The days passed and the news from the small elven village had grown more dire with each passing sunrise. Their mystics that had been tracking the growing evil in the sacred woods had suddenly shifted course, settling on a werewolf village that was only about a week north of their location before the corruption suddenly exploded with growth. Whatever malevolent force that had been hiding there no longer wished to make itself hidden, no doubt every seer and mage on the continent could suddenly feel the pulse of unnatural magic that had come from the once normal area. Though the elves cared for their lycanthropic cousins, the debate raged on whether they should go in and try to pacify whatever foul magic had taken root in the area.
"Surely the council must see that we have a duty to protect and rescue our allies in the north!" one of the more vocal elves shouted as he stood up once more. "At the very least we need to send a scouting party to see what fate had befallen them! If there is something truly malicious there it will more than likely come for us next!"
"You've already voiced your concerns, Archimedes," the older elf said, though his face didn't show a hint of the fact that he had lived for nearly a millennia already as he motioned for the passionate man to sit. "And we've taken them into consideration. But with the fact that this corruptive force once came from the sacred woods we need to know more about it before we can try and deal with it. We have emissaries coming in from Deliro who have been studying ancient history for longer than you've been alive, the best course of action is to maintain the mana barrier that our mystics have put up and hope that we can find a solution before more dire courses of action need to be undertaken."
Though the meeting continued for a while longer the one that had put up the protest hardly heard it, instead sitting there with his arms crossed until the village delegation was told that they were dismissed. Archimedes was the first to leave, followed shortly by another elven fellow that ran to catch up with him. "You know you could probably get what you wanted more if you didn't ruffle their feathers every day, Arc," the trailing elf said as the other male huffed. "You know what they say about catching flies."
"Well this fly threatens the existence of this village and possibly the entire continent," Arc replied as he grimaced, his gaze looking out into the sacred woods that no one had been allowed to set foot in. "They should have gone in and dealt with this the second Taegen disappeared and the evil started to spread... I know we're all prone to wait and see what happens, but sometimes things need a little more action. You agree with me, right, Phin?"
Phineas looked away and scratched his head. "It's not about what I believe in..." he finally said, causing the other elf to frown even more deeply and look around. "You can't just go off and defy the council every time you think you know better than them. I know that Taegen was a dear friend to you, but if something did befall him it's not going to help if you go out there to save him and join in his fate. The seers from the elven capital will be here in a few days; once they are we can get a handle on the situation and possibly save everyone that was out there."
Though Arc continued to frown and stayed silent he knew his friend was right; the mystics on the council were powerful in the ways of magic and those that were coming to aid them even more so. He was just a fisherman, not inclined to any magic whatsoever and wouldn't even begin to know how to start learning. Still... as he looked out in the direction of the lycan village that had become the source of whatever he believed happened to his friend, he felt deep down that they needed to do something. The two continued to chat for a while before they parted ways, Arc going down to work in order to try and keep his mind off of the things that were happening all around him...
As night fell Arc was restless while the rest of the village slumbered, the elf tossing and turning in his bed as he fell into a fitful state of dreams similar to what he had been having for the last few nights. At first it had just been vague nightmares, hardly remembered concepts of shadows and other scary things stalking him before he would wake up once more. This time; however, Arc awoke in his bed panting heavily with his body covered in a sheen of sweat. As he looked around he could still feel the shadows creeping in on him, like the dream had come back with him as he slowly got out of his bed to get himself a glass of water.
His hand visibly shook as he took the mug from his table and filled it with water from the tub that he had kept in his kitchen, attempting to let the cool liquid settle his nerves as he tried to banish the dark thoughts from his head. As he looked out his window, though, the sound of metal on stone suddenly filled the air, the elf's jaw dropping as the mug did the same, the remaining water splashing at his feet. Outside of home and standing in the middle of the field was Taegen, his friend looking at him with a mournful expression on his face. Without even thinking about it Arc ran out of his house and towards the field, only when he got there to find that he was once more completely alone.
