================================================================
Marlous stood silently in front of a large black wall of flames, watching his son walk along the docks, a grin slowly forming on his muzzle as a large shadow formed behind him, red eyes piercing the darkness, its rumbling breath sounding like thunder.
"Master.?" spoke the shadow in a deep voice.
"Go. Destroy him, but bring me his sword and soul." Marlous replied with out looking away from the flames. The eyes of the creature slowly faded away into the darkness, as he held up his large paw, a black rose made of flames appeared; hovering in the palm of his paw.
Max looked around slowly as he walked along the docks, his eyes focused on the old wood beneath his feet, the sound of his foot claws tapping softly with each step he made. The sound of the sea lulling him into a state of calmness, everything around him forgotten. Slowly his paw moved to his arm, rubbing along the renewed flesh and fur that covered the metal underneath. He then looked up with a slight sigh before snickering softly. "Funny...my whole life I have searched, and battled my father, and yet I am still yet to find a way to destroy him."
"You'll find a way, my son." spoke a heavenly, feminine voice.
"I hope so...soon." he replied as he looked to the side, as a she-wolf formed from a shimmer of white light, walking beside him, her silver gray fur shining softly, her only clothing was that of a silk midnight blue dress...and upon her back was a pare of large, white angel wings. Slowly she looked over to him with ice blue eyes, a soft smile on her muzzle. She softly placed her paw upon his shoulder, giving a soft reassuring squeeze, Max gave a soft sigh, looking back to the ground. "I have the feeling that he can't be destroyed."
"We all have a weakness, Max. You just have to find it." Victoria replied softly before she stopped walking, looking off to the side, toward the sea. "Something's coming."
"I know, I felt it not long ago. Its big." he replied softly, turning to stand beside her, his eyes scanning the endless blue before his hackles raised up as he gave a deep growl. As if on cue, a black shadow formed in the sea before through the center a large serpent like beast sprung forth, its skin a pale gray, two large red eyes, and a body bigger around than that of a Commercial Liner Jet...a row of spines down its back, two long, thin arms with claws sharp as razors. Its body looking like a towering spire in the water as it looked down on the two wolves with a grin, soon it spoke in a deep rumbling voice.
"I am Velsar, Master Marlous sends his regards, and had given me orders to destroy both of you and bring him your souls." the serpent like beast grinned wider, showing a row of spike like teeth.
Max slowly looked to his mother with a grin. "Looks like its time to go to work again, eh?". Victoria gave a quick nod, disappearing before reappearing in the form of a Diamond bladed sword, the crystal in the center of the hilt holding a black and white wolf inside, shining brightly as Max took hold of it...a soft surge of black lightning coursing up and down the length of the blade.
The suns light reflecting off the finely polished gold, silver, and platinum hilt, if one looked closely at the two wolves in the crystal, one could see that there hackles were raised as well. Slowly he pointed to Velsar with his sword. "I don't give a damn about what your little mission is, all I care about is making that son of a bitch pay for what he did to my life." he growled.
"Save your pity, pup. Your words will not sway me from my orders.!" Velsar replied before his eyes glowed brightly, soon a red beam of light erupted from them, streaking toward its target below...and upon impact, a explosion ripped the air. Slowly as the smoke cleared, a large part of the dock where the wolf had once stood was disintegrated into blackened ash. "Hm, seams the master was wrong about this one...he was weak, destroyed by my weakest attack. Why would he want such a useless soul.?"
"Because you missed you big fish!" Max retorted with a grin, as he stood on the roof of a warehouse, swinging his sword from side to side like a clocks pendulum. "Remember, looks can be deceiving." he snickered before narrowing his eyes. "My turn!"
