly and by touch alone. The wolf's 'interest' did indeed seem to be well and truly caught, the soft skin under the leopard's fingers warm and moist.

The wolf gasped as Eaglefeather ran a finger from the back of her entrance to the front, her finger lingering on the small nubbin of flesh at the top. The leopard smiled and gently squeezed the wolf's captive breast, twisting her palm over the hard pink centre even as the other hand gently explored the soft folds of flesh lower down. She nuzzled the wolf's neck as she cautiously slid a finger inside, on alert for any sign of displeasure.

Silver-Rain hunched her hips forwards slightly, her head lolling back on the leopard's shoulder, her eyes closed as her friend touched her most private places. "Mmmhmmm..." she hummed happily.

Eaglefeather smiled, withdrawing the finger, seeking to concentrate on the most sensitive place of all, sensing that her friend was not in the mood to be teased. She swept her long feline tail under the arch of her knee, draping it gently around Silver-Rain's leg, making the wolf hum softly again, and reach down to stroke the soft spotty fur. The leopard stroked somewhere equally soft but quite without fur, and the wolf's hands jerked apart, landing on the leopard's knees, gripping hard.

"Like that, do we?" the leopard whispered into the lupine's ear, and the wolf nodded emphatically, feeling herself warming rapidly under the rapid fire strokes and touches the leopard was applying. It wasn't more than a few minutes before the wolf could sense an imminent conclusion to this pleasant activity. She was about to open her mouth to warn her friend when suddenly the leopard stopped.

"Feath?" the wolf looked at her questioningly, panting hard as the leopard stood up.

"I just realised, I never got my bath," the leopard said, grinning and lowering herself down into the water, giggling as the cool water worked its way between her toes. She turned, still in the shallows, kneeling between the wolf's spread knees. She leaned forwards and nuzzled Silver-Rain's stomach. "Though I suppose I should finish business here first."

The wolf smiled and rubbed the leopard's ears as the feline bent her head down, taking her first good look at her friend's intimate areas. Like her, the wolf's white fur ran back between her legs to her tail, soft pink outer labia framing the deeper pink inner lips, these slightly parted in her arousal. The wolf lay back onto the soft grass, her feet still dangling in the water as the leopard placed a number of gentle licks and kisses along her soft folds.

"Feath... please..." she groaned. She had been so close before the leopard had moved, she couldn't bear to wait much longer!

Eaglefeather nodded, concentrating her attentions to the top of her friend's entrance, applying lick after lick. With one hand, she massaged the inside of one of the wolf's thighs, with the other, she gently ran a finger up and down the entire length of the pink folds between her friend's legs, tracing the outer lips, then the inner, then the outer, never giving her a moment's rest.

The wolf moaned loudly, her breath coming in quick, short gasps in time with the regular licks she was receiving. When her climax arrived, it did so so suddenly that she had no time to tell Eaglefeather it was coming. One moment she was gasping for breath, her head rolling upon the grass, the next all the pleasure in her body had contracted to a point under the leopard's tongue. The next lick burst the bubble, sending a thousand sparks of pleasure flowing through the wolf's veins, setting her blood on fire.

The leopard's eyes widened in surprise as the wolf suddenly yowled loudly, her back arching, her hands grabbing the feline's ears, pulling her muzzle tight against the lupine's softness. Recovering quickly, she resumed licking, determined to stretch out her friend's pleasure as long as possible.

The wolf felt her limbs shake as her peak thundered through her with unexpected strength, leaving her seeing stars as it receded. She changed the tug on the leopard's ears, pushing her back, desperate to end the stimulation while she could still think. She had heard of people passing out from pleasure, but didn't think this was the time and place to try it out.

"Feel better?" the leopard's voice floated in through her hazy ears.

"Mmmmyuuhh..." Well, it wasn't much of a response, but it was a response at least.

Eaglefeather leaned forwards, resting her chin on the wolf's lower belly. "Still with me?" she chuckled.

The wolf waved a hand weakly, unable to get her vocal chords to form something coherent. She yelped as the leopard suddenly pulled her legs, dragging her off the edge off the grass and into the water, catching her easily as she slid forwards, hugging her tightly as they knelt together in the shallows. The wolf caught her breath as the shock of the cool water registered suddenly on her sensitive and currently very heated furless places.

"I think you enjoyed that," the leopard giggled into her ear.

"Oh yeah..." Silver-Rain finally managed a coherent noise. "That was... amazing..." she said softly, still feeling limp as she leaned on the leopard's shoulder. "And you thought... you had been... missing something!"

The leopard smiled, suddenly feeling very self-conscious as she hugged the wolf tightly, their breasts pressing together. "Rain..." she started. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure," the wolf panted, snuggling her head tight against the feline's, inhaling her warm and friendly scent, her ears full of the soft sounds of moving water and the rush of the wind through the trees.

"Would you like to be my date to the festival dance?"
