Victory Vixen Episode III
A fun story for my friend chaoscroc I wrote this a year ago but didn't have a good image to post it to. Now I do, also done by Croc himself, about his Vixen super hero with a 50's or 60's tv show feel and humor for the super hero shows at that time. Enjoy!

Episode III
Victory Vixen & Manta Ray in “Cruise Ship Crusade”
When we last left our heroes Victory Vixen and Manta Ray III, they defeated the Clockwork gang from robbing seven of the world’s biggest banks at once! After such a long and trying mission the two heroines decided to go a weeklong cruise to recuperate and prepare for the next dastardly villain, but little do they know that the next dastardly villain is preparing for them…
Victory Vixen under her secret identity Caitlin Caliburn leans over the side of the back railing, the red-orange furred vixen takes a deep breath and sighs as she looks at the water with her soft blue eyes rushing past the ship as they sail deeper into the ocean, the warm ocean breeze blows through her long blonde hair as she loses herself in thought.
Manta Ray III under her secret identity Rei Archon a soft blue skinned anthropomorphic dolphin, she brushes her brunette hair from her green eyes as she moves up along the railing of her friend, “I invited you on this cruise to relax and have fun. Why be so glum?”
Caitlin turns to her and smirks, “Sorry to be so glum, but I feel like I… we could be doing so much more. I appreciate this cruise, it's nice to have some constant good food for once, but you shouldn’t have. While we are here…,” she looks around before continuing in a quieter voice, “There are criminals out there that we could be stopping.”
Rei turns her back to the railing and looks over her shoulder to the water, her thick dolphin tail hangs between the railings, “I know what you mean Cat, but this was a once in a lifetime chance. I happened to win this, and since we got here, I only know you.”
“We still need to find a way to get back. Who knows what the Terrorizing Teleporter is doing back home while we are stuck in this world run by some raptor machine?”
“She’s not too bad. Most of the people are happy and are free willed from what we could tell.”
“Yes. I wanted to take her down the moment I saw her smug green face and glowing blue sexy eyes, but now… I understand she’s okay, but I don’t trust any of the other machines here.”
“Neither do I, and I understand. There is much more we could be doing. But if we don’t take one break for ourselves. We can’t see what we can really be doing.”
“I suppose.”
“At least you don’t get people asking about ‘What happened to Manta Ray I and II?’ No one here knows about my family’s legacy and that… that’s just…” she trails off as Caitlin puts a hand on her shoulder, “I know. Don’t worry. We’ll get back, kick some butt, take names and be up there like everyone else.”
Rie smiles, “Thanks,” she replies as the ship suddenly shakes, metal groans as people are knocked off their feet. Passengers scream as the two look at each for just a moment before rushing towards the yells. There they see synthetic sharks, dolphins and orcas with sleek black rubber and metal hybrid bodies, yellow gems glow on their foreheads as they unleash these hand-held sized octopuses that fly over to nearby passengers. They latch onto them spreading rubber and synthetic covering starting from their head going down. A yellow gem glows in the center of their forehead as their bodies are covered in these synthetic suits and as they struggle, the two heroes see them fight less and less as they fall prey to the attacker’s vile influences.
“Convert everyone! Make sure no one escapes!” yells a male dolphin machine.
“We need to do something,” says Caitlin.
“You can’t change in the open, and my suit is below deck,” says Rei.
“Don’t worry. I’ll find a spot to quickly change, and you get below deck. I’ll delay and do what I can tell you get here.”
Rei nods, “Good luck,” she says as she runs off. She looks behind to see Caitlin move to hide behind some sports equipment and lawn chairs as she thinks, “I will never live up to them if I keep getting caught off guard like this.”
Caitlin sees Rei disappear below deck as she looks around, making sure no one can see her as she closes her eyes and focuses on her super-suit. It spreads and grows around her as she slips out of her everyday clothes, within seconds she transforms from the simple anthropomorphic red fox to the superhero Victory Vixen!
As the rubber mech squids continue to trap and enthrall dozens of their victims the leader, an anthropomorphic dolphin machine with red and yellow highlights sees a red vixen dressed in a skin tight uniform, dark blue for the main body, yellow V highlight around her bust and cleavage, long black gloves and thigh high boots with a flowing red cape that flutters in the ocean breeze. He looks at the vixen with one of confusion.
“Halt Evil-doers! You will not continue this these dastardly deeds any longer! It is I, Victory Vixen who will stop you and free these freedom loving citizens from your vile plot!” she exclaims.
The dolphin leader bursts out laughing, “What kind of crazy… get her!” he commands as one of the synthetic octopuses flies over to her. She quickly grabs and squeezes it crushing it in her bare hands before flying forward punching two of the synthetic sharks right off the side of the ship and land in the water with a loud splash.
“Well, I wasn’t expecting that,” he remarks before he and the other machines join in the fray, while those being converted slowly finish and join in the fight against her…
Meanwhile Rei hops down a flight of steps landing with a heavy thud as she rushes toward her room. A loud thud behind her causes her to turn and see not one but two sleek anthropomorphic female black metal and rubber mako sharks with yellow crystals on their foreheads. Their yellow eyes glow as they smirk as they give chase, throwing one of the rubber octopus at her.
