Pozzy Visits Equestria
I honestly expected this one to get more love! I mean, it's My Little Pony clopfiction!
anyway, I don't like writing fanfiction, and I'm particularly not fond of sexualizing nonsexual characters (kids show mascots, etc), but I think the path I took with this story is just enough to be Kinky and sensual without it being blatant clopfiction.
In this story, Pozzy leaves the Nordic mountains to go to the next leg of his trip: Canterlot. However, the train trip has to do a layover in Ponyville for a few hours before taking him and the other passengers there. While looking around Ponyville City Square, an errant spell accidentally conjures a dragon egg inside pozzy, which he has t get out before leaving town. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Fluttershy all have to pool their resources and unique skills to help the ponified platypus get that egg out!
Truth be told, I actually really like how I kept the story structure and dialogue really close to what you'd expect from the actual show, but I still don't like that I wrote Clopfiction. Have mercy :P
It had been a truly remarkable vacation for Pozzy, the lithe green and orange platypus. After many years of hard work, he'd finally decided to take a month off and travel the globe. His first destination was northern Europe, where he went mountain climbing and got introduced to a hero of his: Toothless the Dragon. Turns out, Toothless was on his own vacation, migrating to the night fury's mating site, where he found a beautiful, cream speckled night fury with whom he'd had an egg. Pozzy, being the curious and lucky little platypus he was, happened to basically walk in on the laying of the egg, urging Toothless to claim Pozzy as his own.
Once the egg had been laid and the nest properly prepared, Pozzy spent an entire week with the dragons, helping them out with whatever they needed, taking special care of Toothless's needs.
But after his week in northern Europe had come to an end, he decided it was time to move on, and he went back to the mainland, where he took a three day trip on a train to a little nation known as Equestria. While most of the world was filled with all sorts of species, Equestria was populated almost entirely by equines, be they donkey, pony, or horse.
After a night of sleeping on the train, he woke in his quarters to see it was morning and he was almost at his destination. He looked out at the landscape rushing by his window, the gentle morning sun filtering through trees as they swept by. He leaned against the cool window to look ahead and could see that he was just outside the Equestrian border, and would be arriving within minutes. The border was a small toll booth accompanied by a massive clear pink wall that looked like a magic barrier of sorts.
Pozzy quacked eagerly, he'd never been through a force field before! "Oh yeah, this is gonna be awesome!" He said to himself.
The train began to slow down as it got close to the barrier, eventually stopping entirely just before the engine got to the pink wall. After a few seconds standing still, the train started back up with a lurch, creeping along as the train cars each slipped, one by one, through the barrier.
Pozzy was in one of the rear cars, so he had a few minutes to wait before he passed through the barrier, but as it did he got up to his feet and spread his hands out. He saw the barrier rush at him and pass right through him, a tingly sensation rocking his body, causing him to fall over into his seat. He tried to get back up but noticed he couldn't get his balance on his feet, he had to stay on all fours.
"Wait, what's going on here?" Pozzy said aloud as he looked at his hand. It was no longer a hand, it was a blunt, featureless stump. He looked up and down his body and found that he had lost most of his features in lieu of simple, broad colors and shapes. He got a look at himself in the mirror and laughed aloud. He was quadruped now, and he looked distinctly simplified compared to his usually detailed body, except he had a horn and wings! He looked like an alicorn, save the fact that his tail was still blunt and wide, and he had a beak instead of a muzzle! "Hah! Looks about right to me!"
************************************************************************
About an hour later, the train made a stop in the Ponyville station, needing to pick up some fruits and vegetables before it continued onto Canterlot.
Pozzy got out of his car and looked around. The entire town square was bright and colorful, pastel shades of red and orange and green and blue. There was a massive banner hanging from two buildings just down the road that read, "Welcome to Ponyville: Home of the Dragon's Basket Celebration."
