The Manor

A group of girls enter an old manor.

The old compound was quiet and decrepit. Vegetation had grown over the concrete and all the metal cages that cover the front lawn. Most of the fences and gates had been broken into and pieces of fence had been remove or otherwise warped. Trash carried long from other places had found its home inside the perimeter.

"Now remember the rules, gals," said Danielle, "Don't touch anything! I know none of you believe in curses but this is an old dirty mansion and might be a breeding ground for polio or something!"

Danielle was a taller girl with long hair that went down to her breasts. She wore a T-shirt and jeans. Her butt was a bit big but perky. She walked with it swaying with every step.

"It's all horseshit, Danielle," said Katie, "We're just here to see some cool shit and that's it."

Katie was shorter and a bit wider than Danielle, with Farah being the widest but also the tallest. Katie wore a cap, a white T-shirt, and cargo shorts. Farah was growing her hair out for once. It had gotten down to her shoulders. She wore a sweater and grey pants.

"They say that there's all sorts of treasures in there," said Farah, "Even after all these years they say there's still things to be plundered."

"I call bullshit on that," said Sindy.

Sindy was a tall skinny girl. She had pretty short black hair and wore a frilly white shirt with blue denim capris. She was ahead of everyone else and walked with a slouch that would make an organutan ask for manners. She had black polish on her nails.

Debra was a smaller girl. She walked along with the others with her eyes wary for any dangers around the compound, "Do you think any wolves are around here?"

Debra had her hair cut straight. It was brown and went down past her shoulders. She was wearing a puffy light blue shirt and a short orange skirt. The skirt looked a bit old but still had form.

Danielle laughed, "Wolves don't live in this part of the country, Debra. You won't find any bears or cougars either."

Wilma spoke up, "Worst thing around here is a raccoon!"

Wilma was one of the taller girls. She had wavy brown hair and had quite a bit of muscle on her. Her chest was perky. She wore a black longsleeve T-shirt and tight denim shorts. She looked by at one of the empty cages. Old newspapers had gathered at the bottom, a product of wind and time.

"Whatever you people think is around here," said Danielle, "It doesn't matter. Let's just go in and see what we can find!"

The six of them proceeded down the yard path and towards the looming manor. The winding was picking up.

The inside of the manor wasn't dim. Light shone through every one of the tall windows. The curtains had long fell down but the house otherwise looked decent. The roof wasn't caving in. The wallpaper wasn't peeling. Even the carpet looked acceptable even if dust rose with every step.

"The rumor is," said Danielle, "there are ancient treasures in this place, like looking glasses that can look into a person's soul."

Katie rolled her eyes.

"We should split up," said Wilma, "But remember don't touch anything."

The others agreed. Every went their separate ways with Danielle and Wilma going upstairs, Debra and Sindy checking out the ground floor. Katie and Farah went down into the basement. After a couple of minutes, Danielle texted the others to meet up in the second floor, a large bedroom.

Everyone quickly relocated to the second floor with Debra coming in a minute after the rest, looking nervous and hiding her eyes behind her hair. Danielle and the others were standing around a large statue placed against a wall with a very peculiar wallpaper. The wallpaper's design was unlike they'd see in a store let alone an old manor. It had an unusual oriental look to it.

"Do you think it's expensive?" said Farah.

"What in this place isn't expensive?" asked Katie.

Debra came up behind them. Wilma looked at her, "Where have you been?"

Debra said nothing.

"If we look around," said Danielle, "We might be able--"

The sound stopped and echoed throughout the room. The form of Danielle had changed so fast that the others had to blink to even realize it. Danielle's form had changed to a deer's. The gasps of panic came slowly to the others, like they had been struck and needed to catch their breaths. Wilma fell over.

"What in the christ?" said Katie, "W-what happened?"

"It's a curse!" Wilma blurted out before choking on her own words and losing the will to speak further.

Sindy had tears in her eyes and edged closer to the deer, now wearing deer-shaped clothes. She cautiously reached out her hand. When it hit the deer's body and it pressed against her shirt it made Sindy weak in the knees and she stumbled. Wilma and Debra clutched each other and with unsteady steps began backing away from the deer.

"She turned into a deer...!" said Katie. Katie start giggling and her eyes went wide, "Like some sort of magic trick...!"

There were sudden squelching sounds coming from behind Danielle the deer. A foul smell came out from behind her that Sindy was the first one to catch. It was a horrible smell, and she stumbled backward falling down on the floor before getting up and scurrying away. "Let's get out of here!" she said.

