02 The Day After
#2 of Day After Day
Here's part two in the story. I'm working on names but this one seemed to fit. If you haven't read part one i'd encourage you to do so. its called Damon's Bad Day. Again i'll say if you don't like this kind of stuff find a different website. I'm not forcing you to read this. There's also underage drinking in the story which I DO NOT CONDONE. If you still want to read, then go ahead, just remember to let me know if you liked it.
Damon woke up feeling groggy and sore. He rubbed his left shoulder and felt a gauze pad where Alice had bit him. Just the memory would've served to tent his sheets but it was already morning. He reached down to scratch his chest and stopped when it really scratched him. It hadn't been a dream. He still had claws. He reached up and felt his ears. His room was pitch-black even in the middle of the day, but he could still see, in his mind's eye, exactly what he looked like. He stood at six feet tall with a medium built that was slowly building into quite a sizeable physique. He was covered from head to paw in velvety black fur that was darker than the blackness he was surrounded by. His hands and feet, his paws, were dark grey that blended nearly perfectly into the black. From his throat to the inside of his thighs was the same dark grey coloring that some people would easily mistake for black. He still had red hair but it seemed to be longer than normal and he still had his goatee. He stood up and turned his head in the direction of the lamp on the bedside table. His eyes caught on the mirror behind it, glowing with an eerie bluish light. He looked around the room again and realized that he could actually see most of the stuff. Yesterday morning, he would've had to turn on the light to see his hands in front of his face. Now he could see almost everything in the room in decent clarity. Looking around, his eyes caught on another object in the room. He had always been above-average in length, but apparently the transformation had added something to his tool. The transformation had also changed the shape. It was pointed with a bulb at the base. It also extended out of a sheath above his balls. He had been too confused about his new form yesterday to even consider the other changes besides the fur. His curiosity had taken over even before he had a chance to beat down his morning wood. He watched curiously as his dick retreated into the warm confines of his sheath. He grabbed a pair of jeans and a shirt off the floor and pulled them on. He just barely remembered to turn on the light and make sure he was wearing his human skin underneath the clothes. Being human wasn't hard; it just took a little concentration. He walked downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal. He checked out the house but there was no sign of parents or sibling so he shucked his human disguise and went downstairs to the weight-room. Damon's step-dad was a fitness freak and so they had lots of equipment sitting in their basement. He tested out some of the equipment and sure enough, he was a lot faster and a little bit stronger in every single exercise. He felt awesome, that it until he heard the door open back upstairs. He quickly assumed his disguise and headed back upstairs. 'Hey, mom. Where have you been?' 'Your little brother had a concert today.' Damon's little brother was Jake. Jake was an odd child. Actually, Damon was the only one that thought him a strange child. Everyone else just figured he was a normal middle-school student, which he was. 'Mom, is it okay if I go hang out with some people today?' 'Where are you going?' 'We'll probably just go hang out at the mall, maybe catch a movie.' 'Who all is going?' 'Me, Dave, Alice, Shelly, maybe Katie.' 'Okay, just take your cell phone with you.' 'I will,' as soon as I find it... Damon ran up to his room and called Alice. 'Hello. Is Alice there?' 'Hello?' 'Yeah, Alice. What happened to the stuff that was in my pockets?' 'Oh right, I completely forgot about that stuff. It should be right there in that little room area.' 'Okay good,' Damon heaved a sigh of relief. There wouldn't be any need to explain why he needed yet another new cell phone. 'I don't suppose you're up for hanging out today. Maybe explaining a little better what happened yesterday.' 'I'd love to. Maybe finish what we were doing at school?' The bluntness of the question caused Damon to lose his train of thought for a moment. 'Yeah, sure, when do you want me to pick you up?' 'In about an hour.' 'I've gotta run out to the clearing and get my stuff before I can leave.' 'You should be fine. You should be a lot faster now than you were.' 'Okay I'll be there.' He walked back downstairs after grabbing a pair of socks and a knapsack to carry some of his stuff in. He stuffed a notebook, his sketchbook, his CD player, and some various pencils in case he got some extra time. They would also hide his shoes. 'How long are you planning on being gone for?' His mom was still in the kitchen as he was leaving. She apparently thought he was going camping. 'It's my sketchbook and CDs and stuff. I wanted to show Dave some of my new sketches.' 