He swung the sword out to the side, a slight shining streak in the air in front of him, left behind from the quick movement to the side before he placed his paw to the shimmering light. Soon a large circular seal formed in front of him, lined in gold, the inside was designed with royalty, with his mothers royal crest; the shape of a lightning bolt; on it. "HEAVENS JUDGEMENT!" he called out before he punched through the seal, aimed right for Velsar...and a split second later a large beam of white light ripped from the center and streaked toward its target with lightning speed, slamming into Velsars chest with such force it sent him backwards into the water with a splash. "Did I get him?"
"Don't let your guard down." came Victoria's voice from the crystal. Soon Velsar rose from the water with a deep growl. "Told ya." Victoria quipped.
"Hm, so you are as strong as he thinks. This should prove very entertaining." Velsar snickered before lunging down quickly, its face shattering through the warehouse, and dock in a failed attempt to bite the wolf, who had quickly dodged to the side, landing upon the ground level before he ran up close delivering a hard uppercut slash with his sword, leaving a deep, gaping rip in the creatures flesh as it reared back with a roar of pain as blood surged from the wound. From out of nowhere a large clawed hand swept out and struck Max in the chest, sending him flying backwards and through the wall of a warehouse, coming to a stop when he slammed into a large forklift, but not before it left the machine shaped like a V from the force of impact.
Slowly Max moved from the wreckage, shaking out the cobwebs that had taken residence in his head before he looked up to see Velsar staring at him with his mouth open wide, soon a myriad of tentacles shot from the beasts open mouth, determined to ensnare him. He growled slightly, stepping back before a dome of black lightning formed around him, creating a protective barrier. Lightning crackled with each hit it took from the tentacles, soon the barrier shattered like glass only to revile a hole in the floor, then Velsar roared in pain when the wolf had jumped up onto its back from behind...jamming his sword into the top of its head, driving all five foot of razor sharp diamond into the flesh. The large beast rose up to its full height, shaking its head this way and that in order to try and shake off its unwanted guest, but was unable to do much in the way of removing such a persistent pest. Soon with one hard swing of its mighty head, Velsar sent Max flying through the air before he was once more slapped with a large clawed hand, sending him rocketing back to earth, this time sending him into the larger part of the docks, where the wood was replaced with thick, solid concrete. Upon impact he had created a crater in the rock, but even that did very little to slow down the speed as he was embedded in the ground a extra eight feet on top of the four foot deep crater.
"No one could survive that." Velsar snickered before looking to the large hole in the ground as he heard movement. "Imposable! I will not fail my masters wish!" he roared, sending his fist into the crater, slamming the helpless wolf, deeper into the earth, putting the weight of close to twenty tons onto him.
"He's...too strong..." Max whined softly, feeling the increasing pressure on his body.
"No he's not! You can do it!" Victoria replied softly.
"He's...crushing...me!" he whimpered.
"Then do something about it!"
"I....CAN'T!" he cried out.
"Maxamillion Wolf Charger! I did NOT raise you to be WEAK! Now get off your ass, and finish this fight!" Victoria growled.
Soon a bright light ripped from the gaps, and cracks in the concrete causing Velsar to do a double take on what was happening, before a strong force sent him flying backwards and into the water before Max shot up from the crater, his fur a deep snow white, a pare of white angel wings upon his back...he looked down at the large creature with ice blue eyes. "I will end this fight now, I have had all the toying around that I can take." he growled, holding his sword high into the air, the point toward the heavens.
Velsar slowly rose up with a roar "How can this be?!" soon he saw the glowing mark upon the young wolf's arm, his eyes going wide...how could he have missed it, the royal seal of the God of Light. "You're...HIM! But how can this be? You are supposed to be destroyed!!!"
"You are right, Velsar...I was, but now I have found a new body to reside in...and from the looks of things..." Max slowly grinned "My work is far from over."
"Yes it is...I'LL DESTORY YOU MYSELF!!" Velsar roared before opening his mouth wide, a large ball of fire forming, growing to the size of a large bolder before it was then sent at the wolf, who gave one hard flap of his large wings, soaring up over the oncoming fireball before turning around and slashing to the side, a beam of energy streaking out behind the attack...closing the distance with great speed before cutting through the flames causing it to explode. Slowly the wolf turned toward the beast, his eyes blazing with glory as he slowly wrapped his wings around himself, a bright glow taking form.
