#1 of Lending A Paw

The skunk was breathing heavily as he made his way back to his home. It was hot, humid and very bright even this early in the morning, but he wasn't going to let that deter him from his morning run. Feeling the sweatband around his head get saturated to the point where it could absorb no more, he pulled it off, quickly replacing it with a new, dry sweatband. He was really pushing himself this morning, not just because of the weather outside, but because he was extending his run by half a mile. The sound of his running shoes going "clack, clack, clack" was the only thing he could hear, other than his intense breathing and heart beat. He just had a little farther to go. Turning the corner, he was back on his street now. He could see his house, and he would really have to push himself now, being on the home stretch. He passed young animals playing in their yards, yelling and screaming as he finally got into his own yard. He almost doubled over as he came to an eventual stop. Grabbing his knees, he could see his lawn had been mowed. The freshly cut grass assailed his nostrils.

He looked over to the house just west of him, seeing a ferret walk outside and wave to him. With his breath returning, he stood up, walking over towards the ferret.

"Morning, Blaze," called out the ferret.

"Morning, Sergeant Major," said Blaze. His neighbor, Sergeant Major Monty Janssen had spent thirty-five years in the United States Army and always appreciated beasts referring to him by his rank, the highest of all enlisted creatures.

"I see you're already up at it this morning. Good for you, son," said the ferret. "More young people could learn from your work ethic. Hell, you should have been in Army. You'd of made a fine soldier; damn fine soldier."

"Thanks," said Blaze. "Did you mow my lawn this morning?"

"Sure did," proudly said the ferret. "You know me, like to stay busy. I saw you doing your running and I figure what are neighbors for? So, brought the mower over here and cut the grass for you. I tell ya, it's gonna be as hot and humid as the Mekong Delta when I was in 'Nam--least here Charlie won't be tryin' to kill me."

"That was very kind of you," said Blaze. "How much do I owe you?"

The ferret waved his paw dismissively. "Meh, not a single red cent, son. I just did it to be neighborly and stay busy."

"And to get away from Mrs. Janssen?" asked Blaze.

"You know what I say," said the ferret, shaking his head. "She's a real ball-breaker, that wife of mine."

"Maybe I should get myself one," said Blaze, desperately needing a drink of water after his long run.

The ferret snorted. "You lookin' to ruin your life already? Nah, son, you stay single until you find a good lady. Trust me, I'm speaking from a wealth of experience."

Blaze laughed, giving the old soldier a salute before they both went back into their homes. Opening the door to his house, Blaze could feel the sweet, cool air from his central air conditioning unit slam into his fur. It felt heavenly after running around on such a hot, humid day. Getting into the refrigerator, he pulled out a bottle of cool water, taking a deep gulp from it. He let the sweat from his fur dry before sitting down in the living room. He looked around his house, content with what he had in life. Thee weren't many creatures that could boast of owning their own home and business at twenty four years old, though Blaze was not the boasting type anyway.

He closed his eyes as he relished all that he possessed. The air conditioning hummed as it continued pumping that sweet, cold air inside. Once he had cooled himself down sufficiently, he decided to was time to take a nice, long, hot shower to wash away all the dried sweat. Going into hall closet, he pulled out a thick towel to dry himself off afterward. In the bathroom, he turned the lights and exhaust fan on and quickly stripped himself down to his bare fur. He turned the water on in the shower, waiting for it to get to the perfect temperature. Before he hopped inside to cleanse himself, he couldn't help but admire his figure in the mirror. Lean, muscular and good looking, he flexed in various poses, though it was all in good fun. Laughing at his own goofy behavior, he stepped inside the shower, closing the sliding door and feeling the hot water sooth his body, washing away all the sweat that had adhered to his fur. He scrubbed vigorously at his fur, wanting to get as clean as possible. He went through his normal "beauty" ritual in washing, using soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Like most other times, the hot water was almost completely depleted by the time he was done.

Stepping out of the shower, he scrubbed his fur down with the thick towel until he felt dry. He exited the bathroom, going to his bedroom to put some clean clothes on. He selected a pair of khaki shorts and green t-shirt that said "Kivisto Heating and Air Conditioning" on it, his very own business that was really taking off in the area. He went back to the bathroom briefly, remembering that he wanted to apply just a pinch of cologne to his face to make him smell good. He returned to the living room, ready to relax and do some reading.