"Arc..." the voice of Taegen drifted around him suddenly, the confused elf looking around to try and find the source of it. "Arc... I'm right here, you just need to see me..."
When Archimedes finally saw the elf again he was standing on a stump that was near the sacred woods, a place where they had met numerous times so that they could go out together and he would fish while his friend gathered herbs. The other elf looked as pale as the moonlight himself as he hopped off the stump and began to walk towards the woods. Even though an uneasy feeling began to filter into Arc he was resolved not to let his friend out of his sight, running after him in order to make sure his friend didn't leave his sight once more. When he got to the stump he found that Taegen had already gone deep into the sacred woods, Arc's mouth open in slight shock at how much distance that the other elf had covered before he ran in after him with renewed vigor.
Even as the tree branches crashed around him all Arc could think about was reuniting with his friend as he chased Taegen into the woods. When he failed to gain any ground to catch up to the other male thoughts began to roll around in his head, wondering if perhaps that he wasn't chasing Taegen but rather some manifestation of him. It was called the sacred woods for a reason after all... had the other elf died and now he was chasing his spirit? In the end though it didn't matter to him, he was going to catch up to whatever it was he was chasing and get the answers he so desperately wanted.
Finally he broke through the woods and entered into a small clearing, the elf catching his breath as he looked around for where the one he had been pursuing went. He heard a rumble of thunder over his head as he saw the elf in the mouth of a cave before disappearing down inside. Though Arc had no way of seeing in the darkness of the cave, he continued towards it anyway while feeling the first droplets of rain hitting his shoulders. By the time he was inside the drizzle turned to a downpour, creating a river in the stone as he continued to make his way inside. As he slowly stepped forward he found himself surrounded by darkness, feeling his heart race in his chest as a yellow glow suddenly appeared many yards ahead of him.
"Taegen..." Arc whispered into the darkness as the got to the illuminated room, slowly peeking his head and gasping in shock when he saw the other elf sitting there naked next to a crackling fire. "By the gods... it is you. I knew that you weren't dead!"
When he went over to hug his friend something immediately felt... off about the whole situation. He stopped a few feet away from the pensive male and when a sensation of dread began to creep up his spine, he looked down at himself and realized that he was naked as well. "I was wondering when you were finally going to heed my call," Taegen said as a small smile crept on his face while the other elf began to glance around the small cavern, watching as shadows began to form that had not been there before. "You don't know how long I've been waiting for this moment, Arc."
Taegen... your eyes..." Arc said in hushed fear as Tae'geth looked at him with shiny black orbs that glimmered in the light. "The mystics were right... the corruption..."
"The corruption was coming no matter what," Tae'geth said as he slowly stood up, the other elf backing away just as loud rumble of thunder reverberated through the cave. "Look at this place... the seals were weakening and it was only a matter of time before the darkness was unleashed on this land once again. But with me... I am able to control it, harness it... I AM the corruption now, and with it I can rule the land completely and give people the freedom they so desperately want."
Arc was unable to speak as he continued to back away from the corrupted elf, though as the seconds passed Tae'geth was resembling less and less of his former self as shiny black fur and scales began to sprout over his body. "This isn't you, Taegen..." Archemedies finally said as he got close to one of the walls, only to jump back when he heard a snarl and saw a werewolf-shaped shadow creature pull out from the stone to snap at him. "We can stop this, the mystics from Deliro are coming and they can help you. If you just hold out for a little while longer you can be restored to your former self and we can go back to normal again, that can be the freedom that you're talking about..."
"You fail to understand what I'm offering here, Arc," Tae'geth growled, his voice deepening as he continued to talk while his face extended out into a draconic snout. "There's a reason I reached out to you, you know as well as I do that our people are condemned to a life of mediocrity because the village council wants to keep it that way. Do you honestly think that we could ever expand with the elder's hands against the throat of our progress? You will be a fisherman your entire long life and if you want to try or do anything else they'll call a meeting so that all of them can tell you what a waste of time you're being to them."
