“Can’t believe I’ve never seen this copy before!” Ryan exclaimed while opening the case of his latest purchase. The box for the Wii game was practically shimmering, gold and black metal with an elaborately carved image of Hyrule castle on the front cover. His fingers traced the outline while he looked at the disc and saw one of his most beloved characters - Wolf Link. The personification of the Hero of Time trapped in the Twilight Realm, taking on the persona of a noble and powerful beast. It was unbelievably beautiful, Ryan having to wonder how much time and effort went into the planning process alone. Delicately, he lifted the disc with both hands and set the case gently on the TV stand. The disc itself felt light as a feather, hardly any heft to it with a completely unmarred surface. He turned it around in his hands, the back of the disk mimicking one of the Twilight portals he remembered seeing the first time he played the game. That side looked notably more devious - pixelated with a unique fashion of cel-shading that drew a stark contrast between the blacks and reds and grays and greens. Ryan tilted his head as he examined it a bit closer, fully at a loss for words at the masterful craftsmanship.
“I didn’t think they could decorate this side of a disc…” He thought aloud, shifting back to sit down on the floor and examine the disc more carefully. His hands rested between his legs, crossing them while admiring the details with his olive colored shorts as a backdrop. There was something eerie about it…but also enchanting as he bit down on his lip. Maybe he was overthinking everything. It had been a long past couple of days after all, and he really needed this weekend to unwind and turn his mind off for a little while. Fortunately for him, he just so happened to come across a popup shop on his way home from work. It was an oddly specific shop, too - only selling merchandise from the Legend of Zelda franchise. The game he bought was the only copy they had in stock, and he got it for practically nothing. The thought made him smile, humming softly before adjusting his stance to put the disc in his Wii. The console hummed to life, the green light of the console flashing for a moment as the disc disappeared within. The console hummed, the light blinked…and then nothing. The TV was still on as the screen crackled once or twice, causing Ryan to raise a brow.
“Huh…” The TV never gave him problems before. He just sat there for a moment, waiting to see if something would happen. “...did I put the disc in backwards?” He laughed to himself at the thought, running a hand through his dark brown hair before shaking his head. “Guess it’s been a while. Probably shoul-” Before he was able to do anything else, the TV erupted in a haze of static and loud popping. Ryan jumped, falling back onto his rear with a heavy thud. His attention turned back to the Wii as he noticed the light was flashing colors he’d never seen before. It flashed from green to red…to black? And even white and gray and blue? Ryan had a feeling that this wasn’t normal. He quickly shifted around to press the eject button, but it didn’t work didn’t work. All it did was make the lights blink and flash faster, the disc drive revving up and with a motorized whirring the likes of which Ryan had never heard. He swallowed nervously, standing up before taking some hesitant steps away from the TV. The static continued to crackle, getting louder and more wild before it shifted in an unusual manner.
The black and white snow on the screen changed to lots of random, unidentifiable shapes. There were more colors, too. Greens, blacks, reds, grays…all colors matching the back of the disc as Ryan watched those colors pulse and undulate in an oddly hypnotic manner. The back of his legs bumped into something, falling onto the couch behind him as the noises got louder, more menacing. And as if that weren’t enough, Ryan could feel a light breeze brushing past his cheek, through his hair, up his black tee…all coming from the TV. A pit formed deep in his stomach, swallowing nervously as he gripped the cushion of the couch. His heart pounded. His forehead beaded with sweat. His body shivered from the nerves of something terrible swiftly approaching. And as he locked eyes with the center of the TV while the still air of the living room rumbled to life, a loud crackling boom exploded before a windtunnel burst from the TV. A swirling pit of those eerie colors sank into the screen as gale force winds sucked everything in the room into its depths.
Including Ryan.
He did everything he could to hold onto the couch, the cushions hardly providing any foundation for him as they were quickly pulled into the air and snatched by that dark portal. Ryan was almost immediately thrown off balance, the cushion’s momentum pulling his body off the couch as the vortex got stronger. Faster. Louder. It blew through his hair, shirt and shorts flapping wildly against his body before his legs dragged along the floor. A panicked look was all he could muster before he lost his balance. There wasn’t even a thud as Ryan never touched the ground, tumbling head over heels past the overturned coffee table. His back slammed against one of the legs, Ryan letting out a sudden cry of pain before he was completely engulfed by that portal. His vision went black, flecks of reds, greens, and grays flashing in and out of focus before a loud hissing buzz overtook his senses. He grasped at the sides of his head to try and block out the noise, finding no reprieve from the assault on his hearing while the vertigo hit hard. Everything turned upside down and backwards, not even able to discern which direction was ‘forward.’ But he could feel himself moving…rapidly. There was a pressure pushing back against him, flailing as he fell before letting out a loud scream of panic and concern as-
THUNK
He landed hard on a solid stone floor, the wind immediately taken from his lungs. Stars exploded behind his eyes, thoughts spiraling as he did his best to blink away images of that strange portal. The only sound he could hear was his own groaning as pain pulsed through his entire body. His vision slowly adjusted to the room around him, finding nothing but pitch black emptiness and hearing dull drips of water from a high ceiling. A cave? It had to be. But…how? Whatever that strange portal was, it must’ve taken him somewhere pretty far away. Ryan could already tell from the stone beneath him and the echoing of his groans that it was vast, but that was ignoring how impossible this whole situation was. A mystery for another day. For now, he would have to get up and find some sort of light. He pushed up off the floor, shifting onto his knees as something bumped up against his arm. It was stiff, rising up from the ground with smooth edges and no discernable corners. Whatever it was, it seemed like as good a place as any to start. His hands fumbled around the base of the strange object, tracing up its length before feeling a rounded edge about three feet up.
