Mystic Heart Odyssey Fanfic: Lykouna
Editor's Note: This is a naughty little fanfic based on Mystic Heart Odyssey by Lloxie. Lykou and Kuna are camping in a cave, somewhere during chapter 2 maybe. Non canon obviously. I had two "spur of the moment short fic" ideas today, and I haven't written in a long time. I decided to use the shorter, sweet one as a sort of epilogue for the longer, hornier one. I uh, hope y'all enjoy. (I got permission to use the thumbnail art of course)
Kuna sat poking the embers of their campfire distractedly. Lykou had gone to lay down a bit earlier, but Kuna had decided to try "cooking" some of his vegetables, curious how they would taste. He was pulled from his cooking daze by a noise in the branches of a nearby tree. "I-is someone there?" The sereva stuttered in spite of himself, before more resolutely standing up and brandishing his staff. He channeled life energy instinctual, his hand beginning to glow green. Then he felt something quell his fear, as if there was a spirit touching his mind. 'Ah, hell...' he muttered. He saw a pair of green eyes appear in the darkness of the branches before the creature hopped down and came over to him, playful mischief in her eyes. He could tell they weren't evil, but he still took a step back. He felt the same flirty energy from her that he did from Sulyr, what felt like ages ago. He stepped another step towards the cave and called for Lykou. "Kou, we have -" his words sounded quiet to his own ears and the intruding spirit covered his mouth before he finished talking. Her fur was soft, not spirit like at all. She smelled like peaches as she leaned close to the sereva's ear and began whispering secrets he hadn't revealed to Lykou yet. About the things he wished they could do. He felt himself becoming increasingly excited in spite of himself, until finally it felt like even the slightest breeze could set him off. "w-w-" he mumbled questioningly into the furred hand over his mouth, but as he was released and tried to look back, the spirit was gone. He stood there nonplussed, wondering if it was all in his head, but the stiff member dripping pre down his leg told him this was very real. Suddenly he jumped at the sound of footsteps.
He looked up and felt his face turn beet red as Lykou stood in the cave entrance, his eyes blearily looking the sereva up and down. Lykou's eyes dwelled longer in a certain spot before he spoke, "we have what? An urgent need?" the konuul grinned, trying to barb his friend playfully but there was no hiding his twitching tail. The two stood in silence for a brief moment that felt like an hour before they both flushed and broke eye contact, now both in dire need of some relief. "Uh heh. so I guess... we both need to take care of ourselves, huh?" Lykou mumbled somewhat awkwardly, surprising himself.
Kuna, for his part, remained as calm as he could, still afraid to move, worried that just that motion would set him off. Still, he mumbled an awkward agreement and hesitantly turned away to make for a bush, but he stopped as the konuul's hand rested on his shoulder.
"No hang on, it's.. dangerous out there. Let's just..." The konuul flushed a bit. "I'll just go to the other side of the cave and take care of myself, you do what you gotta do over there, okay?" He grinned a bit. "And give me a shout if you need he-"
“Lykou!" Kuna blurted out suddenly, finally overwhelmed by the embarrassment. He hadn't noticed quite yet, but some slightly milkier "pre" had started dripping down his leg when Lykou grasped his shoulder. The konuul flushed when he noticed but decided not to say anything.
"Sorry, sorry I couldn't help it." He grinned, really though. I'll be here." He gestured awkwardly to the cave.
Finally the two went back to the cave, awkwardly mumbling to each-other before sitting facing away from each-other to take care of their "issues."
Lykou was getting close pretty quick, but suddenly he heard something that pushed him over the edge. On the other side of the cave he heard a few sweet groans, and faintly, clearly trying to be quiet, a timid voice moaning out his name.

The sun was barely started to peek over the horizon as Kuna began to stir. He felt truly at peace in Lykou's warm embrace, though he turned beet red remembering the previous night. Still, he fidgeted a little to try and get closer to Lykou, before laying his head on the konuul's chest. They lay like that for a bit, Lykou snoring gently away, and Kuna started to feel himself slipping back into a peaceful slumber. He laid his head on the konuul's chest and slowly drifted off, the sounds of morning birds outside their shelter, and moreso, the sound of his best friend's gentle snoring and peaceful heartbeat slowly coaxed him to sleep, a dopey flushed grin on his face.