Though Arc knew that the corrupted male was trying to get into his head, his resolve to attempt to save his friend from the darkness faltered slightly when he hit on a rather sore spot. He had always wanted to go to Deliro to study the ways of druidic magic, something that you can learn and you aren't just born with like the mystics that ran the village. When he had been denied by the council, who told him that his place was not to learn such ways and that he was needed in his place, he had tried to petition to go to the werewolves in order to learn how their shamans did it instead only to once more be denied. He heard a dark chuckle from the transforming male as he realized that he had allowed Tae'geth to get close to him while he was being introspective and quickly jumped back, only to be herded towards the center of the room once more by the shadows continuing to push in from the walls.
"Please..." Arc pleaded as he found himself with no more room to run, feeling the shadows brush against his naked back as he stood there while Tae'geth approached him. "I'm sorry you got corrupted and that I didn't save you..."
"Save me?" Tae'geth replied with a chuckle. "I'm saving you. Accept my corruption and you will not only be able to study those arts that you so desperately wanted to, but also have all the shamans of the werewolf village at your disposal. They're so willing and waiting to teach you, all you have to do is let them."
Arc's eyes widened and he turned to the shadows that had been nipping at him the entire time, though now they appeared to be as still as the air in the cavern as their hollow eyes stared at him. The werewolf village... once again the mystics had been correct that Tae'geth had infiltrated the lycans, all of them now surrounding him as tendrils of their dark forms began to press against his body. The second it touched his skin it left a stain there, a mark of their corruption as he felt the presence of the very real monster behind him. The elf that he had followed into the cave was completely gone, replaced with the strange dragon-wolf hybrid that was reflected in the shadow creatures that began to press against his chest.
"You remember when we spent that night together?" Tae'geth hissed as his tongue pressed up against his ear, feeling the elf beginning to succumb to his manipulations as he wrapped his fur and scale arms around the bare chest of the other male. "It was after the festival and we had managed to grab that entire bottle of wine off the table and sneak out of the party before anyone had noticed. We went into the sacred woods and drank it together... and since we didn't want to go back to the village drunk we decided to have a little fun with one another."
Though Arc didn't want to admit it he knew exactly what he was talking about, remembering how they had giggled constantly while taking off one another's clothes. They promised the other they wouldn't tell anyone what they were doing before they started to rub over one another's naked bodies. They had a bit of fun kissing and licking one another and then it was then that Taegen had decided that he was going to be the one on top, the two elves finding a comfortable spot to lay in before Arc wrapped his legs around the other male's chest. What followed after that was one of the most pleasurable experiences in his life, feeling Taegen's maleness throb inside of him as he thrusted in and out of his hole...
There was a deep rumble behind him as Arc realized that once more Tae'geth had ensnared him, only this time there was no escape for him as he felt something press up against his cheeks. "You can have that pleasure again," he whispered as the ethereal hands of the dragolves that he had already corrupted continued to rub against the entire front of his body with his cock included. "Just let me in... we can be together again and we can both finally have what we want..."
Back in the real world Archimedes grunted and groaned as he thrashed about in his bed, his mouth open in a permanent gasp of pleasure with a hand around his fully erect dick. Veins of pure black began to spider along his form as the corruption of Tae'geth began to infiltrate his physical body, corrupting the elf that he had already slithered his way into the dreams of a few days ago. With the mana barrier in place there would have been no way for him, even with his new lycanthropic army, to get into the village without being destroyed by the mystics, but there were other ways to corrupt as his friend was finding out while having his anus stretched open in the dream world.
The pleasure quickly wore down any mental barriers that might have been put up, and though Tae'geth tried to make sure the sleeping elf didn't show too much of the corruption being pumped into his body, tendrils could be seen shifting the pale skin while he continued to thrash. As the dream Arc watched as one of the shadow dragolves began to bob their muzzle up and down on his member his own began to turn shiny and black, rubbery pre leaking out and being spread all over the sensitive flesh as his own hand mechanically stroked over it. Though Tae'geth thoroughly enjoyed thrusting his cock into his friend, once more he knew that he was already reaching critical mass and severed the astral connection to him, Arc immediately gasping as instructions were being imprinted on his rubber-infested mind. Lines of darkness remained in the white of his eyes as his skin continued to bulge and writhe with the tentacles of pure corruption inside him before they finally settled down and he was able to get out of his bed.
