Woven Mind
Took longer than I expected! I enjoyed working on this and pumped some new stuff here and there. Hopefully it turned out well, or at the very least readable haha. Might have gone overboard in places.
Woven Mind
Two kobolds, both garbed in cloaks of night black and wearing light furs, stood near the entrance of a howling mineshaft, cobweb and splintered wood coating the opening. Roda and Aro had come seeking treasure that was supposedly hidden deep within the winding tunnels and caverns of the mine, according to Aro at least. Roda stood by, arms crossed, thick, black scaled tail lashing at the ground as she looked over the entrance up and down impatiently with narrowed violet eyes, suspicion coloring her features. It looked dangerous to her and life threatening dungeon crawling wasn't her favorite past time, however, Aro had been promising her that this would be the final treasure hunt through a dark hole likely full of death, and that the supposed hoard within was large enough to keep them fed for a year or so. Roda had a bit of trouble believing her lover and partner in crime when it came to dangerous adventures, but she couldn't really let him go by himself and even now she found herself rolling her eyes as Aro tried desperately to cut away the cobwebs covering the entrance with his sword. Aro had always been great at making plans and haggling, but his fieldwork always left something to be desired and catastrophe followed him with or without her presence. Roda moved to push aside her blue scaled partner and with a simple swipe of her dagger she tore open a slit to place her fingers in, wrenching open the webbing with a satisfying rip. Stealing from a giant spider's nest wasn't exactly the greatest idea, abandoned gem mine or not, but at the very least she would have her partner by her side if they died.
As Aro passed by her he spoke in a quiet dismissive tone, "Stop frowning so much, you should be happy, we'll be in and out in no time with no trouble at all." Punctuating his statement was the sound of multiple skittering legs echoing from deep within the cave along with an ear splitting screech. Aro cleared his throat and turned to begin walking into the mineshaft as if he heard nothing. Roda followed and deciding that a pensive frown was the correct expression, her fingers held tight on the hilt of her dagger. The tunnel itself was devoid of life, a long stretch of black with rails leading further within. They took to following the rails, occasionally freezing in place as they heard a giant spider here or there, but never within sight. Roda shivered, the air almost unnaturally cold and damp as they continued along their path. She made note of the fact that besides the occasional sound of legs upon stone, the tunnel was silent. Not even the air made a breath.
As they tread deeper into the tunnel they hit an open expanse of rocky cavern, walls coated in glinting ore and gems that glowed a dull and eerie green that had Roda curious as to what sort they were, they certainly didn't look natural. Turned over mine carts and rails laid here and there, most covered in web. Even able to see in the darkness, they almost found themselves slipping in web-covered pits that seemed designed to trap anyone foolish enough to wander too deep where the sun no longer touched the stone. Roda made a habit to ignore the patches of cocoons that seemed to ungulate and writhe, shivering as for one moment she allowed herself to imagine what poor fool had managed to get themselves captured, and to what purpose those cocoons served the spiders within. She could see that Aro was still leading confidently as ever, his eyes solely focused on where he was going and not on any little details surrounding them, but she saw the subtle twitches of his tail in response to the sound of multiple legs upon stone, the fear clear in his smaller actions. Not sure of what they were supposed to be looking for she decided to break the silence by moving to her lover's side, whispering as she did so to inquire, "What are we even looking for Aro? We're surely not here to mine are we?"
Aro answered just as quietly, pausing their advance speaking in a casual tone, "Well, we're looking for the queen's hoard...Should be around her nest"
She could feel the blood draining from her cheeks. Aro hadn't been aiming for some lost treasure that miners had left behind, he had brought them into a spider queen's lair in order to steal from the whore queen herself! As low as she could manage she hissed and brought a hand up to grip his shoulder, claws digging in sharply, "Aro, we leave, now."
Aro shook his head answering in kind with his own hiss, "No, we can handle this. We just have to find the nest, take from the hoard and go. That type of treasure could see us out of this business for a few lifetimes or so."
Roda's grip never lightened, "Or we could be eaten alive by an angered queen and perhaps find out that she instead had nothing of great value."
Aro's tail lashed and he leaned in close so his words were clearer, the heat rising between them practically tangible, "Always questioning, always wondering whether or not I'm competent, you'll see if you just follow me. I've always led us to great things, always!"
Roda repressed snarling as she pressed her snout against his eyes flashing, never wavering, "You must understand how stupid this is. We've succeeded so many times thanks to your plan, but this business is more dangerous than simple bandits, or even old ruins that serve as home to wolves and other beasts." Her tone then softened, her hands coming up to touch his cheeks gingerly, "I love you but see sense, at least abandon this for me...I'm frightened of what could happen to me...and you."
