Red Savarin panted as he clashed his sword against Evans own as he lectured him and returned the favor. Currently they were sparring and he was learning as they practiced together on a large abandoned floating island.

However the rewards were that his skills have been slowly increased until he can give lady Opera a bit of a run for her money.

Evan started panting as well after yet another clash before asking "okay that's enough, how has your cqc been?"

Red panted before planting his sword on his back and asked "cqc?"

Evan blushed saying "sorry it's called close quarter combat, it's what the militaries learn to defend themselves."

Red merely answered "it's actually gotten better with some real lessons and training that you have given. I feel like I could take on the world!" as he smiled brightly making Evan squint his golden hazel eyes.

Red merely shuffled his feet saying "I know, I've done some stupid challenges like defeating three mechs in under 3 minutes, or defeating three enemies in under 1 in the castle arena. Chocolat was pretty steamed with me for a while because of it."

They both laughed as Red rolled his bone in his mouth slightly. Evan asked him "you know, something is bugging me, how come you always have that bone in your mouth?"

Red removed said bone and explained "it's a stress relief kind of thing but other then that it looks cool."

Evan chuckled before adding "I know that feeling, I sometimes use a cigar as a stress relief to but I don't use them all the time. It's not good for you to smoke at all unless it's for medical purposes."

Red shook his head, he was always interested in learning about things has hasn't heard of before as long as it wasn't boring. He asked him "tell me what exactly causes the most pain to your perspective?"

Evan slowly placed his muramasa back into the sheath and closed his eyes. He opened them and added "its not money, or power, its ones actions and well hatred. Hatred can cause people even the most innocent to turn into a monster. It gets pretty bad however when said hatred leads to insanity..."

He rubbed his right gauntlet nervously making Red gaze at the odd green device watching the small tube circulate his blood with an odd blue fluid. He has never seen that before and asked "what is that?"

Evan flinched and explained "it's a cleanser, I have to have it on all day except when I go to bed. It flushes my blood with anti-psychotics or a drug to keep you mentally stable. I'm not all sane either and I do have a rather twisted sense of humor. By that I like causing pain and yet I am sickened by it. Before I became an adult I had three solid years of hatred, rage, resentment, bitterness, pain and sorrow locked inside my mind and I couldn't find an outlet to let it all out."

He finished as he sighed feeling depressed making Red scowl saying "so what? Because of all of those emotions you might have turned into a dark person. But a person who likes causing grief and destruction you are not, you got over it and pushed onwards and became a far better person who just wants to help without any bull getting in your way."

Evans mood went back to normal as he smiled kindly and added "thank you, it matters a lot to me. I got over my hatred and rage, but there still like a candle. I focus my rather darker nature into something else a vigilante, my boss allows to be one because when our hands get tied I act alone and never leave any trails back to the Enforcers. However I'm not all innocent as my entire fur and hands are soaked with blood after all."

Red snorted saying "I find it cool and yet unsettling just a bit but that's all. It's just your eyes seem so lifeless when you fight seriously."

Evan eyed him and explained "if I showed emotion I would have a glass grow grin or a maniacal smile on my face because of the sheer joy I feel. Being a berserker is not a nice thing if you get enraged or pissed. Red shuffled his feet and asked "you know that sort of makes my problems seem little."

Evan frowned as he walked over and knelt down on one knee to gently cup a hand under his chin. Red gently raised his head as he gazed into his beautiful golden hazel eyes before he gently chided. "Red don't admonish yourself your own problems were pretty severe. Come here..."

Red walked over and was embraced in a hug as Evan raised him so he can rest his head on his right shoulder. He sighed in bliss as he nuzzled him saying "I love feeling your fur, actually feeling it. I hope I can grow soon, it is an annoyance to know that I can't grow as though I was the same height all those years ago."

Evan crossed his legs as he floated in mid-air channeling ki onto his feet and explained "true, but your getting much faster on your feet as your growth has increased. You're about 5 foot 3 right now due to the nutrition and vitamin packets I have been placing in your food to help get your body to what a normal 17 year old should be."

Red growled as he muttered "growth problems I would never have thought of that."

Evan frowned and added "project hybrid might have been a good idea but it also was a problem. They couldn't grow in strength, height, and other details, for an ex hybrid I would have to say you might grow with everyone else but the trance might have done something more unique. They might be nanomachines but there also different as though they could be transmitted by touch if you cut yourself and touch someone with it. Evan merely shrugged his shoulders before responding "well the other things are to study or talk about history with Elh and Baluga. As it turns out Elh and Baluga talked about what there culture was like before Lares nearly destroyed them all. Talking about Lares however made Evan gaze at Red a bit seeing his lips curl upwards in a snarl as he replied "are you still that steamed about Lares and Bruno?"

Red snorted saying "Bruno oh Bruno I absolutely hated that guy! Evan gently smiled as he pulled him in for a one armed hug before lightly lifting his hat and gave him a kiss on the forehead. Red raised his head as he replied "now, now don't be like that and apologize to your sister."

She smiled kindly before replying "you have him on a very long leash don't you?"

Evan merely frowned saying "I don't have anybody on leashes because my words can cut solid steel and they do hurt. On the other hand that is only when I get angry or frustrated with someone and that hasn't happened so far."