The shape was strange, Ryan having no frame of reference for what it could be. His fingers drew along that rounded edge, noticing that it seemed very intentionally crafted. There wasn’t a single imperfection along the smooth surface, its cold curves a testament to the skill of whoever crafted it. With an idle grunt, his arms pulled the rest of his body up before adjusting his posture. One of his hands reached over the pedestal with the intent of grabbing the other side, judging it couldn’t have been too wide. But in that moment, his knuckles banged against something firm and hard with a metallic clang. He pulled back his hand instinctively with a gasp of pain, but any focus on his hand was quickly pulled away by an explosive rumbling followed by a beam of light that shot toward the ceiling. Ryan’s body fell backward, landing once again on his rear as the pedestal suddenly glowed from the light. There was a shield on it, regal as it was brilliant with a familiar looking insignia on the front. Red wings spread out in a breathtaking manner with glowing triangles above it, reflecting the eerie blue light that filled the cave. The shield floated above the pedestal as wind gathered around it, the light swirling from the center of those three stacked triangles. It grew larger and larger, swirling in a familiar portal as the one from Ryan’s TV before another ear-splitting crash echoed against the cave walls. Like thunder clapping and lightning flashing, bright lights blinded Ryan as he turned away and let out a muffled yell of confusion from what was happening…
…before everything went silent again.
Ryan took his time in recovering from the confusion, his head throbbing from the lights and sounds as he put a hand to his temples. Rubbing at them gently, he sat up with a light, grumbling groan. “I’m so done with surprises today…” The words still echoed off the walls of the cave, but the eerie blue light illuminated everything so he could see. As he opened his eyes and looked around, something immediately was out of place. The shield no longer had that swirling portal within, but instead was dwarfed by the outline of a feral specter of a beast.
It stood on all fours, body akin to an overgrown dog with a shimmering, ethereal glow. A long tail flicked around behind it, large paws dotted with fierce, sharp claws as a manacle jingled against an ankle. The ghost’s neck was decorated with what looked like a bush of hair, all pointing back toward the rest of its body where shimmering markings dotted its sides, belly, chest, back…everywhere. The beast stretched, standing up tall and proud before taking a step toward Ryan. He was frozen in place, watching the spirit move in a slow, collected canter. Closer and closer it came, just a mere few feet from Ryan as it shook its ephemeral body. The muzzle stretched open, a tongue licking up the side of the animal’s cheeks before it curled into a satisfied smirk.
“I owe you thanks, human.”
…it spoke??”
Ryan assumed he was hallucinating, rubbing his eyes before looking at what seemed to be a wolf spirit standing in front of him. But the spirit simply rolled their shoulders back, padding in a slow circle around Ryan as if stalking their prey. “I know not from where you came or even if you know what you have done…but that matters not. You freed my spirit and in so doing, you may have saved Hyrule.”
“Hy…wait, Hyrule??” Ryan stammered, shifting into a kneel as his knees pressed against the hard ground. The wolf just nodded, Ryan suddenly recognizing those markings. They matched those of Wolf Link from Twilight Princess perfectly…though something felt off about the situation as a whole. The spirit broke that reverie with a single, solemn nod.
“Yes. I’ve lost count of how long my spirit has been trapped here, but my body…it craves more. Hyrule needs me, I can feel it. And…I cannot save her in this form. Hrn…no. No, I need more. Something…physical. Heavy. Satisfying.” He licked up his lips again, Ryan suddenly feeling more like a different form of prey as he slowly rose to his feet. Wolf Link’s spirit never stopped his circling though, that wide grin stretching further as he ceased his pacing when face to face with Ryan. “And you…only a human or Hylian could’ve freed me from my confines. Do you know why, human?”
“I…wh-what’re you…” Ryan stammered, unable to answer as he felt things were moving in a dangerous direction. The wind in the cave picked up once again, a gentle breeze blowing just at Ryan’s feet as it was all directed toward the spirit. He sat down on his haunches, eyes staring directly into Ryan’s soul as they shone with a deeper, darker oceanic blue. The phantom tail flicked around behind him, moving faster as Ryan noticed something else odd about the spirit. There, between his hind legs and pressed up against his underbelly…Ryan could see the outline of a sheath. Perhaps spirits in the Zelda universe had full genitalia, but it struck Ryan as incredibly strange and foreboding when combined with the way the spirit spoke to him. Wolf Link’s tongue flicked against his cheek once more, an idle rumble growling low as he tilted his head and wagged excitedly.
“Because those are the forms that are compatible with my spirit. I lust for a physical body in selfish ways, but that’s second to saving Hyrule. You arriving in this world at this exact time can be no coincidence, but the grace of Hylia herself. And…the enjoyment I’ll get out of it is merely a convenient byproduct.” He stood up again, walking closer to Ryan who backed away from the spirit. “Come now, human. Do you not want to be blessed by the Hero of Time? Most would beg to be my anchor to the physical realm. I frankly see it as an upgrade.” The personality this version of Link was showing didn’t match what Ryan expected, but he didn’t have time to think of that considering he was being stared down by a wolf with every intention of taking over his body. He backed up faster, stumbling along the stone as Wolf Link’s pace quickened.
“D-don’t I get a say in this??” He cried out, the sweat already dotting along his forehead as Wolf Link raised a brow with a light hmph.
“Were the fate of your world resting in the balance, would you give someone else that choice? No. You’re the only person who has been here in ages…and conveniently you’re an adult male close to the exact height I crave.” He snickered quietly, Ryan looking behind him to try and adjust his path and stay away from any walls.
“Are you trying to save the world or get off on being a smug hero?” It might not have been the time for throwing insults at Wolf Link, but the situation felt too off for Ryan. Being sucked into a new world, accidentally triggering a magical object, a spirit claiming that possession would be a blessing…he continued moving away from Wolf Link as the spirit rumbled quietly.
“My aim is to save the world. Any pleasure I feel from the situation is simply…an added benefit.” His smirk grew wider, head tilting to the side as Ryan could feel the hair standing up on the back of his neck. “You say this like you would feel no pleasure and gain no benefit. As a noble host, anything I experience will become your perspective tenfold. I save Hyrule? You feel the pride. I overcome a dungeon? You gain the knowledge. I tie my knot with another? Well…
“You get the idea.”
That last statement made Ryan stumble again, Wolf Link taking full advantage of the opportunity as he took off at a sprint toward Ryan. There was no time for Ryan to react, regaining his composure too late as he saw the spirit leap through the air, making contact with his chest…and completely passing through his body. It felt as if he was plunged into an ice bath upside down, body shivering before he crumpled to his knees. The sensation was too foreign…too strange to the point where he let out a huff of breath before looking around the room in confusion. “Wh…wh-what did…” He couldn’t finish, finding Wolf Link in his periphery as the spirit casually poked fun at the human.
