"Fire. Please clear the building, Fire. Please clear the building" Cathrine snapped awake the next morning and bounded out of bed to that tune, not even realizing she left her robe behind. She pulled back the partition, and stepped out of the noise canceling barrier. The moment she did it was like being hit in the gut with a sledge hammer, as something in the fire alarm's tone hit her ears, and she doubled over in pain, clutching her hands over her now throbbing ears. She felt a larger form over her, trying to pick her up, and Cathrine reacted rather instinctively, not even realizing what she was doing when she twisted, found purchase, and bit as hard as she could out of panic. Cathrine heard a grunt as her teeth sunk in, but then soft murmured tones followed it, and she found herself being cradled in warmth and hugged tightly. She blacked out as she started getting a coppery taste in her mouth, and went limp.
A short while later Cathrine came to and she realized quickly she was outside. At the same time she realized she was being held by Rachel, and then that she was completely nude. Luckily Rachel had tucked the smaller female into her over sized robe, keeping the lithe female warm against her larger form and hidden at the same time. Cathrine blushed hard, and with a whimper she shifted in the larger females grasp. That whimper got Rachel's attention, and she looked down into her robe with a grin, "Well good morning cutie"
Cathrine tried to blush deeper, even though it felt like her face was on fire. Rachel chuckled and kissed that puppy like nose, drawing another whimper from the hybrid. The ursine shifted, placing Cathrine on her feet but keeping her tucked against her body. Cathrine just melted into the warmth of the bears body, barely even registering she was doing so. She had in the past only had one person who she had felt close enough and trusted enough to snuggle with like this, but there was something about the larger woman that attracted her deeply, and as much as it made her blush, she pushed into Rachel's body, wrapping her arms around the female below the bears robe, clinging a bit for some stability and comfort.
Rachel blinked and looked down, before smiling gently and reached up to the girl's sleep tousled hair, stroking softly and murmuring soft words of comfort, "Shh, that's a good girl. It'll be okay, shh." Cathrine relaxed more and leaned on the taller form she was hiding against, least until she picked up a rustling on one of the arms that held her. She started a bit and tried to turn her head, but Rachel kept her firmly in place, mumbling, "It's nothing." Cathrine frowned at her but nodded rather meekly and relaxed again. Rebbecca stepped out of the tangle of emergency workers then, coming over to them. Cathrine was too busy trying to push into Rachel's side and deeper under her robe of embarrassment for her state of dress, or lack there of, to listen in, though after a few short words, Rebbecca simply nodded and started pushing though the crowd again, looking for someone else.
Rachel continued to pet the smaller female, and a short while later a hush went over the gathered mix of blended folk. Rebbecca's clear voice spoke up a short while later, filling them all in. Unfortunately for Cathrine, her ears where still ringing and they were too far away for Rebbecca's voice to get over that ringing, but from Rachel's rapt attention in that direction, she was sure that the taller female was listening into everything. Cathrine went limp against Rachel again, more for comfort than anything else. Rachel was startled though and looked down, quickly scooping up the girl again, worried the smaller female had fainted once more. Cathrine just smiled and rubbed her cheek on Rachel's shoulder, tucking against the taller woman again, her tail even finding it's way around the bears waist as she clung to the other female.
About that same time there was a rustle though the gathering, some hands going into the air. A bit of banter back and forth between a male and Rebbecca, and the group started to break up. Rachel carried Cathrine off, the smaller girl not even caring anymore where she was being taken, though she started to pay attention when Rachel slipped not back to their room, but to the common room on the same floor. They had been lucky enough to be on the other end of the building from where the fire was so they knew their room wouldn't be affected, but everyone seemed to be gathering in the common rooms anyway. Cathrine whimpered and squirmed a bit, looking towards their room before up to Rachel with the best begging look she could manage, but the larger woman just smirked and shook her head, carrying Cathrine to one of the couches in the common room.
Rachel settled onto the couch, pulling her robe tightly around herself, and wrapping it better around Cathrine, keeping the smaller female well covered, but giving her the option of sitting up. Of course, Cathrine didn't really feel like she wanted to sit up and curled into Rachel rather embarrassed, trying to hide under the bears over sized robe as if to pretend it was simply lumpy, and not that there was an extra person hiding under it. Rachel couldn't help but laugh, pulling her right arm up her sleeve so she could tuck Cathrine against her more firmly, apparently not phased in the slightest that any of the others who were beginning to fill the common room might notice her stowaway as she started to soothingly rub at Cathrine's shoulder. The smaller hybrid began to relax in her little bear robe cocoon she found herself in, reaching up and rubbing one ear as the ringing finally started to fade.
The floor monitor, a tall female cheetah named Serenity, walked in and gave an extremely exasperated sigh as she flopped onto a large beanbag chair, getting a nervous giggle out of the gathering.