The skunk had been reading for no more than twenty minutes when he heard a car pull up in his driveway. Putting the book down, he peaked in between the blinds that were covering his living room window. There was a car outside he did not recognize. He couldn't yet tell who was inside, but tried to think of who it could be. He wasn't expecting any company today, he rarely got announced visitors, but groaned when he thought about the possibility of some religious proselytizer coming to his door to try and convert him to whatever whacky beliefs they held as the inerrant, infallible truth. He decided to go outside to meet whoever it was, but really groaned once he recognized the person.

"Oh, dear Jesus," he mumbled under his breath.

It was almost worse than a door-to-door religious nut. It was his older sister, Mia who was at his house. He sighed, folding his arms as she got out of the car, telling the young skunk inside the car to stay put for a few minutes. He prepared himself for the encounter with Mia as she walked up to him.

"Hi, Blaze," she said.

Blaze looked her over. She looked much older than her thirty-four years, but that was easy to understand, knowing the kind of life she'd been living for over the past ten years. He curled his toes in aggravation at her presence, but tried to stay cordial with his only sibling.

"Hi, Mia," he answered, trying to sound pleased that she was here at his house.

"How've you been? It's been a while," she said, scratching her arms.

"Over three years," said Blaze. He looked around her, seeing the young skunk sitting in the passenger's side of the front of the car. "That Andy with you?"

"Yeah," she said.

Andy was Mia's son, who Blaze guessed must be about ten years old by now. Due to Mia's completely irresponsible, insane life style, she couldn't even be sure who the boy's biological father was, though truthfully, she didn't concern herself at all with whoever the sperm donor must have been. She was way too self-absorbed for such worries.

"What exactly are you doing here at my house?" asked Blaze, barely able to keep his composure around his sister.

"Look, I know it's been three years since we saw each other, but I'm really trying to get my life back together. You gotta believe that, Blaze," she said.

"I'd like to believe that," said Blaze, unable to control the sarcasm in that remark.

"Come on," she said. "Really, I am."

"Mia," he said, annoyed at being outside in the heat and humidity after just showering. "Would you just tell me what you want? I'd like to go back inside."

"Look," she said, still scratching herself. "I was wondering if you could take in Andy for a few days."

"What?" said Blaze, not expecting such a request, though he should have known better as it was coming from his erratic sister. "How long?"

"Not sure," she said, looking back at the car. Both she and Blaze could see the young skunk looking at them. "I wouldn't ask, but Mom and Dad are in Hawaii right now for their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary. Please, I'm begging you, Blaze."

The skunk sighed, putting his paw on his face. He knew damn well that Mia wasn't trying to "get her life back together" as she claimed. More than likely she was doing something he didn't want to know about, but still, she was his sister, and he had to be concerned with the welfare of his only nephew.

"Okay," he said. "I'll do it."

"Great," said Mia. "One more favor."

"Let me guess, you need money, right?" he said, glaring at her.

"Just a hundred bucks," she said.

Blaze got out his wallet, giving his sister five, twenty dollar bills. Now he was being an enabler, he thought to himself, but if it got her out of his fur, it was probably going to be worth it. "Come on, tell Andy he can come inside."

Mia opened the driver's side door, telling Andy that he was going to be staying with his Uncle Blaze for a while. Blaze opened the back car door, taking hold of the duffel bag that Mia had packed for him. Andy gave his mother a kiss before she got in the car and drove off. The young skunk waved to his mother as she disappeared from view. Andy looked up at the older skunk.

"Hi, Uncle Blaze," he said, smiling happily.

"Hey, kiddo," he said giving the boy's head fur a good ruffling. "Surprised you remembered me."

Andy laughed. "Sure I do."

"Hey," said Blaze. "I'm frying out here. Let's go inside."

The two went back indoors. Andy looked around, surprised to see everything in Blaze's home. Blaze put the boy's duffel bag on the couch, observing his nephew's behavior. It was pretty amazing to him that Andy appeared to be a happy kid. That was nothing short of a miracle, given that his mother was an emotionally unstable, on again, off again drug user. Blaze cringed when he thought about how many guys his older sister had probably given herself too. At least she got Andy out of such behavior.

"You've got an awesome place, Uncle Blaze," said Andy.

"Thanks," said Blaze. "Let me show you where you'll be staying."