“I blessed you, human. Or perhaps I should say Ryan. Not a noble name, but such things can be adjusted.”
“How did you…”
Wolf Link shook his head idly, adjusting his seated position as he almost looked bored. “That’s what you’re questioning right now? Not why your hands look so strange?” Any response Ryan had was caught in the back of his throat, his arm feeling numb as he slowly turned his attention toward his body. The second his hand came into view, his eyes went wide in shock and confusion. There WAS something wrong with his hand…if he could even call it a hand anymore. His fingers had swollen, knuckles stiff as he struggled to separate them. With a low grunt, he did what he could to lift his arm only to find that his shoulder immediately cramped. He gasped, gritting his teeth in pain before noticing his nails looked longer…darker. His other hand reached over to grasp at his wrist, fingers not cooperating as they were showing similar changes. Both hands felt tight, inflexible…unfamiliar. Before Ryan knew it, he couldn’t separate his fingers past his last knuckles, and hardly even there.
Ryan did his best to keep his breath steady, heart pounding in his chest as he couldn't bend his wrists. A jolt of pain rushed up his back, falling down onto his hands and catching himself by the fingers. It should’ve been painful. It should’ve felt unnatural. But something about the way his fingers held him up and his nails curved away from him felt more natural than it did on his knees. And his spine was in a state of confusion, shivers rushing up his body as he went from arching it up in the air one moment to stretching it out parallel to the ground the next. His hair shifted around, some of it falling down over his brow while bringing his attention ,back to his face. Everything felt off, and if he wasn’t experiencing everything right in front of his eyes? He wouldn’t believe what was happening.
“You confusion and fear baffles me…” Wolf Link said calmly, walking in a slow circle around Ryan as he struggled to bring his hands to his cheeks. Ryan’s wrists had elongated, shoulders appearing as if they shifted more toward his back. He gasped and panted, letting out a low and guttural cry as he felt a cramp in his feet. They didn’t last for very long as small pinpricks of black claws stabbed through the fronts of his shoes. His socks stretched up his ankles as well, gritting his teeth together as his lips and cheeks scrunched together in a confused and terrified snarl. He didn’t even notice how sharp his teeth were growing, huffing in the air as he was too focused on the lack of space around his feet. “...and yet, it entertains me all the same!” Ryan looked up at Wolf Link who was grinning devilishly, brown eyes clouding over as specks of blue dotted the irises.
“Whrrarf…??” His lips moved, but the words came out as muffled rumbling growls. Everything went tense, hands cramping as he could no longer articulate his fingers. Soft black and pink pads had grown out of his hand to give him more support on the ground. Hair also grew at an alarming rate all over his fingers, more of it inching along his forearms and longer wrists. His arms hardly looked human anymore, Ryan’s back lifting while his rear pressed up into the air with legs shifting uncomfortably. Those holes in his shoes grew larger, entire claws pressing out of the front as an identical white hair surrounded his toes. They grew close together, Ryan’s heel pressing far out into the air while his socks tore from being over stretched. He let out a long moaning whimper, his feet fully pressing out of his shoes and against the ground. Each of his toes had grown white hair, thick and soft as his legs, feet, hands and arms were looking more like legs and paws with every passing second. And with that, Ryan could feel a twitch in the back of his mind. An itch. An urge. Like a thought, but one that he didn’t think was his.

One of his legs tensed, digits curly into the ground as he could feel his body instinctively moving to press his rear onto the ground. A whimper escaped from the back of his throat, right paw tamping on the ground as if wanting to scratch at his sides. It took everything in Ryan to fight the urge, but it grew even tougher to resist when something ripped through the back of his shorts. He yelped out of a growing muzzle, pushing his front paws down into the ground as a small extension of his spine pressed out from the newly formed tear that ran down the center of his pants. Grays and whites and blacks dotted the new appendage, growing longer and thicker as Ryan’s new tail idly swayed from side to side. He turned to look back at it, neck cracking slightly as it stretched out further and allowed him a better view of his back. His legs had completely reformed, shorts falling off of his waist as his boxer briefs barely hung around his body. They were already tearing along the seams, showing off a white furred tube that slowly encircled his shaft.

He blinked repeatedly, slumping down into a seated position as he pressed his front paws against his growing muzzle with a whimper. More of those thoughts rushed through his head, struggling to keep his mind focused while tracking how his body changed. “Not so used to instincts, I see.” His eyes opened, looking through those curved, sharp claws as Wolf Link casually walked past. He felt the soft paw pads lightly brush against the bridge of his nose as it lengthened out into a white and dark grayish muzzle. His nose darkened to black, a new whimper echoing off the walls of the room as Wolf Link rumbled eagerly. “You will adjust. The call of the hero and call of the wild…they’re not so different. Though it feels that way when you act upon them.” His voice dropped low, expression shifting as he impatiently watched the changes progress. Ryan continued feeling along his face, paws bending and batting uselessly at the growing fur. The individual digits evened out, thumb having merged along his paw into an individual dew claw that he couldn’t control in the slightest. His arms wavered as he struggled to hold onto his face while more fur grew along it, grunting and wruffing before his new front paws fell to the ground to keep him upright.
His shirt was already hanging awkwardly from his body, the sleeves tugging against his shoulders as they readjusted toward his back. Ryan grit his teeth and whined, feeling the fabric catching along his shifting anatomy as strings pulled at the seams. It didn’t take much longer until they tore, fresh rips ruining his shirt as his briefs were facing the same fate. But as they hugged tighter along his body there was another shift in his mind. This one connected to him, though. Between his legs. Barely visible in those ripping underpants. The outline of his shaft looked rounder…thicker almost as he could feel the blood pulsing and his heart pounding. He felt more sensitive as his need forced its way through a new rip with a thick bead of Ryan’s pre dripping toward the ground. He barely managed to look between his legs as his new lupine ears folded to the sides in embarrassment. One of his almost fully shifted paws reached down between his hind legs, a soft and rounded pad pressing against the newly tapered, bruning red shaft throbbing out of a bright white sheath.