The platypus wondered just what the dragon's basket celebration was, but just as he was about to ask a fellow traveller he heard the thunderous pounding of a herd of ponies running towards him. He turned to look, and saw a pink floofy-haired pony with a basket in her mouth, running away from a purple unicorn, who was chasing her.
"Pinkieeee pieeee, get back here!" The purple one shouted as she aimed her horn down and blasted some magic towards the pink one, narrowly missing her and the basket in her mouth.
"You'll never catch me Twilight, I won't let you put your egg in my basket! Nevarrrr!" Pinkie Pie laughed, basket still in mouth before she darted behind a pole.
Twilight kept chase, shooting bolt after bolt after her.
Pozzy leaned forward to try to get Twilight's attention so he could ask her about Dragon's Basket, but just as he brought a single paw up to ask, she ran past him, making him spin on the spot and get dizzy before falling on his flat, green tail.
"You can't find me!" Pinkie laughed, her head poking out from a shop window, basket still in her mouth.
Twilight tried shooting her again, but missed as she ducked back into the building.
"Silly, I'm over here!" There was a sound of a blast and party buzzer coming from the train window, covering Pozzy with streamers and confetti, making him shake his head to rid himself of it.
"Uh, girls?" he quacked, trying to get their attention.
Twilight stopped moving entirely as her horn began to glow with purple magic. "Aha, I'll find you Pinkie, you can't break all the rules, you know!" She closed her eyes and a wave of magic enveloped the train station before converging in an arrow leading right to behind the "Ponyville station' sign. "Gotcha!" She giggled, triumphant.
Just then, Pinkie dashed out from behind the sign to behind Pozzy, who was still swaying back and forth, dizzy; she appeared to disappear behind him even though she was slightly bigger than he was.
Twilight, seeing her move, immediately blasted a shot of magic at Pinkie, but missed and her bolt hit Pozzy square in the belly, causing him to fly backwards, landing in a heap on the train dock, knocking him out.
************************************************************************
"Uuuuungh, quack indeed." Pozzy moaned as he tried to open his eyes. Everything was blurry for a few moments as he tried to focus himself. "Ugh, what happened?" He tried to look around, but could barely make out the room he was in, save the massive purple blob sitting beside his bed.
"Uh, we had a little accident." Twilight explained nervously, trying to laugh as she ran her hoof through her mane.
The platypus blinked a few times more as he got up, rubbing his head. "What kind of accident? What were you and Pinkie doing?"
"Oh, we were playing a game. Eggy in the basket, it's called. It's a traditional game that most fillies and colts play during the Dragon Basket Celebration in honor of the dragon mating season. A group of friends each run around with a basket, while the person who's 'it' has to catch up with them and place a dragon egg and put it in their basket." She pushed her chest out with a grin, happy to inform the platypus of the tradition.
Pozzy let out a long quack as he rolled over onto his side, squinting at Twilight. "So why were you shooting at your friend?"
"Oh, that was a conjuration spell. Much easier than keeping it in a saddle bag and having it wrapped up in a net. They said I was cheating, but there wasn't anything in the rules about HOW you get it into the basket. I know, I read them all front to back and even gave myself a test to make sure I knew!"
Pozzy couldn't help but laugh, a gentle quack as he fell back onto his pillow. "Sounds about right." A smile crew itself across his face as the corners of his beak curled up, his tail flapped gently against the cool white sheets of the bed.
"You're in my home for now while I try to get that thing out of you."
"Thing out of me?" Pozzy asked as he looked down at his body. Underneath the white sheet was a massive dome! It was like he had a cured up pillow on his belly! He pulled the sheet away to see that his belly had grown to almost double its normal size, bulging out like he'd been inflated like a balloon! His eyes widened and he jumped out of the bed, limbs flailing in the air before he fell to the ground. "What's that?!" He quacked nervously.
"Uh, that's the dragon's egg!"
"How did it get inside me?"