Wilma and Debra were already at the door. Sindy zipped right past Katie and Farah who couldn't take their eyes off of Danielle the deer. The deer approached them and they turned the other way and ran out the door. When they got out Sindy was standing right there waiting for them. Farah and Katie were already down the hall, running towards the stairs.

"What... what do we do?" said Wilma as her voice cracked, "What..._how_do we turn her back?"

Debra's head was swimming. It was too much, "I... I don't know..."

"Someone must have _touched_something!" said Sindy, "Who did it?" she gave sharp looks at Debra and Wilma. Debra couldn't even look Sindy in the eye.

"Forget it!" said Wilma, "We need to get out of here!" she took Debra and Sindy's hands and motioned them down the hall, "Let's get out of here!"

They began running down the halls, the same path that Farah and Katie took. Just as they got towards the stairs, they heard a scream-- Katie's scream. They were hesitant but made their way down the staircase. Debra was still silent and kept behind Wilma and Sindy.

When they got down the stairs, they saw Katie standing beside a lynx dressed in a sweater in grey pants. Right away they knew the lynx was Farah. Two kinds of horror came over them: The horror of losing a friend to a curse transformation and the horror of dealing with a dangerous woodlands animal.

Wilma walked over and took to Katie, who was paralyzed with fear and could only watch as the lynx dug her teeth into the carpet. When Sindy saw what Farah had become she clutched her chest.

Wilma was angry with tears in her eyes, "Someone did something!" she looked at Sindy, "Sindy! You were the one that couldn't keep away from the art gallery!"

Sindy scowled, "I... I didn't touch anything, Wilma!"

Debra walked past the lynx very carefully and motioned at the other girls, "Let's forget it! Come on, let's look around some! There must be a cure for this!"

Debra walked towards the main foyer and Wilma followed along. After collecting themselves Sindy and Katie let the lynx be. The lynx had quietly shat itself and its foul smell was seeping from her at a quick rate. The two girls covered their noses and followed Debra and Wilma.

When they walked into the foyer Wilma was staring Sindy down. Debra stood nearby and passed a worried look between the too.

"This is your fault Sindy, I know it," said Wilma.

"Shut the fuck up, you bitch!" said Sindy, "I didn't do shit!"

Wilma approached Sindy but before taking three steps her form shifted. She had shrunk into the form of a raccoon, her longsleeve shirt and shorts had reshaped to fit her new body. She fell to the floor and the drooling wild raccoon looked around with wild eyes. It hissed and shat itself with fear.

Sindy covered her mouth to clog the loud shriek and gasp that would come out otherwise. Debra was frantic and looked around the room for the door into the basement. She said, "Come on! Down into the basement!"

Sindy found herself to follow Debra but Katie had had enough and just started giggling like a madman. She slowed squatted down and just stared at the floor still giggling. Sindy offered some concern for Katie but instead followed Debra down into the basement.

The basement was dark and the spiral staircase was long. Sindy clinged to the side of the staircase to keep her balance as the events of the manor had left her quite lightheaded. When she caught up to Debra she started to wonder, though.

"Why are we down here?" said Sindy.

"To find the cure!" said Debra.

"What if it's not down here?" asked Sindy.

"It_is_down here, I just know!" said Debra.

Sindy cut in front of Debra and took a finger to Debra's chest, "You're the one who caused this, ain't cha!?"

Debra looked around desperately, "N-no! I didn't do _anything!_I never touched the book, I just looked at it and--"

"This_was_you!" said Sindy, tears rolling from her eyes, "I can't--"

Just as she began to raise her voice, Sindy polymorphed into a bear and stumbled down the stairs a bit. As it stumbled, a squelching sound was heard like the discomfort of falling down the stairs as a quadreped shocked it so badly is crapped its pants. Between the bear in the way of getting downstairs, the darkness of the basement, and the smell, Debra got the idea of getting out of there!

"Fuck it!" she said.

She raced back up stairs to find Katie on the ground, now turned into a pig. The porcine creature had pooped its drawers too but was content to just sit there on the ground and relax. Going from a scared, panicked girl to a dumb pig must have been very relaxing.

Debra burst through the front door but just as she hit the main path running, she polymorphed into a wolf and collapsed. The clothes she was wearing had morphed with her lupine form. The poor wolf hit the ground and rolled a bit but was otherwise ok.

She got up and sniffed around. There were things in the nearby wilderness and she took off to the trees. Along the way she squatted for a second to leave a smelly lump of poop in her panties, but continued on uncaring for such an embarrassment.