And he did up the side of his muzzle. A dull glint flashed in his eyes as he could feel himself leaning his head down toward his body with the sudden urge to groom himself. The smug laugh of Wolf Link stopped him just as he opened his fully formed maw to envelop himself within, gasping as he was staring directly at his tapering wolf cock in shock and horror. He immediately brought his head up to glare at the spirit who was staring right back with his own phantom erection twitching unapologetically in the air. “And here I thought you would resist the urges longer. No matter, it will be easier when you let the hero’s spirit fill you. It will make saving Hyrule easier to manage if you give in and play nice.” It brought a growl from deep within Ryan’s throat, interrupted by a yelp as his briefs snapped at the waistband. They fell off of his body to join his pants, quickly followed by the neck of his shirt tearing as well. There was nothing covering his body except for a thick pelt of fur matching Wolf Link’s perfectly, the last patches and bits quickly growing in while his muscles readjusted. And through it all, that aching need shone like a beacon between his hind legs while he fought the urges to thrust his hips into the air. Even now, he could feel his muscles clenching as his lower body rocked forward as if unable to control it.

His eyes shut tight as he shook his head, back curving into the air as he lowered toward the ground and struggled to control his breath. His chest heaved in heavy huffs, head shaking and body shivering while more of his pre dripped onto his clothes beneath him. The thoughts were racing through his head as his new wolf instincts continued to push him to act in ways he couldn’t control. Licking between his legs. Howling at the moon. Sniffing for a mate. Breeding to start a pack. Knotting his bitch. All of it fought every rational thought he had in his mind, head lowering closer to the ground as he covered his face with his new paws once more. Those alone felt so foreign to him…larger, furred half-fingers having shrank back into small digits with thick, curling claws poking against his still growing muzzle. Those squishy, soft paw pads felt wrong against his face, letting out a long whimper as they overshadowed his eyes easily. And he felt the same about his feet, rear paws shifting around awkwardly as he couldn’t get used to his new stance. He pushed them down against the ground in an attempt to get a feel for them, only whimpering and huffing from the strange sensation. His digits spread as far as they could to accommodate the clacking of his claws against the stone beneath him, finding it impossible to keep track of all the changes.
And as the last of his anatomy shifted into its new form, he couldn’t ignore the heat mounting between his legs. He had to adjust multiple times as he lay on the ground, his new length still dripping as his wild urges hungrily flared in his mind. His muzzle opened in a heavy, lust-fueled pant to try and cool himself down while that aching throb wet the fur of his underbelly and brushed against his warm body. It was hell, torture of the worst kind as he did anything and everything to distract himself…but couldn’t. All he could do was let the images of himself mounting a new wolfess fill his mind, thrusting and mounting and mating while his new, thick paws grasped at their haunches and pulled her body in closer. Or maybe his body. Or maybe anyone’s body, he couldn’t tell anymore. Any scenario ended with him giving one final thrust as he felt their bodies combine into one with an unbearable, unbelievable tug driving him up a wall. He couldn’t comprehend the sensation, knowing only that they had tied and mated with every ounce of energy they had. He gulped nervously as the heat flared within and his heart beat like mad against his chest, filling the room with its dull echoes and Ryan’s renewed whines.
“Do you really wish to fight it so?” Ryan didn’t dare look up, knowing that Wolf Link was just trying to goad him further as he could feel that confusing sensation along his body coming to an end. “Never have I seen a wolf fight the urges so strongly. Granted I was not born a wolf…but fighting those urges is a fate worse than death. Your body craves what it was built to do - to roam the plains and be a symbol for courage, a symbol of hope. Of new chances…new life. New…wolves.” His voice took a new tone as he spoke, Ryan chancing a look up at the spirit who was looking somehow more worked up than before. It seemed even the spirit couldn’t fully resist those urges, making Ryan tilt his head in confusion before gasping as another pulse of his arousal brought a new surge of pre from his now fully shifted shaft. He whimpered even louder than before, rolling onto his side as he struggled to fight those urges any longer. He wanted to mate…to breed…to shove his muzzle between his legs and lap at himself like mad until he could empty his knot in whatever he could find, be that a mate or his maw, he didn’t care. He knew it was crazy. Knew it was insane. Knew it was a trap. And yet…if he could think clearer after shooting his load? Then…m-maybe…
Once again, he shook his head as that overwhelming sensation finally faded away. The changes had finished. He didn’t know how he could tell, but something about the way the urges seemed to calm down made him feel as if he wouldn’t have to fight quite as hard. Slowly and with shaking legs, Ryan pushed himself up onto all fours, weak and panting heavily as his length slowly twitched back toward his sheath. It still leaked hungrily, but it was no longer all consuming. Wolf Link hadn’t seemed to notice yet, his paw fumbling with his own equipment between his legs…but unable to grasp at himself. He growled almost inaudibly, snarling as it was clear the spirit was unable to sate his needs. Ryan raised a brow at the sight, thoughts slowly forming in his already slow-moving head as he saw a potential option…a possibility he could maybe exploit.
As he took a step forward, the clacking of his claws on the stone floor brought Wolf Link back to attention. That shimmering blue muzzle curled into a smirk, the spirit ignoring any frustration he might be experiencing as he stood up at full height. Though he was just a wolf spirit, his stance was imposing as he still seemed to look down on Ryan. And with Ryan now closer to the ground…there was something more intimidating about it. But he wasn’t about to roll over and give up his body, no. He still had some fight in him, even if he had a new body to get used to. Ryan took a few sluggish steps forward, the spirit letting out a mocking huff of a laugh as he humored Ryan.