"Well, uh...."She paused to stroke her mane some more, her horn glowing as a book hovered over in front of her, which she read. "Well, it looks like when I hit you with the conjuration spell, it went through your belly fur, but stopped in your belly, and now you've got a dragon egg in you! Uh, congratulations, you're gonna be a mommy!" She tried to fake a smile. "But no worries, we're gonna find a way to get it out of you so you can be on your way to wherever it is you're going." She tossed the book back to the shelf.
"Why would you wanna do that?" Pozzy asked, holding his belly.
"Why wouldn't you? That's a very big egg, where's it gonna go?
"I'll just try to pass it myself, thank you very much." Pozzy said as he got to his four feet, his gravid belly hanging down. He was still a little weirded out by having to walk on all fours, but his change in body type allowed it with ease, so he got used to it quickly even if the weight of the egg put a strain on his back.
"You sure about that?" She asked, one eyebrow raised. "That's a preeeety big egg."
Pozzy held his beak and tail up high, pride in his eyes. "I've passed many very big eggs in my time, you know, I'm sure this will just take some time to get through me."
"Well, if you say so, I mean, you do have...wait, you have a cutie mark? You're not even a pony, you're a duck!"
Pozzy stopped strutting around to look Twilight in the eye. "I am not a duck, I am a platypus."
"Oh, well that explains the lack of feathers and the orange fur, I guess. I admit my avian biology isn't exactly up to snuff. Perhaps I'll do some more anatomy research before...wait, you can be my research subject!" She quickly dashed off to get a science kit that had vials and chemicals in it.
"Yay! Science!" Pozzy quacked, trying to clap his paws together but failing. He quickly glanced on his rump cheek to see his cutie mark; it was a nest with three small eggs in it! How appropriate!
Twilight laughed as she put her science kit away. "I'm not going to experiment on you, don't worry." she used some magic to pluck a tuft of his fur from his neck, and she put it in a little baggie before putting it away in her saddlebags. "But I do need a sample."
"Eep! Be careful!"
"So, are you gonna pass that egg, or not? I can't really let you leave until you do."
Pozzy cocked his head to the side. "Wait why can't I leave?
"Well, I really wouldn't want you to go to Canterlot with a belly like that and no way to get it out of you, the results could be disastrous."
"I can't keep it in me a little while?" He faked a cry, pretending to wipe a tear. "But I wanna be a mommy!" He held his featureless stumps over his belly.
Twilight sighed. "I tried reading all about conjuration spells, and while some ethereal items will go away in time, that's a real dragon's egg, and as long as it's inside you, you're not going to be able to eat or do anything, it has to come out. If you can't do it, I'll have to try to magic it out."
"Well that's no fun." Pozzy quacked, clicking his broad beak and lowering his tail to cover his rump as he sat down. Twilight stared at him expectantly, but he really didn't want to lay the egg just yet, he wanted to keep it inside him a while longer. He rubbed his belly gently, feeling the hard surface of the dragon's egg inside him.
"How long do you have before that train is filled with fruits and vegetables and leaves for Canterlot? Two hours? Maybe three?"
"Quack." He sighed, defeated. He continued to rub his belly as he sat on his tail, his smile drooping into a frown. "I guess I have to let it go, eh?"
"Yes, and if you could please do so in a timely manner, I'd like to get back to the celebrations with my friends."
Reluctantly, Pozzy got up and fluttered back up onto the bed which he assumed was there so that he could lay the egg. He got onto his back and spread his legs, laying his paws on his belly. "Well, I only knew you for a little while, but it's time to go, I guess." He said to the egg as he took in a deep breath and tensed up all his muscles; he could feel the egg sliding through his body and making its way to his rump before he had to take a breath. He could feel it resting inside his hips, but he had to go again. He'd laid plenty of eggs in his time, this wasn't much bigger than them!
Once again he took in a deep breath and clenched down all his belly muscles, using his paws to push on the egg a bit more. Once again he felt the massive orb slip through bits of his body until he could almost feel the crown of the shell poking out, but there was an abrupt stop as the sides of the egg nestles in his hip bones, stopping dead. He let out his breath in a long, pained quack. "Come on, you can do this." He urged himself as he tried again, taking in a deep breath and clenching down what he could, but nothing happened, the egg didn't move another inch. He released his muscles once again in an even longer, more drawn out quack.