Serenity grinned and sighed, wiggling around to face the group and nodded to them, "Fire's been taken care of, the investigators are in there now trying to get what they can to figure out who did this to us. If anyone thinks they have anything, and I do mean anything, that can provide information to the investigators, please don't hesitate to come let me know. Any questions?"
There was silence that met that question, until a young looking Calico girl put up her hand. Cathrine turned her head rather groggily to see who it was, and blinked a lot in surprise at what she saw. The female wasn't young in the least, probably the same age as herself if not older, but was dressed in a pink baby doll dress and diaper. Cathrine blushed a bit and hid her face again. She knew most of mosaics out there had incontinence issues, she had been very lucky in that area, as she'd stopped needing nighttime aids shortly after she entered school. She had however, completely forgotten that some blended didn't mind this in the least, and actually reveled in the lifestyle. A quick check of those gathered from her floor confirmed this, as the girl who had put up her hand wasn't the only one in childish or even downright infantile garb. Serenity nodded to the Calico. "Yes, Mia?"
Mia cleared her throat, and spoke up, "Will we really have to check in and out each time we leave?" Serenity sighed and nodded, frowning a bit, "It's rather clear that there has been not only a breech of security here, but an attack on us in general, sadly, we are indeed easy targets." She huffed again, but then stood and said in a rather firm voice, "I advise all of you to stick with your roommates, brothers or sisters, and not to go out alone, especially in the next few weeks. Especially at night... and especially if you're female" she paused to the smattering of mock outrage, then shook her head, "I'm sure most of you know how to defend yourselves, however even if you do know self defence, you can still be overwhelmed if there's more then one, I'm sure you all have heard about the public protest on the campus only a few days ago. My advise stands, If no one else has anything, there's someone I need to talk to"
There was a soft murmur, but no one else spoke up, and she waved to signal dismissal back to the rooms. Then to Cathrine's alarm, Serenity walked right over to them, Rachel remaining serenely in place as if she expected it. Cathrine was utterly confused, and reflexively hid against her current seat, getting another soft murmur of "It's okay" from the larger female. Serenity plopped herself down onto the couch, waiting quietly till the common room cleared out, most the other residents simply wanting to get to their rooms, the rest heading that way out of reflex. Once the place was clear, Serenity glanced to the hiding girl and chuckled softly, "Don't have to be scared little dear. I won't bite... well, unless you ask." Cathrine giggled nervously, but only half relaxed, still blushing and now clutching onto the robe, pulling it more tightly around her, getting a squeeze for her troubles.
Serenity was watching them, then said softly, "Rebbecca told me what happened... can I see? I'm a med student you know" there was something in the cheetah's voice that was calming, and Cathrine relaxed a bit. Ursa shifted and sighed, but pulled her left arm out of the robe, letting the thick robe fall a little, which Cathrine automatically clutched at tighter. On Rachel's left forearm, and what had been that earlier heard rustling, was a roughly wrapped, plastic covered bandage. Cathrine stared at it in shock, then as things registered, she went wide eyed, then looked up at the ursine she sat on with a mortified look. She started to get up, but felt Rachel's arm tighten around her, firmly keeping the smaller girl in place. Cathrine could only sit there utterly ashamed of herself, staring at her grip on Rachel's robe, swallowing hard and keeping her ears pinned back against her hair.
Serenity sighed and reached over, rubbing on Cathrine's shoulder, saying in her calm tone, "Hey, relax. It was an accident, kiddo." Cathrine flushed a bit, but nodded mutely, blushing even harder when Serenity continued, "We're rather used to accidents around here, of all kinds" Cathrine swallowed but looked up to see that both older females were grinning, and she managed to relax a bit, muttering softly, "Sorry..." Rachel just chuckled and reached up with her right hand, rubbing on Cathrine's neck while Serenity undid the elastic bandage, and peered at the bite wound on the bears forearm. She blinked a bit at the marks muttering, "Oi you've got one heck of a bite kiddo, Just a moment" and moved over to the first aid kit that was mounted to the wall, pulling out a tube, fresh gauze and a new elastic bandage. Cathrine still couldn't help but to stare at the wound she now knew she made, and her ears drooped again.
Rachel fought very hard not to grin, finding the downcast looking girl that currently occupied her lap so incredibly cute. Instead she gently scruffed her, gripping the fur on the back of the hybrid's neck gently, tugging the younger female against her. She really did grin when Cathrine curled into her meekly, and they together watched Serenity work. The cheetah first using a blueish goop on the deeper wounds, then a spray on the smaller wounds that trailed off. She carefully and gingerly wrapped the gauze around it before gently securing the lot with the more comfortable cloth elastic bandage. Serenity grinned then, reaching over to rub on Cathrine's shoulder as she said gently, "Nothing to it, I'll come by and check on it tonight or tomorrow morning, that gel should help it heal within a couple days, pretty clean wounds." Serenity paused a moment, before looking to the grizzly, "What caused it? all Rebbecca mentioned was a reaction to the alarms?"