“Not satisfied with a lupine life? A pity. You would rise to a much greater purpose on all fours.” His voice was haughty and judgmental, but it always held that same level of disdain. “I suppose you would prefer something more familiar. And…perhaps I would as well.” The soliloquy hardly acknowledged Ryan’s existence, giving Ryan the chance to move in closer and further calm his body. His shaft refused to slip fully back into his sheath…but he’d at least brought it down to a small chub with a thick sheath. It would do for now. The spirit was paying no mind to Ryan, simply continuing on with his own thoughts. “Yes…four legs would be a nuisance at this point. I’d hardly be able to compete with Ganon’s years of strategy and technological developments as I once did…”
Ryan listened and tried to take note of anything he could use, his blackened lips curling into a snarl as he took on a bold, heroic pose he’d seen countless times in the past. Wolf Link’s spirit finally took notice, his head tilting as if bored before rolling his eyes with a grunt. “Cute. The puppy found his fangs. This would truly be easier if you rolled over and submitted instead of raising your hackles at every step.” And suddenly, the spirit’s body vanished in a subtle breeze. Ryan’s ears perked up high into the air, eyes opening wide as his head shot back and forth. The cave was…empty. There was no sound aside from his claws against the stone, no being other than himself. He was alone. With the body of a wolf. Slowly, the gravity of his situation hit him. Was he even in the same universe? Could he ever get back home? A soft whimper escaped from the back of his throat as he looked around in fear and concern…
…before a familiar face appeared in front of him.
“How precious,” The spirit cooed down to him, an intangible paw poking at Ryan’s nose as a jolt of heat pulsed suddenly throughout his body. He stumbled backwards with a yelp, ears perking as his tail flicked out and his hackles rose. His back arched while he took hesitant steps backwards, unable to comprehend what was happening as that strange sensation rippled deep within him once more. His fangs clenched together, shivering as his ears pressed back against his head. His paws tapped and pushed against the stone ground while his digits shivered. His claws dug against the floor, Ryan shutting his eyes tight before lowering his head and gasping for breath. Something was different this time. His fur didn’t fade away…but rather thinned out in some places. His underbelly rumbled as it shifted, flattening slightly while Ryan’s digits curled and stretched out. He huffed and growled before hacking out loudly, deep and gruff vocalizations shifting into what sounded like the vestiges of words.
“Fortunately I won’t have to hear your thoughts for too long.” It was like a dagger to the back of his mind, feeling that sheath pulsing once again as one of Ryan’s hind legs shifted toward his head. He shivered again, his lower paw pressing against the stone as something changed. His posture shifted, neck cracking while his spine elongated into a new position. Each of his limbs twitched and cramped, breaths coming out in deeper, haggard pants as Ryan slowly pushed up onto two legs. His rear paws thickened notably, legs gaining strength to support an upright posture while his front paws curled into semblances of fists. His front legs bent awkwardly in front of him as if a dog standing on two legs, rolling his shoulders and tilting his neck as each of his limbs shifted. “Bipedals do have it easier, after all.” The spirit said as an aside, watching while sporting his own ghostly erection as Ryan couldn’t hold back his own. Those slighty speckled eyes shut tight as he felt lightheaded and stiff. Each moment another part of his body changed was another muscle that tightened, cramping and aching before having to shift his paws out to the side for better balance. He still shook with wobbling legs, but he was able to keep his stance while his weight evened out.
His teeth were still gnashed together, hair back behind his head as he had a physique similar to what Ryan had as a human. His elbows bent, fingers articulating as thumbs pressed up from where he once had dew claws. He still had a notably quadrupedal looking body, but it shifted into something more anthropomorphised. His ears splayed back against his head while his feet and sheath were still wolf-like…but with more impressive proportions. That sheath continued to throb as a thick nub of red tapered need dripped to the ground in front of him. Ryan was finally able to put a paw-like hand against the side of his head, feeling dizzy as his tail flicked around in an attempt to maintain his stance. His muscles continued to shift, a toned and athletic body sculpting itself into something more fitting of a hero. But his thoughts didn’t match, those instincts from his previous form still swimming around in his mind…quieter but still equally overwhelming. The last bits of his body adjusted to the new bipedal stance, tail thickening and body shaping into a form that made the spirit smirk wide.
“Not bad…not bad at all. Perhaps a bit more compact than I would’ve wanted, but I can work with this.” Ryan was being evaluated like an animal, those words dripping with a sense of possessiveness that Ryan couldn’t comprehend. His muzzle was the last thing to adjust, opening and closing his maw as the idle rumbles continued to shape back into human speech.
“Vrrruhr…” The difficulty was unlike anything Ryan could describe, holding his head as he stood nude before the specter who awaited Ryan’s next move. “H-hearrrdh…sh-shurrkhh…iiiiihngh.” It was barely comprehensible, but the spirit of Wolf Link seemed to understand it perfectly. He waved a paw in the air dismissively before stretching his body and grinning wide.
“The headache will pass once I’ve taken my new host body, don’t you worry.” Those words held a new meaning now as Ryan’s eyes opened wide. His head shot up toward Wolf Link as more of those flecks of light blue flickered in his gaze. Wolf Link smirked before letting out a soft cackle at the sight, his paws flexing as he kept his gaze focused solely on Ryan. “Oh, you finally understand? After I’ve been telling you my plans in plain common this entire time? Good boy, just in time for me to finally be, as you humans say, Player One. Permanently.” There was no time to react, the spirit taking off at a breakneck pace before he leapt into the air and dove into Ryan’s chest. The force knocked Ryan onto his rear, tail flicking up as his eyes went wide and he looked down at the literal wolf spirit’s lower body wiggling around…sticking out of his chest. He shivered heavily, feeling a strange chill as the spirit’s paws kicked in the air before he managed to fully make his way inside of Ryan. There was a second of silence, that chill turning to a full-blown fire that lit up his body as he cried out in confusion. Another presence slowly made its way into his thoughts, Ryan’s hands grasping at his temples before he let out a yowling howl of confusion and instinct. He didn’t know what he’d done…but it worked as the light blue body of Wolf Link was expelled from him before rolling along the floor.
The spirit let out a hacking cough, pushing up to all fours as he was panting softly. “D-damnit…It has been some time. I’ve g-gotten rusty.” The voice was gruff, frustration plain as day while his transparent legs shook. “S-surely he’s not strong enough to r-resist it again.” The grin spread wide along his muzzle, the spirit of Wolf Link having tasted a physical body again as he took off toward Ryan once more. Ryan had hardly managed to stand up, one knee on the ground as the spirit leapt at him once more. This time, he aimed for Ryan’s back as his head dove in and quickly disappeared before he slowly inched his way inside of Ryan’s body. This attempt was harder to resist, that translucent body pushing in more and more before he was completely absorbed into Ryan. It was a strange and haunting feeling, Ryan’s body shivering as his thoughts turned to static. He shut his eyes tight, shaking his head before growling and letting out a loud, heavy breath. That sensation only lasted for a moment as the spirit was expelled from Ryan’s body once more, sliding along the floor on his back.