For a moment Aro opened his mouth, closing and avoiding her gaze. He snapped and hissed stalking away from for just a few steps, tail lashing and arms crossed before finally he seemed to deflate, shoulders sagging, "Why can't you trust me with this?" he said like a wounded animal.
Roda frowned. She hated seeing his bubble burst, his confidence gone. That was not her partner, not by a longshot, but at times he needed to be reminded he wasn't invincible, and neither was she. With a sigh she moved to stand by him, hand on his shoulder with a gentle caress, "There are other treasures to plunder and find. You don't have to prove yourself like this. Come, let's get out of here, it's far too dangerous, please?"
With his eyes shut her lover finally admitted his fault, "Let's leave. A drider's lair might be too dangerous." His eyes then cracked open as he realized the slip in his words.
Again she felt blood drain, this time from her entire body, "A drider? A literal demon?!" She then let out a low snarl her hands on the verge of strangling his little neck, "Aro, what were you thinking?!" If they made it out alive she would murder the fool and perhaps she would do it now if they weren't in such great danger. They had to move before the drider found them mucking about in their lair. She then thought to those gems. She remembered little marks upon them, runes, which probably meant that the drider was already on her way.
Aro motioned to defend himself, but his mouth stayed open, no words uttered, his eyes trailing up above her just as a voice echoed out from all around them that sounded equal parts seductive, terrifying, and irritated, "Spawn of dragon...As always you find yourselves in the worst of ways for little baubles. Your hubris knows no bounds does it?" The voice then took on an edge that sent shivers up Roda's spine, "Yes dear kobold named Aro, what were you thinking?"
Roda turned and backed away quickly, her hand upon the hilt of her dagger, her eyes wide as she spotted the creature descending from the ceiling upon a string of silken web. The lower portion of the drider was a mass of black chitin and spider leg that looked more liked curved scythes, the upper portion that of a fair skinned women with long white hair that fell over plump breasts, pointed ears and arms full of black chitinous armor that ended in long spiked fingers. The drider was something out of a dream gone nightmare and Roda wasn't sure if she was going to be waking anytime soon, but it was just one creature. Perhaps if they moved at the same time they could kill the creature and get out of there. For a moment her eyes flashed to the side to see that her partner was on his feet, but shaking, eyes wide and his hands gripped tight upon his sword, an automatic motion. Roda would have to save them both on her own if Aro was frozen in his tracks.
Before the drider could utter another word or make a move, Roda was on it like a storm. From where she stood she leapt, dagger blurring in the darkness as she aimed for the creature's throat with decisive fury. The drider hissed in surprise and brought her hand up to catch the kobold's wrist, straining against the force of the kobold's momentum. Again the drider found shock as the kobold brought her body up to level a kick to her chest. For a moment the drider winced, a flash of pain crossing her sharp features before she tossed the kobold away. The female had great strength and skill for a kobold and could cause a problem if she were alone, but of course the kobold had a partner to take care of, a partner that the kobold loved very much. The drider reared its abdomen, firing off a net of web aimed directly at Aro.
Roda narrowed her eyes and moved a few inches to the side. She was about to gloat and taunt the drider for her poor aim, but she turned to see that her lover had been caught in a snare and was desperately trying to free himself to no avail. Another net fired from the drider with Roda turning just in time to roll away, hissing, "Let him go!"
Roda readied herself to pounce again, but stopped as she noticed the drider standing over her lover, a spear of fire in her hand glowing a feverish green in the darkness. The drider smiled revealing fangs illuminated by the green light and Roda scowled, but kept up her dagger prepared to gut the drider if she dared move against Aro. The drider could see the fire and determination in the female kobold's eyes and so she decided to bargain, "Cute. You care for him so dearly. If I killed him, with your abilities you might be able to harm me, so lay down your blade, and I let him free. Your life for his that is fair is it not?"
The kobold didn't move, not a single step for fear of her lover's wellbeing. Roda knew that the drider would kill them both regardless, and it wasn't wise to deal with such a creature, but she had little choice. Even if she could kill the drider then she would still have to deal with the spiders, and more importantly she'd be lost without Aro. Roda had always followed Aro through life, she never had the confidence or drive to leave the warren by herself, but he did and he assured her that she was good enough to make it out in the world without the family and even without him if necessary, but she never believed it she only followed someone she thought was capable. Aro had been the one to handle all of their interactions with humans and other races that didn't involve violence. Aro had been the one to spend their coin properly and made sure they lived comfortably. Without him she'd surely be lost. With a hissing sigh she tossed her dagger to the ground and shut her eyes, balling her hands into fists tightly just as she was hit with a silken net. On the floor now, she made no movement and no attempt to escape except, when she opened her eyes to see spiders carrying off Aro. Eyes wide with horror and anger she began to thrash back and forth inside of the net just as the drider stepped to her, "Shhh child, they are taking him away from here...Outside of our home to a safe place. They will not harm him, and I will not harm you."