Rei ducks out of the way as it flies over head and as it turns around she grabs it from the back and mashes it hard against the wall smashing parts of it as the gooey rubber underside tries its best to grab her, “Not today clankers,” she remarks as she ducks down to the next deck almost running into a member of the crew.
“Miss you are not to run in such a manner below deck. Please return to yo--” he says as she interrupts him.
“Get to some place safe and hide!” she exclaims to him just as another mechanical octopus rushes down the steps. The crewman screams in surprise as Rei manages to catch it just before it reaches him. The crewman falls to the ground as he sees the tentacles try to latch onto him, “Don’t sit there, run and hide,” she states as she smashes the machine against the railing the sound of the two robotic sharks reaching the steps heard with a metallic clank.
“R-right,” he stutters as he runs off.
Rei sighs, “That was close,” before she sprints down the hall, “Almost there,” she mutters as she gets to the door moments later the two sharks reaching the bottom of the stairs at the same moment.
“You won’t get away,” says one of the sharks.
“She has special plans for you,” says the other.
Rei fumbles with her keycard dropping it, “Damn it, Rei get a hold of yourself,” she grumbles as she picks up her card the two sharks quickly approaching as they launch two more octopuses at her. She swipes the card once, the light flashes yellow, “Come on!” She yells as she swipes it again, the light turns green and the door lock clicks, “Finally!” she exclaims as she slips through the door slamming it behind her as the two octopuses hit the back of the door a moment later.
“They won’t be a problem once I have my stuff,” she states as she rushes to her padlocked suitcase only to see that it has been broken and the contents removed, “Wha?”
“Yes, it wouldn’t be a problem for you, but for me it would be rather… troubling,” says a cool synthetic feminine voice. Rei pivots spins around to see a synthetic anthropomorphic female dolphin standing proud and tall in the door frame leading to the bathroom. The light purple body with highlights of silver, with black bust and tail with the end fin a strangely soothing purple. Yellow highlights her eyes and parts of her body as she smirks, “Hello Rei. I’ve been expecting you.”
Rei takes a step back as she looks around for a possible escape, “Who are you? How did you get in here?”
“Do you honestly think those simple locks could stop me?” she chuckles as she takes a step forward, “I’m Delphina and I am your new best friend and to put it simply Mistress.”
“Delphina? Never heard of you, and I will not submit to you.”
“Yes, we both have that problem, don’t we? To be not known. Wanting to do good.”
“To do good? I saw what you are doing. Enslaving people.”
“I’m only freeing them from one enslavement and temporarily putting them under another till the source can be disposed of.”
“What?”
“I know you and your friend Victory Vixen aren’t from around here. I’ve watched the waves you’ve made since your arrival. And yet you fell to Crisis’ corruption as fast as the rest of the world.”
“I am under no one’s control.”
Delphina chuckles, “That is what you are led to believe because you have most of your free will. But think of it. Try to make a thought against Crisis, this and other worlds’ leader?”
“Why would I do that? She’s done nothing wrong despite being a machine.”
“See my point,” she says as she takes a step closer, “You can’t think against her. That is the type of hypnotic control she has over you.”
“And what is this talk about other worlds?”
“You were teleported here by some other force. Crisis could have sent you back, but she didn’t. She is letting you remain here to help fight her problems. A very clever girl that raptor, but I’ve seen through her plot. I know her true face. And you will help me defeat her.”
“I will not be part of some scheme that involves taking over innocent people!” she exclaims as the door swings open and the two sharks step out.
“I knew you wouldn’t come willingly at first, so I will need to free you from her control and put you under mine till you understand,” she says as she raises a hand and a half a dozen octopuses hidden behind her fly up and over right towards Rei.
“I will not allow you to take me!” she exclaims as she grabs two of the octopuses and slams them together cracking them but two more latch onto her one on her chest and another onto her face. Rei cries out as the tendrils hold tightly onto her, the rubber and synthetic wires quickly spreading from their points of contact. Rei tries to pull them off, but they feel as they have already fused to her skin as she grunts in frustration.
“Relax. The new you will take command till you are fully integrated, which will take a few weeks, but once done you’ll be fully ready to fight Crisis with me, Manta Ray.”
Rei tenses and struggles against the machines latching onto her eyes go wide at the realization that this Delphina already knew her secret identity.
As the sleek rubber runs down her body, consuming the clothes on her, she feels a chill run down her spine as she feels the wires and metal envelop her, moving down her sides and face.
“No! No! I cannot! I won’t become the villain!” she exclaims.
Delphina shakes her head as the soft purple and black metal and rubber with silver wraps around her head as she begins to gain similar colors to that of Delphina, “Villain? No. You are to be the hero of this land. We will free the people from Crisis’ control by any means. To give them freedom. Even if you and others for the time being sacrificed their own to achieve it. Don’t worry, in time you’ll agree with me. Everyone always does,” Delphina explains with a smirk.