“F-fuck!” The spirit spat out, panting as it seemed he was struggling to catch his own breath. He slowly made his way to all fours, turning back toward Ryan who’d fallen down to his hands and knees. Ryan’s head was facing away from Wolf Link’s spirit, giving him a clear and open view of Ryan’s backside. That tail lifted up to show off a white furred sac and tailhole…giving the spirit an idea. His muzzle curled into a wide grin, licking up the side of his muzzle before he growled low. Ryan was struggling to catch his breath, claws pressed down into the stone as his limbs shook. Resisting Wolf Link had taken so much out of him, and he didn’t know if he could manage it again. But he’d have to. It didn’t matter how many times the spirit tried to take his body - he’d never give in. Even now as he could hear the almost noiseless clicking of claws along the floor, he gritted his teeth and shifted his body to turn toward the spirit and prepare himself for another bout of resistance…
…before he felt the chill of Wolf Link grappling him along the waist.
And the burning heat of a stiff, throbbing lupine shaft thrusting under his tail.
Ryan’s head shot up as he let out a surprised yelp, feeling as if that wisp of a cock was not only physically there, but also just large enough to fill him completely. His own sheath pulsed to life as the tip of his crimson length quickly spilled out from that white fur. He gasped for breath, the spirit’s large paws hooking around Ryan’s waist before pulling Ryan back against his need. Ryan couldn’t close his muzzle, taking in sharp breaths and letting out low, confused moans as he could feel a thick, ethereal knot bouncing and pulsing against his hinds. He was bracing to push the spirit off of his body, managing to get out a growl before the spirit’s teeth clamped down on the nape of Ryan’s neck. That bite felt so real, a chill rushing through Ryan’s body as he could feel his body acting on the instinct to spread his legs, fold his ears back, push against the spirit’s cock…submit. He whimpered and moaned, those paws holding tight to his body as he could feel their claws and pads gripping him tight. He managed to bite his lip, confusion and overwhelming pleasure inhabiting every bit of his body as that shaft thrust in and out, in and out, over and over and over. The sensations were unlike anything Ryan could explain, gasping and moaning as he could feel his own erection throbbing quickly to life.
“Hnngh…th-that’ssah goooodrf bohyr…” Wolf Link’s voice echoed in the room, his muzzle still clamped down against Ryan’s neck as Ryan felt his limbs shaking. His mind was telling him to get a hold of himself. To fight the feelings. To do something! But there was a stronger force in his body keeping him still. Lifting his tail higher. Making him moan as those paws pressed against his fur. A heat raged inside of him, unspoken needs and feelings keeping him on his hands and knees as he was bred by the spirit of the wolf. His tongue hung out over the side of his lips, panting and whimpering with every firm thrust into his body. He’d never felt anything so thick, so cold, so…incomprehensible. And yet, it still burned like a blazing inferno inside of him, instincts and wolf-like body pushing him into a state of irresistible bliss and pleasure. His own cock ached in need, knot pulsing and pre dripping down onto the floor beneath him as the spirit humped harder and thrust deeper. There were no thoughts to describe what he was feeling. No words for him to use. All he could manage was another whining moan and an urge deep within the depths of his mind.
An urge to mate…
…or to be mounted.
The spirit’s knot thrust against Ryan’s rear once more before it slipped inside and locked the two together, pushing both of them past the limits of what they could handle. They howled as one, Ryan’s cock pulsing one last time before he shot a long, hard burst of white hot need onto the ground. His hips tried bucking in the air but couldn’t, trapped by those firm paws and thick knot as he could feel his body being pumped full of strangely cold and heavy spirit need. The two were lost in their pleasure, Ryan’s arms and legs shaking before he slumped to the ground and rolled his hips against the cold stone. He couldn’t even comprehend when his climax ended, panting and huffing as he felt the heft of that wolf spirit humping him harder and harder into the floor. And without Ryan’s awareness…that soft blue body of Wolf Link slowly sank into his back, slipping inside of Ryan as the spirit moaned and huffed in sweet, victorious pleasure. Ryan could feel his need flaring again, the afterglow turning into another wave of orgasm as the spirit fully merged with his body. He didn’t notice for a moment, just reveling in the shivering heat while the last of his cum pulsed out of his shaft and left him a moaning mess on the floor.
…
“...Hrngh…”
That wasn’t Ryan’s voice.
His eyes opened wide, feeling a chill rush up his spine as he could tell the spirit had merged with his body. He was still weak from being mounted, grunting and huffing as he tried to force the spirit out once more. His eyes shut tight, muscles clenching as he could see those glowing blue legs lifting out of his body. “O-oh no you don’t.” The wolf echoed in the back of his head, those legs immediately merging into his body once more as Ryan let out a heavy gasp. That chill came back, Ryan doing his best to try again with his body exhausted and spent. He was only able to get his body to glow a soft blue, the spirit’s energy flaring for just a moment before the glow disappeared into his body once more. Ryan was lying down on his back, shaft twitching against his body as something about it felt odd…strange. Sensitive. He bit his lip and tried to tense his muscles once again, panting as he’d been driven to the point of exhaustion. Nothing happened on that third attempt. The spirit stayed inside his body. Completely.
Ryan barely had the chance to panic, struggling to catch his breath before shutting his eyes and shivering again. “N-now…how th-the hell do I…” That same voice echoed in the cave…though this time, it wasn’t in Ryan’s head. It came from him. His muzzle moved, tongue rolling and lips curling as his back arched into the air with a sudden spasm. Before Ryan could comprehend anything, he was lying on his side with one of his legs twitching. He wasn’t doing that…he wasn’t moving anything! Ryan pushed his body up, fighting against an unseen force before his face bent forward and legs shifted into a cross legged position. His nose was suddenly hovering just in front of his paws, the toes curling and paw pads twitching idly from the fight for control. Ryan couldn’t stop his ears from flicking up into the air, a soft blush rushing to his cheeks as he could feel his muzzle curling into a slick grin. “Alright…I think I get it…” As if in immediate response, his legs shifted under him and Ryan tried to push up onto both legs.