Roda relaxed just a bit, though her heart was still beating rapidly. If she had any magic she would burn a hole straight through the web, and between the drider's too pretty face. Finally settling down from her thrashing she closed her eyes shivering as she felt the drider's hands pull her up into the air. She dared not ask what plans the horrid creature had for her. Why did the Drider not end her existence? Why allow her to live? Soon enough the drider began to speak, her eyes still shut refusing to look at the horrid thing, "I only wish to have you here as my guest dear...Females from other species can be so rare, so precious as they are the ones who give life by carrying children, and rarely do they come as powerful as you...So you see, I need you and I wouldn't dream of harming you."
That purring tone along with the suggested plans for Roda had her stomach in a knot. Again she began struggling, but the silk seemed to tighten with every little movement to the point where it pained her to move. The drider chuckled and stroked a hand over Roda's head whispering words to her ears that felt far too pleasant, the drider's hand glowing, "Shhh...Sleep little one. You'll need your strength, for when you wake, I will see that you are properly used and happy. I am not without gratitude, you will see...Serve me as your kind serve the dragons and you will earn your keep. Shhh...To kill you would be a great waste." With those words her eyes felt heavy, her body felt pleasent, and her mind drifted off into a foggy sleep.
Roda awoke with a start and found that she was free to sit up. Blinking away fatigue she stood only to realize that her clothing had been taken away and that her rear was cushioned not by stone, but by a veil of web that spread across the ground. Arms crossed she looked around and noticed she had been moved to a small chamber, no doubt deep inside of the mine or perhaps even in another system of caverns entirely. Around the corners of the room she saw larger silken sacks tucked away neatly, her eyes growing wide as she saw them pulse. She shivered, cold, still panic and dread setting in as she remembered seeing Aro dragged off by those spiders. Roda then recalled the words of the drider and she wondered if Aro's safety had truly been assured. Worry shook her body, but soon subsided as her shoulders sagged as she realized that she was truly all alone. Roda had herself to think about right now, the drider would soon be back to either eat her, or use her like some sort of breeding toy. She shivered as she recalled the drider's words, remembering sweet words laden with venom, promises that tried to convince Roda she should serve the drider rather than fight. She wondered what service would a kobold be to a corrupted creature? Before she could delve into those thoughts further she felt sharp fingers over her shoulder, the drider's voice cooing, "Don't be frightened...We're going to be working together after all."
Roda yelped and turned reaching for where her dagger usually was only to grab air. The drider cackled and touched over the kobold's cheeks with warm, sharp fingers. Roda tried to pull away but found herself captivated by the green glow coming from the fingers. Realizing that some magic was at work she bit onto her tongue and hissed out in pain, but pulled away from the drider's touch, spitting blood onto the chamber's web covered floor.
The drider simply smiled hands moving to clap once, brows raised, "My my, resourceful when you realize what is happening. You really are the perfect choice to serve me."
Roda never relaxed, her eyes narrowing as she answered with a low hiss, "I'd rather not be a house maid to a demon."
The drider again cackled, "Please dear. My name is Carola." Her green eyes then flashed as she glared, "And you would be so much more than a simple hand maiden."
Roda felt cold hands trail down her spine as the drider began circling her. Legs moving in an almost hypnotic fashion, without a sound. Carola then spoke out sending more shivers down Roda's spine, "You see. This body of mine is a cursed one. Long ago in anger, a human king I scorned levied this spell against me and cast me into the darkness. He left me there to suffer." Carola paused in front of Roda, her eyes distant, but the kobold dared not move still as she continued her story, "The curse had me fat with eggs to produce my precious children. The pain of those first few weeks when my body adjusted...Weren't pleasant. Regardless, my children and I can only go out so often unmolested, and I only wish to find a magic strong enough to end my curse. Hunting baubles and trinkets of high value...That is what you do with your mate yes? Serve me and it will be the same...Except you'll do so at my instruction."
Roda frowned her stance shifting just a bit, "Just get it over with and gut me. I don't have a reason to serve you, sob story or not." She then felt the air grow colder as the drider skittered closer to her, those eyes glowing green again as her arms extended, hands reaching out to cup Roda's cheeks.