He reached down between his legs and rubbed at the egg; he could feel its smoothe shell poking out of him, the rim of his birthing canal drooling bits of lubricating fluid.
Twilight was standing at the bottom of his bed, her eyes wide as she looked at his hind end, the top of the egg poking out of his posterior. She was in shock. "Wow, that is one big egg." she marvelled. "Maybe I can teleport it out from here." she offered. Before Pozzy could protest, she leaned her head down as her horn began to glow that familiar lavender.
With a sudden pop and crackle, Pozzy noticed he was in a different place, the scenery looked slightly different as he was looking at a different part of the ceiling. He shook his head to re situate himself before looking down, noticing he was hovering over the ground.
"Aah!" he shouted as he flailed his limbs before falling on his back, legs still spread and wings crushed beneath him.
"Well that didn't work." Twilight said.
"What are you doing?" Pozzy asked. "I said I wanted to pass it naturally!"
Twilight laughed. "What's natural about an egg I magically put inside you? Besides, it looked really big, and I didn't want you to hurt yourself laying it, so I tried to use my magic to teleport it out of you! I would have tried that earlier, but I knew if I couldn't see it, I'd just move your entire body with it! Looks like that's what happened anyway, so I guess we can scratch that off the list. Spike, take a note!"
The little purple and green dragon poked his head out from his little perch on the second level. "No, I'm not talking to you today, Twilight."
"Spike, we've been over this. It's just an infertile dragon egg, No little baby dragon is inside it, it's just yolk and stuff."
"I don't care, take your own note, I'll see you tomorrow!" He grumped as he stepped away, disappearing to his bed.
"Well that didn't work well at all." Twilight laughed as she looked back at Pozzy. "Now what am I going to do about you?"
The platypus rolled over and got to his feet, clenching his muscles to suck the egg back in, making sure the tip of it didn't keep hanging out as he walked around. He didn't want to look too silly, and besides, he kind of liked the feeling of the massive orb sliding in and out of him, inch by inch. It made his hind legs weak. "I am okay having the egg in me, I promise I'll get it out." Pozzy assured her. "Besides, I like the feeling."
"Well that's a little weird." Twilight said before she started pacing. "What to do, what to do." After a few rounds, she stopped and smiled. "I've got it!"
Pozzy got a worried look on his beak. "Quack, indeed."
***************************************************************************
After putting a spell on Pozzy, Twilight teleported the both of them to Cloudsdale, where they went to meet up with Rainbow Dash.
"Excuse me, is Rainbow Dash around?" Twilight asked random pegasi. After about fifteen minutes of searching, she heard a familiar voice.
"Is someone looking for the fastest mare in Cloudsdale? No, the fastest in Equestria?" It was Rainbow Dash, relaxing on a particularly comfy looking cloud as she hovered above them both.
"Quack!" Pozzy exclaimed, looking up at the multicolored tail that stuck out from the side of the cloud.
Instantly, Rainbow Dash flipped over and looked at the source of, what was to her, the very peculiar sound. "What's a quack?" She asked as she got a look at the 4-legged, orange furred platypus with the green beak and flat tail.
"That's a platypus." Twilight explained. "Evidently they are not native to Equestria."
"Yeah, cool, whatever." Dash dismissed. "What do you need, Twi?"
"I need a bit of your help helping our....avian friend?" she asked, one eyebrow raised as she said 'avian', openly wondering if that was the proper term.
"Mammal, actually." Pozzy explained, "The beak throws a lot of poeple off-"
"Yeah whatever. What happened to him?" Dash interupped.
"Well, earlier this morning, Pinkie and I decided to play a game of-"
"The short version, please." Dash interrupted again.
