A Dog's Love
First chapter, a little short~ ^^
I rushed out of the crowded classroom, my tail between my legs as tears streamed down my already red cheeks, holding my bag tight. I wanted to be out of this school as quickly as possible, I'd had enough of those stupid boys.
They kept calling me stupid, the girly one with the floppy ears who likes boys, it made me sick and I wanted to get away from it. As I rushed through the halls absent mindedly with my only focus on making it home I felt a great force against my shoulder, forcing me forward onto the floor with a bit of force.
"O-Ouch" I muttered, getting up and grabbing my bag, that luckily didn't suffer from the fall.
I rubbed my butt shyly, slowly turning around as I got back up on my feet, my tail swishing back between my legs at the sight before me.
"Are you okay?" a tough yet gentle voice spoke out to me as he took my hand, making sure I was upright.
"Oh, yeah I'm fine, just fumbled over a little" I replied, a flush on my cheek as I tried to make the still noticeable tears go away.
I looked up, noticing a boy had helped me up, his face a light grey with black spots running down his neck, his doggy like ears decorated with cutesy black spots. His array of facial features culminated in a pair of stylish glasses, not the nerdy kind but the sort you see people wearing on television adverts. I snapped out of my daydream, managing to utter a few words after a short bout of embarrassment, "i-its okay, t-thank for helping me up".
I looked away once again with a flushed face, noticing him glaring suspiciously at me and before I knew it he had his fingers on my chin, pulling it up gently until my eyes met with his.
"It look like you've been crying, definitely sure you're okay?" he asked me with a determined sense of doubt, still looking longingly into my eyes.
I looked up at him, noticing his cute blue eyes looking at me as I replied, "I don't wanna talk about it". I pouted, flustered as I pulled away.
I picked up my bag and clutched it tightly before beginning to walk away, putting the boy behind me due to my nervous disposition. But before I could relax I felt a hand suddenly in mine, holding it tightly and pulling it back.
"I'm not leaving you until I know you're okay, besides, I'm too nice a guy to let someone as cute as you be upset when I know I can do something about it" He stated confidently, my blush brighter than ever as I turned around, giving him the first glimpse of my smile.
"Okay, but can I have your name first?"
"Its Akita" he replied, smiling down at me as he let go of my hand.
"N-Nice to m-meet you, my name is Kona" I uttered, my blush receding.
"Cute, lets get going" he smiled once again before moving forward, expecting me to follow.
"Well, this'll be fun" I thought to myself, following him intently, my tail now swaying happily, no longer hindered between my legs.
