Dan woke up; he looked around to remember for a year this dank sewer had become his home along with Tiffany. After that we'll start pulling everyone else out who was arrested." Tiff nodded, "Ok." That night they slept on the wood. It was a little hard but they managed.

In the morning Dan stretched out and sat up. He looked over and said, "Tiff, wake up, we should set up as soon as possible." Tiff woke up and sat she asked, "How we get things." Dan sighed, "We have no choice. We'll have to steal in order to survive." Tiff looked down and sighed, "I can't believe this. I used to be a respected school president and now I'm pulled all the way down to being a thief." Dan shook his head, "We don't have a choice." They went outside Dan led the way he saw a single creature leave his house. Dan rushed Tiff inside and they went into the cabinets taking any food first but they made sure not to take everything. They got two beds and carried them over. They would check the dumpster of the next house. Dan took a television that was topped barely falling off the can. The moved it into the house and Dan plugged it in. The first thing he checked was the situation of the town. There was a news crew set up outside the town. One of the creatures held a microphone close so a solider. The reporter asked, "Has the situation in this town be cleared." The solider said, "There is still resistance here. We have started to build walls to push the resistance to smaller areas." Dan shook his head, "I can't believe it, after a year and the resistance it still fighting in the town." Tiff said, "If those soldiers finish those walls they'll be stuck." Dan pondered placing his hand on his chin and starching for a moment, "Maybe but maybe we can use it to our advantage. We could block ourselves off from those who are different from us." Tiff backed off a bit, "That's crazy." Dan sighed, "We have to face it Tiff, creatures like us we'll never be accepted by the majority." Tiff said, "The answer isn't to cut ourselves off from them. We have to show them that some of us changed and that it's ok." Dan said, "They won't stop trying to gun us down. If we even show our faces they'll shoot us. I don't know if there are any simple solutions anymore. Tiff I used to believe my whole life would be simple but ever since I had sex things changed. Neither of us are the same. Do your self and lower the gun, and I'll consider not calling the cops." Dan cocked the gun and aimed the gun low and shot the croc in the leg. He aimed it back at the cashier and he yelled, "I mean it! I'll shot you and I'll take them myself if I have to." The owner saw the croc suffering on the floor then got a back and put various guns and ammo inside. Dan said, "The katana, that too!" He took out the katana and gave it to Dan. Dan started to walk back to the town. The owner went over to the croc and asked, "You ok man?" The croc slid up against the wall, "I can't believe such a cute kid did this?" The owner backed up, "What? Your one of those pedophile freaks. Get out of my store." The owner rolled the croc outside. Dan continued closer to his town. He went into an empty building that was outside and made his way to the roof. He took out a sniper rifle and found the ammo for it. He took a vantage point. He looked into the scope he shifted the gun finding one of the soldiers. He took aim and fired. He found another and fired again. After killing two of them a solider had heard the shots he got on his radio, "Were being attacked by a sniper, enemy position is unknown. Increase the guard and also contact our leader." Dan saw the men moving in closer together. He fired again. The men started shooting in his general direction. Some of them got in the tanks.

Dan got ready to move as the shots got closer. He left the sniper on the roof and took the bag as he rushed down the stairs. He noticed the building next to him. He stepped up to a ledge and jumping into the class of the next house. He was in a rest room. A voice asked, "What was that?" Dan took out a handgun and loaded it quickly as the door opened he raised the gun. The bird went inside Dan pointed it and whispered, "Don't think about shouting out or I'll shoot." The blue bird rose up his hands and panicked, "Please boy, don't do any thing rash." Dan said, "Simmer down bird; I'm part of the town that's under siege by the military. I don't care if that means you hate me or not, but I wanted to take out those damn soldiers for invading my home and trying to kill everyone I've come to care for. Now were going downstairs and your going to get anyone else to cooperate with me." The bird slowly took him down. His wife and two kids were with him. They freaked out when Dan came out with a gun. Dan said, "Don't worry as long as everyone remains calm I won't do anything. I grip isn't with you, it's with those damn soldiers. I'm going to kill every single last one of them."

Their leader came in. The fox said, "Start building the wall now. Were done waiting for permission from the president. Send out half the men into the city. It appears some of the bad creatures if moved into the city. So we have no choice, we must put this entire state under quarantine." The solider got on the radio and spoke, "Were pulling out and extending our forces. We need every man to put this country under quarantine." Dan sat down and sighed, "I'm sorry if I've panicked you." The bird sat down very slowly, "I don't honestly understand this. Why are those soldiers trying to take out the town?" Dan grew a bit upset but explained, "They want to take out creatures that are different. Any creature that expressed being gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual were the first to be outcast then after that it was pedophiles and then those who were identified asexual. It would seem the only right sex is heterosexual for them. It's crazy...I finally accepted myself as a bisexual and then this happens." The bird said, "This is over creature's sexuality. That does sound a bit crazy. I know that some creatures would be uncomfortable with those things but killing everyone who's different." Dan asked, "Are you uncomfortable with me." The bird gawked back and admitted, "Well you holding that gun surely does." Dan looked down, "Sorry, I can't just lower it yet." The television switched channels on it the fox in charge. He said, "We have recently discovered that some diseased creatures have been spreading out around the city. Under my order this entire state will now be put under quarantine. No one is to exit or enter. Anyone who tries will be shot...anyone!" Dan stood up, "No! They can't do this. I have to warn Tiff. I have to go." Dan rushed outside, Dan ran across the city. He went inside and saw Tiff. He said, "This entire country has become a danger zone."