"I accidentally did some magic and conjured up an egg in his belly, and now we can't get it out."
Rainbow Dash paused a moment to glare at Pozzy and his distended belly before breaking out in an all-out laugh. "AAHAHAA! You got an egg...in...and you can't...." she continued laughing for about thirty seconds before stopping to look at Pozzy and Twilight.
Twilight wasn't laughing. "It's not funny, Rainbow Dash."
"Oh come on Twi, even you have to admit it's kinda funny. You, like, NEVER miss with your magic, and how did you even manage to somehow miss him entirely? And what do you think I can do to help, you're the egghead....hah, egghead, classic!" She continued to laugh out loud, slamming her hooves on the cloud.
"Rainbow!" Twilight said sternly.
"Okay, okay...fine. What do you want me to do, Twi?"
Twilight glared at her and motioned for the pegasus to come down from the cloud so the two of them could talk privately, which she did.
As the two of them were huddled over, whispering to each other, Pozzy fell back on his rump and slapped his tail at the cloud, watching little puffs emerge from the side with each slap. He rubbed his belly and alternated pushing the egg out and clenching, enjoying the sensation of the egg sliding in and out of him, poking at the clouds before being sucked back in.
The two mares kept occasionally looking over their shoulders at Pozzy. The platypus got little snippets of conversation in between bouts of hushed whispers. "You sure?" "Oh yeah, no problem." "What else?" "Got any other ideas?" "Let's go for it."
Without warning, Rainbow dash broke off from Twilight and pounced right at Pozzy, grabbing him under the arms and flying high into the sky, carrying him over to the edge of Cloudsdale before letting him go. He tried to quack in protest, but the speed he was moving didn't let him get even the smallest vocalization out.
As he was dropped, he hovered in the air to glare at Rainbow for a moment before disappearing into the abyss, free-falling into Ponyville.
He was waving his arms about wildly, trying to flap his wings as best he could, not sure what he hoped to accomplish. He watched with a glowering fear as the lined fields of Sweet Apple Acres rushed up at him and Cloudsdale went from a booming metropolis to a little dot in the sky.
"HEEEEELP!" he tried to yell, but the wind stopped his voice in his beak.
Just then, he saw Rainbow Dash beside him, her snout aimed down and her wings folded back. To him, it almost looked like she was hovering beside him, but he knew she was in a steep dive. He tried to call out to her, but once again felt the wind trap his voice in his beak.
Rainbow dash stared at him for a little while longer before shrugging her shoulders and aligning herself underneath him, catching the Platypus and carring him back up to Cloudsdale. "Well I guess that didn't work."
Pozzy held onto her neck as he shivered in fear, his beak clattering. He didn't say a word on the trip back to Cloudsdale.
"You know, you have wings, why didn't you fly?"
"I just got them, Dash, I don't know how to fly yet."
*******************************************************************************
After Pozzy had been reluctantly taken back to Cloudsdale, Twilight had thanked Rainbow for her services and decided to take the platypus to his next potential solution: Sweet Apple Acres.
"You know, Twilight, you could have just asked." Pozzy quacked as he rubbed his belly, still alternating clenching and pushing to prepare himself for when he laid that gloriously massive egg.
"Well I couldn't really. If I told you what Rainbow Dash was going to do, then it wouldn't have scared you, and therefore the egg couldn't be scared out of you." She turned from the now-grumpy platypus and knocked her hoof on Applejack's front door.
A few seconds later, Pozzy heard a gentle clopping inside before Applejack swung open the top half of the door. "Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres, where...oh, it's you Twahlight. What can I help you with." She looked at Pozzy and tipped her hat to him before looking back at Twilight.
"Well, earlier today, Pinkie and I decided to play a game of-"
"The short version, sugarcube." Applejack interjected with a chuckle.
"This here platypus got a dragon egg in him and I need to get it out, I was wondering if you could help him lay it, or birth it, or something!"
"What's a platypus?"
