I wish I had donkey ears

I wish I had donkey ears,
They would be so neat and cool.
Everyone would see me and think
That I'm as strong-willed as a mule.
But really, they would be so cute,
Flicking this way and that when I'm cheerful.
Nothing better than big donkey ears,
When someone wants to give you an earful.
BUT WAIT
My head is still tingling, my neck feeling warm,
I must be going insane,
But I do feel hairs torrenting out of my pores,
As if I was growing a mane!
I can feel my thighs and legs swell,
Denser muscles straining my clothes,
And between my swelling butt cheeks
A new, alien limb grows.
And as my legs cramp and shift
And I almost drunkenly sway,
I can feel my throat twisting and tensing
And let out a loud donkey-ish BRAY!
My chest tingles, barreling bigger,
I cannot resist this force
As it reshapes my spine without mercy,
Throwing me down on all fours.
I lower my head, braying even more,
My long, blocky muzzle grows,
Gray and brown fur covering my body
From my ears to my non-existent toes.
And here I am, you see,
Unable to keep still and silent.
I only wanted a pair of donkey ears,
But now I'm an ass from the Pleasure Island.