Rachel nodded, still rubbing Cathrine's scruff softly, which was making the smaller white hybrid shudder softly. Rachel pretended not to notice as she casually said, "Yeah, Woke up to the alarm blaring and pulled the partition open, apparently only seconds after the kitten here... the next moment however I saw her collapse like she'd been hit over the head, clutching her ears. When I went to help her up and get her out of the room, then, well..." breaking off, just lifting her now re-bandaged arm slightly.
Serenity looked thoughtful a moment then nodded, "I'll let Rebbecca know, must be something in the pitch that the alarms use she's picking up that no one else had yet" She grinned a bit and patted Cathrine's hair softly before standing, "Better take that kitten of yours and get her some clothing"
By this time not only was Cathrine mortified, she was utterly red in the face, she'd even managed to press her tail against the back of her legs as she attempted to hide her face against Rachel's neck. The grizzly chuckled softly and licked at Cathrine's cheek, murmuring gently, "Wasn't your fault kitten, just an accident."
Cathrine flushed deeper and squirmed, looking around to make sure they were now alone, though couldn't help herself but to ask with a soft whimper, "Can we go back to the room?" Rachel answered by pulling her robe off, then tightly wrapping the younger girl in her now unused robe, leaving the larger fem in only a blue tank top and grey flannel pants, both of which looked like Rachel had owned them for years. The taller grizzly then picked her up again, cuddling the now wrapped up girl against her as she carried her back to their room. Once there Rachel hip bumped the door's panel, and her cell phone in her pocket pinged the door, which she opened after a short shuffle with Cathrine, over the girl's protests of not having to be carried.
Rachel grinned down at her passenger and murred in a teasing tone, "But I like carrying you" grinning even more when it got the reaction she wanted out of the smaller femme, that nice deep blush she'd already grown to enjoy seeing on those white furred cheeks. Cathrine coughed softly and muttered something unintelligible, curling in on Rachel tighter. The grizzly merely squeezed the girl in her arms gently before kissing her forehead softly, which made Cathrine whimper, shivering again and hiding her face against the taller woman's shoulder.
Rachel watched her a bit before heading not to Cathrine's bed, but to her own, laying the girl down onto her rather thick over sized mattress before crawling in and curling around Cathrine carefully. Cathrine blinked and blushed again, opening her mouth before closing it, not really knowing what to say. The bear smiled gently and chuckled, "I suppose I should have asked huh, would you rather be in your own bed instead?" Cathrine stared over Rachel at her own bed across the way a moment, before shaking her head and turning, curling into Rachel, not bothering to untangle herself from the robe. The fact she knew she was still undressed underneath made her blush deeper then she already was.
She felt Rachel reach back and pull the curtain down and turning down the lights to candlelight level, returning the den like feeling to the bed. There was a bit of adjustments, before Rachel pulled the smaller femme halfway onto her, wrapping her arms around the bundled girl and nuzzling her cheek against Cathrine's with a gentle murmur, "You seemed like you needed it."
Cathrine paused a moment before nodding, pressing into the larger form of the grizzly bear now under her. She chewed on her lower lip for a long while as she lay there, thinking hard before whimpering a bit and breaking the silence timidly, "There's... something I didn't tell you earlier, and I think I should have" she swallowed hard, "Since because of... you know, what happened earlier." Rachel simply nodded, reaching up again, scruffing the girl again with a gentle tone in her voice, "Take your time kitten."
Cathrine nodded, clearing her throat and starting, swallowing hard again, unable to put it into words. Rachel found them for her, speaking gently, "It's what you didn't say about that attack isn't it?" The hybrid found herself balking, but she nodded and swallowed, saying in a tiny voice, "Wasn't... just an attack." She found herself shivering, trying not to let the images well up, but it was hard. She felt Rachel's arms tighten around her, the ursine not saying a word just yet. Cathrine swallowed and started to speak again, before she was interrupted by a soft voice over her, "You don't have to say if you don't want to kitten, it's okay"
Cathrine looked up, her own sapphire blue eyes meeting Rachel's sky blue ones. There was something in the bears eyes, something strong, warming, something loving. The hybrid swooned and melted against the bear, rolling up against the larger form a bit, finding herself pressing her nose against the bottom of Rachel's chin a long moment, getting a nose full of the bears scent. The older woman smelled of vanilla, and a hint of something fruity. Rachel blinked in surprise, but re-adjusted, pushing up against the pillows slightly, hugging Cathrine to her more tightly, shifting so the smaller hybrid could lay on top of her larger frame.