Pozzy raised a paw to speak, but Twilight stopped him. "Grrr, it's a weird mammal thing with a duck bill and a funny tail that's not local to Equestria, can you help or not?"
"Oh, I reckon I can certainly try. I've helped all sorts of cows and sheep give birth to their litters, and their young ain;t no bigger than that egg...though he does look smaller than any cow I've seen."
"Good, let's see what you can do."
****************************************************************************
A few minutes later, the two pony mares and Pozzy found themselves in the barn in front of the stables where the cows usually slept at night.
"Come on in sugarcube, I'll help you out." Applejack said as she opened a door to one of the stalls.
Pozzy, not wanting to protest, happily walked in. He was still pushing and tensing intermittently up to that point, but wanted to stop so he could let Applejack work her magic. The bottom of the stall was lined with hay and there was a big blanket in the middle and a stack of towels to the side. "You sure you can help me?" He went to roll over on his side, front paws wrapped around his belly to press his flesh against the orb inside.
"Oh, darlin', you gotta stand for this." Applejack corrected him. "I've always helped my cows when they stand, I don't know how to do it that way."
Unconvinced but obedient, Pozzy slowly got back to his feet and tied to raise his tail, but was finding his muscles were weak from all the tensing he'd been doing that day.
"Twahlight, could you handle this for me?" Applejack asked as she used one hoof to hold Pozzy's tail up. A second later, the platypus could fee a force tugging on his tail, keeping it hovering over his back; it was twilight using her magic to keep it there. "Thanks sugarcube."
Without wasting time, Applejack reached over to a bucket of what looked like water and placed her hooves in it, sloshing them about to get herself all wet. Pozzy could see this wasn't a water bucket, the fluid was much to thick to be water; it was thick and gooey and slick and it clung to Applejack's fur. Didn't take much to realize this was a birthing agent.
Applejack, with her front hooves now covered in thick, slimy goo, started to hum a gently tune to Pozzy. No words, just a gentle hum as she pressed her slimy hooves against Pozzy's rump, spreading the goo all over his cheeks and the tender hole that the egg was trying its best to poke its way out of. "Come on there, darlin, don't be afraid to push." She urged in between her gentle humming.
Pozzy did as he was told, taking in a deep breath before pushing down on his hind end. He could feel the egg slipping a few inches out, the pointed tip looking Applejack in the eye. With the help of the birthing agent, he could feel the egg slipping about inside, shifting in a circle as well as outward. After a while, he had to stop and let out long quack as he exhaled.
"No problem darlin, yer doin good." Applejack cooed as she patted his rump.
He wanted to slap his tail down contentedly, but Twilight still had it magically held up over his body. He took in another deep breath and tried again, but the egg just didn't want to come out!
"Hold on a second sugarcube, let me try something, maybe this'll work." Applejack suggested as she reached back for more of the lubricant. "I just need you to relax. Sometimes this works when the calves get stuck." She reached back up with her hooves covered in the lubricant to press on Pozzy's hole. She felt both her hooves slip in under his tail, pushing the egg back into him.
Pozzy tensed up as he enjoyed the sensations, closing his eyes and letting out a long, drawn out quack, his tensed muscles almost pushing Applejack's hooves out.
"Hold on there, you can't be doin' that if you want my help gettin' that thing outta you." She warned, then leaned back into Pozzy's rump, her hooves wrapped around the egg. She got a grip on either side of it and proceeded to spin it around inside the platypus.
Pozzy did his best to keep himself under control, but couldn't help releasing a reverberating quack as he shuddered in delight. He could feel the relatively pointed tip of the egg pressing against his insides as it was spun around, leaving the blunt end of the egg pressing against Applejack's hooves.
"Okay, try that." The auburn mare suggested as she pulled her hooves out of the platypus's rump.
Pozzy, using the sensations of the egg inside and the added lube that had been spread around inside him, clenched down with all his might to try to push that egg out, but he found it moved even less. The thinner end actually poked out, but the rounded, more blunt end barely even exposed itself to the cool spring air.