“H-hey!!” Ryan cried out, bending at the waist and forcing himself to stay there. One of his arms raised as if trying to grab at the other, Ryan having to force control back while keeping the spirit at bay as best he could.
“H-heh…come now, Ryan. This will be so much better with me steering the ship.” Ryan’s hands curled into an awkward fist, one of them tracing up his thigh before stroking two awkward fingers against his furred sac. He huffed and bit his lip, arm jerking away as he yanked back control and started moving away. But before he even had a chance to move, his right leg went stiff and made him stumble. He barely caught himself with his other leg, one foot paw firm against the ground while his tail flicked and wagged suddenly. Ryan turned his head around to look at his tail, concentrating to stop it from wagging as the spirit took advantage of the distraction. His left hand bent at the wrist, arm jerking down as Ryan fell suddenly to the floor and barely managed to catch himself. His left hand was still flailing around, rushing between his legs before giving his slowly deflating knot a firm, heavy squeeze. Ryan’s whole body shivered, a moan escaping from the back of his throat that neither of them controlled before those soft, warm paw pads drew slowly, firmly, achingly up the underside of his shaft.
“Whuh…” Ryan stammered, pulling his hand away as it shook and fought against him to get back.
“D-don’t you want to-hrng…” His muzzle moved, eyes glinting with a strange sense of wisdom and knowledge with an expression that didn’t match Ryan at all. “...t-to just…c-cum again? And again and again??”
“Wh-why are you s-so-” Ryan gasped, falling to his side as his expression changed and his eyes took on more of his original brown hue. “Suh…s-so obsessed w-with…j-jerking off??”
“N-need to get th-that last…bit of humanity out…” His expression flashed again, hand wrapped fully around his stiff need before squeezing and stroking it again. Ryan gasped and moaned again, body curling against himself before he yanked control back and threw his arm as far away from his cock as he could.
“F-fuck off!” He yelled in the air, growling with a determined look before Wolf Link’s smug grin flashed back.
“Feisty, eh?” He chuckled low, head twitching as Ryan’s attention turned down toward his body once more. He was already so hard again, throbbing need aching for attention as he stifled a whine. But that’s exactly when the spirit realized how he could win. He saw something that made Ryan whimper, even with his futile attempt to stop the sound. His paws. “Ohh…so -that’s- it.” Wolf Link rumbled as more of that blue rippled along his irises.
“Wh-what do yo-” Ryan never had the chance to finish, his body suddenly bending over itself as one of his legs bent at an awkward angle to press his digits against the side of his muzzle. Ryan’s whole body shivered, control wrestled from his grasp for a split second as he moaned and felt his cock twitch harder than before. His paw…those rough, squishy pads stroked against his whiskers before he felt the claws tease at his fur. Each digit wiggled gently against his maw, making Ryan’s tail flick wildly as he moaned even louder.
“A paw slut, are we?” His muzzle formed the words as his paw continued to rub idly against his cheek and down to his nose, Ryan hardly even noticing when Wolf Link took control and grabbed his other leg. It took a bit of adjusting, but his intentions became clear when Ryan could feel his other paw pressed against his sac. His eyes went wide before rolling up, ears splaying out almost comically to the sides of his head as those pads and digits slowly inched their way up to his expanding knot. “Y-yes…I can feel how much you crave this, mmh…” Ryan couldn’t even respond, the spirit having found one of his biggest kinks as he felt his own body drag his paw up and down his rigid need. His claws traced soft, teasing lines along the sides, up the tip, down the knot…it thoroughly worked him over, the brown in his eyes flickering away as more blue took over and his knot throbbed hard. He was already so worked up, the new energy from the spirit getting him hard all over again as he started rolling his hips up against his paw. He couldn’t tell if that was him or the spirit, but it didn’t matter. That pleasure…it was unbearable. Irresistible. Unbelievable. He kept grinding against his paw, labored breath escaping from the back of his throat before the fur stood up on the back of his neck, his tail flicked, he bit his lip, and he let out a howl to welcome the new wolf spirit into his body…
…and shoot out his remaining humanity.
With every pulse of his cock, Ryan could feel himself slipping away more and more. The resistance faded away to raw pleasure, aching need. His knot throbbed as cum spilled down onto his toes and the ground beneath him as Wolf Link gave his new body a full test-drive. The pleasures of the physical plane were impossible to describe, his whole body lighting up as that blue glow flashed and reflected in the back of his eyes once more. The brown was still present, but it was quickly being consumed by the blue of Link’s courageous spirit. For just a moment, he laid on his back and let out a feral, lust-fueled moan. The way his voice echoed against the walls…the way he felt the cum drying along his fur…the idle chill from the breeze blowing past his ears…it was all so…
Real.
“W-well…this will take some time to adjust…” His voice was gruff, a tone lower than Ryan’s as Ryan’s subconscious still hovered around the back of his mind. He could feel his body moving, groaning as he was no longer moving his muzzle. No longer controlling his arms. No longer able to sense the physical world. He felt weaker…spent…almost as if he was just a passenger in his body. That’s when he gasped heavily, energy rushing back to him as Wolf Link had grabbed his discarded clothes and liberally wiped the hardening seed off of his shaft. It slowly pulsed back into his sheath, taking the time to get every bit of cum before going to toss away the clothes…when his hand stopped him. Wolf Link looked down at his arm, grunting as he focused for a moment and wrested control back from Ryan.
“G-geth…g-get out of…” Ryan tried to yell in his mind, hardly able to get the words out as Wolf Link smirked and gripped the cum-stained clothes tighter. One of his legs stiffened, refusing to move as Wolf Link grit his teeth and moved toward a passage with stairs sloping upwards.