"Howling Strike!" came the wolf's angelic voice as if from the heavens itself, flaring out his wings before beams of light rained down upon Velsar with such speed that it closely mimicked the crying howls of wolves. Soon the large beast was enveloped by blinding lights and a deafening explosion. Slowly the smoke cleared, as Velsar slowly struggled to rise from the water, his burning red eyes locked upon the wolf that hovered over him.
"I can not lose..."
"You already have, Velsar. It's time to go home." Max replied.
"You'll DIE, and this time you will remain DEAD!" Velsar roared in anger, slowly raising up, his eyes glowing red "I'll take you to hell with me!! TOTAL CAIOS!!" he formed a large red ball of energy in front of him, slowly growing larger until it had spanned the size of sixty feet before unleashing it in one final attack.
Max held his sword to the sky, as a ball of white light formed at the tip, growing brighter until it mimicked the form of a supernova star, slowly he grinned.
"Your time has come, to be cleansed of all your wicked ways. HEAVENS VOW!" his heavenly voice echoed in the air as a large altar appeared behind Velsar, beams of light ensnaring him and dragging him backwards toward the large wall before forcibly holding him to it as Max brought the sword down in front of him, the ball of light forming a long energy blade that streaked out, slamming into the demons chest before exploding in a wall of light. Soon as the light faded away...nothing was left of the beast. Slowly he landed upon the dock, watching the sea as it shimmered softly before a small ball of light sprung from the rippling blue water and floated toward him. He slowly reached out with a paw, touching the light before everything disappeared, leaving him hovering in a white void as a small green light floated in front of him.
"Maxamillion...Father and God to all that is holy...I am the Earth Spirit. I was trapped by the darkness and enslaved by that beast, Velsar...I never gave up hope that you would return and bring peace and harmony to the worlds again." spoke a soft childlike voice from the light.
"It is my calling to protect those who are in need. Are the others safe?" he replied.
"No, we are all in grave danger, when all seven spirits are united unto one holder, the one who controls all of the elemental spirits will become a force greater than the all mighty creator...a indestructible God." the spirit replied softly.
"Then it is my duty to restore the balance." Max said with a slight nod.
"I give myself to you, Maxamillion...I will lend all my power to help you rid this world of darkness...but I must warn you...Marlous has the Dark Spirit...and...the Light Spirit is missing...Has been missing for three hundred and fifty years."
"Very well...I accept your help. We must go and search for the rest." Max looked around slightly, his wings twitching.
"Lets." The spirit replied before floating toward him, disappearing into the wolf's body before the light faded away, leaving him standing silently on the docks, his form, returned to normal, his silver gray fur shining in the soft sunlight, and his sword in his paw.
"Wow...that was odd. Mother...Was that him?"
"Yes, the God of light...one of the strongest warriors who fought for good." replied Victoria as she appeared beside him, watching the water.
"Will you tell me about him, and the Elementals?" slowly he looked to her, his tri-color eyes showing hints of mesmerization.
"Later my son...for now, lets rest." she replied with a soft giggle before walking off down the docks.
"But..." Max sighed, watching the water before turning his head to see his mother walking away. "HEY...Don't leave me!" he called out, while running up to join her as she walked toward the city.
Marlous stood in front of the wall of flames, a wine glass in paw before his growling roar filled the darkness as he tossed the glass into the wall, the sound of shattering glass echoing in the darkness. "That no good Warrior is back...I knew I should have done a better job on him...I won't make the same mistake twice...I'll have both of there power...and once I find the rest of the Elemental Spirits...no one will dare defy me...NO ONE!!" his yelling voice echoed through out the castle and the lands of fire and darkness...bats flying from a few open windows in a fury of shrieks and the flutter of wings.