"Well, I tried what I know, sorry Twi." Applejack apologized.
Pozzy let out a quack of defeat as the egg slowly slipped back into him, his tender and tired rump closing back up around the end of the egg.
"Just gimme a second here, an' I'll fix that there egg again; gotta make sure the thin end comes out first or you'll hurt yourself." She dipped her hooves back in the bucket of birthing agent before pressing them against Pozzy's rump, grabbing a hold of the egg and spinning it around again inside him.
"Quaaaaaaaaaaack!" Pozzy moaned.
Twilight and Applejack shared a confused glance. They weren't sure if the platypus's quack was one of pain, defeat, or pleasure.
**************************************************************************
"Okay, I've got one last idea, if she can't help you, I'm just gonna have to keep trying my magic." Twilight said as they walked up to a wonderfully ornate tree that was surrounded with gardens. Even the windows had little gardens in them! "Fluttershy's good with all the creatures of the forest, I'm sure she can help you."
"Fluttershy?" Pozzy squeaked. It wasn't much of a quack at all. "Are you sure she can help when even Applejack couldn't?" He tried to cross his legs, his tender hole was still leaking lubricant from his time in Applejack's barn, and now every step he took made the egg shift about inside him, tickling at his flesh.
"Oh sure, she deals with this kind of thing all the time." She knocked at the door with her hoof a second time. "Fluttershy, are you home?"
"Coming!" Pozzy heard a gently voice call out from inside. A few seconds later, the door opened to show a gentle cream colored pegasus with a ponk mane. "How can I help you..." She started, then saw Pozzy and lowered her gaze. "...and your friend?" she whispered.
Twilight kept her head high. "I need your help, Fluttershy. Earlier today, Pinkie Pie and myself were trying to play a game of-"
"Oh my, what's wrong with him?" Fluttershy interrupted. Sensing she'd offended Twilight, she apologized. "I mean, finish your story, but then please tell me what happened to your friend here."
"I was trying' to tell you that, Fluttershy." She grumbled. "But anyway, the short version is that a spell of mine misfired and I accidentally put a dragon egg in my friend here, he's a-"
"He's a platypus!" Fluttershy interrupted, suddenly full of energy. "A platypus is a marine mammal with the beak of a duck and all sorts of features from different woodland critters! Oh my, I didn't think I'd ever see one in Equestria!" She fluttered off the ground and grabbed one of Pozzy's paws to shake it. "Come on in, I'll make us some tea."
The three of them all went into Fluttershy's home, where Twilight explained how he tried to pass it but couldn't, and no amount of magic, scare tactics, or farmyard expertise could help get that egg out of the little platypus.
"Oh, that shouldn't be a problem, Twilight." Fluttershy said. "I've had to deal with Kiwis birds, compared to their size, the eggs they lay are almost three times the size of what your platypus friend has to pass, relatively speaking." She raised her hooves to indicate how big the egg would be if it was the same size relative to a kiwi egg.
"You sure that's the same? Kiwis have completely different biology than platypuses...platypi...whatever."
Pozzy leaned back on his tail and cradled his gravid belly. "You don't know about Platypi biology, you didn't even know what we were until this morning when you zapped me with your egg spell!"
Twilight glared at Pozzy but didn't say another word.
Fluttershy stepped in between them, breaking the tension. "Oh that's okay, the tricks are the same, I'm sure I can help. Just give me a few minutes to prepare."
***********************************************************************
Fluttershy had set up a stack of blankets, sheets, and towels in the middle of her floor for Pozzy to lay on. He was on his back, with his tail flopping happily on the mass of fabrics, his paws laying on his gravid, distended belly.
"Now what I want you to do is take in some very slow, deep breaths." Fluttershy instructed as she looked into Pozzy's eyes, her front hooves placed on either side of his tail, ready for the egg. Pozzy didn't expect her to be okay with this, as she seemed so timid, but according to Twilight, Fluttershy dealt with all sorts of woodland critters at all times of the day, even when they were giving birth.