With a three bedroom house, Blaze had his own room, an office, and a guest bedroom that didn't really see much use. Andy's eyes lit up as he saw where he would be staying. Throwing his duffel bag down by the closet, he jumped on the queen size bed.

"This thing is huge," he said. "Thanks, Uncle Blaze."

"You welcome," said Blaze. "Make yourself at home. I've got food in the pantry, frig and freezer. Got a microwave, toaster oven, and range. I've got Wi-Fi, satellite television, X-Box and a desktop computer in my office."

"Wow!" exclaimed the young skunk, jumping off the bed. "You must be rich."

"I do alright," said Blaze. "You hungry?"

"Yeah," said Andy, feeling his stomach grumbling.

"Then let's go get some lunch," said Blaze. "Come on, my car's in the garage."

Andy ran out of the room towards the garage. Blaze couldn't help but get a kick out of the kid.

In town, Blaze had let Andy pick which restaurant he wanted to eat at. The boy was unfamiliar with the area, as he and his mother hadn't lived here. Blaze explained what each place served and told him that he could take his time making his decision. As soon as Blaze mentioned "all you eat buffet", Andy almost jumped out of his seat with excitement. Laughing, Blaze pulled in the parking lot of that restaurant.

Inside, Andy was surprised to see so many people coming up to his uncle and talking to him. It had been three years since he had last seen Blaze--an eternity when you're only ten--and he wondered if his uncle was someone really important around the area.

"Uncle Blaze?" asked Andy.

"Yes?" said Blaze as they sat down at a booth.

"Why's everyone keep coming up and talking to you?" asked the boy.

"I own a business here in town, so I deal with a lot of beasts," said Blaze. He pointed at his own shirt. "See? Kivisto Heating and Air Conditioning. That's my business."

"So you fix that sort of stuff?" asked Andy.

"Not as much anymore," explained Blaze. "I've been doing pretty well, so I have other beasts working for me and they do most of the work repairing and installing those things."

"Maybe I should own a business when I'm grown up?" mused Andy.

"Lotta work," said Blaze. "You have to be very disciplined and know how to handle money."

"Oh," said Andy. "I don't think Mom handles money very well."

"Why do you say that?" asked Blaze.

"I saw you give her some money when I was in the car," he said.

"Well," said Blaze, patting his nephew's head. "You don't worry about that, okay? You just worry about having a good time when you're a guest at my place."

The waitress came to ask what kind of beverages the two wanted. Blaze just wanted water with lemon, while Andy wanted Orange Crush. Both were told by her that they were free to use the buffet now. Blaze had to mildly correct Andy as he almost knocked other beasts over to get to the food. Really though, he couldn't blame the boy. He knew that Mia probably didn't give him meals on a regular basis, and that he was probably very hungry. Taking the time to show him properly how to select the food, Andy quickly exhibited good manners as he filled his plate and went back to the booth to eat. When Blaze returned to the booth, he again had to correct Andy, only this time for his table manners. He could see that others at the restaurant were looking at them, but he was calm and understanding, giving the boy instruction rather than punishment. Andy took to his Uncle's words well, and within minutes he was eating like the most polite, well behaved child imaginable. Many of the beasts who'd been staring at them were now smiling. Good, thought Blaze to himself. He managed to not ruin his reputation, plus he had shown that he was pretty good at dealing with children.

"What do you want to do when we get back home?" asked Blaze, finishing up a chicken leg.

"You said you got an X-Box, right?" asked Andy.

"I do," said Blaze.

"Could I play it?" asked Andy

"Sure can," said Blaze. "But I'll need the TV back later tonight."

"What's on tonight?" asked Andy, taking a sip from the straw in his glass.

"Saturday night. That means the fights are on."

"The fights?" asked Andy, puzzled.

"Boxing," said Blaze. "I always watch boxing on Saturday nights."

"Is that where they put on gloves and punch each other?" asked Andy.

"Sure is," laughed Blaze. "You wanna watch 'em?"

"Yeah," said Andy. "Sounds like fun."

"Okay," said Blaze, getting out his wallet to pay their bill. "Just promise me that you won't go around punching other creatures if you really get into that."

Andy laughed. "I promise I won't hit anyone, Uncle Blaze."

"Good boy," said Blaze. "Now, how about we go back so you can enjoy that X-Box."