Though Arc was still in control of his body the whispers of Tae'geth remained in his mind, his tainted brain was reeling through the fog of confusion of lust as he tried to wrap his head around what just happened. Though he didn't know consciously where he was going he just knew that he had to get there as soon as possible. With the mana barrier that was up and the sense of dread that had pervaded the village no one was really up right now, something that suited the elf just fine as he continued to move forward. Just as he started to get his sense of where he was going, though, he saw Phin and his body immediately turned towards him.
"Arc?" Phin said as he saw the other elf moving towards him. "What are you doing up this late?" When Arc got closer to him he began to step back slightly as he felt the tainted aura even before he got close to him. He froze in his tracks and that proved to be his fatal mistake, as before he could even move a hand darted out and grabbed him by the throat.
Arc's mouth stretched open wide and Phin attempted to shout when he saw a shiny black tentacle push its way out of his mouth before it pushed into his. As Arc's transformed tongue continued to slither its way into his friend's maw he lifted him out of the ground, the cloak he was wearing falling away to reveal a muscled arm that was going thicker by the second. The black veins in his skin pulsed with dark energy as Phin's eyes rolled back into his head and similar darkness began to spiral out from his lips. By the time Arc pulled back and dropped Phin to the ground he flopped over like a sack of potatoes, Arc licking his own blackened lips with his shiny tongue as he looked down at the unconscious creature with calculating eyes...
About ten minutes later the cloaked figure moved into the temple of the mystics, moving swiftly towards a glowing blue orb that sustained the mana barrier that protected the village. The creature jumped up with unnatural strength and perched himself on the upper balcony, the dark creature slowly hopping over the other side before striding forward. Before it could even get close, though, a shimmering white light coalesced in a circle around the sphere before it formed into wrist cuffs that dragged it down to the floor. A few seconds later there was a cry from the doorway as a number of elven warriors in shimmering armor stormed through it.
The creature continued to try and move forward, but the cuffs of light were like anchors as black tendrils began to coalesce around the cloaked creature. "Grab it before it gets to the shield orb!" An elf in white robes said as the soldiers continued to charge up the stairs. "The ward won't last long!"
It was clear that the corrupted creature was not going to go down without a fight, the cloak pushing back as the elf grew larger from the spreading corruption that was attempting to break free. As the hood tipped back it revealed an already partially-shifted muzzle with half his face already monstrous including jagged black teeth that had grown past his lips. A loud roar shattered the air as his hands stretched out to grab the orb, the light bands continuing to restrain him as fur and scale cascaded up them and his arms towards his shoulders. Before the magical restraints could shatter from the strain the warriors had gotten there and managed to net and pin the creature to the ground.
"Don't kill it if at all possible," Once they had the creature completely restrained the mystic slowly stood up behind them, watching the transforming male thrash and snarl as they continued to restrain him. "When we started to feel the corruptive forces seeping into the village we had no idea that this evil had managed to slip through our barrier, though we did suspect it would not be at full power. Are you able to speak, beast, or has your brain been completely befouled by the darkness that has taken hold of your soul?"
There was a small growl, punctuated by a snarl as his horns began to grow out of his head before turning away. "I have nothing to say," the creature said in a deep, throaty voice. "You will all know soon enough."
"I hardly think so," the mystic replied with a smirk. "Though it was certainly devious our magics have proven too powerful for you. When the seers from Deliro come in we have something to give them so that they can study this tainted magic more closely. If you're lucky we may still be able to bring you back, Arc."
To their surprise the creature laughed darkly, its beefy frame causing the soldiers to tense up and tighten on their restraints as he looked at them all with shiny, black eyes. He continued for a long while and the elves that were there looked at each other worriedly before he finally settled his gaze back at them. "So you knew that Arc was the target..." The creature replied. "That's good... if only you had actually caught them."
