This was a little gift story for AceWolfy1996 http://www.furaffinity.net/user/acewolfy1996/

The larger husky lets out a rather loud growly yawn. Huzante, Huza as he was known stretches his limbs with a soft sigh. Sitting up in his bed for a moment longer, standing and wandering off for a cup of coffee. Stumbling through the darken hallway paw bats around across the wall in search for the light switch with light echoing taps.

By the time Huza had found the switch and gave it a flick with his finger he'd find no light. Grumbling, the large male flicked it a few more times each met with a similar click and lack of illuminating light. "Damn it all." The husky would grumble quietly and continue to stumble around in the dark. Taking his phone out from his side pocket, grumbles realizing it was only 3:30AM. "Bah, why did I wake up so early?" The husky thought aloud, handpaw scrubbing over his brow as he grunted trying to wipe sleep from his eyes. Though, something twanged in the back of his mind.

Taking the hint, the husky made his way to the kitchen, noticing the oven and microwave displays both off and gave a pull to the ceiling fan's light switch. "Power must be out..." The larger male says with a huff, that little twang in the back of his mind, something in him telling him to check on his pet...

The husky cursing under his breath, his cellphone would choose then of all times to die while he made his way through the pitch black rooms. Stumbling around, paws to the wall and falls with a loud crashing THUD. "Ugh, damned carpets." He grumbles having tripped over the loose runner that ran through the long hall way. But while on the floor his ears picking up the soft whining cries of his pet, the shifting he made in his bed. Something telling the husky to go...

The pet in question, Ace was staying over that night, crashing in Huzante's spare guest room. Whining softly in, tossing and turning around beneath those sheets, softly calling out to friends, family, for his master. Cute little muffled cries from the sleeping wolf echo out throughout those dead halls.

In his little dream, Ace finding himself trapped. In a never ending white room, there appeared to be walls but anytime he ran towards one they would just move further and further away. "M-master? Hello, Anyone there!" The pup would yell loudly in his head, but his sleeping form only letting out soft barking whines as he squirmed.

Reaching up over his head, Ace tried reaching out. Trying to grab hold of someone anything. Looking up into the air above him the room suddenly turned pitch black surrounding him in a nightmarish darkness. A loud whine pierced the darkened halls, reaching the large husky's ears as he grumbles and quickly makes his way towards his pet's room. Ace was reaching out above him both in his nightmarish dream and real life, paws in the air, grasping for some imaginary thing that was just not there.

By the time Huza had made it through the dark halls he saw the pup reaching out. A soft sigh escaping his muzzle, glad that the little male was ok, he had thought the worst. Walking over to the small wolf with a gentle smile and leans over, placing a very soft kiss onto the male's brow. Pressing his chest down against the small male's chest, wrapping both arms tightly around him and lets the wolf's outstretched arms fall, gripping onto the husky's form tightly.

In his dream, Ace would sit there, crying alone in the darkness before a brilliant white light shines blindingly from up above. Up above him, a large set of furred arms, radiating a dazzling warm light shines, piercing the veil of darkness of that nightmarish world. All around him images, astral images of all his friends, loved ones and family shine destroying, shattering the shroud of darkness. Those large arms reaching down and wrap tightly around the wolf, holding them in their warm protective embrace.

For some it might be strange, to other it might be intimate. For Huzante it was out of caring. Wrapping the small wolf tightly in his arms he carefully opened his mouth, gently easing the small male upwards in his arms and places the wolf's chin on his tongue, gently easing his jaws up and over and gently took him down into his throat. A small swallow and his neck would bulge with the pup's head. Another and the husky's jaws spread around those shoulders, quickly taking them down working to tuck Ace away, safe from his nightmares, safe from the world.

For Ace, the seemingly nightmarish world had vanished. That warm loving embrace was all that he felt, all that he would feel. A familiar sound, a soothing thumping, bassey rumbles, and that tight embrace would ease the poor wolf back into a nice soothing deep sleep. No longer trapped in his nightmare...

Huzante's jaws gentle eased the wolf inwards, a warm smile on his muzzle hearing his pet's soft snores ending those frightful whining whimpers. The large husky's large heart thrumming washed the male in that soothing beat. A few more soft swallows, a gentle pull of his arms would slowly tuck the wolf inwards. The husky's large body, heat, and caressing flesh all holding the little male tightly. A few more swallows, a loud 'glrk' from the Huza's gullet as he'd feel those footpaws smoothly glide down his gullet and join the little wolf curling up tightly in his distended belly.

The soft jostle of that fleshy hold around him would awaken Ace. Those moments of wiping sleep from his eyes. His mind in panic, he couldn't see darkness enveloped him. The poor male letting out a soft whine thinking he was once more trapped in that hellish nightmare. The wolf's little heart pounding as he reached around, trying to find his way out of the darkness. But something was odd. Reaching out his paw would press against a soft sticky wrinkled surface. The little male couldn't help but let a blush redden his cheeks. "Thank you masters." Is all he would say before curling up tight, laying his head against those warm walls, falling into a deep calm slumber.

Huza's muzzle curled into a soft smile. Hand paws reaching out, wrapping around that rounded domed out gut and gave it a firm squeezing hug, a soft smooch before letting it fall still on his lap once more. Hearing the gentle breathing, soft calm snores reverberating out from the small male. The large husky would tenderly let his handpaw stroke across his stomach, soothing the wolf in his sleep. "Sleep well pup." He'd say lying out in that bed and relaxed, tugging the covers up over his form and fell right back to sleep. The loud beep of the microwave coming on as the house came back to life, the power apparently having been restored finally. Lights, heaters and fans all roaring back to life, fill the house with light, piercing the darkness. A warm yellow glow shining thorough the blinds, basking the husky in its radiant glow signally the start of a very bright new day.