'Okay. Have fun. Try to be home by dinner this time. And don't hurt your shoulder again!' Damon had explained that his shoulder was the reason that he was late. He had been walking in the woods with Alice and Dave and had hurt it. His mom had been skeptical but accepted it with confirmation from both Alice and Dave. Dave had really wanted to know what had happened and Damon promised to tell him later. As soon as his house was out of sight, Damon parked his car in a fairly hidden area in one of those random driveways to nothing that are along the road every so-often. He let go of his human disguise and removed his clothes. He started jogging towards his spot. After a minute or so he dropped to all fours, marveling at both the speed and the ease with which he was traveling. He reached his spot in twenty minutes and grabbed his stuff. Fortunately it hadn't rained last night and his stuff had all survived. He was however presented with a problem. He had no pockets in which to store his dry possessions. He was forced to run back to his car on two legs which took a lot longer and a lot more energy. He found that Alice had called while he was grabbing his stuff. She had left a message about a party that evening that would probably be more fun than the mall. She said it was only for 'people like us,' so he drove back home and informed his mom of the change in plans. 'Who all will be going to this party?' 'I don't know. Alice is the one with the information.' 'Okay. You need to call her and find out where it is, who's going, and how late it goes till. Then I'll let you know if you can go.' The party was gonna go till early the next morning so Damon told his mom he would be home by midnight. There were a lot of people going, but Damon only recognized a few names. He hoped that his mom wouldn't remember that some of the names were of people he hated. He said that the party was at one of the guy's house. In reality it was in a warehouse downtown. He headed up to his room to pick out stuff to wear. He didn't care what other people thought of how he looked, but he did care about the way he thought he looked. He picked out a pair of dark blue jeans and hooked a chain onto the leg where it was supposed to go. He pulled a black sleeveless shirt with a dragon and a surfboard on the front and dropped it on his bed with the pants. He also found his belt and a blue-black necklace in the shape of a shark's tooth that his mother had bought for him. Every once-in-a-while she managed to pick up something really cool. He glanced at the clock and jumped when he saw that it was already 2:30 in the afternoon. He had really slept in today. He rubbed his shoulder again and wondered when it would be functioning normally again. Alice had wanted him to pick her up at six. Damon got on his computer and started talking online. Around five, Dave got on and was pestering him about the bite in his shoulder. He was also questioning why he ended up bringing him an extra set of clothes while he was an hour out in the middle of the woods wearing a blue thong. At five fifteen, Damon got off without telling him anything, saying that he had to get ready for a church function. He made a mental note to talk to Alice about how they were supposed to explain that to Dave. He walked downstairs and made a sandwich. He grabbed some chips and a glass of milk and sat down and read his book while he ate. The book was one he had randomly found around the house a few days ago. It was about werewolves. Damon grinned as he read, wondering if these legends were based off of whatever he was now. Once he finished his food, he grabbed his clothes and headed into the shower. He turned on the water and let it heat up. He let his guise slip and became a wolf again. He drew the shades on the window and locked the door. He stepped into the shower and started thoroughly wetting his fur. As he washed up he thought of Alice. Wondering about how long she had been a wolf and all the other stuff associated with his transformation yesterday. Unconsciously he began to undress her in his mind, his hand slipping down to grope his male-hood. His thoughts spiraled slowly and inexorably downward as he continued to pump his member. He started rubbing his chest with his other hand but eventually switched to rubbing his balls. Just as he finished with his fantasy, the clock buzzed, saying that it was quarter till and he needed to go pick up Alice. He shook himself off before opening the curtain and grabbing his towel. In five minutes he was dressed and ready to go. He had to step on it to get to her house by six, but he was rewarded with a kiss once she was in the car. They drove out of her allotment towards the city, with Alice giving the directions. They reached the party locale at around 6:45. As they entered they were greeted by a bouncer. He was huge. Damon was a good six feet but this guy overtopped him by nearly half a foot. He was also about three times as wide as Damon was. 