It took only a few seconds for the mystic to realize what the creature insinuated as an evil grin spread across his muzzle, and by the time they all looked back towards the orb that kept them safe Arc had already stepped up to the pedestal. With the ward completely burned out by Phin's incursion it left him free to get to his prize, and as he reached out to it his rubber-scaled hands glowed with dark energy. Before the mystic could even move he clamped those corrupted hands against the orb, the bright blue ball flashing as the shadow tendrils quickly radiated out of him and pushed into the magical sphere. The conflicting arcane magics swirled faster and faster in the orb, and as the soldiers began to charge Arc cracks had already begun to form in it.
Arc was blown backwards from the shockwave as the barrier sphere exploded outwards and the soldiers guarding the mystic had fallen backwards as well. The bands around Phin's wrists were also shattered as he covered his head, feeling the shards of contamination magic sink into his body. Though it didn't do anything to him the shrapnel had clearly started to affect the soldiers, their armor clanging to the ground as the mystic slowly got to his feet. Though it appeared that the mage had avoided the explosion he found his situation had not improved as his entourage had begun to writhe and transform on the ground as tendrils of darkness seeped into their auras.
"It's beautiful..." Arc said as he came up behind the mystic, who spun around to face the hybrid while the sounds of moaning and grunting grew louder behind him. "While I was just here to allow Tae'geth and his army to be able to get into the village, I've already given him a small guard to escort him in as well. Now it is time to bring this village into the fold..."
"The other mystics will not let you get away with this," the mage replied with a grimace as he saw the elven soldiers beginning to shred their metal armor like it was made of tin with their clawed hands while their faces twisted their terrified expressions as their muzzles pushed out and scales covered their faces "This Tae'geth may have taken over the werewolves, but you'll find that our spirits aren't so easily corruptible. Even if we don't beat you, even if you take this entire village, our kind will banish you once again from these lands and back into the sacred woods."
Arc chuckled and extended a hand at the mystic, a rubber tentacle pushing out of his back and snaking around before it wrapped around the elf's waist and hoisted him up into the air. "I want you to see how wrong you are," Arc hissed as he brought the elf over to one of the windows just as a huge dragon-like creature began to pad his way into the central streets while his pack of corrupted werewolves flanked him on either side. "Rejoice, for our lost has come back home, the return of Taegen as our new savior Tae'geth."
The mystic gasped slightly when he heard the name of the elf that had been lost in the sacred woods all this time as the source of the corruption they felt. Though the other mystics had no doubt felt this incursion and have been busy preparing, their goal would be to protect the council and their sacred texts in the middle of the town. That meant that all those citizens in the houses would be roused from their sleep only to be transformed into terrible creatures like the snarling, drooling monstrosities that ran for their new master even before they were fully transformed. He knew that it would soon be his fate as well, but it appeared that the corrupted male was not content in changing him just yet as he saw the rubber dragolf army growing while the others made their way into the houses.
"Why don't you just do it already!?" The mystic said angrily as he tried to wiggle out of the grasp of the tentacle, only to have it tighten slightly around his waist. "It's clear that's what I'm going to be, so just do it already!"
"I'm enjoying this far too much for me to finish you off just yet," Arc replied as his solid black eyes seemed to glance over in his direction. "I don't suppose you remember when you denied me my ability to go and study different kinds of magic; how I came to you seeking help and how you said if I would indulge you in your pleasures you would do the same for me, then speaking out in the council that such abilities were unnecessary for the betterment of our village. Well now it's my turn... showing you that your opinion and the opinion of that archaic council no longer matters now that Tae'geth is here. But... if you wish you can get the release you so desperately desire, all you have to do is suck my cock."
Though it was clear that the very thought of it caused disgust to the mystic, it was less so than watching his failures continue to manifest outside of the temple. It didn't take long for him to make his decision, the hulking creature watching as the resolve of the elf fall before he nodded his head. Even though he could have just let the corruption seep into him and change him that way there was a certain thrill that he got from being in control, from watching a mage who thought he was so superior reduced to a quivering mess between his legs. "Enjoy this while you can, you monster," the mystic said as he looked away.