"Is this good?" Pozzy asked as he leaned his head back, taking in one deep breath after another, letting out a gentle quack as he exhaled each time. He kept his paws on his upper belly to rub at the massive egg inside him. In a way he didn't want to let it go, he kinda wanted to keep it inside, but his train left in an hour and would likely leave without him if he didn't hurry up, and Twilight wouldn't let him leave while the egg was still inside him.
She placed her forehooves on either side of Pozzy's hole and began to sing to him. "Please be calm, my platypus friend, for soon this hardship will be at an end. Breath in heavy, exhale slowly, Soon this will be a memory."
Pozzy felt relaxed, and as he took in yet another deep breath, he felt his muscles contract powerfully, his hole widening to let a few inches of the egg's pointed tip poke out. His legs tensed up and he gritted his beak, a strained quack escaping either side of it.
"Good, good!" Fluttershy encouraged. "A few more pushes and this will come right out!"
Pozzy's breathing quickened as he felt the streams of goo trailing off the end of the egg and around the rim of his rump, landing with a splat on his tail. He felt Fluttershy's hooves pressing against either side of his rump. He looked down to see how it was coming, but all he saw were the pegasus mare's giant, gentle eyes looking at him. She had a tender smile across her face as her hooves kept massaging at Pozzy's rump.
"You're doing so good." She cooed, "Give me another push!"
Pozzy took in another deep breath and clenched his entire body down. He could feel his flesh press down against the egg inside him, and he gave it a bit of help by using his paws to push as well. He could feel his rump stretching open to let more of the egg out, and before long, he felt like he didn't have to push anymore. The egg was nestled perfectly in his hind end so that he couldn't quite push it out yet, but it was no longer forcing itself back inside. The thickest part was just inside him, and his hole was gaped wide open to let it through. "Quaaaaack!" He moaned, twisting his head from side to side as his stretched hole just didn't wanna quit.
"Soooo cloooose dear." Fluttershy cooed again. She pressed her hooves down on either side of Pozzy's rump, pushing the flesh back to expose more of the egg.
Pozzy continued to push until he felt the egg slip out, the last bit of the rounded edge being pushed out as the platypus's stretched hole closed up.
"You did id!" Fluttershy cried out as she jumped in the air, her wings fluttering and keeping her hovering over top the Platypus.
"Quaaack! I did, didn't I?" Pozzy marveled as he tried to sit up, but his muscles were positively spent on pushing that egg out. On the bright side, at least his body was properly proportioned again. He tried again, and this time rolled over onto the egg, wrapping his arms around it and hugging it. His hole was still sore and gaping, trails of birthing agent oozing out onto his tail, but he didn't care! This was his egg!
It was a truly beautiful egg, mostly cream colored with purple splotches and what looked like purple veins covering it; all colorations, of course, not texture. If it was texture, he'd have noticed while it was pressing out against his flesh. "Can I keep it?" Pozzy asked excitedly.
Twilight and Fluttershy glanced at each other before breaking out in laughter.
"It's your egg, of course you can, dear!" Fluttershy told him in her gently voice, still hovering in the air.
"Under one condition." Twilight added.
"And what's that?" Pozzy asked, still hugging the egg and rocking back and forth on his tail.
"You have to write a letter to princess Celestia about what we've learned today."
"Deal!"

Pozzy just got back to the train station as they were about to leave, giant egg in a saddlebag that Applejack had given him. He boarded the train and was sure to wave to Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle as the whistle blew and he was off to Canterlot for the next leg of his journey.
Thinking up a letter to Princess Celestia wasn't hard for him at all:
_Dear Princess Celestia
Today I learned that sometimes it's easy to get mad at someone for not knowing something or messing up, but the best way to deal with it isn't to get frustrated, but to look to the future and find a way to make everything better. Even mistakes can lead to great things and you should look at everything in your life as an opportunity. _
