"I don't know where Sam went! She always waits for me to get up before she leaves!"

"Hhhhmmm, maybe something urgent came up and she didn't have time to tell you."

"Maybe, but I don't know. After my parents..."

"Okay well go to the mage barracks and see if she's there." Jackie nods and Tona carries her to the barracks. Once there Tona finds a human mage and asks.

"Hey we're looking for Samantha. Is she here at all?"

"Let me check." The mage heads in and after a few minutes she says. "Master Malchor says she's on a special assignment and will be gone awhile."

"Define a while."

"A few days I think he wasn't specific."

"Why wouldn't she tell me she was going? Wait her special sack is still at home she wouldn't go anywhere out of the city with out it." Jackie says.

"Are you sure Jackie?" Tona asks.

"Yes, I don't know how. I just know she's in trouble and somewhere near."

"Okay." She looks back at the mage. "Can you tell the Mage Master that I'd like to see him."

"Sadly he told me he would be busy the rest of the day but I'll give him the message that you want to see him."

"Thank you."

"What about Sam!?" Jackie asks frantically.

"Jackie, I'm just a civilian. I don't have much say around here. Now we'll go to my place so I can pick up a few things and then we'll head to your place. I stay there until Samantha comes home." With a look of defeat Jackie relents and they head for Tona's place.

Over the next few days there's silence from Malchor as far as Tona is concerned. She tried going through the other branches of the army but all end with Malchor being unavailable for her at the moment. She takes Jackie out to play with some of the other kids to take the young Kanin's mind of the disappearance of her adopted mother. Tona supports her head with one paw as she mindlessly nibbles on a piece of food. Most of her mind is focused on what to do. While Samantha was clearly hesitant around the term Jackie's mother she wouldn't just up and leave to pup without a word and Jackie continues to have the same feeling of Samantha in trouble somewhere nearby. As a result the poor Kanin pup hasn't been sleeping well. "Excuse me milady." Someone says and jerks Tona out of her thinking. She looks over and sees a well dressed elf looking down at her.

"Can I help you sir?"

"I was wondering if I could help YOU. You seemed so depressed. Is it something to do with your pup." He points to Jackie.

"No she isn't mine. I'm just looking after her until her adopted mother is found."

"Oh, well who is her mother?"

"Samantha Reborn, she works for the Battle Mages. A few days ago she just disappeared. The head mage says she's on a mission but Jackie there thinks that's wrong for she didn't take her long journey equipment nor said goodbye. And I now agree, if Samantha was gonna be gone this long she would have had me look after Jackie but Jackie found me while trying to find her."

"Well I'm Sir Ganfree and Malchor will listen to me so Why don't you grab Jackie and we'll see what's going on." Tona collects Jackie and the trio head to the Mage barracks. When they arrive Ganfree approaches an anthro coyote and says. "I need to see Malchor right away!"

"Master Mage Malchor is at his home Sir Knight." The trio then head to his home. Halfway there the feel an explosion and see smoke coming from the mage's house. The trio starts running to the house.

Samantha's days have been filled with hanging and rape. Everyday or possibly night Malchor will show up and will either rape her vaginally or more recently anally. The pain is amazing yet her body isn't actually being harmed so he can keep this up as long as her mind can. The next hour he whips her all around. In the leg, the arm, chest, breast, buttocks, back, now her pussy. She strains against her bonds from the pain and trying to break free. Instantly her bonds dissipates and she walks to Malchor. He cast a simple bolt at the Catrai but she simply swipes her hand and the bolt bounces off and hits the wall. Malchor start to show some fear and gathers the bulk of his energy into a spell. Samantha stops and waits for him to be done. Finally after minutes of casting he cast the spell. A horizontal pillar of bluish light heads towards the still smirking Samantha. She roars and a red colored shield appears as the beam hits. Instead of exploding as Malchor planned it instead is rebounds and head for him. He raises his arms as the beam hits cause a major explosion.

Ganfree,Tona, and Jackie arrive as the smoke begins to clear. A whole side of the building was gone. They find Malchor lying on the ground his clothes burnt and him unconscious. An evil laugh destroys the silence and the trio turns to look. They all see a black Catrai in what you might call a peter pan pose with her head back laughing to the sky. Jackie is the first to recognize the feline woman. "SAM!" The Catrai turns towards them and smiles evilly again casts a fireball at them. Ganfree knocks the girls to the ground as the fireball goes overhead burning his back. Jackie manages to struggle free of his grasp. Samantha jumps into the air and lands near the trio. She prepares for a killing blow to Ganfree when Jackie appears in front of her. "Sam, what are you doing?" The Kanin pup looks at Samantha with those cute puppy dog eyes that have a hint of fear. Samantha pauses for a minute. Then she holds her head and crouches facing away from them and she growls in pain her body shivering. Jackie outs her paw on Samantha's back and Samantha stops shivering and soon her stripes reappear. Eventually Samantha looks behind her ands sees Jackie with her blue eyes again. She then hugs the Kanin pup and asks

"You okay Jackie?"

