Reaper: Hades - Winston Boswin
#15 of Reaper:Hades
Character Bio for Winston, everyone's (least)favourite pig.
I originally wanted Winston to be a straight up bad guy but as the story developed, I decided to make him more of a puppet and a little bit of a tragic character just to add more dimensions to him.
Will post up the next chapter soon!
Character Bio: Winston Boswin
"Squeal for me, piggy."
Background: Winston was born into the Boswin Family during a stable period in Pollenburn history. His father, Arthur Boswin, had taken leaps and bounds to ensure that the Boswin name was everywhere in Pollenburn, effectively securing all the agriculture on the eastern half of the city and several other farms in the other smaller cities of Taranebra. This developed a somewhat complacent attitude in Winston who was content to live out his days in the luxury that he was afforded.
He married his wife, Martha, when he was twenty-five and had his children shortly after. Though he may have seemed lazy, he was nevertheless a shrewd businessman and maintained the Boswin fortune despite dozens of competitors attempting to seize upon his apparent complacency. He executed his own hostile takeovers over the years leading up to his wife's death.
That first tragedy gravely shook Winston to the core and his mourning came with worse news as competitors pounced on the sudden dip in Boswin stock. When his daughter's fiancé died in a car accident, Boswin's attitude became far more aggressive. What ground he lost to his competitors were regained tenfold until he had the controlling majority of all farming and agriculture in Taranebra.
When and where he learned the _Dietrich_technique is still up for debate but it is clear that he had tasted victory and his ambition grew as a result.
Why he would ally with someone like Khan Sho is still up for debate.
Primary Class:
Paladin - A support class that sports admirable defences and healing capabilities and only moderate offensive abilities.
"Leeeeeeroy Jeeeenkins!"
Secondary Class:
Spec-Ops - Subterfuge, deception and assassination are this class' speciality with an emphasis on firearms and as little close quarters combat as possible.
"Spectre was taken."
Marksman - A class entirely focused on ranged offense with very little physical defences and close ranged combat abilities. Deadly at a range.
"I have you in my sights"
Equipment:
Prosperous Rain - "This isn't want I meant when I said 'golden shower'."
A Seal Weapon taken the shape of a double barrelled shotgun. Winston is rarely seen in combat and has never been seen using his Seal Weapon but according to records, the bullets are generated on the fly and are potentially infinite. They are also appear to be made of gold but are actually coated with a highly corrosive substance that has been known to eat away at a full grown man's innards within seconds. A single pellet from this shotgun is a death sentence.
Signature Move:
Salt the Earth - "Nothing will grow here ever again."
Winston fires several shots into the air straight upwards. The pellets then rain down all around him in a wide area under his control. Highly inaccurate but covers a very wide area.
Scatter Shell -"Here's dust in your eye!"
Several pillars of rock appear around Winston, a total of six at most according to records, and he then proceeds to shoot them with Prosperous Rain, shattering the pillars. He sends both his pellets and rock shards at foes in various directions.
Golden Geyser - "You've hit gold!"
Winston shoves _Prosperous Rain_into the ground and fires straight downward. The pellets multiply and then erupt from underneath the target in a geyser like formation, bringing with it the debris that it cut through.
You're Fired - "Consider this your notice of termination."
A brutal and humiliating execution move from Winston. He summons a slab of rock from behind his foe that then clamps down on their limbs. Winston fires at them from a range. If that does not kill them, a second slab of rock then slowly closes on the foe, eventually crushing them to death.