Cathrine remained like that for a while before she whimpered a bit, then sighed softly, whispering into the dim, "They did.. t-things.. with me. a-against my wishes.. Ca-can't remember everything, hurt.... hurt so bad I... I blacked out...." Rachel's arms tightened around the smaller female, but she didn't interrupt this time. Cathrine closed her eyes, then opened them so she could stare at Rachel's brown fur, and continued after a moment, "I can still feel their hands sometimes... I still get nightmares.... I... I'm sorry I bit you Rachel"
The larger female gave a weak chuckle and scruffed the hybrid again, smiling to her as she tugged ever so gently to get Cathrine to look up at her, "Like I said kitten... call me Ursa" the grizzly chuckled again, "And if it's a reason like that... you are more the forgiven little one, a reaction most understandable." She tugged on scruff in her hand again, grinning down to her at the reaction Cathrine gave, who whimpered softly as she shivered against the larger female. Rachel murred softly, rubbing her other hand down the girl's back softly, her grin growing even wider at the fact the lithe form under her paw arched after it. Cathrine whimpered and folded her ears back, biting her lip softly, not even knowing what was happening, she'd never felt this immediately close to anyone before, or so strongly attracted for that matter.
"Too much?" Cathrine looked up biting her lip at Rachel's voice and after a long moment, slowly nodded, which changed to shaking her head, then whimpered softly, "I don't know..." She looked up in time to see the toothy smile, and blushed. Rachel chuckled and murmured to her, "I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that besides that... incident... You've had little to nothing in the way of intimate relations?" Cathrine whimpered and flushed, nodding a bit and whispering softly, "Only with one person... never.. really trusted anyone else since then"
Cathrine looked up in time to see Rachel tilt her head curiously and prompt, "Who?" Cathrine blushed a bit deeper and squirmed, chewing on her lower lip before whimpering out softly, "My neighbor and best friend.... Vanessa" Cathrine looked up and squeaked a bit at the grin that crossed those ursine lips and swallowed hard. That grin was suddenly predatory, almost hungry, and Cathrine couldn't help but to squirm in reaction to it, there was just something about that grin that made her shiver... and made her hot.
Rachel got even more toothy and Cathrine felt her suddenly grip on her waist. The next thing that Cathrine realized was Rachel had twisted with her, pinning the smaller female underneath her. Cathrine swallowed, folding her ears back, and going wide eyed, frozen in place, even without the heavier female over her. Rachel watched her a moment, moving her hands up, gently gripping the girl's wrists and pulling them up above her head. Cathrine swallowed hard, breathing faster, but let Rachel do what she wanted, ears folding back further, but more out of meekness then out of fear, both of which were making the smaller hybrid's heart race. Rachel wrapped both of the smaller girl's wrists in one paw, though gently, barely holding them in place, allowing Cathrine more then enough room to pull her arms away if she tried.
Cathrine gulped and shivered, but lay still, watching the larger female above her. Rachel slowly pulled open the robe Cathrine still wore, but barely, only exposing that slenderly smooth stomach. Cathrine shivered again with the tiniest of whimpers, but groaned softly when she felt Rachel's other hand starting to glide over her stomach softly. The sensation of it made her shake a bit, she arched her body and felt herself pull against that large hand around her wrists, not to get away, but to try to push harder into the warm digits that were now lacing though her fur. Cathrine heard a low husky sounding chuckle from above, and she mewled softly, getting another wide smirk out of the ursine.
Rachel murred, leaning down to press her lips against the fur above Cathrine's belly button, murmuring into it with a voice slightly deeper then normal, "Goddess you're so sexy... want to take you right now, really make you my kitten... but not yet" Cathrine squeaked again, trying to speak, but only managing a curious sounding whimper. Rachel grinned and chuckled, coming up to gently kiss the girl under her. Cathrine felt overwhelmed by the warmth of the kiss, melting into it, going limp under the older woman, and she groaned into that simple but ever so hot kiss. Rachel pulled back and chuckled at the dazed look on Cathrine's face, and moved from over her, laying beside her and pressing to her side before she said in soft tones, "You're not ready yet, and I don't want to push you that far, not this fast. I want it to be good for you... and for that I need you to trust me."
Cathrine started to protest, and was muted by the large brown hand that come up to rest on her mouth, Rachel smiled softly and then rubbed her cheek gently, "I'll know when you do kitten, and it won't be told by words... now sleep baby girl, we both need it" Cathrine flushed red again, swallowed but nodded, wiggling and pressing against Rachel's larger form, curling up slightly. She got a kiss to the forehead and a patting on her hip as a reward, but Rachel had been right, and sleep overcame the two females quickly.
