Lexius mimes the characters with bad voice acting, making Summer giggle and nod as they walk through the throngs of other furs going through the mall, passing by all the different shops along, Summer dragging him over to some of the shops, with him following.

"Ooooh, a Borders!" Lexius chuckles when the head into the book store, the two splitting up for a few minutes as Lexius heads off towards the sci-fi section, flipping through all the books from the different authors before he gravitates towards books written within some of the games he enjoys. After picking out a couple, he starts to look around the store for Summer before finding her with her nose in a book giving it a quick look through.

"Found something you like?" Lexius says softly into Summer's ear, making her jump slightly and gently smack him in the chest with a playful scowl on her muzzle.

"Don't do that, haven't you been told not to sneak up on ladies?" She scolds him with a grin on her muzzle, before he leans in and kisses her lips with a smile.

"Sorry beautiful, so what did you get? He asks, looking down at the book and seeing the cover of a buff shirtless tiger, with flowing golden locks of hair, holding a raven haired wolf woman close to his body, Lexius then looks up to Summer with a questioning look.

"What? The past couple days have gotten me back in the mood for some romance novels." She places a claw on her hip and cocking it while looking at the Batroo.

"Just as long as you don't hold me to some of the stuff they do in there." He puffs out his chest and tries to get the deepest voice can. "I'm only a simple Batroo." He gives her the best come hither eyes, making her giggle, and hit him in the chest with the book to nock some of the wind out of him.

"I can tell the difference between fiction and reality, I'm sure you've read books like this and just fantasied about that. I know I'm not like the girls in here, and you're not like the guys, but...." She gives a sly grin to him and turning around to head to the counter. Rolling his eyes, Lexius follows suit towards the counter, getting up to it right after her and placing his books down with hers.

"My treat for the day Summer, no need for you to get your money out." He pulls out his wallet and pays for the books and takes her arm in his once more as they head out into the main mall once more.

"Food court or do you want to go to a more formal restaurant in town?" He asks as they reach a map of the mall and look over it for a minute, while Summer decides.

"Let's go to the food court, less dealing with afternoon traffic with some decent food as well." Summer interlocks her claws with his fingers as they walk off towards the nearest escalator, finding their way through the crowd as they reach the food court and look over the different selections.

"Now it's time for the hardest choice of the day, what to eat?" He chuckles, looking to Summer who's looking away at the different stands for food. Smiling wide, Summer tugs on Lexius' arm dragging him over towards one of the Italian food stands as she giggles.

"I know it's not true Italian, but I haven't had any kind of Italian food in a long while." She gets them into the line while looking to Lexius for objections.

"Sounds good to me, I haven't had Italian food in a while myself." Their wait in line was a pretty fast one, reaching the counter, and looking over the choices for food.

"I'll take the lasagna platter, and what about you Summer?" Lexius says to her, as he gets out his wallet.

"Ooooo I'll take the spaghetti and meatballs, with a side of garlic bread." The cashier nods and rings up the meal, with Lexius handing him the money, and the two move off to the side.

"I'll wait for the food, why don't you have a seat, and I'll bring it out to us." Summer nods and gives him a peck on the cheek before letting his hand go and heads off towards the seating area, Lexius watching her go with a soft sigh of contentment. It takes a few more minutes before his number is called, and he comes up showing his receipt, and picking up the two trays carefully taking them out into the seating area, looking around before he spots Summer with her drink at a two top table.

"Food is ready M'lady." He sets her tray down first and then sets his own down.

"I'll be right back, need to get my own drink." Smiling he heads back to the stand, and fills his cup up with a soda, before coming back and sitting across from Summer.

"Bon appetite! Summer says holding up her drink which Lexius bumps gentle with his before they start to eat their food. The two making small talk in between mouthfuls of the delicious food, discussing the movie, and other things that happened in the past couple days before they finish up.

"Whoa, look at the time it goes by way to fast when you're having fun with hot girls." Lexius teases, winking to Summer, making her blush as they pick up their trash and head back out towards the parking lot, getting back into the car and pulling out of the parking lot. The drive back to Summer's house was quick and uneventfully, just the two happily listening to the radio as they pull up to her house. Getting out, Lexius escorts her back to the front porch, Summer turning to him and smiles.

"I had a wonderful time Lexius, this past weekend been the best I've had in fourteen years...." Lexius catches a slight tear welling up in her eyes which he brushes away with a smile on his muzzle.

"I'm glad it was that way, I wouldn't want it any other way." Leaning in a soft kiss plants his lips to hers as they share the soft touch in the setting sunlight, before breaking away and the sad look in Summer's eyes replaced with a joyful happy one.

"How about next weekend, we do something again, hmmm?" He asks giving her claws a squeeze while looking into her eyes the smile on his muzzle never leaving.

"Ok, that sounds like a great plan to me, same time next Friday?" She asks pulling him closer and hugging him tightly, not wanting to let him go.

"Same time, stay beautiful Summer." With one last kiss to her lips, they break the hug and part ways , Lexius walking backwards down the porch before tripping over his own tail and tumbling into the grass. Summer gives a gasp of fright before Lexius jumps up, blushing himself and dusting the grass off his clothes.

"I meant to do that, see you next Friday." He coughs, Summer giggling and waving to him as he gets into his car and drives off, the Sloth putting her claws up on her chest and sighing as she leans against her door.
