My life with blaziken chapter 19
________________________________________________________
-this episode picks up where the previous one left off. There is no time lapse.
-no way to know what could happen now that axel is in the picture. He might have been possessed with the haunter for a long time, or, maybe it was recent and he was really a criminal. Who knows...
-this chapter references crucifixes and jesus. Multiple times. If those things are against your beliefs, I apologize. I try to refrain from making religious references to avoid offending people. There will be much less of that kin future chapters

As I exited the old house, I realized something. I didn't know how to get home from here.
"How do we get home?" Becky asked. She had a strange habit of always saying what I'm thinking.
"Take the trail" axel pointed, half awake, to a trail that I don't remember seeing before.
"If he says go that way, I'm going the opposite direction." Becky huffed, still very angry that I hadn't killed axel yet. I didn't plan on killing him at all, but lets not tell Becky that quite yet.
"If you through that river... the carvanha will eat you." Axel yawned. He had a point, and I told Becky that. After having a shoe thrown at me, I started towards the trail. Becky shouted at me not to trust axel, and that I should go a different way. but its in my nature to trust people, no matter who they are, and after finding out axel had been possessed, I wasn't sure he had actually committed those crimes at all.
After what seemed like an hour of walking with axel on my back, I had to stop and rest. I was reluctant to stop, axel still had that wound on his back, and if it didn't get healed, it could become infected. There was only one thing I could think of, and it was something I had given up on years ago.
I grabbed my crucifix that I had just recently put back on, and I placed I over top of the wound. I reached into my pocket and grabbed a small vial that I carried with me at all times. Holy water. I don say this very often, but I used to be a priest. I poured the holy water on the gash, and then dumped the rest of it onto the crucifix.
"Innocens est quispiam hoc nescio sceleris, sed omnibus debetur venia. in nomine Domini Salvatoris nostri hunc, oro, salutem." I chanted in Latin, which is considered a holy language. the gash steamed, and with a scream of pain, Axel's wound began to heal. I sat still for a moment, waiting for his wound to heal completely.
After a while I put back on my crucifix, picked axel back up, and continued walking. Then I began thinking about where Becky was. Maybe she had tried to cross that river? I shook the thought from my head, Becky wasn't that stupid.
"Where are you taking me" axel asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. I wasn't sure when he had woken up, but I'm glad he did. I set him down and we kept walking.
"I'm taking you to my house. You'll be able to rest there for a while" I told him. He stopped asking and just stared at me.
"Why would you do that for me, back there, when you healed me. After what I put you through..." He asked. I could hear the regret in his voice, it was faint, he tried to hide it, but he wasn't doing very well.
"You weren't responsible for that, and that means there's nothing I can hold against you" I smiled. He seemed taken back by that, like he was expecting me to hate him. Most people would, but I try to find the best in others. We kept walking for half an hour or maybe more, hard to tell when the sun doesn't pierce the canopy of trees. Then I heard a rustling in the bushes ahead of us. I motiond for him to stay put, and snuck closer.
"Not what I expected" I whispered to myself, because in front of me was a male Stantler. I knew it was male, I'm sure you know how. It had a female persian pinned to the ground.
"Ler" the stantler growled, and then it started raping that persian. The big cat pokemon didn't seem to mind, it actually seemed to like it. The stantler (which I had named Larry) shoved its cock inside the Persian (who I had named Sean) , not even caring about the cats feelings. Sean squirmed around, but she definitely wasn't putting up a fight, kinda like she wanted it... I didn't have time to ponder that before axel walked up behind me.
"Not what I expected" he whispered.
"That's what I said" I told him, still whispering. Larry slowed down some, causing Sean to growl. Larry bleated in return, a kind of noise that said "I'm in control here". I took a class studying deer a while back, so don't question me. Sean nipped Larry on the neck. Apparently animals were into that too.
Me and axel would have been content to watch the spectacle, but at just that moment, Becky showed up.
"The fuck is this" she said very loudly, scaring the hell out of not only both me and axel, but also Larry and Sean. Those two bolted, and me and axel just stood there.
"What is wrong with you Patrick. You should be taking him to jail" she said pointing at axel.
"And you should be in chains and a straight jacket." She continued, still pointing at him. Then, after staring at axel for a moment, she asked
"How did your wound disappear"
"I fixed him up, otherwise it could have become infected." I said to her.
"First, why do you even care about him? Second, after what he did to you, how are you not at his throat?" Me and axel burst out laughing at that. We aren't gay, but that's still funny.
"What are you lau... Oh god dammit" she said, but then she laughed too.
"I still hate you" she shouted at axel. I still didn't know why she hated him, but it probably had something to do with him having been a criminal. We walked for awhile, Becky constantly berating and insulting axel. I tried to stay out of it, I didn't want to make her angry, but every word made axel look sadder.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" I shouted, stopping them in their tracks.
"I don't know why you hate him, and I don't care. I trust him, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand by while you insult him like this" I said, barely containing myself. Becky looked at me with a look of betrayal, and shock at my siding with him.
"Patrick... You have no idea what he's done to me. You can't even imagine what I've gone through, every day of my life, all because of him" she half said, half cried.
"I don't know what he did to you, but he's changed. He's a good person, and he's... My friend" I said. Becky was disgusted, but axel looked at me with tears in his eyes.
"Patrick... She's right. What I've done is unforgivable, and she has every right to hate me." He sighed. He still regretted the things that haunter made him do. He wanted to be forgiven, but he didn't think that he was worthy of forgiveness.
"Axel, you didn't do those things, the haunter did."
"It doesn't matter, I can't be forgiven" he almost sobbed.
"That's not true. Everyone is worthy of forgiveness. Even if they have done terrible things, The Lord forgives." I told him. And then I gave him my crucifix from around my neck.
"My dad gave me this when I was young. It's always reminded me that, even with all the things I've done in my life, I'm still loved." He started crying then. Someone had shown him kindness. Something he clearly hadn't known in a long time. Becky's jaw hit the ground. Both at my being kind to him, and at him showing any trace of humanity.
After that, we walked in silence. Axel was constantly looking at the new necklace. Thirty minutes later we reached the house. I showed axel around, while Becky sulked into the bedroom. We reached blaziken and helios's room and I opened the door. They took one look at axel and started throwing fireballs. I slammed the door, luckily I had fireproofed that room for just such an event.
"They don't like me either" axel muttered. I told him that they just needed to get to know him. When I opened the door to the nursery, Becky rushed in and stood inbetween us and the crib.
"Oh hell no!" She shouted. Somehow I should have expected this would happen.
"Ok axel. We've crossed a line, and it is my professional opinion that we should... RUN LIKE HELL!!!" I shouted. We ran as fast as we could down the street, dodging a storm of shoes and laughing all the way. After hiding in an old warehouse that I had inherited (and used to store various things) I said to him.
"Something tells me that you and I, are gonna be great friends."

-Becky is still pissed off (but I'm sure you didn't know that)
-I'm sorry that the Stantler and Persian scene was very (very) short. But i was doing a terrible job of it. But it was an idea from KateTheMarten. I assure you that I will give it another shot later on, so I'll try to redeem my failure.
