Fifteen years later, Samantha was the caretaker of an orphanage. When the support money stopped coming, she ran out of cash and the children were starving. She met Joshua again, who was now a full-time hunter. After she owed him money for food many times and it became a problem, Joshua offered her a deal: her "body" in exchange for "food" to feed the children.

Three weeks went by, and the government aid was finally approved. Samantha remembered the feeling of signing for the money clearly. She remembered the weight of the heavy bag of silver coins.

Samantha held it carefully and smiled at the squirrel official at City Hall when he told her, “Good luck, ma’am.”

It turned out that Samantha had extra money to save for the children’s food because she didn't have to pay back the items she got from Joshua.

Yes. She had already paid with her body.

At the dining table, the children had just finished breakfast. (The group consisted of 2 young goats, 2 piglets, 2 kittens, 2 puppies, 1 monkey, 1 fox, 1 rabbit, and 1 raccoon—all between 3 and 6 years old).

Samantha was wiping the raccoon’s face and changing its bib. The other children were playing, chasing each other, and using spoons like swords. Sometimes they banged their spoons on the table. This kind of chaos happened every day.

Knock... knock... knock.

The sound of knocking echoed. The little fox ran to the window and turned back to say, “The wolf is back again, Mama Samantha.”

Samantha stopped working on the raccoon, wiped her hands on her apron, and went to open the door.

Joshua stood at the door. Behind him was a cart loaded with meat, butter, fruit, and honey—enough to feed the children for many days. In his hand, he held a jar. The children didn't know what it was, but Samantha knew... it was a jar of mead.

The children huddled behind Samantha. Everyone was scared but curious. Every eye was fixed on the wolf.

Joshua ignored the little children’s stares, but Samantha knew he noticed them.

The wolf put the supplies on his shoulder and told Samantha, “I’ll put these in the storage room.”

Samantha nodded.

Even after he finished moving the food, Joshua stayed. He sat on a rock near the stream outside, lit his tobacco, and blew out a long cloud of smoke.

At lunchtime, the children gathered at the table and began to eat. There was the sound of playing and arguing, forcing Samantha to walk around the table to manage them.

The little raccoon ran from the table to peek out the window. He turned back and said to Samantha like he was reporting a crime, “Mama Samantha, the wolf hasn't left yet.”

Samantha said, “Don’t call him the wolf, dear. Call him Mr. Joshua.”

The raccoon acted like he didn't hear her and asked, “Why hasn't he left?”

Samantha replied, “I haven't paid for the goods yet. He is waiting for his payment.”

But inside, she felt hot as she thought about the love-making she had with Joshua over the past three weeks.

Samantha’s first-floor bedroom was where the "payment" happened. Once the children were asleep, Joshua would come into the room. He would pull up her skirt and touch her. She noticed that he kept his nails very short and filed them smooth, so it didn't hurt when he used his fingers to pleasure her inside.

Sometimes Joshua came in the afternoon while the children napped; sometimes he came late at night. Or sometimes, he came both times.

Samantha blushed when she thought about the last "payment." The wolf had her lie flat on the bed. He ordered her to spread her legs and pull her own knees apart so he could slide his cock in easily. He groaned as he moved inside her and called her his "wet little sow." Samantha had to tell him to be quiet, or he would wake the children.

Samantha snapped out of her memories and back to the present. When lunch ended, Samantha herded the children upstairs to nap on the second floor. Some protested, some yawned. The goat twins tried to run back down to the first floor until she had to use a stern voice. It didn't take long for Samantha to get everyone into bed. By making them nap at the same time every day, they naturally felt sleepy when the time came.

The sow closed the door softly before walking downstairs. She went outside to Joshua, who was sitting by the stream, and said, “Follow me.”

Joshua stood up, crushed his tobacco under his heel, and followed her. Both of them entered Samantha’s bedroom. Joshua leaned against the windowsill in a relaxed way. He watched Samantha lean over to grab something from a drawer. Her dress was tight, showing the shape of her backside clearly. He thought to himself that he wanted to try hitting it from behind.

Samantha came back with a bag of money. “I have money to pay you this time.”

Joshua shrugged. He gave a wolfish grin—the kind he always liked to give. “Up to you. You can pay in cash, or pay with something else. I’m happy to accept either.”

Samantha didn't want to admit that she liked his smile, liked his big body, and liked his whispers when he was inside her.

“I saw you brought a lot of things this time. It’s more than usual...” she said.

“I’m going over the mountain to hunt with my crew for four or five days,” Joshua said. He paused for a moment. “I’ll probably miss you.”

Samantha was quiet for a moment before telling him, “If you come back next week, I might have my period. You’ll have to take the payment in cash.”

Joshua nodded. He dragged his thumb along her bottom lip. Then, he slid his fingertip into her mouth. Samantha met his eyes and opened her lips, letting him push his finger past her teeth. She stared at him, licking around his fingertip, tasting the salt from his skin.

Joshua licked his lips and withdrew his finger. He reached for the jar of mead and poured it into two cups.

“Drink. It’ll make you a bit hotter.”

Samantha drank.

Joshua drank his, too.