The kobold shivered as Carola spoke in a near whisper, "But I would so prefer you as a whole servant, without the need to be broken and tamed."
Roda shook hard, but was unable to break herself free from the gaze and touch of the drider. Her body felt weak again, and her mind seethed with useless rage. Still, even though her functions were being taken over, she hissed quietly, eyes flashing with defiance as she stared into the eyes of the drider, her rage dulling the waves of pleasure being forced upon her. In sensing this resistance, the drider raised a brow, chuckling as she caressed the smooth scales upon the kobold's cheek. A strong mind not caught unaware would be difficult to break, but she wondered if the kobold's instincts were as trained as her mind and body. Licking her own pale lips she brought the fingers of one hand down to trail across the kobold's front, bringing them all the way down and between the kobold's feel over a sensitive slit, fingers working their way inside.
Roda's eyes widened and then shut tight as she felt cool fingers invade the insides of her cunt, arms shaking as she tried to break out of the binding, frustration sounding off in the form of a scowl, a scowl which turned to a squeal as those cool fingers spread her insides far apart. The drider's digits felt strangely smooth against her inner walls, warmth shame and pleasure building over the rage that held the drider's influence at bay. At the same time she focused now on that feeling of shame that washed over her body, the sick and twisted feeling of being forced to feel things she'd rather not by a demon. Her eyes opened with new defiance and again she hissed, quivering just a bit, but still standing up tall, her mind still her own. The drider only let out mocking laughter, her fingers burying themselves deeper inside of Roda. It wasn't too long before Roda's body betrayed her, twisting fingers drawing out warm and wet pleasure from the kobold's cunt, the drider's eyes flashing in pleasure. Even still Roda whimpered and struggled, her mind still focusing on the shame, the sick and nauseating feeling of the fact that a creature other than her partner was pleasuring her, but her mind was weakening. She heard the call of the drider within her mind, pleasant feelings pushing against her iron will along with a familiar voice. Her eyes opened wide and her struggling ceased as she heard within her mind the call of her lover, loud and clear. His voice smashed against the wall of her will and she practically crumpled, eyes tearing up. Aro was calling for her, calling for her to join him and the drider. Together they would be so happy, he would say, and that was a lie. A sick and twisted lie that had tears falling freely from her eyes, the walls of her mind slowly falling apart as she so desired to follow her lover. Gasping, her eyes shut, she whimpered and sagged, nearly falling over just as the drider moved a slender arm to catch the kobold, lips parting to coo and ease the kobold's suffering, "I could find him again you know. You two could serve me together, wouldn't that be nice?"
Roda shuddered and shook her head, refusing to believe those sweet lies, sobbing as she spoke, "Just leave him alone."
Carola spoke, whispering, her voice seeming to vibrate as she laid gentle kisses upon the kobold's neck, "But think about how happy he would be...As much treasure as you'd find...You two would be fat and happy, together under my service. Wouldn't it be nice?"
As the drider spoke her fingers dug deeper into Roda, twisting around and stretching to carress her insides. Roda herself squeaked and whimpered still, but that voice seemed to compel her, it seemed to beg for her to listen, and more importantly, believe, "It...It would be nice." Roda spoke quietly, her voice a whisper, her eyes glazed over, hazy, and glowing a dull green.
Carola pulled her fingers free from the kobold's pussy and laid the poor thing onto the bed of silk that covered the floor. The drider had little desire to break the kobold, and she could avoid it if only she trained Roda's mind. Eventually her influence would be able to reach into the deepest reaches of Roda's mind and the kobold would be hers, but only if she took it slow. She desired to have this tool be whole, desired to have the creature sure her in earnest and love her. Carola felt over the kobold's head, smiling just a bit, the poor thing wouldn't be usable for some time with this method, but the body was still there, a body that could be nurtured and used as a hatchery. Perhaps that would be break the poor thing if she were aware of what was happening, then again, it wasn't often that Carola had the chance to lay her eggs inside of a warm womb, typically they had to be laid inside of cold sacks of web. It was then that she noticed the kobold's eyes were open and watching her, dull green glow there showing the growing presence of her influence. The kobold sat up on her own and spoke quietly, her voice trembling, "Does my mistress desire something of me? Perhaps...Perhaps you wish for me to hunt Aro. I could find him and bring him here. He could hunt for us."