Uncle and nephew spent the rest of the afternoon in each others company. Blaze alternated between reading and just sitting in his chair watching his nephew get completely engrossed with the X-Box. Blaze couldn't claim to have much experience dealing with kids. He only had one sibling, Mia, who was ten years older than him, and he was the youngest of all the grandchildren on both sides of the family. Still, he got a sense of satisfaction out of being around Andy. He was such a good kid, deserving much better than Mia for a mother, plus, it was nice to have another person around the house to spend time with. Andy kept playing video games almost to the time of the fights, but didn't utter a word of protest as he relinquished control of the television over to his Uncle Blaze.

Being the big fight fan he was, Blaze was pleased to see that his nephew was taking an interest in the sport, asking all sorts of questions, but that didn't bother Blaze at all.

"What's that guy rubbing over his face?" asked Andy, seeing a trainer applying something to a fighter's face between rounds.

"That's Vaseline," explained Blaze. "It makes punches slide off your face when you get punched."

"Oh," said Andy. "That way they don't hurt as much, right?"

"Exactly," said Blaze. "You're a pretty smart kid, you know that?"

"Thanks," said Andy, smiling. "Did you ever want to be a boxer, Uncle Blaze?"

"Yeah, at one time," sighed Blaze. "But that's a hard way to make a living and I'm happy with where I'm at right now in the heating and air conditioning business."

"That's good," said Andy.

"You know what else?" asked Blaze.

"What?" said Andy.

"I'm happy to have you here with me. You're a great kid and lot's of fun to be around, Andy."

Andy gave his uncle a hug. Blaze almost melted from the affection he was shown by his young nephew. The two watched all three fights that were being broadcast that night before Blaze declared that it was time to go to bed.

"Okay," said Andy. "Can I take a bath first?"

"Sure," said Blaze. "I'll get you a towel and wash cloth."

Blaze went and retrieved the needed items for Andy to take a bath. Knowing that the boy was perfectly capable of bathing himself, he went into his own room and stripped down to his boxers. It had been a long day, and he was exhausted. He flicked off the lights and climbed into bed. Looking over at his alarm clock, he made sure the alarm clock was set for his run in the morning. Yawning loudly, it took almost no time for sleep to overtake him.

An hour after getting into bed, Blaze was woken up by a tapping on his shoulder. He turned on the lamp by his bed, seeing that it was none other than Andy standing next to him, dressed in a t shirt and underwear.

"What's wrong," asked Blaze, yawning, rubbing his eyes from the sudden emergence of light.

"I can't sleep," said Andy. "Can . . . can I sleep with you?"

Blaze thought it odd that a ten year old would be asking to sleep with an adult, but Andy didn't exactly have the most conventional upbringing so far. The older skunk had quickly developed a soft spot for his nephew anyway.

"Alright," said Blaze. "You're not going to wet the bed, are you?"

"No," said Andy indignantly.

"Okay," said Blaze, feeling Andy get under the covers with him. "Lights out."

He reached over, turning the lamp off, making the room almost pitch black, just the way he liked it. He turned, laying on his left side, finding sleep harder to come by since he had been unexpectedly roused from sleep. He closed his eyes, but felt Andy moving closer to him, rubbing up against him. It wasn't annoying or bothering him. Actually, it felt nice to have another body up against his own. Just before he could fall back to sleep, he felt Andy's paw reach around him. He jumped up when the boy's paw got inside his boxer shorts. Andy yelped from his Uncle's sudden movement. Blaze turned on the lamp, showing a frightened young skunk in bed with him.

"Andy," said Blaze. "What in the world are you doing?"

"I . . ." said Andy, but he couldn't get the words out. Putting his paws over his face, the boy cried. Feeling like a heel, Blaze hugged his nephew, trying to calm him down.

"Hey," said Blaze. "I'm sorry I scared you, but I wasn't expecting that." He grabbed a tissue from next to the lamp. "Here, now tell me what's going on, okay?"

Andy wiped his eyes and blew his nose before answering his uncle's question. "I . . . I know I like boys, Uncle Blaze."

"What do you mean?" asked the older skunk.

"You know . . . how boys are supposed to like girls? That's how I like other boys."

"Andy, said Blaze. "Are you telling me you know you're gay?"

He nodded, but couldn't make eye contact with his uncle. Blaze hugged him tightly, patting his back. Andy sniffled again. "I . . . I just wanted to, you know . . . try it out."