"Oh, I know I will," Arc said with a fanged grin as his shiny rubber cock throbbed in front of the elf's face. "Just like you did when I was in the same position. Now make sure you do a good job, I would hate to have you reduced to something even lower than you are about to be because you didn't."
The ultimatum was enough to cause the mystic to shudder slightly as the corrupted latex dragolf told him to start slow and give it a little lick. As the elf's tongue slid over the sensitive flesh it was clear that the taint of the creature had started to diffuse into his body, though it was still being held back by Arc in order to prolong his transformation as much as possible. The combined effect of the conversions happening outside and the pleasure that his captive's tongue brought him made it very hard, and when he looked down he could already see shiny fur begin to sprout from his face. The squeak of rubber against rubber filled the air as the mystic's mind quickly fell into the depravity, black ichor leaking from his pointed ears and nose as Arc's power pummeled into his psyche.
When Arc felt the last of the elf's fighting spirit degrade into lust he pulled out and told the mystic to turn around and put his forearms on the ledge of the window, the other male doing so immediately. There was a glassy look in his eyes and the tiny veins in the whites of his eyes had begun to darken, and all Arc could hope was that there was still enough left of him to see their village being taken as he began to take his ridged rubberized member and pull off the elf's clothes. Below the temple a number of elves were now actively being converted by the creatures of Tae'geth; those that either ran or fought had the darkness poured through them ethereally while those that willingly succumbed to the corruption were converted by more... carnal means. It was that means that Arc was ready to take the now naked elf in front of him, the nub of a tail already starting to form where his cock had rubbed between his cheeks.
Arc let out a deep growl as he began to push his throbbing spire of corrupted, rubbery flesh into the hole of the transforming elf, hearing him let out a moan of pleasure as his hands gripped the sides of the window. As those perfect nails turned black and pointy and the lithe body of the mystic grew with muscle Arc looked down and saw Tae'geth staring up at him. His friend was in his draconic form, the plant pods on his back pulsing with tainted life as the elves in them transformed into more of his soldiers. Though they shared a psionic connection to one another, as their eyes met Arc gave him a little nod, acknowledging that he had been correct in his need for revenge.
As Arc continued to thrust deeper into the tailhole of the creature beneath him he gasped slightly as he felt something else as well, a tingle that began in the tight, slick walls that had clamped around the sensitive flesh of his cock and slowly began to spread upwards. It was clearly magic, and as their bodies rocked back and forth he could see the tendrils of ethereal energy wisps flowing off of the corrupted elf's body and drift towards him. His chest swelled with even more muscle as he began to feel the arcane energy in him grow, his eyes glowing slightly as the magic he wanted to wield was being siphoned from the mystic below. Though it was likely that the elf beneath him could feel his energy being drained from him he no longer cared, lost in the pure euphoria of being impaled and corrupted from within as Arc gave a particularly targeted thrust and bumped up against the mystic's prostrate.
"Yes..." Arc hissed as tentacles pushed their way out of his body, but unlike the rubber ones that he had formed from his own body, these were made out of pure magical force. "Thank you Tae'geth... my energy will serve you... as your arcane corrupted!" As he let out a roar of triumph he came hard inside the creature below him, which had very little semblance of his elven heritage left that wasn't covered by fur and scale. When Arc was done he pulled out of the new drone, who immediately turned and lowered his head in reverence to his leader and crashed through the window. The second he was out in the open air those spectral appendages morphed, turning to sparkling black wings that arrested his fall before his feet touched the ground with the shamans that had continued to their push onto the building of the elders.
As Arc's brightly glowing eyes met with the others they all gave him a nod of understanding, feeling their connection to one another under the awesome will of the dragon creature behind him. The magic he was gifted by their new master was similar to what they used, their corruption harmonizing their abilities even though they came from different backgrounds. It was a power that was far greater than any of them had ever imagined wielding, and as their eyes looked at the shimming barrier that had been erected over the center of town, they knew their new arcane force would be more than enough to burn a path through...