“Persistent, aren’t we.” It was more a statement than anything else, Wolf Link ignoring the lame leg as he continued walking toward the staircase that seemed to only recently appear. “This is my body now, Ryan. You’ll be a hero - lauded and glorified for your heroic deeds and feats of courage. You’ll get to be backseat to some of the most magnificent adventures known to Hyrule.” Almost as if an afterthought, Wolf Link threw the clothes to the side and discarded them forever. He eventually shook control back into his leg, though now his head tilted to the side as Ryan did his best to fight back against the powerful spirit.
“Nnohr…” Ryan grunted, feeling his voice getting weaker as more time passed. Wolf Link stretched his neck to the side, a loud crack echoing off the otherwise empty cave walls as Ryan searched his mind for some way to push back. But his memories were all merging with Wolf Link’s, seeing himself as an anthro wolf walking through his hometown…as it slowly shifted to a more feudal style. His childhood home…his best friends…even his family - all of them had shifted into Wolf Link’s memories. It felt like there was very little of Ryan left inside of those thoughts as he kept trying to fight more and more and more. It appeared as an arm going limp, his tail flicking into the air, one of his feet shifting to the side, anything that Ryan could take hold of in an attempt to wrestle his body back from the spirit. But with every passing second, Wolf Link just grew stronger and more confident.
“It’s not worth it, Ryan. The second you achieved your climax, this body became mine. It’s fascinating how so much of the human spirit gets tied to your emotions. Your feelings. Your NEED.” One of his hands reached out to trace his claws idly against the wall, tapping it as the sensation made a shiver rush all through Ryan’s being. “Perhaps if humans acknowledged their baser instincts, this wouldn’t have happened…oh well, too late to consider alternatives now.” A low chuckle of a laugh escaped from deep within his throat, Ryan just watching as they approached the top of the stairs. There was a small cover near the apex, a small pedestal standing in the middle of a circle with a sword stuck straight into it. The blade was flawless, pure polished steel glinting off of the bare bits of light shimmering in the cave. The golden pommel stone twinkled as the royal blue hilt looked as if it was made for Wolf Link’s hands.
“Ahh…how long has it been, my dear friend?” His voice spoke in a low, hushed tone as it hung on the air. There wasn’t even an echo of his voice, the entire small chamber seeming frozen in time as the Master Sword took all forms of attention. Wolf Link paused for a moment in front of the sword, slowly walking in a circle around it with a look of awe and appreciation. “Take it in, Ryan. The ultimate symbol of good. The tool of the Hero of Time. To call it a weapon is to cheapen its true identity and power.” He reached out toward it and let a finger brush down the guard, shivering as it chilled his paw pads. He idly licked his lips, Ryan watching as a third party from deep within his body. In the presence of the Master Sword, he could feel his voice getting even softer as he was fighting just to maintain his presence. But as Wolf Link stood in front of the pedestal and put one paw just to the side of the sword, his hands grasped the cool hilt, squeezed tight, and pulled it from the ground.
A blinding flash of golden light flashed throughout the cave, Wolf Link shielding his eyes as the Master Sword shimmered and vibrated in his grasp. An energy pulsed throughout his body, soft blue light rippling over his limbs as fabric materialized as if out of thin air. Cyan colored clothing wrapped around Wolf Link’s body, going from his right shoulder down toward his hip before white cloth filled the space beneath. The shirt and undershirt felt cool against his fur, the lights flickering around his hips before a thicker tan material wrapped around his ankles, his legs, his waist…covering his nudity as Wolf Link took in a deep breath. He could feel the power filling his body, his quiver appearing at his back once again, covered by a large white shield with the symbol of Hylia emblazoned upon the metal. A light wind blew around the cave, filling his new clothes and ruffling his fur as if a gentle hug from the goddess herself. And all Ryan could do was watch as he felt his voice fading away more and more…slowly sinking down into the depths of Wolf Link’s much stronger spirit before his body let out that long breath from his nose. With the Master Sword clutched confidently in his left hand and his clothes fully materializing, Wolf Link slowly lifted his head before opening his eyes which had fully turned blue.
It was his body now.
“Ryan, you don’t know how many feats you’re about to aid in achieving. How much good you’re about to do. You will truly enjoy being the host for the spirit of the Hero of Time. Now that you’ve sacrificed your body for the good of Hyrule, you have a realm to save.” He slashed in the air, twirling the Master Sword around before sheathing it in the scabbard on his back. “...Well. Sort of. -I- have a realm to save, and you may join.” He smirked with a soft chuckle, making his way up a shorter stairwell to put his hands against the wall and give it a heavy push. The stone gave way, slowly rotating outward as sunlight streamed in through the artificially lit cave. Wolf Link had to turn his head away for a moment, blinded by the sun’s rays before walking out onto the soft, dew-covered grass. The sensation made him gasp, having forgotten all of the beautiful sensations of the physical world as he looked out upon Hyrule once more. But what he saw…wasn’t the realm he remembered.
The sky was red, reflecting the destruction and pain that had been wrought upon it. He’d been gone longer than he realized, head scanning the landscape as he saw destruction. Chaos. Darkness. Ganon’s influence. One of his hands balled into a fist, seeing bits and pieces of Hyrule still intact with a number of monsters waiting to test their might against a hero who thought they were strong enough to win. Link should’ve felt shock. Disbelief. Disgust. But instead…a smile curled upon his muzzle as his brows furrowed. He took another look down at his body, examining himself before shaking his limbs experimentally. “Hmm…not quite up to par.” He quipped quietly, realizing he’d have to spend time regaining his strength, training his body, and honing his skills. He stretched his neck to the sides with a crack, pulling the Master Sword out of its sheath before looking down at the plains below. There was a small camp of Moblins cooking food over a fire with plenty of loot surrounding them. Wolf Link just nodded to himself, smirking eagerly as his ears flicked excitedly.
“Behold, Ryan. You’re about to watch the saga of a hero unfold before your very eyes.” He nodded to himself, almost expecting an answer before taking off at a run down the hill. The Master Sword was held proudly in his hands, twirling with a brilliant flash as he embarked on the start of a new adventure. And yet…Ryan didn’t respond. He didn’t say a single thing. It was hard to tell if he was even still present within his former body. After all…
…it was Wolf Link’s body now.