"Now that your, here. I was afraid you'd left me."

"Never Jackie never." They hug for a few minutes before a groan gets their attention. Ganfree is still on ground teeth gritted in pain. Tona is trying to get out from under the night but she isn't as small as Jackie. Samantha heads over and lifts Ganfree off of her and she begins healing him. Soldiers finally arrive as Ganfree is slowly getting up.

"Sir Ganfree! Are you alright?"

"I will be." The elf looks at Samantha who was holding Jackie close to her seeming to get comfort from the pup. "Did Malchor have you this whole time?"

"Yes. He said He has a mission for me so I came here and he stripped me of my magic and raped me." All the adults flinch at that and Ganfree looks down and asks "Why?"

"He was jealous of my fame and was afraid he'd be replaced."

"Soldiers take this trash to the magic dungeon. Samantha after a healer checks you out you can go home, but I want to meet you tomorrow about this. Especially what just happened."

"Yes Sir Ganfree." Samantha bows her head then she feels a hand on her shoulder. She looks up and sees Ganfree with a slight smile.

"Glad to see you safe." Samantha nods with Tona slightly following behind. Samantha looks behind her and sees Tona's fear of her.

"Please Tona, don't fear me! I've had my fill of fear already. Come to my home and I'll explain. Please!" Seeing Samantha's sincerity Tona agrees. They head home with Samantha carrying Jackie the entire way. They then sit down Tona on a chair while Samantha and Jackie on the couch. Looking at Jackie Samantha takes deep breath and begins. "Tona, Jackie, I'm going to tell you about my past something I hoped for the most part wanted to forget. I was born human with no magic. I eventually found someone who new how to change that. When he did I became a Panther Catrai and I finally could use magic. But my thirst for knowledge didn't end there. I look for someone to teach me more and I found Siana. My biggest mistake ever. At first I became her apprentice but quickly became more of a puppet. I.....did horrible things....things I'm deeply ashamed of. For 5 years that was my life until Amura." A smile appears on Samantha's face. "Amura was a Tiger pure blood Catrai of royal blood she was actually their princess's sister though she was denied that knowledge for fear of her wanting the throne. She was even denied training in her magic thus when she was old enough she left to find people to teach her. She found many to teach her various spells and powers but she eventually came to my door. Though Siana wasn't personally in my mind all the time her influence was and a trained Amura in what I knew. She eventually grew stronger than me in more ways than one. After an incident where her dark side went on a rampage she had had enough and was going to leave. Siana didn't like that and using me as her vessel she tried to enslave Amura. She nearly won until Amura got in a blow and stabbed me in the heart. Dying Siana completely left me and I was truly myself again. Dying I thanked Amura for freeing me and I told her the truth she was denied about her past. I waited for death and the judgment for my crimes but Amura wouldn't have it. Modifying a possession spell she saved me, though my body died my mind and soul her preserved in her body. For weeks we were like that, sharing one body. He found the man who originally changed me and he told us where to go to fix the problem. This body is a mirror image of Amura and when we visited her friends she was always quick to defend me. She loved me despite all I did, she blamed Siana for them. Sadly this happy time was to end. Siana had captured most of her friends and in exchange for their freedom I had to serve her again. Amura, her best friend Chenoa, Even Validus and Elvira came to end Siana's plan and for Amura save me, but it wasn't to be. Siana sent both me and Validus to a world of darkness and ice. Knowing we're both going to die Validus planned on avenging a girl's life that I took while a pawn of Siana. I convince him to let me finish working on a portal to get us out. After a failed attempt I manage to open a portal but it was unstable. Only he could go through because I had to maintain it. After a little hesitation he did and the portal collapsed and I prepared for death once again. To my surprise I was still alive and somewhere else. Save by a powerful entity that called himself Admiral Q and he sent me here."

"Why?" Tona asked. Samantha looks at Jackie

"For Jackie, Why he didn't tell me just that Jackie needs me." Samantha looks at Tona. "I believe that my dark side was suppressed and locked away instead of gone as I thought and Malchor's whipping unleashed her. If it hadn't been for Jackie there could have been a lot of bodies."

"What do you plan to do?"

"Somehow get rid of that darkside if I can, but I don't know how yet. What about you Tona?"

"I have a lot to think about, but for now I'll get my things and go home."

"Okay. No matter what happens Tona you are my friend and I'll help you in need, even if you reject my friendship." Tona nods then gathers her stuff and walks out. Jackie and Samantha have a meal and Samantha asks Jackie. "How do you feel about this?"

"Well Sam your darkside is scary but you aren't bad just your darkside and I have nowhere to go."

"There's always Tona. I know see likes you. If I ever get bad you can always go to her."

"She isn't you though. I'll stay." Samantha hugs Jackie and says.

"Thank you. With Amura not here you are my light." After such a day both decide to got to bed though in Samantha's bed. Both fall asleep hugging each other in comfort and safety.