Carola nearly purred as she leaned to touch the cheeks of the kobold, "No dear...Nooo...You needn't go out just yet. You aren't ready." The drider didn't expect her to be awake after such mental stress, but the kobold if nothing strong, even subjugated. She made note though, of the small pangs of defiance she felt coursing through the connection she shared with Roda. Though she was obedient, the kobold still had a free spirit and would openly defy her if given the chance. No, she still needed time to be molded into Carola's perfect little pet. Perhaps laying her eggs within the kobold did not have to result in breaking the poor thing, perhaps it could serve her purpose instead. With a happy little hum she gave the kobold's snout a kiss, her hands moving to settle the enthralled creature back upon the ground, "I have something else you can do...Bond with me darling."
Roda for a moment perhaps thought of saying no, but her eyes still held the sign of compulsion so her answer came, "Certainly."
The drider moved her body over the kobold, rearing her abdomen, a thick appendage slipping free, sliding against the kobold's legs as Carola ordered, "Spread your legs dear...And enjoy yourself...Lose yourself..."
Roda closed her eyes and spread her legs. She felt as if she shouldn't, but her mistress had given her an order...and it felt good to obey. The pain and pressure of the past was gone, and she could only feel the dull ache of pleasure and satisfaction. Something wet touched between her legs and she peeked to see that her mistress had reared her abdomen to push some sort of appendage against her pussy. Reaching she gripped upon the member, squeezing softly and leading it to her cunt. She helped her mistress ease it in, knowing exactly what she wanted. Roda understood now. Rather than go out and find Aro and bring him back, she would foster a family for him, a family of precious spiders that would serve as her children. A small smile touched her features as she felt the slick ovipositor enter her pussy, stretching her insides. She hissed just a bit, shutting her eyes as the ridged portions of the appendage pushed deeper inside of her pussy. It had been much larger than she had anticipated, but the dull whisper and song inside of her head told her to enjoy rather than fight against the pain, and so she did. Finally she laid back fully, her hands letting go of the member now fully inside of her, and she began to rock her hips, her mistress driving that thick thing inside of her again and again.
The drider groaned out, her hands moving to grip and squeeze at her chest as she worked her abdomen to push her ovipositor inside of the kobold below her. Between her moaning she hummed dreamily, the air growing warmer around and between the two as she continued thrusting. Roda was a tight thing to be sure, and it would take a bit of work to get all the way inside of her. At the same time she calmed herself, remembering that she was supposed to bring thoughts of intimacy and love to entrap the kobold in a way that would keep her mind. Still, the heat, those wet tight walls squeezing at her member had her thrusting faster, desperate to connect to the kobold's womb. Deeper and deeper she went, penetrating the furthest reaches of the kobold. The drider already felt pressure building, her ovipositor engorging inside of the kobold, causing Roda below her to groan out and whimper, but even as she expressed her discomfort, the kobold hugged tight to her mistress, grinding those little hips like a good pet. Carola felt so close, she needed to let them out now. With a hissing moan she found her mark, pushing past the kobold's cervix and pressing into the womb, the tube like appendage engorging and spreading as a mixture of sticky liquid and ovular eggs began stuffing the kobold.
Roda groaned out, her eyes growing wide as she felt utter bliss upon her. The dull cry of pain in the back of her mind fell flat as she felt the sensation of serving her mistress and succeeding. One egg, two egg, three and more filled her, stretching her insides and bloating her abdomen just a bit. She breathed out, her hands reaching down to touch over her stomach, her eyes fluttering as she laid back unable to hold herself up against her mistress any longer. As she did so, her mistress pulled free from her with a sticky pop, leaning down with those soft silken hands to touch over her body, the drider laying soft kisses upon her cheek and mouth, tongue flicking out against her lips as her mistress spoke, "Good girl...Rest...We'll stay with one another for quite some time until those are ready to hatch...But worry not, these will be the only ones between us." Her lips then kissed at the kobold's ears as she whispered, "For now I need you to sleep...I need you to rest as I change you, for when you awaken you will be more powerful than you already are...More capable of serving me..."
Roda listened, her eyes feeling heavy without much effort from the powers at play. She felt her mistress lay soft touches all over her body that felt far too soft, far too serene. Before she fell asleep fully she spoke out, the last remnants of her mind speaking in her sleep addled state, "When I awaken...I'll murder you..."
The drider recoiled for a moment. Her eyes turning wide before narrowing. Feeling over the kobold's head she could sense no resistance, no magic at play to counter hers, nothing that would allow her to speak such a thing, and yet before the kobold had fallen asleep, she had shown her anger. Carola would remember this, and if it came to a battle, she would make sure that the kobold wouldn't have the opportunity to kill her, but now, now it was time to get to work. To corrupt the kobold and see that her newest servant would have the power to serve her.
