A very small story featuring two borzois, Artyom and Bryce, having an unexpected encounter in a forest. This story is based on a piece drawn by Nawka, while also being a follow-up to an older story I wrote.

Bryce belongs to my friend Tarkeen. Huge thanks to Fopfox for revising the story and giving me some lovely advice.

It was raining a bit.

Just kidding, it rained so hard that moving around was incredibly difficult.

"I guess this is what I get for not checking the weather app before hiking," mumbled Artyom to himself, as he was completely soggy from the storm.

He tried to quickly find his way back at the starting point, however the rain was so intense and the sky was so gray, it basically became impossible. To add insult to injury, the sun was starting to set, meaning darkness was advancing.

"No come on...not now. How am I getting back home?" he said. Using his telephone was out of the question, since there was no mobile data. The young borzoi continued wandering through the woods, but with no results: he was cold, wet, sad and in total discomfort.

Artyom then sat down under a tree to dry himself a bit, being utterly desperate and on the verge of crying from how horrible the situation had gotten.

Until he noticed something in the darkness. It was...light? How was that possible? Could an encampment be there, in such a deep part of the forest? Was that, quite literally, a light of salvation for our poor Artyom?

He gathered up the last of his strength, and rushed towards the source of the light. A mix of feelings were emerging: curiosity, fear of the unknown, hope. Once there, he realized he was right, as there was an encampment in the middle of the forest, with two tiny oil lamps illuminating the tent behind them, all while everything was still pitch-black. Was there someone in there?

Before he could think, a mysterious figure peeked his head from the tent and screamed "You! Get in here! It's gonna get much worse, I can offer some shelter."

The mysterious person then briefly opened the tent's entrance, inviting Artyom inside. Without thinking, the borzoi leaped into the tent, gasping for air, finally safe from the hell that was happening outside. "Th-thank you" said Artyom, still overwhelmed by the situation.

But the kind stranger wasn't answering back. Confused, Artyom raised his head and asked "Is everything alr-" and then, it hit him.

Our protagonist's eyes widened in shock, as he could not believe them. The stranger in front of him was no stranger. It was Bryce, a fellow borzoi landsknecht, whom he had passed some time with in the past. The two dogs stared at each other in complete silence, Artyom still on the ground, with every inch of his body dripping water.

Bryce, startled but not in complete shock, broke the silence and asked his fellow borzoi,"...What were you doing here, precisely?"

Artyom, while slightly embarrassed, answered, "Well, I went hiking aaand I got lost. Forgot to check the weather app, hehe. So I wandered for some time in the darkness and rain, ending up here."

Bryce, towering over him, just nodded with his usual cynical indifference. "I see. Glad we managed to meet up again, although in a...less convenient scenario. The rain wasn't kind to you, from what I can tell. I suggest you dry your clothes over there, since staying wet will just make you sick. We already saw each other naked, anyways."

Artyom, relieved, nodded as he (finally) removed all the drenched clothing and hanged them where Bryce told him. It was cold, and being nude and wet wasn't surely the best in the world.

The landsknecht noticed that, handing over to the poor naked Artyom a warm blanket he could dry himself with. "Thank you, Bryce. Without you I would've probably died of hypothermia."

The other borzoi just nodded, while trying to finish his meal. The silence between the two was becoming deafening, and our main character was starting to overthink. "What if I'm invading his personal space? What if he doesn't like me being here? What if that one night stand meant nothing between us? He didn't feel this avoidant last time. I definitely did something wrong to upset him."

The flow of thoughts was interrupted with Bryce just handing over his plate, while muttering out, "You must be hungry. Eat."

Arty took the plate from Bryce's paw and started nibbling what he had offered. His overthinking calmed down, as he enjoyed a meal his friend sacrificed for him. "Thanks. I hope I'm not disturbing you, of course."

The other borzoi just stood up, putting his hat away, "Of course not, are you joking? You would've died out there. This is the minimum I could've done. This storm feels like it's not gonna end before next morning, so you're obliged to stay here anyways."

While Bryce was talking, Artyom was cuddled up in his blanket, all while nodding and eating, staring at Bryce with his stupidly adorable eyes. That made him smile, actually. But being a man of few words, he just didn't say anything, leaving the other borzoi oblivious towards those feelings. Bryce then stretched himself a bit, signaling his tiredness, and started taking his armor off, catching Artyom a bit off guard.

"I'm gonna head to sleep soon. The only problem is that I have just one sleeping bag, so you can either sleep on the ground or sleep with me, if that's not a problem."

"Well, sure, I don't mind that. How could that be a problem?" He replied, confused.

Bryce, as he continued removing his armor, putting it next to his longsword, said "Oh, you know-" while dropping his remaining garments "I always sleep naked."

Both dogs were completely nude now. Artyom felt a rush of blood and emotions flow throughout his body, so powerful that it was really hard to ignore. The moment was so powerful, that the smaller borzoi ended up staring at Bryce in a...very intense way.

"Uhm...are you alright Artyom? As I said before, you already saw me naked."

Our protagonist suddenly snapped back to reality, and in a very feisty mood he said: "Yeah, but you know, I also saw the sunset a million times. Doesn't make it less beautiful or stunning."

Bryce laughed, while covering his eyes from the cheesy comment he just received. "You really think these corny comments work on me? I thought you knew me better," he teased, while lying down onto the sleeping bag.

"Well," Arty said while getting closer, "maybe they do work. How can you say no to someone as cute as me?" He was now climbing onto Bryce, their naked fur making contact after so much of not doing so. The two were now face to face (or snout to snout, to be fair), Bryce smirking with satisfaction as he appreciated how a boring night turned into some warm company.

"You're right, I could never say no to you. Especially when you come into my tent, get naked, eat my food, and now lie onto me." The other dog snickered at Bryce's playful provocations, and without saying anything, the two borzois locked their muzzles in a passionate, deep kiss, filled with lust and yearning you can see just in a few people. Their tongues danced as they got wetter, like the outside of the tent, and warmer, like on the inside.

Bryce, getting more assertive, grabbed onto Artyom's side with one paw, while using his other one to gently hold his cheek. However, what goes around comes around, and Arty's response to this was what you would expect from him: he noticed Bryce getting more...excited, and without thinking too much, he grabbed his unsheathed cock, giving him a handjob which will be hard to forget for how amazing it was.

The two borzois were in perfect harmony,as their tongues continued to waltz, their eyes locked into each other, while Artyom's paw did wonders to Bryce's dick, going rhythmically up and down, varying motion, stimulating his tip and knot. As they continued this love-making ritual, both were getting closer and closer to orgasming. Arty then started slightly humping Bryce as everything was getting more and more infused with orgasmic passion.

In a really brief moment, Bryce couldn't hold it any longer, shooting all his hot liquid onto himself and the other borzoi, while Artyom followed shortly after. The two finally broke their kiss, with a huge saliva string between them, gasping for air due to the intense activity.

"I missed you," said Bryce, showing a brief moment of tenderness.

"I missed you toooooo..." replied Arty, collapsing on Bryce's chest from the extreme fatigue of everything he did till that moment. All of this while the rain was still falling over their tent, in a relaxing rhythm that helped both of them fall asleep.

It was morning. The rain stopped. Arty ok yawned and stretched himself, still naked on the sleeping bag. He opened his eyes. "Good morning Bry-" but there was no Bryce to be seen. The tent seemed just...empty. No traces of other people. Was this all just a dream? Or perhaps Bryce just passed the stealth check on not waking up Artyom in the morning - who knows!