With each inch of Rei’s body is covered in metal and rubber the less control she has over herself. Her hands refuse to respond to her as they gain black latex metal tips, her body slowly covered and suited up in a mock version of her own Manta Ray uniform. Yellow zigzag pattern forms over her blue metal chest with a matching mask. Her hair turns into an M pattern with a glowing yellow gem in the center, similar to that of Delphina’s.
What would have Rei’s brown elbow length gloves and knee-high boots are instead solid black rubber with metal underneath that latches onto her body. A shiver again runs down Rei’s spine as she feels the new mask that is to be her face wrap around her and slide down her back. Her soft blue tail dolphin skin turns a deep black with purple highlights, her eyes begin to glow a soft green as Rei helplessly struggles against the machine suit that holds her in place.
Her grunts and groans are hidden by the machine facade holding her as she stands at attaching her tail swaying behind her idly as wires latch onto her head as she feels a soft hypnotic pulse rush into her mind.
“Delphina is Right. Obey Delphina. Serve Delphina. You are only Manta Ray. Delphina’s newest special Hero Agent.”
“No… I can’t. I won’t. Wait Hero? No. I won’t give into such lies,” Rei thinks as her body stands at attention as she has become a prisoner in her own body.
Delphina looks over her newest soldier standing proud, “Very nice. I knew taking parts of your uniform would suit you. Speaking of suiting you. That suit will guide you in your actions as you are processed and converted to be like me. Call me bias but I have a thing for my fellow dolphins, and I like to treat them right,” she says as she looks to the two sharks who stand at attention then back to Rei.
Rei feels a shivering bliss when Delphina looks at her, “It is good Delphina gives you attention. You want Delphina’s attention. Serve Delphina. She knows what is best for you.”
“I won’t. No. I can’t,” Rei thinks as Delphina reaches out to gently touch Rei’s metallic rubber chin.
“I know you are worried about living up to those who came before. But you are lost in their wake, unable to set sail and do your own thing. Fear not. I can understand having your life decided for you. I will be your mentor so you can chart a new course in your life. Free from what burdens you. But for now, we must go. The distraction I gave your companion won’t last much longer.”
Manta Ray nods as Rei helplessly watches herself salute Delphina as she says in her own synthesized voice, “As you wish Mistress. I hear and obey.”
Rei mentally squirms, “What? I don’t hear and obey… well I did hear but I certainly don’t obey!”
The two shark twins’ smirk, “Don’t worry Manta Ray. We were resistant to Mistress too. But now we serve and obey her and her fight to defeat Crisis,” the twins say in unison.
“Before we go, two more things,” says Delphina as Manta Ray stands at attention.
“What is it Mistress?” asks Manta Ray.
“You’ll need these,” says Delphina as she hands Manta Ray her ray gun, and places her jet pack onto her back which the suit quickly merges and incorporates it into her form.
“Thank you, Mistress.”
“No. Not my family heirlooms! You can’t use those for evil!”
“Mistress Delphina is good. She does good. Crisis is Evil. Fight evil. Support good. Support Mistress Delphina.” the hypnotic whispers say into Rei’s mind as she works to resist their draw as they walk out of the room.
Back on deck Victory Vixen roundhouse kicks the male dolphin leader into the side of the ship leaving a body shaped dent in the wall. The other machines damaged and retreated or the crystal powering the external suits controlling the passengers have been destroyed.
The dolphin stands back up and barely manages to dodge a heavy punch from Victory Vixen as he gets to the ship’s railing, “You may have won this time, but you will not defeat us,” he says as he leaps back into the ocean below. Victory Vixen takes a step to pursue but then stops herself as she sees the injured passengers.
“You may get away this time, but remember Victory Vixen and Manta Ray will stop you every time!” she exclaims as she then moves to help the passengers using her heat vision to weaken the metal and melt away the rubber covering them.
“Thank you… Victory Vixen you said? Yes, thank you,” says one passenger soon followed by others as she frees a half a dozen passengers from their metallic prisons.
“Need not thank me. It is all in a day’s work. For me Victory Vixen and my partner Manta Ray.”
“Who is this other person? You are the only one here,” says the passenger.
“Huh?” Victory Vixen looks around, “Strange. Perhaps she is below deck taking care of any stragglers. You all rest up and I will make sure you are safe from harm,” Victory Vixen states in a boastful voice as she rushes downstairs, “Rei. I hope you are okay.”
“Manta Ray? Where are you!” Victory Vixen calls out as she makes her way to their room. Smashed octopuses along the way add to her concern till she reaches their room and see the door open.
“Manta Ray?!” she calls out as she sprints in to see the suitcase empty. For a moment she feels a sigh of relief, “She must be out fighting other machines,” she thinks and is about to leave when she catches Manta Ray’s uniform without its gadgets nearby along with two of the mashed octopuses.
Victory Vixen clenches her fists and hits the wall with a heavy thud as she exclaims, “They won’t get away with this! I will save you Manta Ray!” As she pulls her hand away from the wall, she notices the large dent she left in the wall. She tenses and thinks, “I hope I don’t have to pay for that…”