Red shook his head slowly "that is pretty messed up, like CODA was."

Red blushed as he removed it saying "well yeah, the blade is for close quarters fighting but it can be used as a sword for emergencies."

Evan sighed shaking his head before smiling as he gazed at the goggles on his brown colored hat. He merely watched him sigh as he muttered "I feel so bored that I am willing to learn about other things."

Evan smiled as he materialized some math books and his oceanology book before asking "well then I do have some geometry books and an oceanology book from my teacher that I had last year mister Wilcox. If you're willing to learn what the old earth's oceans is like and the effects nature and man had then you can read it. If you're feeling bored enough then you can write down the questions and do the answers."

Red widened his eyes before taking the oceanology book as the others crowded around it making him smile brightly and shake his head. Just having an oceanology book here was a goldmine of ancient information despite knowing that it won't be equally the same back home. For now he heard their whispers and awe as they chatted with other other and pointed at the pictures.

Later he was fixing dinner yet again being a large plates of spaghetti mixed with white sauce. Red watched him cook and asked "do you want your book back? By the way it was awesome and how did you learn to cook so well?"

Evan blushed as he answered "my wife taught me the basics with her careful instruction, tell me do you really like Elh?"

Red blushed before answering "well I uh, I can't exactly describe my feelings for her it's so much. However being married and all I don't I can. You see I'm a famous hero and hunter in the Shepherd republic and well I don't want my fame to get in the way."

Elh heard him and blushed before giggling softly as she replied "aw thanks Red, tell me what do you think of your marriage?"

Evan smiled softly and showed them the obsidian and diamond studded ring on his ringer finger. Evan frowned and answered "my metabolism might burn a lot of calories but if I don't eat enough it won't be healthy. Ironically after eating a two hours or half an hour later I feel hungry again!"

He sat at the table while laughing sheepishly making Red shake his head at such a bizarre truth.

During dinner Red would sneak a look at his father figure while hiding his growing blush. He just had to it wasn't his looks or his apparent strength but it was actually because of his love like a parent would actually do. For a very long time he and Chocolat didn't have a parents leaving an empty void. After Taratos and Baion it simply made things worse feeling anger and bitterness.

Evan sighed and answered "oh that, it does so what I do honestly is try not to be like that. I can hold it back and be nice and polite but my dark personality clashes with it. I hate being ruthless and angry but sometimes I just feel like it when thinking of my daughters past."

His feelings drained away as he gave him a solemn look and added "I have faults a lot of faults being how cruel I can be with my words because I don't regret who I hurt who deserves such a thrashing, but on the other side I am very gentle actually. I guess you can say that I am more of a grey orientation as I would rather be happy and gentle then being this."

Red shook his head and smiled sadly before asking "really?"

Evan nodded as added "yes but now I'm just a bitter man. I've been hurt unknowingly from my parents because of being a high functioning autistic. It's a mental disorder where I can do well in other subjects or have trouble in others."

Red decided to change the conservation "so tell me what do you think of Elh?"

To get our home when you crossover just look around the area and fences, you should be able to see the largest house, not to mention it's where we like to fight if we really want to unwind."

Red chuckled before giving him a kiss as he did the same and added "I simply don't want you to go, silly me I'm just a tad jealous Caninu."

Evan gently shook his head before scratching under Reds chin with a hand as he added "no your not, your just desperate for parents affection. No matter what happens I will always love you Red with all my heart."

As he kissed his soulmate before releasing him as he wrapped his arms around his daughters and wife's waist before walking through the rift. Red sighed before Evan looked over his shoulder and added "Red you are more than welcome to sleep over with us but first..."

He materialized a red rose and used his psionics to guide it to him as he plucked it out of the air. Evan chuckled saying "that's a small gift to you. If you and your friends ever need some company just crossover alright Red? Stand down Commandos and thank you for escorting my family."

The commandos chuckled their voice synthesizers hiding there actual voice as one replied "it's alright. You have gotten us back on our toes and our jobs back. By the way Krystal is stopping by soon alone."

Evan nodded as they left while chatting and Red blushed as smiled brightly his tail wagging feeling him give a deep mental kiss on his mind and watched him give a soft wink.

Red blushed as he slowly wrapped his tail around his waist partially as he held the rose tightly before sighing in bliss hiding his heart shaped eyes.

Elh smirked as she giggled out "Red has a boyfriend Red has a boyfriend!"

She jumped and ran around in circles as Red chased after her while saying "why you! Come back here so I can kiss you!"

Elh looked over her shoulders saying "oh no the big bad kisser what am I to do?" she teased him making him blush harder as everybody else laughed together.

As Evan looked over his shoulder and watched them he chuckled softly as he released his grip. Sheana looked over her shoulder and giggled seeing the caninu chase after the Feliniku before before tackled by her and was tickled. She giggled watching this and whispered "Dear do you really love Red?"

Evan smiled as he embraced his daughter and felt her soft dark fur. He had missed feeling her fur and answered "I absolutely do, however I in no shape and form attempted to seduce him. I might have spoke a ffew suggestions as a slight tease but that's it. It's up to Red who he wants to love not me and my decisions."

He spoke firmly as he watched the commandos leave as his friends looked through the doorway and Zume asked him "how tight was he?"