Blaze laughed. "Andy, can I be honest with you?"

"Yeah," said the young skunk weakly.

"You're not the only one in the family to like boys," said Blaze.

"Really?" he said. "Who else likes them?"

"I do," confessed Blaze. "But I like girls too."

"Oh," said Andy, managing a smile. "So you're bi?"

Blaze ruffled the boys head. "You should be ashamed that a kid as young as you even knows what that means, you little stinker."

Andy laughed at the attention. Blaze hugged him again, and decided that he was going to ask him a very big question. "You know, Andy, you're a guest in my home, and if you're very quiet about it, you can try stuff with me."

"Really?" said the young skunk excitedly.

"Sure," said Blaze. "But it's our little secret, just between uncle and nephew, okay?"

"Okay," said Andy, happy to find out that his uncle was so accomadating.

"Alright then," said Blaze. "You wanna get a better look at me?"

"You bet," said Andy.

Blaze chuckled, getting out of bed. Andy watched as his uncle removed his t-shirt, revealing his well sculpted frame. The young skunk hoped that he could have a body like that one day. Grinning back at Andy, Blaze pulled his boxers down and stepped to the side, leaving him with only his fur on. Andy looked down in between his uncle's legs, seeing his manhood quickly rising.

"Can . . . can I touch that?" he asked timidly.

"Please do," laughed Blaze.

Andy slowly reached his paw out, putting it on his uncle's hardening member. He'd never touched another boy's penis before, but had wanted to for as long as he could remember. Blaze looked down, seeing his nephew work the member in his paw. It turned him on, seeing the young boy be so into what they were doing. Still, Blaze wanted more.

"Hey, Andy?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you wanna take your clothes off for me?"

"Would I!" shouted the boy.

The older skunk laughed as he watched his nephew swiftly tear off the t shirt and pair of underwear he was wearing. Blaze had some experience with other guys, and it was always more fun when you were both naked, and this was no exception. Blaze saw that the boy was at the stage where his baby fat was going away and he would probably soon hit puberty. The older skunk climbed back into bed, all the while Andy refused to take his paw off his uncle's dick. Blaze watched in between his legs as the ten year old skunk worked his member, rubbing it and making it feel heavenly. He knocked the covers off the bed, not wanting them to get in the way of what they were doing. The older skunk was shocked to see that as things got more intense, Andy actually moved his head down and licked at his member, taking him to new heights of arousal. He didn't bother with instructions, as Andy had probably watched videos of male on male porn before, learning a great deal from them, no doubt. There were no words spoken as Blaze just went with the flow, letting the younger skunk set the pace. He moaned deeply as Andy finally placed his mouth over his member, only letting in a few inches of his endowment, but still, it felt beyond great. As he got more into it, Andy let his paw slide up to the rock hard abs of his uncle, rubbing them deeply, hoping for the day when he would have such a physique. Blaze took hold of Andy's paw, not to stop him, but because he simply felt so close to the boy right now. He felt closer to him than anyone in his life.

Just as Andy had learned quickly when it came to table manners and boxing, he was really improving his oral technique, almost getting to the base of Blaze's cock, and the older skunk was not diminutive in that area either. They were really getting it on now, with Andy whimpering with a cock in his mouth, and Blaze breathing harder and harder as he was nearing the end. Not wanting to overdo it, he pulled his cock out of the boys mouth as he came, shooting his seed onto both of them. Andy laughed at the sight, while Blaze breathed a sigh or relief, happy to have a release.

"That was fun," said Andy, wiping the cum off himself with some tissues.

"Yeah," said Blaze. "You ever do that before?"

"Nope," said Andy. "But I've seen the videos."

Huh, just as the older skunk had suspected. He cleaned himself off and felt Andy snuggling up beside him. "Did you want me to do that to you? Only fair, you know."

"That's okay," yawned the younger skunk. "I pawed off before taking a bath."

"Ah," said Blaze, rubbing the boy's ears. "I see. Well, I need to get some sleep before my morning job, so I'm turning the lights off for the last time tonight, okay?"

"Okay."

He turned the lights off. The room was dark again and he yawned. Tired, but happy that he'd gotten a blow job, Blaze was ready to drift off.

"Uncle Blaze?"

"Yeah?"

"Can . . can we do more stuff tomorrow?"

"Sure," said Blaze, happy to be snuggling with his nephew. "After all, you are my guest."
