"Spiral blow!"
Greymon turns his face as a tornado of dirt and other debris head his way. The impact stings, but it doesn't push him back. Yet more proof that non-reptilian Digimon are weak. He stares in the direction his prey went. What kind of power does this human have? Whatever it is, it could become problematic if left alone.
The Digimon fixes his eyes on DarkTyrannomon. It's clear he'll never be fit to lead. It's strange to think Megadramon gave him permission to take a small squadron. DarkTyrannomon has already shown he's unable to destroy a measly human and a couple of rookies by himself. Greymon leads them back to their camp without saying a word to the worthless Digimon, and finds the rookies mingling about. He walks up to a black Agumon.
"You. Find Megadramon and inform him of what we learned regarding this human," Greymon explains the human's power. "You've your orders, now go."
"Yes, boss."
"As for the rest of you, on your feet. We're heading out. This human and these Digimon will be exterminated," the dark grey Digimon looks at DarkTyrannomon. "You should've grabbed a Digimon that can fly you fool."
"I didn't think we need it."
"No, of course not. Thinking's clearly not your strong point," Greymon towers over DarkTyrannomon. "From now on I'm in charge, and you'll do everything I say."
"I'm aware of our deal."
"Good. Then I know that simple mind of yours is capable of some things," the dark grey Digimon turns his attention to a rookie. "Stay put. When the other returns, come find us. The human went southwest. I know the area. There aren't many places for them to hide."
"Got it, sir."
"Damn well better. Until we hear otherwise, our goal is to search and destroy. Destroy those weak Digimon and pathetic creature," Greymon looks at everybody. "It doesn't mean we should ignore our other duties. Recruit additional reptilian Digimon, and if they don't agree with our cause, destroy them. Move out."
"Greymon. If the human has the means to Digivolve-"
"Shut the hell up," Greymon smacks DarkTyrannomon with his tail. "You no longer think. Remember that."
"Yes," the black T-rex like Digimon mumbles.
Greymon leaves without issuing an order. DarkTyrannomon and the remaining black Agumon should be smart enough to follow without having to be told, and to his surprise they do. With any luck it won't take them no longer than a day to find the human, and then they can return to their normal duties.

Black Agumon realizes Greymon never told her when she's to return to him, but at least he'll be in charge of things and not the fool DarkTyrannomon. The champion level Digimon couldn't lead them out of a river if their lives dependent on it. The black Agumon wouldn't have gone with him, but since she's a rookie, she doesn't have the option to decline an order.
The Digimon returns to Megadramon's last known location, sniffs the air and notices a large amount of crushed vegetation. They went west northwest, but she doesn't have a clue on how far they traveled. The reptilian Digimon takes off.
She finds Megadramon and his troops by dusk, and from the looks of it they're about to settle down for the night. Black Agumon finds the ultimate Digimon discussing things with Allomon. Chances are it involves where they should go next. The Digimon shakes her head. She has no problem with her kind ruling the Digital World, but wishes they wouldn't cause so much destruction in the process. She gulps when they look in her direction.
"Black Agumon," Megadramon said, "what brings you?"
"I bring news of the human."
"You're present. Is this pest gone?"
"DarkTyrannomon failed, but Greymon leads now. He order me here. Give info regarding the human's power."
"Power? What power does a human have?"
"It caused one Digimon to Digivolve."
"What?" Allomon said. "Impossible."
"Impossible or not, it is interesting. Dorbickmon needs to hear it," Megadramon looks at black Agumon. "Leave. I'll send word if plans change, but until then current orders are to be followed through.
The Digimon bows her head and takes off. It's rare for Megadramon not to destroy failures, and she's not about to stick around long enough for him to change his mind. Of course that may not be the case next time they meet.
Megadramon keeps his eyes on the rookie Digimon. There must be a soft side to him since he allowed her leave. Then again Greymon ordered the black Agumon to see him, and it would be unfair to punish her for somebody else's failure. The blame falls on either Greymon and/or DarkTyrannomon.
He allows the information she gave him regarding the human to sink in. If true, then that's the sort of power he could use for himself. It'll go against Dorbickmon's orders, but Megadramon may have Greymon capture the human. The ultimate level Digimon licks his lips at the thought of becoming mega level. Of course what their leader says will play a role in what he does. He activates his communication device.
"Megadramon," Dorbickmon said. "What's the words regarding this... human?"
"They failed, sir, but it seems this creature has some power," the ultimate Digimon tells Dorbickmon what he knows.
"Interesting. Their failure does upset me, and their failure does fall onto you, but this ability. This power the human has. It may prove useful. I've no qualms if he's destroyed, but I'd like it to be brought to me. Alive."
"Yes, sir. I will send the word."
"And if I hear they failed again, I'll personally destroy them all, and then I'll go after you."
The line goes dead.