'I need to see some ID.' Alice looked behind to the door and all around the room. Seeing that the coast was clear, she transformed. Damon had never really watched anyone transform before. Her skin lightened and fur seemed to sprout from her whole body. Her legs melted into her wolf-legs. Her ears slid up and melded into their pointed shape while her mouth and nose moved forward to match. All-in-all it only took a few seconds. She grinned at the bouncer and then again at Damon. Damon shrugged and let go of his human façade as well. Once he was finished, the bouncer transformed as well. He was a wolf, but an extremely large one and colored grey. 'You guys can go in.' He said it with a grin and then changed back to a human. Alice and Damon walked through a second door and into the largest part of the warehouse. Damon stopped and stared. 'There are tons of different animals here...' 'Yeah. You didn't think that everyone was a wolf did you?' 'Actually, after the bouncer, I kind of did.' 'Oh no. There is a furry for almost every animal you can think of.' 'A furry?' 'That's what we call ourselves. Sometimes you'll get called a werewolf but just ignore it. The people that say it usually just hate wolves.' They moved over to a bar area to grab something to drink before jumping headlong into the excitement. There was a punch that was spiked, water that was spiked, lemonade that was spiked, and beer. Damon detested beer so he went for the water. He felt the heat when he swallowed some. He tried the punch and the lemonade and felt the same warmth each time he drank some. 'Is there anything to drink here that isn't laced with alcohol?' 'Probably not.' Alice smiled apologetically.' All of a sudden, a deep voice yelled at them, 'Alice! How've ya been?' "Oh...hi Roger.' She didn't look overly pleased to see the large bear. He was bigger than the bouncer but with a little less muscle, not too much less though. Damon could smell the alcohol on his breath. 'I was wunderin if you'd show up t'night.' 'Yeah. I don't ever miss a party.' 'Wanna go dance?' 'Sorry I'm here with Damon.' 'Damon?' The bear's focus shifted to nothing trying to recall someone of the name Damon. 'Oh! Why the hell are you here with that little sum'bitch?' 'Excuse me,' interrupted Damon, 'did you just call me a son of a bitch? Because if you did, I might have to hurt you. I don't like being insulted.' The bear backed up a few feet and drew himself up to his full height. 'If you want it, come and get it.' 'Damon, he's a lot stronger than you are. You'll get yourself killed!' 'No I won't. Trust me.' Damon sauntered over and looked the bear straight in the eyes. His own gleamed dangerously. The bear threw his voice over Damon's head to Alice, 'as soon as I finish this punk, you and me are gonna enjoy a little time together.' 'So you're not actually planning on spending any time with her then?' 'I plan on fucking her once you're lying on the ground out cold.' 'Good luck with that, cuz it won't happen.' 'Why you little...' With surprising speed the bear's right paw shot out and grabbed Damon by the throat and hoisted him up off the ground. 'You shouldn't go messin' with people bigger than you. You should remember that in the future.' It was difficult for Damon to talk with the bear's paw cutting of the air to his lungs, but he managed. 'You might want to put me down or I'm gonna break your left arm.' The bear shrugged with his left shoulder, his hand moving freely, letting his right arm take the entire weight of Damon's body. 'How the hell are you gonna do that?' Damon kicked him in the stomach without any effect other than having the bear thrust him out as far as his arm could reach. Damon released his left hand from the bear's forearm. 'It'll work something like...this!' Damon swung his left hand forward straight into the bear's elbow. The crack was just audible above the music. Damon dropped to the ground lightly. Dropping his voice to resemble the drunken bear, 'You shouldn't go messing with people smarter than you.' The bear leapt forward in a blind rage, trying to hit the wolf with his left arm, the one that wasn't broken. The wolf stepped off to the side and grabbed the bears left wrist with both arms. He spun as hard as he could and used the bears own momentum to throw him off into the wall beside the bar. The bear hit the wall hard and slumped down onto the floor. 'That guy bothers me something fierce.' A small crowd had gathered to watch expecting the bear to claim another victim and another prize. Damon looked at everyone around him with cold eyes and they all drifted back to the music. Alice was holding a shocked smile on her face. 'You have got to show me some of those moves sometime.' 'You don't seem particularly surprised that fights like this happen.' 'That's because there's usually three or four every night. Some people think that its because we're part animals. Animals always choose the strongest to be the alpha male. You beat Roger but he'll probably try two or three more times before he gives up. You might want to make sure you're ready for him.' 'I will be.' It seemed to be true. All of the other furries around him were eyeing him with calculation apparent in their gazes. 'Care to dance?' 'I'd love to.' They danced until the party was over. Damon didn't even care if he got grounded. Today had been a good day.
